Shadows in the streets!

MC looks at each of the girls, weighing his options.

He glances at Natsuki for a moment. 'I could go out with Natsuki to find out if she genuinely dislikes me or not, but perhaps she doesn't want to even be near me right now. I'll leave her alone for the moment...'

MC glances over at Sayori for a second. 'I could go out with Sayori to properly catch up after all this time, but the whole reason she wanted me to be here is because she wanted me to socialize more, not to mention that I know her more than anyone else here. Maybe later...'

MC looks at Monika, suppressing a sarcastic smile. 'Monika? Hah! As if! Even the question itself is ridiculous! She's like, completely and utterly out of my league. I'd just be embarrassing myself by going out with someone her level. I guess I can still go to her in case I need help or advice, but I'm not even gonna bother trying to socialize with her. I'm sure she has more important stuff to do than pay attention to little old me anyways...'

MC looks at Yuri with a more relaxed expression. 'I guess that means I'll go out with Yuri. She's been pretty kind to me despite me not being as well-informed on martial arts as her, so I don't see what could go wrong.'

MC looks at the four girls with a smile. "Right... I guess... I'll start by going out with Yuri today."

Monika smiles happily.

Natsuki crosses her arms and looks away.

Sayori smiles, though MC notices that Sayori's smile seems a bit forced.

Yuri simply stares at MC with a genuinely surprised expression. "Huh? Makoto... Are you sure?"

MC nods. "I am."

Monika puts her hands together. "Excellent! Yuri, Makoto, you'll be patrolling the slums North from here."

Yuri looks at Monika with the same surprised expression before looking back at MC with a smile. "Understood."

Monika looks at Natsuki and Sayori. "As for you two, you're both going to the housing units to the East. Got it?"

Natsuki shrugs while Sayori looks at Monika with a confused expression. "Monika, what about you?"

Monika looks to the side. "I'll scout the shopping mall to the West. I heard the criminal rate in that area is going up. I'll be careful so don't worry about me, alright?"

Sayori frowns. "If you say so..."

Monika smiles again. "Good luck, everyone! Remember to not engage unless it's absolutely necessary. See you back here in an hour!"

The club members nod before stepping out of the warehouse, going their separate ways.

Sayori looks back at MC and Yuri one last time before following Natsuki with her gaze fixated on the floor.

Some minutes later, Yuri and MC find themselves on the northern slums. The air is thick with the stench of decay, a blend of rotting garbage, stagnant water, and smoke from makeshift fires. The streets are uneven, littered with broken bottles, rusted metal, and the remnants of discarded lives- old mattresses, shattered furniture, and soggy cardboard boxes that serve as shelters for the homeless. The buildings themselves are weathered and dilapidated, their walls peeling with faded paint and graffiti. Many of the windows are cracked or boarded up, letting little light into the cramped interiors.

Amid the despair, small fires burn in rusted metal barrels, offering meager warmth to those huddled around them. Conversations are muted, filled with quiet murmurs and the occasional outburst of frustration. A few stray dogs weave in and out of the alleyways, their fur matted and thin as they search for scraps of food. Some people look up at Yuri and MC as they walk by them, but many simply keep looking down. The most prominent sound is the sound of Yuri's heels as they click on the sidewalk with each step she takes.

MC whispers close to Yuri. "Wow... I've never been to these parts of town before... Was the situation always THIS bad around here?"

Yuri keeps walking and looking for any signs of trouble, though she spares a few pitied glances at the people below her. "It's certainly gotten worse in more recent times, but this area has always been partially ignored by the government and the authorities."

"And... Do you think we'll get mugged?"

"I doubt it, but we shouldn't lower our guards. Most people around here are too sunk in their own desperation that they'd be willing to do anything in order to survive. Still, the people around here are mostly sickly families and forgotten old men. We are more than capable of defending ourselves if someone tries to take us by surprise."

MC lets out a small, quiet sigh. "This is awful..."

Yuri nods. "Indeed it is. At the end of the day, these are people who are just like us. We are all born equal, but everything changes afterwards. These people could be doing amazing deeds for the world if they had their chance for all we know, but fate had other plans for them."

"Right... Well... At least we're able to do something for them..."

Yuri smiles softly. "You're right, Makoto. These people will be safe as long as we're still breathing."

MC nods again. "Hey... I know this is a bit out of the topic, but... I want to ask you something..."

Yuri looks back at MC with a raised eyebrow. "Oh? What is it?"

"It's about your friend Natsuki..."

"Natsuki?"

"I... I think you saw how she was treating me back at the warehouse..."

Yuri rolls her eyes. "Yes, I think we all did. She went overboard."

"Well... Do you think she hates me?"

Yuri looks at MC with wide eyes. "Makoto, is that what you really think? Why would you...?" But, looking back at the events that unfolded at the warehouse, Yuri rubs her chin in aknowledgment. "Huh... I guess I see why you'd believe that."

MC nods. "I know, right? She seemed pretty mad at me for some reason. Did I do something that made her mad?"

Yuri shakes her head. "Makoto, you didn't do anything wrong. Natsuki is... Well... She might come off as a brat or someone with no depth to her character at first, but she's a little more complicated than that. She is a person with issues, just like all of us to some extent. She was probably having a bad day."

MC looks to the side. "I don't know... It almost looked like she wanted to get me rejected on purpose..."

Yuri smiles at MC. "I know Natsuki was a bit aggressive, but she's a really nice girl when you get to know her. I bet you'd get along with her with time. Just give her some more time to get accustomed to your presence, Makoto. I'm sure you two will become great friends eventually."

"If you say so..."

Then, the conversation trails off, with neither Yuri or MC knowing what to say.

After a minute of silence, Yuri decides to speak up, doing so in a slightly nervous tone. "Makoto... Do you... like... books?"

MC looks at Yuri with a surprised expression, trying to hide his nervousness. Sure, he had read a couple of books before, but reading wasn't one of his favorite hobbies. Besides, judging by everything he's learned about Yuri so far, she's probably an expert in that field as well. What to say to someone like her?

MC chuckles awkwardly. "I... Uhh... I do..."

Yuri nervously looks at MC. "What... genre do you like to read the most?"

"I... like... fantasy...?"

"Is that a question...?"

MC sighs. "I'm... not that much of a reader. I'm sorry, Yuri... I didn't want to disappoint you..."

Yuri nervously puts her hands in front of MC reassuringly. "N-No, no! I'm not disappointed! I wanted to talk with you a little more, that's all!"

MC blushes slightly. 'Oh God... How is she being so cute without meaning to? And... How am I failing so badly at a simple conversation?! She might as well be talking to a rock! Come on, Makoto! Just ask HER!'

MC chuckles awkwardly. "That's fine, Yuri! I like the gesture! Say... What do YOU like to read the most?"

Yuri looks at MC with a blank expression before her eyes fix on the road ahead of herself, deep in thought. "Me? Well, let's see... Like you, my favorites are usually novels that build deep and complex fantasy worlds. The level of creativity and craftsmanship behind them is amazing to me, and telling agood story in such a foreign world is equally impressive... Though, if I'm being honest with myself, my favorite genders also encompass horror and mystery..."

MC watches in admiration as Yuri rambles on. It was clear to him that Yuri was the type of person that found comfort in the world of books rather than people, and it showed on her speech about her passion for reading. He felt honored to be walking alongside a girl as smart as her.

However, MC also felt... a little humilliated. Yuri TRULY could have been talking to a rock and it wouldn't have been much different from the current situation. Yuri was an expert in martial arts and books. What was HE an expert in? Games? Anime?

Yuri would laugh in his face if she found out how ridiculous he really was.

He already thought that Monika was way out of his league, but perhaps that wasn't even a very high bar to surpass.

MC decides to stay quiet while listening to Yuri.

Yuri keeps walking and talking at the same time, focused on her favorite hobby moreso than in the sidewalk. "Still, I like a lot of things. Stories with deep psyhological elements usually immerse me as well. It's amazing when a writer deliberately takes advantage of your own lack of imagination to throw you for a loop. I recently picked up a book called 'The portrait of Markov', in which the protagonist is-"

Suddenly, a loud crashing sound makes the couple jolt in surprise. It sounded like a large glass had been broken.

MC's eyes go wide. "What the heck was that?!"

Yuri takes a second to regain her composure. "We should check it out in case someone is in trouble."

MC nods before the couple run towards the direction the sound had come from.

After twenty seconds, MC and Yuri arrive at a small bakery, where they see five men about to break in through the display window.

MC raises his eyebrows. "Do we intervene?"

Yuri nods, glaring at the thieves. "Absolutely. They seem to be attempting to break in because the owner isn't there at the moment. The bakery needs help right here and now."

The thieves turn their heads and spot both Yuri and MC stepping closer to them. The tallest man steps in front of his comrades while glaring down at the couple. "Who are this hussy and this weenie?"

Yuri steps in front of MC. "Well, well, what do we have here? This is no place for wanderers. You're in our territory now. Are you lost, perhaps? I'm the person responsible for these streets. State your business, if it isn't too much trouble."

The thug scoffs with a smirk. "You've got some gall, young miss. Don't interfere if you know what's best for you."

Yuri calmly grabs the handle of her sword, preparing herself for combat if it comes down to it. "Robbing a bakery, aren't you? I can direct you to a shelter if you need food that badly."

The thug shrugs and goes back to the window. "Shove it, girl."

Yuri looks back at MC with a small glare to indicate that confrontation will probably be inevitable before turning back to the group of thieves with an angrier expression. "Step away from the window or else..."

The thug scowls at Yuri as he pulls out a knife. "Or else what?"

Then, Yuri activates her umbrakinesis. In a swift move, a dark tentacle shoots out of her shadow and slaps the knife out of the thug's grasp.

The thug grunts, feeling a slight burning sensation on his wrist. "Agh! Kill them!"

The rest of the thugs dash towards the couple in response.

MC steps in front of Yuri and launches a powerful kick towards the midsection of the nearest thug, who doubles over in pain after feeling his chest tremble.

Yuri jumps into the air, over MC and towards the other thugs. With one swift move, Yuri's boot slices through the air with a sharp crack before her heel makes contact with another thug's forehead, sending him stumbling backwards.

Yuri lands on her feet with a soft thud, and she stands with her back glued to MC's as the remaining three thugs surround them.

Yuri whispers to MC. "Sorry you had to experience this on your first day, Makoto..."

MC smirks. "Don't worry about it. I'm proud to be here."

Then, a thug launches himself towards MC and Yuri, who sidestep quick as lightning, their bodies twisting with almost unnatural speed as they avoid the blow. MC counters with a quick spinning kick aimed at the thug's temple, which sends the thug reeling back when it connects.

Two thugs launch themselves at Yuri, who immediately activates her power to summon a shadow snare from under one of the thugs' feet, rooting him to his spot. As the other thug closes in on Yuri, she swiftly draws her sword and slices cross-wide in front of her as a warning to the thief. The man recoils in surprise and grasps his stomach, and upon feeling a wet sensation on his hand, he puts his hand in front of his face to discover a small fresh stain of blood trailing down his fingers.

Then, Yuri rushes towards the immobilized thug and lands a swift kick aimed at his chest, sending him reeling back.

The men stagger backwards, close to the first two thugs in surprise and concern. The tallest thug speaks again, rubbing the red spot on his wrist. "Who the hell are you?!"

Yuri stares at the thieves with a firm, unyielding expression. "We are the Doki Fighting Club and this territory is under our protection."

The thug kicked by Yuri rubs his forehead as he gets up, joining his accomplices in their anger and doubt. "Who the hell do you think you are to think you can get in our way or judge our actions, huh?!"

MC stands beside Yuri, who keeps staring at the thieves with the same firm expression. "I'm a girl no different than any other girl, which is why I'm not judging you, but I can't allow you to rob an innocent person's business."

The tallest thug speaks again. "YOU feel bad? HAH! Don't make me laugh, missy! Have you looked around AND at yourself? This place is a mess and you're walking around brandishing some expensive weapon dressed in fancy clothes! You're just some rich daddy's girl to me. I bet you have never known what it's like to be hungry for days or to see your family suffer many illnesses because you don't have money!"

Yuri flinches slightly, taken aback by the thug's statement but refusing to let up.

Yuri tries to find the correct words to speak. "You're right. The only difference between you and me is that I was born in a well-accomodated family while you weren't. I'm sorry that fate had other plans for you, but your past doesn't justify your actions in the present."

The thug rubbing his forehead scoffs. "Yeah, right. You're just another girl who hurries past homeless people, not even sparing a glance towards the little people with no home crying on the streets. We're the 'bad guys' because you 'protect' these parts of town while we have to steal in order to survive!"

Before Yuri can protest, MC steps in front of her with a firm yet understanding expression. "We get what you're saying. You've been through hell. I can't imagine what it's been like for you or your family. And you're right... We haven't lived your life. We won't pretend we understand everything you've been through. But I do know this: actions like those? They eat at you."

The thugs stare at MC with curiosity while Yuri looks at him with admiration.

MC squints his eyes. "We're standing here in front of you because we want to protect people from abusers and to stop violence on the streets. We could be protecting you too if you'd let us. We also believe that people can change their stories. You're doing what you can to survive, I get that. But the path you're on… it's not going to help you or the people you care about. It's only going to lead to more violence. First you'll rob this bakery and try to justify it, then you'll rob lonely people on the streets with less guilt, and eventually you'll become so distanced from humanity you'll lose it entirely."

MC extends his hand to the thugs. "Let us help. Not as some rich people looking down on you, but as people like you who believe you don't have to go down this road anymore."

The thugs stare at MC's hand for a moment...

... Before turning around and walking away, shrugging and looking annoyed.

"Ugh... What is UP with that guy?"

"I know. He lives in another planet."

"So stupid..."

As the thugs leave, MC lowers his hand before letting out a sigh.

After a minute, Yuri pokes MC's shoulder. When MC turns around to meet her gaze, he sees that Yuri is smiling and blushing slightly. "Makoto, that was... Wow..."

MC rubs the back of his head sheepishly. "Ah, sorry... I got a little too caught up in the moment, didn't I?"

Yuri shakes her head. "Not at all! You were fantastic! Why, you are a lot better than me when it comes to talking and expressing yourself!"

MC chuckles. "You're giving me too much credit, Yuri. If anything, I'd say you are the expert when it comes to talking about your passions."

Yuri blushes some more, tapping her heel on the ground to appear more composed. "My passions, huh? Well... Maybe so, but I could have never been able to say something nearly as beautiful as what you said some moments ago!"

"Well, I was just being honest and speaking from my heart. I meant every word I said, Yuri. I know it was probably wishful thinking when I said we'd help them ourselves, but if I could, I'd do it. Those guys were doing what they did in order to survive, and I can't blame them for that."

"Indeed... Speaking of which, perhaps we should leave. The owner of the bakery could come back any minute and think that we were the ones who broke the window."

MC looks at the broken window for a second before nodding. "Good idea. Let's book it to the next street!"

Then, the couple run for a solid minute, feeling both guilt and happiness at once. Upon reaching the next street, Yuri and MC let out a small sigh.

Yuri looks at MC with a small frown. "I feel bad for the owner... I wish we could have stopped those thugs before they broke his window..."

MC shrugs. "Well, at least we stopped them before they could steal all his savings. I'm more surprised at how no one made a big deal out of our fight with those guys. I mean, we practically fought them publicly."

Yuri smiles softly at MC. "I don't think it's that far-fetched, Makoto. If the government barely aknowledges these parts of town, it's no wonder no policemen showed up. Plus, it's late afternoon and most people are already at home preparing themselves for tomorrow. I think barely anyone saw us."

MC chuckles. "I'll believe you."

Yuri blushes again and extends her right hand to MC. "Makoto... Do you want to... keep talking while we do the rest of our patrol?"

MC takes Yuri's hand nonchalantingly. "Sure! I like talking to you, Yuri! Let's go!"

Yuri smiles, trying to hide the blush on her cheeks as she walks alongside MC, letting her fingers intertwine with his.

After a moment, MC speaks up. "Hey, Yuri..."

Yuri looks at MC with a soft smile, trying to not blush so much. "Yes, Makoto...?"

"I... I think I wanna ask you something else..."

"You can ask me anything, Makoto."

"Well... I'm a bit curious about the club. I mean... How did Monika start this club in the first place? How did she get you three to join? Were you all willing to join in despite knowing that something like what just happened could happen at any moment?"

Yuri's blush disappears completely as she puts the index finger from her left hand to her chin, thinking about MC's question in detail. "Ah... If I remember correctly, the club was formed three weeks ago. I remember being alone in a classroom, reading one of my favorite novels in silence when I heard the door open. Monika stepped in and asked me if I could meet her at a certain location after school."

MC raises an eyebrow, letting out a small chuckle. "Did she? Wow, that's not suspicious at all."

Yuri chuckles softly in response. "It was strange to me too, but I decided to not question her. She IS Monika, after all. I met up with her at the abandoned warehouse we now use as a clubroom, though she was waiting for me alongside two girls I didn't know. In there, Monika proposed the idea of forming the Doki Fighting Club to us, delivering a passionate speech about her love for this town in the process."

MC smiles. "I see... I imagine the other girls were Natsuki and Sayori, am I right?"

Yuri nods. "Indeed. In fact, I was confused at Monika's reasons to gather US three in particular at first, but Monika told us that she knew we all had a special talent for martial arts, which is why she asked us to form the club with her."

MC looks to the side briefly. "You know... I've known Sayori for a long time, but I never knew she liked martial arts... or that she'd like to join a club like this one."

"I don't know Natsuki's or Sayori's reasons to join, but in the end, we all decided to join because of our love for martial arts."

MC smiles again. "Oh? What got YOU into martial arts and this club in particular, Yuri?"

Yuri looks to her side, trying to avoid MC's gaze out of embarrassment. "Ah... My... My story is... not as interesting as you think, Makoto..."

MC smiles reassuringly. "Hey, I don't judge. Please tell me, Yuri. This genuinely interests me."

Yuri takes a small breath to calm herself before continuing. "Well... I remember being alone most of the time when I was younger. I've never been the most social person, so I started to look for comfort in other places. I picked up martial arts as a way to discharge my pent up energy, and I looked for ways to become an expert since I foolishly thought that'd make more people want to be around me..."

MC frowns. "Yuri... I... I'm so sorry..."

Yuri shakes her head. "Don't be sorry, Makoto. In the end, I managed to become a great fighter skilled in ninjutsu, but I still felt like I could be doing much more... When Monika offered me the chance to join this club I knew this was it. This club gave me a chance to use one of my passions for the greater good, even if it leads me to danger. This club is a place where I feel like I won't be judged by my passions, and in which there are more people like me..."

MC smiles. "I'm glad, Yuri."

Yuri chuckles. "Thanks. I don't regret joining the Doki Fighting Club. I sometimes get into small arguments with Natsuki over our fighting styles, but I wouldn't change her for anything because she understands me and she's helped me to become stronger. Monika has been a total sweetheart to me and has made sure that none of us ever feels left out. Sayori has been an absolute dear to me... I sometimes worry about her when we have to spar because I don't want to hurt such a sweet soul, but she's been nothing but encouraging to me..."

MC looks to the side with a small frown. "I see what you mean... Sayori is a great person, isn't she? I don't want her to get hurt either..."

"Sayori is quite the fighter, Makoto. Her moves are as graceful as a talented dancer, and her blows are as strong as a bull. Perhaps she had her reasons to not tell you about her training."

"Eh... I don't know... Sayori and I used to share everything with the other, but we've been drifting away for the last year or so..."

Yuri frowns. "Oh... I... I'm sorry to hear that, Makoto..."

MC shakes his head. "Don't mention it. I'll have to talk to Sayori eventually to properly catch up. Say... What about Monika?"

"Monika?"

"Yeah. I mean, I was in the same class as her last year and I never knew she liked martial arts... or that she disliked the current state of the city so much."

Yuri looks at the ground with a small smile. "Hm. You shouldn't be surprised about the former, Makoto. She IS Monika, isn't she? She is probably more desirable than Natsuki, Sayori and me put together. She is smart, beautiful, athletic... Of course she'd also be interested in martial arts. In fact, none of us have managed to beat her in a fight."

MC chuckles. "Sounds about right. And yet... I could have never guessed that she'd do something like this to protect the city."

Yuri nods. "I understand. Monika... Well... She is a little secretive at times. We all look up to her to guide us, and yet... It seems like she always keeps secrets from us. We don't know much about her except what she tells us."

MC looks at the floor with a pensive expression. "Do you think... she feels sad?"

Yuri looks at MC with a surprised expression. "Sad?"

MC nods. "Yeah. I mean, if she is trying her hardest to be perfect then she must be hiding her true feelings, don't you think?"

Yuri looks back at the floor with a thoughtful expression, though she feels skeptical at MC's question. "I doubt it, but I see your point. Monika is a difficult person to read, but I doubt she'd hide her feelings from us."

MC looks back at the sidewalk. "If you say so..."

Then, the couple spend the remaining thirty minutes walking through the slums hand in hand, with Yuri doing most of the talking. MC had never felt so relieved to listen to Sayori's advice as he did now. If he hadn't, then he wouldn't have met Yuri and what made her the special person that she is.

Things were definitely looking up for him.

Eventually, afternoon fell for the couple unbeknownst to them, and when Yuri finally noticed it, she let out a soft sigh.

"Wow... It's even later than I anticipated..."

MC looks at the sky for a moment before looking at Yuri with a worried expression. "I think I should head home... Yuri, can you do me a solid and report what happened today to the girls?"

Yuri frowns softly. "Do you need to leave?"

MC nods. "I do. I still need to do my homework."

Yuri sighs again. "I understand. Though, now that you mention it, perhaps you'll need to organize your time now that you're in the club. I'd recommend doing your homework while you're at school before coming to the clubhouse. And also, I'd recommend packing another set of clothes exclusively for the club. It's a miracle that your uniform isn't too roughed up after your fight with Natsuki and our encounter with those thugs."

MC looks at his uniform for a moment before chuckling. "Right. I'll have to iron it too before tomorrow..."

Yuri smiles. "Very well, then. I'll let the girls know what happened today. See you tomorrow, Makoto!"

"See you tomorrow, Yuri!"

MC smiles and waves at Yuri before turning around to run home.

Four hours later...

MC yawns as he lies down on his bed. Today was a bit tiring, but his body just had to get accustomed to this new routine.

He tried his best to do his homework, though in the end he had barely managed to do the bare minimum to get it done.

He couldn't help it. These past few hours, his mind had wandered back and forth between the four girls:

Sayori, the cheerful ray of sunshine.

Natsuki, the cute and fiery fighter.

Yuri, the elegant swordswoman.

And of course, the smart and beautiful Monika.

MC frowns slightly. 'Will I really be happy spending every single day after school in a fighting club? Though, I managed to get closer to Yuri today... Maybe I just have to make the most of my circumstances and good fortune will find me. That starts tomorrow.'

MC snuggles his pillow to get some sleep...

But...

For some reason, his pillow feels uncomfortably warm.

'What the...? I just laid down! Why is it so warm?'

MC flips his pillow to feel the other side, but upon doing so, he feels the other side warm up instantly.

'Huh? It was cold a second ago...'

MC lifts his head from the bed and looks at his pillow. It was then that he finally noticed that his face felt hot.

'What the...? Ugh! Why do I feel like this? This is so annoying!'

MC squirms under his blanket, unsuccessfully trying to feel some sort of cold, either from the breeze coming from the window or from the air his movements generated.

'No... I... can't... REST!'

MC throws his blanket to the side softly out of frustration.

But to his surprise, the blanket crashes against the wall as if he had thrown it at full force. A loud thud sound is made when the blanket falls on the floor.

MC's eyes widen. 'Woah... Did I do that?'

MC stands up from the bed and turns on the lights before walking over to the blanket. When he picks it up, he tosses is towards his bed softly to hopefully fall asleep once and for all.

However, the blanket crashes against the bed and a loud sound is heard yet again.

MC opens his mouth wide. 'What the heck?!'

Then, MC looks to the side and spots his punching bag right beside his window.

Out of curiosity, MC steps close to the bag and puts on a fighting stance. 'Right... Just one small punch...'

MC swiftly extends his arm to deliver a small, soft punch.

But upon doing so, his fist breaks the punching bag entirely and its remains fly out of the window, making a loud crashing sound when the window is broken.

MC looks at his fist in shock, and then, he notices that his fist had a small blue glow emanating from inside his veins. After a moment, the glow vanishes.

MC's eyes couldn't be more wide. 'Woah! Is this... what Monika talked about? But if it is, then that means that... I... I... I HAVE POWERS TOO!'

MC smiles excitedly. "YEAAAAAH!"

Then, MC hears a knocking sound on his door and a female voice from the othe side. "Honey, what was that?!"

MC looks at the door nervously. "Ah... Nothing, mom! I... Uhh... I knocked over something by accident!"

"Thank goodness... Just make sure to clean it up, okay?"

MC looks to his room again and sees the remaining sand from his punching bag as well as some broken glass scattered on the floor before letting out a small sigh. "Yeah..."
