CHAPTER 7.

I hate going to sleep with you on my mind and not in my bed.

Unknown

Sasuke wanted to go to Sakura's room to see if she had woken up and to check how she was feeling, but when he entered the castle Suigetsu stopped him. He was still agitated by everything that had happened, the rage had not left his body, although his objective had been achieved, he was still nervous, so Suigetsu told him that it was better for him to rest and calm down before seeing and talking to Sakura. Sasuke looked at him with angry eyes, he didn't want to wait, he wanted to have her in his arms again and protect her, but he knew he was right. It was better for him to calm down, perhaps in that state Sakura would reject him again, and he hadn't liked how he had felt when she rejected him.

He went to his room and took a shower to get rid of all the stench of the demon village, and also to relax his muscles and body from all the tension accumulated in the last few hours. Then he lay down for a while to rest, because he hadn't been able to sleep for hours. He had had so many things on his mind, ever since he had spoken to his brother Itachi about Obito, they were beginning to worry that something was happening in the realm of fantasies. His brother had told him that perhaps some god had him held there for some personal fantasy. It would not be the first or the last time that a god tried to take over the fantasies of the kingdom of Obito. Because it was a world full of desires, and there you could create the most beautiful and irresistible fantasy. Some gods like Dionysus had already tried to camp at ease in the realm of fantasies and live there claiming the kingdom for himself. But thanks to his brothers and his father Hypnos they were able to get rid of him so that he could return to his kingdom. So, Itachi feared that another god had invaded his brother's kingdom.

The last time they spoke, Itachi would try to enter the realm of Phantasos to find out if his theory was correct and thus be able to help his brother. But since then, he has heard no news. The last time he had seen Itachi had been for Sakura event and at that moment he didn't have the mind to ask him about his brother. So, he didn't know or have any news about his older brother. He felt selfish for having been focusing only on his wishes, he wasn't like that. The brothers had always supported each other and had put their family before other creatures. Sasuke fell asleep thinking that after seeing Sakura was okay, he would visit his brother again to see if there was any news.

When Sasuke slept, he never dreamed unless he deliberately provoked it, but that was like daydreaming, because he controlled the situation that occurred when he "dreamed". He simply rested, without dreams, nightmares or fantasies, or so he thought.

He found himself back in the same forest where he had provoked his fantasy with Sakura, and in the distance sitting on the bank of a stream was Sakura wearing the same silky dress as the last time, how strange, thought Sasuke, how could I be dreaming? But he got carried away.

Sakura hadn't noticed he was there, so he approached her afraid of scaring her, but when she noticed he was there she turned around and gave him a smile.

"Sasuke.." she said in a thin voice as she saw him approaching and stood up, showing each of her perfect curves. He was stunned watching her, sometimes he forgot how beautiful and wonderful she was.

"Sakura, are you dreaming?" he asked confused by the situation, because normally he didn't dream, and anyway, even if they dreamed about him, it was an illusion it wasn't him in person, but now, instead, for some reason she had summoned him in her dream.

"Or maybe you're dreaming," she answered calmly. She looked so beautiful with long hair. Even though she had it short, but there in that dream she had it long to her waist, as if she were a nymph. "Well, it doesn't really matter, does it?" She answered again as she tentatively approached him, looking deeply into his eyes, as if inviting him to do something, something he had wanted since he had met her.

Sasuke took a step forward towards her, brushing back the pink locks that were on her face, wanting to see her emerald eyes more clearly. Her half-open pink mouth invited him to kiss her. And Sasuke couldn't resist such temptation. He placed his other hand on the lower back to push her towards him, he wanted to feel her, her body, her smell, and her touch. Sakura tentatively caressed his jaw, her fingers causing a little tickle, feeling a burning sensation inside him. Then her fingers touched his thin lips, as if inviting him to be kissed. Sakura's touch was suffocating, feeling her body on his chest was overwhelming, he wanted to have her so close that even each of their atoms were repelling each other and at the same time wanting to be united. He could feel his blood boiling inside him, and he realized that Sakura felt the same, when he let out a sigh and looked at her adorably pink cheeks. At that moment they felt such heat that the desire was being suffocating. The hand he had on her cheek he put it under her chin lowering so that their lips collapsed feeling each of their particles dance and burn at their touch. Sakura deepened the kiss introducing her tongue and he accepted it with more passion than at the beginning, pushing her closer to him. Sasuke noticed how his pants became a little more uncomfortable, noticing his erection and Sakura rubbed her center against him when she noticed his hardness letting out a small moan. He lowered his hand slowly as if waiting for her to stop him and placed it under Sakura's ass as he deepened the kiss more and more, it was perfect, like every inch of her body. Sakura held herself firm with her arms hugging his neck, and feeling every part and every movement of Sasuke's hands travel all over her body.

Gently he lowered her little by little until he deposited her on the grass. He got on top of her, putting his knees next to her hips. Sakura grabbed his neck and pushed him towards her, and twisted again feeling the hardness of it. Sakura slowly took off his coat, as if it bothered her and Sasuke helped her with his arms leaving him on the ground next to them. Thanks to the new position Sasuke was able to slide his hand under her dress feeling her silky skin under his hands. The contact was like a drug, he wanted to feel every curve of her skin, he wanted to feel her around him, her warm and wet insides. The anticipation was killing him and his erection was bothering him so he rubbed his hardness against Sakura's core again to ease the pain a little and she responded with the same gesture. Sakura ran her hand down Sasuke's chest feeling the firmness of his chest and each of his muscles, tentatively trying to slip her small hand into his pants when suddenly Sasuke woke up.

He felt the firm erection under his belly, and he missed the contact he had had between his fingers of Sakura. He could still smell her essence and feel her breath and the broken voice of her moans, with each caress he gave her. He sat up frustrated by the sensation. Because he had been dreaming, and it was not normal. That was not typical in his sleeping, someone had caused that dream for him to dream it, someone who belonged to the realm of fantasies, Sasuke thought.

He went back to the bathroom to take a cold shower, the heat he had felt in the dream still remained in his body. And under the waterfall of the shower water, he began to stroke his hardness in search of relief, remembering the touch of Sakura's skin, her kisses and caresses, and how he had almost felt her hand surrounding his erection. At that thought he released all his essence in the shower. Feeling relief and at the same time shame for having thought of her in such a way. But he wanted her, he wanted her more than anything. He brushed off the frustrated thought that everything he had lived had been a mere fantasy. He didn't go to see Sakura; he angrily left the castle in search of his brother. Someone had caused this, playing with his desires, someone was manipulating his dreams and he had to do something about it.

"Little brother, is Sakura better now?" Itachi asked as soon as he saw Sasuke walking through the door. Sasuke's angry face was different from a few hours ago when he went looking for explanations and the incubus that had hurt Sakura. Now his anger showed a hint of frustration.

"Don't mention Sakura," he spat furiously, he felt partly ashamed of what had happened. He felt like his privacy had been violated, no one had ever manipulated him and made him dream, much less a wet dream. "Is there any news about Obito?" he asked with frustration. Itachi understood that he went to talk about his brother, the Sakura issue had happened in between and it was normal that now his brother was focused on the Phantasos matter.

"No, I'm afraid there's nothing new," he said serious with sad eyes. "I've tried to enter the realm of fantasies, but there's still something, like a force that prevents me from entering,"

"Have you noticed anything strange regarding fantasies?" Sasuke asked, hoping that Itachi had experienced something similar to him. But he didn't want to elaborate much more.

"What do you mean? Anything stranger than not being able to communicate with Obito?" Itachi asked, oblivious to what his brother was referring to.

"No, I mean have you had some kind of dream..." he replied, hinting at what had happened to him.

"Do you mean if i have had a fantasy?" he asked bluntly, and something inside Sasuke twisted. Shame. He was the younger brother, and he never talked about personal things, much less about women or sex. That was something that each of them had to discover for themselves, he thought.

"Yeah... something like that," he replied dryly, clearly embarrassed, and Itachi smiled mockingly.

"No, little brother, I haven't had any fantasies. Have you?" he asked teasing him.

"I don't want to talk about it..." he said as he looked away from his brother, clenching his jaw in anger.

"Sasuke... you know you can talk to me about anything," he said calmly. And it was true. Itachi was the more rational and understanding brother. Obito was a bit like Sasuke, or rather Sasuke was like Obito. Both impulsive, lonely, arrogant and cold. On the other hand, Itachi had the fatherlier role since his own was always absent.

"No, I don't want to talk about it," he said simply. And Itachi still had the warm smile.

"Okay, but if you hint that you had a fantasy and it wasn't caused by you, that confirms that something strange is going on in the realm of Phantasos," he said serious this time, aware of the seriousness of the matter.

"I know..." he remained thoughtful "Do you think that father could know something or could have the power to break into the realm of Phantasos?" he asked.

"I have thought about it... but I haven't gone to him, I wanted to consult you first," he hesitated for a moment "Knowing the relationship you have with him..." he said at last.

"Well, that doesn't matter now, our older brother's life is in danger," he said without giving it much importance.

"Okay, I'll go look for our father. In the meantime, you could try to get in there, maybe because you are Morpheus you can have better luck," he proposed. And so, Sasuke did. As soon as Itachi said his words, Sasuke nodded assuring him that he would do so. And he disappeared.

It was strange, Sasuke always had access to every corner of the Dream World, and feeling like he couldn't enter the fantasy realm was like something out of the ordinary. It happened to him just like his brother had said. There was a force, most likely caused by another god, that prevented them from entering his brother's kingdom. Sasuke was worried, who knows what they had done to his brother this time. He could even be dead and none of them could know. Sasuke tried to break the barrier with the dark fire summoned by his eyes, but there was no luck. Then he tried with the rays that emerged from his left hand with such fury that it seemed like it was going to break, but nothing happened. He didn't want to waste any more energy, he got the message, he couldn't get through it.

Frustrated by all the recent events, he returned to the castle thinking about seeing Sakura and seeing what state she was in.

Sakura continued to rest, or at least try to, as she was still in pain from the wound that remained in her belly. When Sasuke carried her on his arms and she remained asleep, Karin treated her, as she was apparently a healing creature. Sakura did not know Karin's intentions very well since she had lied to her at first, so she did not trust her very much. Even tho she was grateful for healing her, as she was a doctor and could see the good work she had done.

She was awakened by the screams of the demon that had attacked her and witnessed the scene of Sasuke torturing that monster. She did not feel any pity for the fate of that creature, but she was terrified to see what Sasuke was capable of. She feared that at any moment if she contradicted him or did the opposite of his wishes, she would suffer the same fate. She went back to sleep ruminating on those thoughts.

Several hours passed before she woke up again. When she woke up, she felt confused, she had had another erotic dream with Sasuke and this time it was much more explicit. She was ashamed at the same time she felt aroused by the sensations that still remained in her body. She was ashamed because the last time she had seen him had been killing that creature, and even after all that her mind made her dream that. I am really fucked up, she thought.

On the other hand, Karin advised her to rest because the spell she had done healed the wound more if she remained asleep. When she woke up she barely noticed that she had any sign that she had been horribly wounded in the stomach. Sakura was beginning to think that she was indeed in the world of Dreams as Sasuke had told her multiple times. She began to resign herself to the fact that she was no longer in her world but in another one full of dangerous, magical and mysterious creatures. Anxiety resurfaced as she thought that she would probably never see anyone of her friends or family again. Her parents, her friends, her cats... She missed Naruto and Sai. Maybe she would ask Sasuke if she could have her cats there with her since she had a rather dependent attachment to her two felines. What girl with her cats doesn't have that?

Her constant thoughts were interrupted by someone knocking on the door, it was probably Karin checking to see how her wound had healed. When she invited her in, she saw that the person standing there looking at her stoically was someone totally different than Karin.

"Hello Sasuke," Sakura said when she saw him, her heart skipping a beat and a little embarrassed by what she had just dreamed about. Her feelings towards him were a rollercoaster, sometimes she felt mysteriously and intoxicatingly attracted to him, and other times she had an absolute rejection towards him. The constant ups and downs of her emotions were saturating her. Furthermore, his behavior towards her was equally confusing. Sometimes he was devoted and extremely protective of her, and other times he was surly and rude. He was showing his dominant side, perhaps a side he couldn't help because of who he was.

"How are you?" His voice was soft and showed genuine concern, all of which confused Sakura. A few hours ago, he had told her to leave the castle to discover for herself the horrible creatures that were there and then he had shown up angrily to rescue her. All of this exhausted Sakura, she was beginning to remember why she avoided relationships with the opposite sex.

"I'm much better thanks to Karin," she said, touching her belly. "I barely have a scar." The truth is that Karin's work had been perfect, she envied that Karin had such skill, unfortunately medicine was not so advanced in the mortal world.

Sasuke sat on bed next to Sakura, although keeping a noticeable distance, he didn't want to provoke rejection from her again. He remained calm for her, even though he was very angry about what had happened to him while he was sleeping, and because he almost lost her because of her stupid tantrum.

"I'm glad you're feeling better, I hope you'll pay more attention to me next time," of course, that part of him was still there, the one that showed dominance and superiority towards her. Sakura couldn't resist feeling anger inside her, despite knowing what he could be capable to do, she didn't like being spoken to in such a way as if she were a child.

"Excuse me? Who do you think you are to tell me what I should or shouldn't do?" Sasuke tensed his body, it was obvious that he was pretending to be calm, that was the real Sasuke, the arrogant and possessive one.

"The owner of the world to which you belong and who has absolute dominion over the creatures that live in it," he answered serious and holding her gaze. Even though he wanted Sakura, he couldn't let her question him. He was already feeling frustrated enough that someone other than him was manipulating his dreams, so now she was questioning him. The male ego was so fragile.

"So, you're telling me that I have no say? I have no independence in my actions?" she asked, almost shouting at him. She was very angry. Who did he think he was to take away the freedom that women had fought for so many years so that she would now be subject to a man.

"No, of course not. You have freedom of choice and free will, there are just things that I know are better for you," oh, of course, pure paternalism, Sakura thought.

"Nonsense. It's possible that I was wrong about one thing. I don't know this place, so once I get used to it and know better how all this works, there will be no more dangers. Not all the creatures in this world want to hurt me," she replied furiously. Sasuke let out an ironic laugh.

"And you're wrong again. For some reason all the creatures in this world feel a strong attraction towards you, and some confuse it with lust, as in the case of incubus," he explained as if she were a child, Sakura was beginning to hate that he treated her in such a way. It was possible he knew that place much better, but he had no reason to talk to her as if she were stupid.

"Look Sasuke, I want you to be clear about this," she said, gathering her courage, she did not know how that conversation could end, because if she was a whim of his, she knew that when he got bored of her, he would leave her to her fate, nothing mattered to Sakura anymore "It is likely that you are the owner of this place, and you have absolute control of those who live here. But I have never lived here and I do not know how it works so I am not going to follow your orders overnight. For me, you are a man who has brought me here, and is forcing me to stay against my will. Do you understand what I am trying to tell you?" Sakura's furious gaze never left Sasuke's dark eyes that now showed a different emotion. Sakura's heart was racing with fear of how he might react. He was so impulsive and unpredictable.

"I understand what you mean, and that is why the most prudent thing to do now is to follow my orders," he spoke calmly now, as if he wanted to give in, but his words were still the wrong ones. Still, he gave in "how could I make you feel more comfortable?" Well, that changed a bit, Sakura thought to herself, although the fact of following "his orders" irritated her.

"I would like to have my cats," she answered without thinking. She missed them, and that surprised Sasuke.

"Do you want your protectors? They are of no use here," he said, and Sakura showed confusion. My protectors?

"My protectors? No, I mean my two cats; Naruto and Sai, they must be alone in my apartment and probably very hungry," she thought worriedly.

"I don't think they're starving, I assure you," he replied with a smile that seemed all that amused him, "But well, if you want your protectors here, fine, although their function in the Dream World is irrelevant,"

"What do you mean?" she asked him confused as he kept referring to her two cats as "the protectors."

"Your two cats have been your protectors in the mortal world, they have protected you from the incubus and other creatures that have tried to attack you while you were sleeping, their function here no longer serves. And that's why you're with me because here no one will protect you better than me," of course, again, him, him, and more him. Sakura rolled her eyes once more. The arrogance of this man was infinite, she thought.

"Well, I don't care. I want them, and no one else," she said this time fixing him with her emerald eyes as if crawling.

"What do you mean by no one else?" Sasuke asked almost angrily, not liking what she was implying.

"Sasuke... I already told you that I don't need your constant protection. I can take care of myself. I'm old enough to know what's right and wrong," she replied, tired of going around in circles in the same conversation.

"Right, and do you want me to remind you how I found you the last time you told me that and I let you do whatever you wanted?" His anger was emerging again, this time he stood in front of her. Sakura began to fear that he would hit her, or worse.

"I've already learned my lesson, I'm not leaving here, satisfied? I never said I was leaving here, that's why I want my cats with me, at least give me that, damn it," she replied with such anger that several tears came out of her eyes and she stood in front of him, although the obvious difference in height made her feel a little small, but she was so angry that it didn't matter to her, she could face a lion with the fury she had inside. She was resigning herself, she had accepted his conditions of staying there, unless he gave her the power to decide what she wanted to do there in that prison. Sasuke looked at her almost amused, that part of Sakura pleased him, but he wasn't going to admit it and much less show it to her.

"Okay, so be it," he said as he turned around and left the room. Sakura's constant stubbornness frustrated and pleased him. Just as Sasuke's behavior was frustrating for Sakura, Sakura's behavior towards him was just as frustrating. She was the only woman who had ever spoken to him like that and challenged him, and dared to contradict and question him. In a way he hated it when others did it, but deep down it liked him. He liked her dominance and her ferocity.
