Ruby rose, no matter how tired, should be more aware of her surroundings. Even if she is in a place that could be considered 'Safe'. She didn't even notice Neo singing that one Fairly Odd Parents song! 'My Shiny Teeth and Me' Of course I looked away as soon as she started to strip while Neo scrubbed my fur with 3-in-1 as per my request. "You know they'd walk a mile, Just to see me smile, Woo! My shiny teeth and- Oh hey, Ruby?" Neo took it in stride, but her hands just worked through the knots in my fur and felt like a perfect back scratch.
"Can you pass the shampoo? Scrungo the Magnificent's fur needs more than I thought." She asked, even as Ruby looked at her out stretched hand with confusion. "I… What?" Ruby asked, though also handing her the requested item at the same time. Neo squirted a bit out onto her hand and continued to cover Scrungo in a heap of sudds, even as Tearwyn laughed and played with the ones she could pull off without interrupting Neo. "Wait! Why are you in our shower!"
Ruby asked in embarrassment, mind you it was a fair and balanced question like Crockets in TF2. "Ah… Noire was using ours and these two tagged along." Neo waved Ruby off and gestured to both Fou and Tearwyn as she started to rinse Fou off. "I'm also not exposing Tearwyn to anything above PG-13 by going in with Noir. That's why I'm wearing this." Neo casually explained as she rinsed off Fou's paws 1 by one.
"Hehehe~ But Ruby here isn't very PG-13" Tearwyn laughed as Ruby went atomic blush and tried to cover herself off. Neo's head snapped to the girl, "Gasp! Ruby! You're Naked!" she clapped her hands to her cheeks and pretend to look elsewhere. "I-I'm sorry!" The currently naked Rose closed her eyes and squirmed for a second before she almost face-planted into the tub when she heard Neo and Tearwyn start to giggle.
She looked up to see them both giving her an incredibly amused expression. That's when it hit her. "Wait… This is a Shower! MY Shower!" Ruby gained an angry look on her face, "Of course I'm naked!" She shouted indignantly at them, as Fou simply pat her foot with sympathy, causing her to shuffle back from the unexpected touch of the currently unseeing creature. "Okay, Okay," Neo placatingly raised her hands, as she stood up from crouching.
"We're done anyway, so we'll be getting out here. Don't take too long, though, I have things to explain to you and Noire will be here in a few minutes." Neo said as she stepped out of the shower and grabbed a large towel. "Enjoy your shower and try not to think of anything not PG-13" She picked up Fou and started to Dry him off as Tearwyn teleported to her shoulder on their way out the door.
"Well, that was amusing!" Fou earned a nod and grin from Neo, "She's funny! What a reaction that was…" Tearwyn snickered as she remembered the face Ruby made, that's when the rest of Ruby's team noticed the others in their room. "Oh shit!" Fou exclaimed as Weiss stopped Yang from speak by turning into a ballistic missile as she tried to grab and hug Tearwyn. Failing to grab the smoll lady, Weiss looked back to see Tearwyn's body turn wavy like a heat mirage for a second, and missed the interested look 3.0 Blake had seeing the Nine-Tailed being.
"Uh… Hey Neo?" Yang stifled a laugh, "Why were you in our bathroom" She snickered at the sight of Weiss continuing to try and touch the Fluffiness of Tearwyn. "My partner took our shower first so I borrowed yours" The mentioned lady just shrugged, pointed at herself, a white aura covered her a second before she was in a different outfit; A tasteful chocolate brown jacket with pink interior, two brown belt shoulder straps with twin grey button seams. Over all, she looked to be in her Post-Timeskip outfit and was rocking the look as she did a little hat tip to the rest of RWBY.
"Ah… Clothes beam is so useful" Neo nodded appreciatively, pointedly ignoring Weiss's attempts. "Why! Can't! I! HUG! YOU!?" said between attempts, yearning to hold the fluffy that gave cute and joyful laughs. "Hey! I WAS JUST WASHED!" Fou indignantly said as he was grabbed by the fuming Ice Queen, who thought he was a simple dog, and was petting him as she suppressed sequels of happiness despite his protest. "I love them…" She sighed in contentment as she rubbed his silky fluff against her face.
"And uh…" Yang pointed to Tearwyn, "Who are they? Friends of yours?" Her eyes flickered to Fou as she asked. "Yeah, this is Tearwyn… The Amazing" Neo held out the little amazing creature like she was Simba, Tearwyn puffed up her chest in pride before being returned to Neo's shoulder. "And Weiss over there is snuggling Scrungo the Magnificent" She finished with a sagely nod.
"Or you could just call him Fou." Blake added, having just walked in while drying her hair, "You just can't handle my awesome naming sense." Neo retorted but shook her head with a smile. "Yeah, that's it." Blake snapped back sarcastically, but had a cheeky grin plastered across her face.
"Nice to meet you~" Tearwyn waved and greeted them all, "Comfy…" Fou waved to them all as he was mushed into Weiss chest. "Back atcha, Foxy!" Yang Finger gunned Neo, before confusion took her facial features. "But not that it isn't cool to get guests…" She scratched the back of her head as she tried to find her words. "Why are you here so early?" Yang asked while ignoring her own black cat trying to steal the fluffy ball of white away from her Ice-queen of a teammate.
"I have an offer." Neo appeared on Yang's bed, "I'll be doing something important in a week, and I've been convinced this should involve you, due to the nature of it." She crossed her legs and leaned forward, resting her head on a hand as she let a smug look grace her lips at seeing Blake fail to steal Scrungo. "I'll go over more when Ruby comes out for the shower." Her eyes flickered to the door she entered from.
"Sounds Serious." Blake 3.0 having given up on fighting Weiss-Cream noted. "You'll see." Neo's own bellabooty, who emphasized her bust as she cross her arms, spoke up as her eyes locked onto Neo who idly played with Tearwyn's tails around her neck to make a scarf and getting a 'Not fair!' from 3.0 Weiss, much to the Little Lady's amusement.
A few minutes later, Ruby exited the shower and threw Neo a pouty face before plopping on the ground and turning away from her with an upturned head. "Oh, come now, It's nothing I didn't see literally yesterday." Neo flashed a demure smile as Ruby deflated from said fact. "I… guess that's true…" Ruby reluctantly admitted, her legs servos softly whiring as she turned to face Neo. "Okay, what did you want to tell us?" Ruby asked, slightly rocking back and forth on the floor.
"Well, first off, where's Arturia?" Neo asked her Blake, getting a shrug, "She wanted to shower after me. You also left some of- Fou tuned them out as a book appeared in front of him and was caught by his tail, getting a sequel out of Weiss as he started to read by holding the book with his tail and flipping the page with a paw.
The book he had chosen this time was on Homunculi. While the Einzbern Homunculi could be considered high quality goods, they weren't what interested Fou the most. Orlocke Caesarmund's Homunculus was what interested him the most, made from the man's own bodily materials it was quite simply a form of immortality. It would be taking his own personality and shoving it into a new body, but it would fundamentally be a different soul.
"Considering that the soul is something independent of the body and not belonging to the same material world…" Fou considered the information presented to him. "If one wanted to upgrade their own Magic Circuits, they wouldn't be able to do so with this method, even if they used the Einzbern method." He cross-referenced the 'Human Factors' and this book, "After all, the body is just a terminal for the soul to move around."
He paused, turning the page for a split second before gently closing the book and sending it back to his inventory. "For a Human Magus that is, I don't need to get better with my circuits, so theoretically if I made the body empty of mind and Soul… I could create a puppet for me to command." He reached a conclusion that he filed away for later as his attention was grabbed by Yang interrupting Neo.
"Alone? You'd do that to spare us all that?" She asked, Neo nodded unhesitantly as Fou refocused on the conversation. "Then we're coming with you." Ruby stood up and announced, her voice and body resolute as she got nods from the rest of her Team. "You don't exactly need to… I told you, I'd rather-" Neo was cut off again by Yang, who stepped forward and placed a finger on her lips. "Yeah, but that's why we gotta go." Yang replied, her team backing her up with smiles of their own.
"You're our friend, Neo." She got a wry smile from the multicoloured girl. "Alright fine." Neo stood up and crossed her arms with gusto, "If that's what you decided. But just know I'll be going on an excursion to find them in a week." Her hair lightly swayed as a small breeze wafted through the room. "If you wanna join? You Train. I'll clear you class spots with Ozpin, I'll make sure you won't just survive either." A serious grin took shape on her face as she stared down each resolute member of RWBY 3.0.
"We'll be winning. No! We'll be…" Her grin morphed wider, and yang gained starry eyes as she realized, "Tearwynning." Neo launched her pun with a downright deviously silly grin. Getting a collective groan from RWB_ and her Blake.
Tearwyn laughed and pat Neo's head with a thumbs up, Fou, having escaped Weiss's grip, was breakdancing in front of them all as yang gained a grin of her own and was pre-pared to unleash some DFP's of her own. "So, with all that said… Are you in for some training?" Neo's face changed to a calm smile that sent shivers up Blake's spine. "Give us everything you got!" Ruby jumped up and excitedly declared to her whole room.
"It's Sousuke Sagara training time." Neo muttered into the fluff of Tearwyn's tail, hiding her evil smile.
