Today my journey begins, I've been waiting so long for this, and like my brother before me I will journey through Unova with the goal of challenging the gyms and reach the league to fight for the title of champion.
I'll write down the rules of the League just so I don't forget them.
─Any Pokémon that faints during an official battle gets disqualified and cannot compete on future gym challenges or be part of the trainer's team for the League
─Healing items are allow during battle but you may only use the same amount the gym leader has use
─The Trainer must find and defeat every gym trainer before taking on the Gym Leader
─Once inside the gym there is no turning back until the Gym Leader has been defeated or the team of the trainer has been defeated
─The Trainer gets disqualify when all their registered Pokémon are disqualified, losing a team does not count as disqualified, it means they'll have to reach out and make a team with the Pokémon on their reserve if they still have any
With all that out of the way and with my trusty Mienfoo (Yan Qing) by my side I left my hometown with the goal of reaching Striaton City as soon as possible.
My first stop was in Accummula Town to stock on some pokeballs and a couple of potions for the trip, there I saw a group of people gather and as I got closer I saw a man giving a speech about liberating Pokémon, how we as humans only entertain the idea of being friends with Pokémon but in reality we made them fight and order them around, that a Pokémon's true potential was being limited by humans, I personally don't know as my journey is just starting but I look at Yan Qing and he looked at me with a proud smile shaking his head and then bumping his chest with his arm as if telling me not to worry.
I didn't pay any more attention to that man's speech and decided to continue with my Journey only to be interrupted by a trainer with green hair that introduces himself as En…Or would it be "N"? Never mind, thing was that he wanted to hear my Mienfoo's voice by battling, he sent a Purrloin which being a dark type of course was not match for Yan Qing who stood proud after the victory.
I have the feeling that this will not be the last time I'll see this mysterious "N"
After that little event I return to my journey towards Striaton City, on the way I catch a stray Mareep I named "Lan Fan" and I was attacked by a Spearow who I also catch and named "Gan", I've remember my brother saying that Striaton Gym leaders are a trio that normally test Trainers on their Knowledge of the type advantages by challenging with the Pokémon who has advantage to their starting Pokémon, but… I didn't start with any of the classic starter Pokémon the Proffessor Juniper gives to starting Trainers, Mienfoo has been with me for a couple of years since I hatched his egg so of course I'd take him as my starter to this adventure, I wonder how the Gym Leaders would react and how the fight would go…
