Bam!
The loud thud of a Bakugan crashing down the floor as Pyrus Falconeer went back into ball form. Cheers were heard as the Commentator spoke.
Commentator: This is incredible! Without losing a single Bakugan, this girl shows that she is someone that you wouldn't want to mess with!
It was true as in every single match the opponents Bakugan dropped on the floor one by one.
The 14 year old girl standing there with a hand on her hip was none other than Aria Grace. She has long blonde hair and blue eyes as well as fair skin. She wears a white crop top that exposes her waist and a sleeveless jean jacket. She wears short jeans and white ankle boots. She also has a black choker on her neck.
Aria: We've done well so far. Right, Kyubis?
The beautiful girl addressed to her Bakugan whose silhouette is covered in shadows, but her beauty and power can be radiated from here as her blue eyes glowed.
Episode 4: Two lost Dragons and a Fox
-Snack Bar, BBT Stadium, Wardington, Earth-
A while after Jay's fight with Runo ended, he and Dan sat together as they were having a conversation while drinking soda. Their Bakugan, Drago and Leonidas, were currently having a conversation, if Leonidas isn't being difficult.
Dan: Is it okay for you to chill before your match with Marucho?
Jay: It will be a while before my final match with Marucho begins. This gives me a chance to see her fight.
This made Dan curious as he didn't know if Jay had other friends.
Dan: Really? Who is she then?
Jay: Her name is Aria Grace. She's a childhood friend of mine.
Dan's jaw immediately slacked when he heard that name.
Dan: WHAT?! YOU FRIENDS WITH… (Muffled voice)...
Jay quickly covered Dan's mouth with his hand.
Jay: Not so loud! We don't want any attention, got it?
Jay was right as many lookers turned to them when they heard Dan shout, but then decided to go back to their daily things. Jay let go of Dan's mouth as the Pyrus Brawler looked incredulous at him.
Dan: I can't believe you know Aria Grace! She's the daughter of famous singer Adiago Grace!
Dan spoke as silently as he could. Jay looked around before starting to explain his story to Dan.
Jay: I met Aria back when I was a little young.
-Flashback-
-Park, Wardington, Earth-
Sitting all alone on a swing was a young Jay. The boy had a few bruises on his face. He's gotten bullied by the big kids and sat alone in the swing. He stayed there until the skies turned orange… but then out of nowhere he felt someone push the swing he was sitting on.
Jay: Huh?
As he swung back down someone stopped the swing, which he turned around and saw a young Aria who is 2 years older than him.
Aria: Hi! Sorry I surprised you! It's just that you were alone, so I came to say hi.
Jay: Oh… okay, then…
Jay didn't expect someone to approach him, it is then that Aria took notice of his bruises.
Aria: Hey, are you okay?
Jay: Yeah… it's just a scratch.
Aria hummed a little before looking at Jay with a smile.
Aria: Hey, do you wanna be my friend?
Jay was surprised at her for asking him that, but nodded happily.
A moment later, Jay's Mother came looking for her son.
Her name is Vanessa and she has long, brown hair that reaches her waist. She wears a red shirt with long sleeves and long, tight jeans with blue home shoes.
She was worried as she didn't find Jay at the place where she usually picked him up. She entered the park to search for him until she heard the sound of a swing and laughter.
She saw Jay playing on the swing, but was then surprised when she saw a girl standing on the swing where Jay sat on. She was the one making the swing move as she looked down at Jay smiling. Vanessa was surprised to see Jay having fun in quite a while.
-End of Flashback-
After that, she and her Mom sometimes visit us at our home. But the visits stopped once their popularity grew. I still was able to talk to her though.
Dan let this all sink in.
Dan: Wow. Who would have thought. So what kind of Brawler is Aria by the way?
Jay: She's a Haos Brawler, and a very good one since she climbed the ranks real fast. Her partner Bakugan is Haos Kyubis.
Drago: Did you just say Kyubis?!
Drago was surprised to hear that name.
Dan: Do you know something about Kyubis, Drago?
Drago: The Kyubis are the most elusive Bakugan of all. They always appear and disappear, and no one's been able to find one unless they reveal themselves.
Leonidas: Sounds like a cowardly Bakugan if all they can do is vanish.
Drago: I disagree, Leonidas. Kyubis are incredibly powerful Bakugan. They possess pure strength and power, just as they possess pure beauty, or so I have heard.
Kyubis: That's nice of you to say that, Dragonoid.
Hearing that heavenly femenine voice, Drago and Leonidas realized that Kyubis herself was standing right in between them.
Drago/Leonidas: AAAAH!
Dan and Jay were just as surprised as their Bakugan at seeing Kyubis appear out of nowhere.
Dan: Where did she come from?!
Jay: Kyubis?
The Fox Bakugan turned to Jay to address him.
Kyubis: Hi there, Jay. Good to see you in person.
Jay: Wait. If you are here, then that means…
Aria: That I'm right behind you?
Dan and Jay turned around and indeed it was Aria wearing sunglasses and a hat that she hid her hair well. She pointed to a certain corner as she wanted to speak with them there.
After a moment, Jay, Dan, Aria are in a quiet hall that doesn't have many people walking there, which is perfect for the conversation.
Jay: It's good to see you again, Aria.
Aria: Same, Jay. And you must be Dan, right?
Dan: Yep! I've gotta say, I was surprised that you and Jay are friends! The others wouldn't believe me if I told them.
Aria just giggled at that.
Aria: It's not surprising why. By the way, when I'm hiding from others, call me Ayame.
She then brought out her hand where partner Bakugan is.
Aria: And this girl here is Kyubis.
Kyubis: Hello, my name is Kyubis, and now that we're face to face, it's nice to meet you, Leonidas.
Leonidas: …
Leonidas didn't respond as he just watched the Fox Bakugan, who then turned to Drago.
Kyubis: And the gentleman Dragonoid there is Drago, am I right?
Drago: Uh… yes.
The Dragonoid feels a little flustered at how polite she was talking. It's like she's flirting with him even though that wasn't her intention.
Jay: So what are you doing here, Aria? What about your battle?
Aria: Oh, it will start in a few minutes. I decided to use the chance to catch up some time with you.
Jay: He, I had the same idea! I can't wait to meet the others as well.
That caught Dan's attention.
Dan: Aria isn't the only person you chat with in the Bakulog, right?
Jay: Yep. I've made many interesting friends there.
Jay then started to tell the friends he had made chatting online.
Jay: There's Sam Masayoshi. If I recall, he lives in the same Town Julie lives in. He's a Subterra Brawler, and likes Cowboys and Dinosaurs.
Jay: Next there's Arata Narumi. He lives close by the sea and is both an Aquos Brawler and Surfer.
Jay: And lastly is Sophie Hane the Ventus Brawler. And believe it or not she is training to be a Ninja in the Kazami Dojo and knows Shun as well.
After hearing that Dan was impressed at Jay's collection of friends.
Dan: Man, you have some interesting friends… Wait? Don't you have a Darkus Brawler?
Jay: No actually.
Now Dan was surprised about that.
Dan: Well what do you know? My team has yet to have a Darkus Brawler to complete our group.
Aria then took out something from her pocket and presented them to the two.
Aria: Anyway… I also wanted to give you this.
Jay and Dan took a look and were surprised at what it was.
Jay: Are these…
Dan: V.I.P. pases?! Now way!
Aria: I wanted to give you one so you can enjoy my battle. And I brought an extra in case you want to watch with a friend.
She was referring to Dan as the boy was excited.
Dan: This is neat! I didn't want to ask Marucho for a V.I.P for obvious reasons! Now we can watch the battle in luxury!
Dan pumped his fist in the air in excitement… Unfortunately, he knocked out Aria's hat which let her long blue hair fall down… and even more unfortunate was that it happened at the wrong moment.
Bystander: Look! It's Aria Grace!
Dan, Jay, and Aria looked at the bystander who took notice of them, or more specifically, Aria.
Dan: Oh boy…
In a matter of seconds, a swarm of Aria fans came as they surrounded, asking her for a selfie or an autograph.
Aria: Alright, alright! One at a time, please!
As that happened, Jay and Dan were expelled from the swarm of fans… after being trampled by them.
Dan: Ouch…
Jay: Urgh…
Both their faces were planted on the ground as Aria attended her fans.
After a while, all the fans left after meeting Aria, leaving her with Jay and Dan alone.
Jay: Man, that was crazy!
Aria: It was kinda overwhelming the first time, but later it's manageable.
Dan: Guess life as an idol isn't as easy as I thought huh Drago?
Dan didn't get a response and when he looked at his shoulder, Drago wasn't there!
Dan: Huh?! Where did Drago go?!
Dan started to look around, but then Jay and Aria noticed Drago wasn't the only one missing.
Jay: Leonidas! Where are you?
Aria: I don't see Kyubis anywhere!
At that moment they both realized something.
Dan, Jay, and Aria: OUR BAKUGAN ARE MISSING!
-Toystore, BBT Stadium, Wardington, Earth-
Inside one of the many stores that are in the stadium, there was one who was selling toys. Some of them are dolls from different Bakugan. There was also a land model featuring mountains and Towns. There were also a few toy models of Bakugan in closed ball form for them… except they weren't toys as they opened up to reveal Leonidas, Kyubis, and Drago as they looked around.
Leonidas: How did we end up here?
-Flashback-
Bystander: Look! It's Aria Grace!
As the swarm of fans surrounded Aria and pushed the boys away, all those movements caused Drago, Leonidas, and Kyubis to fall from their partners shoulders, and they were being kicked and pushed by the fans feet until they were sent flying very far from the crowd.
Drago, Leonidas, Kyubis: AAAAAAAAH!
They landed back on the ground safely in ball form. They opened back up as they tried to get back to their senses.
Drago: Man, I learned from Dan and Marucho that fans are crazy, but that was ridiculous!
Leonidas: Where are we anyway?
The Bakugan looked around and noticed they'd been kicked far away.
Drago: I don't see Dan or the others.
Kyubis: Um… do you guys hear that?
Trying to listen what Kyubis was listening, they both heard something.
(Whirling sound)...
And it was coming closer!
Leonidas: What is that…
Leonidas was cut off as he and the other Bakugan found the source of the sound… A Floor Scrubber, and it was heading straight at them!
Drago, Leonidas, and Kyubis: AAAAAAAAHH!
The Bakugan tried to run away, but it was too late as they were pulled in the floor brush and were being spinned around.
Drago, Leonidas, Kyubis: WHAAAAAAA!
They then were expelled and sent flying far away into the air again.
Drago, Leonidas, Kyubis: AAAAAAAH!
They landed again and closed into ball form. The ride drove them to unconsciousness. As they laid there, a young worker took notice of them.
Worker: Huh? What are these balls doing here?
He scooped the three unconsious Bakugan and decided to bring them to the Toystore. Once inside he looked around for a place to put them until he noticed the land model. Shrugging, he put the Bakugan there and left the Toystore.
-End of Flashback-
Leonidas: Never mind. Now I remember…
Kyubis looked around the store they were in.
Kyubis: I don't think our partners will be able to find us if we stay here.
Drago: Then let's go back outside then!
Drago jumped ahead, only to collide face first with the glass wall. He fell on his back after that.
Kyubis: You forget that there's a glass wall there?
Drago: I did…
The Dragonoid stood back up as he and the other Bakugan looked at the fake mountain that stood in their way. Despite the difficulty in trying to climb the fake mountain in their current form, they had to try.
They went in a straight, single-file line as they climbed upwards. With Leonidas in the front, Drago in the middle, and Kyubis in the rear.
Leonidas: Whoa!
Leonidas nearly slided backwards but the other Bakugan held his back and they continued to push upwards until they reached the top. They looked around wondering where to go next.
Leonidas: Now where do we… whoa!
Leonidas got to close the ledge and fell over as he started rolling down the mountain. He was getting dizzy because of this until he hit the glass wall.
Leonidas: Urk…
Kyubis: Leonidas!
The two Bakugan carefully rolled down the mountain as they reached Leonidas and checked on him.
Kyubis: Are you alright?
Hearing her voice, Leonidas got up as he looked at her and Drago.
Leonidas: Yeah… but I'm not moving in the front this time!
Seeing that Leonidas is okay, Drago moved on ahead.
Drago: Alright, we must find someplace around that will allow us to hop over this wall and get off this table.
As the Bakugan moved on ahead they left the mountain part of the table and entered one which only had sand and Cactus.
Leonidas: Why do Humans make this thing?
Kyubis: They are a creative race. That's why I like them.
The Bakugan then came across an unusual trail that had dark brown pieces that looked like wood on the ground, and on top of the woods were two columns of silver lines. Drago was the first to try to cross over them, but when he was on it he suddenly stopped moving. When he looked down, he saw that he was stuck by…
Drago: A bubble gum?! Really?! How the heck is it even here?!
Kyubis looked at the lines with columns and realized what they were.
Kyubis: Drago, I think you're in the middle of a Train track.
That caught the Dragonoid's attention as he and Leonidas turned to her.
Drago: Train tracks? But isn't that where…
Drago's sentence was cut off as the Bakugan heard a choo-choo sound. And coming straight to Drago was a toy Train coming at high speed.
Drago: I've gotta get out of here!
Drago tried to move but realized he couldn't as he was still stuck on a bubblegum. It was already too late as the Train arrived. But Kyubis and Leonidas winced at the crashing sound as Drago was sent flying into the air.
Drago: AAAAAAAAAAAAAHH!
Drago then landed in an artificial bush, with his tiny legs sticking in the air. Both Kyubis and Leonidas watched this in silence.
Leonidas: (Snort)...!
Kyubis was surprised when she heard Leonidas snorted and then began to snicker despite his best attempts not to.
Kyubis: So you can laugh.
Leonidas caught himself at this and turned his back to her.
Leonidas: Humph! I don't know what you're talking about!
This only brought a giggle from the Fox Bakugan.
Kyubis: (Giggles)... If you say so.
They then heard Drago calling out to them.
Drago: Can someone get me out of here…
-BBT Stadium, Wardington, Earth-
Back with the others, Jay, Dan, and Aria were looking for their lost Bakugan, but having no luck.
Jay: Any luck, you guys?
Dan: No, I can't find Drago anywhere!
The kids became worried about their Bakugan, until Jay just remembered something.
Jay: Wait, Aria! Your battle is going to start very soon, isn't it?
With all their search for their Bakugan they forgot that Aria was about to battle someone.
Dan: You're right! Aria, you have to go there! We'll continue searching for the Bakugan!
Aria: No!
The two became surprised at Aria's refusal to go back.
Jay: But why? If you don't go you'll lose by default.
Aria: Kyubis is very important to me! She has been since we've met! I've had her ever since the Bakugan first came to our world!
She then started to remember how they first met.
-Flashback-
In a garden near her House, Aria sat beneath the shade of a three with her open case that had a couple of her Bakugan sitting near her. She was strumming her guitar as she was singing a beautiful song.
"The sound of beginning echoes from an unknown, far away place"
"I want to know my own limits, even if it kills me"
"Do I have the confidence to face the answer?"
Aria stopped as she took a breather, what she didn't expect was hearing a heavenly female voice close by.
?: That was very beautiful.
This surprised Aria as she looked around.
Aya: Huh? Who said that?
She then noticed movement to one of her Bakugan. One of them opened to reveal Kyubis as it looked up at her.
Aria: (That's how Kyubis and I met. Somehow my song restored her mind. After that we had so much fun hanging out together. She even sings with me during our rehearsals.
Aria started playing her guitar again as she sang once more, but with Kyubis joining her.
(Aria)
"Let's start Jam! My colorful memories"
(Kyubis)
"Now play out all your infinite potential!"
(Aria and Kyubis)
"Longing to grasp the next page of the future"
"You taught me to carve open my own road"
"To be selfish, and never give up anything!"
"I won't hesitate so long as I'm dyed in my colors"
"Are you ready? I'm ready!"
-End of Flashback-
Dan and Jay felt touched when they heard that story.
Jay: Wow… that's a beautiful story, Aria.
Dan: Yeah. Not like I had when I first met Drago…
Dan remembered the arguments he had with Drago ever since they met.
Aria: That's why I'll keep looking for Kyubis. Even if it means that I can no longer compete in the tournament.
Jay smiled at Aria.
Jay: Don't worry! We'll find Kyubis so you two wouldn't have to drop from the competition.
Dan: Yeah! No sweat!
Aria became touched by Jay's words.
Aria: Thank you.
-Toystore, BBT Stadium, Wardington, Earth-
Back with the Bakugan, they were still looking for a way to get over the glass wall that had them trapped. They were strolling through a town replica and marveled at the buildings and cars because their small forms made everything bigger than them, even though it's the opposite for them in their true forms. Before long, they reached a farm replica and behind it was a mountain that reached all the way over the glass wall.
Drago: Look! That's our way out!
Leonidas: Then let's get out of this place!
With a little difficulty, they rolled over the mountain and managed to jump over the glass wall. The Bakugan were in their ball forms so they didn't get hurt from the landing.
Leonidas: Finally!
The Pyrus Bakugan was glad to be out of that place. They then leave the Toy Store as they look around for their partners.
Kyubis: We better look around for our partners. They must be worried about us.
Drago: Knowing Dan, he's obviously getting frustrated.
-BBT, Wardington, Earth-
Jay, Dan and Aria continued looking their missing Bakugan, but they were running out of time.
Dan: We're running out of time you guys!
Jay: Where could they be?
Aria was starting to get worried now, until they someone call their names.
Drago: Dan!
Kyubis: Aria!
The kids turned around and saw their Bakugan hopping towards them. They were reliefed and happy at finding them as they picked their Bakugan up.
Jay: Glad you're alright, Leonidas.
Leonidas: Humph!
Leonidas turned away acting as his usual self.
Dan: Where were you, Drago?!
Drago: It's a long story, Dan.
The one who was most happy was Aria.
Kyubis: Sorry to make you worry, Aria.
Aria: Well I'm glad I found you. But I think we should hurry back since our match is about to begin.
Jay: That's right! We gotta hurry and get there!
And with that they made a dash through the halls.
-Battlefield, BBT Stadium, Wardington, Earth-
Jay and Dan finally arrived at the V.I.P. section as they waited for Aria's battle to begin while they sat on comfy chairs with beverages on cup holders.
Jay: I'm glad that we made it just in time.
Dan: Yeah. Say, how good is Aria anyway?
Jay began thinking about it.
Jay: From what I know, she's in the eight place in the ranķings.
Dan's mouth dropped in shock when he heard that.
Dan: Eight?! Is she really that good?!
Jay: She hasn't done much brawling because of her career. But ever since she met Kyubis that changed. Those two became a powerful team.
Commentator: Now entering is Aria Grace, the rising star of both Brawl and music!
They then turned their eyes to the field as Aria finally entered. Her opponent was a male Brawler who looked overconfident.
Male Brawler: Heh… if my opponent is a girl then this will be an easy match!
The Brawler's arrogant words didn't bother her much as she took out a Gate Card and so did her opponent.
Male Brawler/Aria: Field, open!
-Battle Dimension-
Everyone was now in the white dimension with distorted colors in the skies as Aria and the male Brawler threw their Gate Cards.
Aria/Male Brawler: Gate Card, set!
Aria's Gate Cad glowed yellow, while her opponent was red showing he is a Pyrus Brawler as he threw his first Bakugan.
Male Brawler: Bakugan Brawl!
His Bakugan landed on his own Gate Card as it glowed red.
Male Brawler: Bakugan, stand! Pyrus Juggernoid!
The shell of the Bakugan appeared as Juggernoid's head and limbs came out of his shell.

Aria grabbed her own Bakugan as he threw it with a smile and grace.
Aria: Bakugan, Brawl!
Her Bakugan flew to her own Gate Card as it landed and started to glow as her eyes glowed blue.
Aria: Bakugan, stand! Show your beauty, Haos Kyubis!
Appearing on the stage was Kyubis. The Fox Bakugan was incredibly beautiful. She stood gracefully showing her pure white and untainted fur with swirling yellow flames on her shoulders. 9 large, white tails with yellow markings on the tip, as well as yellow fur on the back of her 4 paws. The tips of her ears are yellow and she had behind her back 3 thick hairs that stood up and pointed backwards. Her slit pupils and blue eyes are radiant. Surrounding her eyes is a sharp yellow outline that swirled at the two edges of her eyes. On her forehead is a yellow heart-shaped mark.
Her beauty caught everyone's attention, even the male Brawler and Juggernoid were speechless as their eyes were turned on her.
Haos Kyubis(370Gs)
Dan and Jay were awed as well.
Dan: Wow! So that 's Kyubis? She looks amazing!
Drago: Yeah! They're everything that I've heard of.
Jay: Aria, you really have one incredible Bakugan!
Leonidas was silent as he looked at Kyubis.
The male Brawler snapped out of his daze.
Male Brawler: That's some Bakugan. But pretty doesn't win battles!
Aria: Then come and show us then.
The male Brawler threw in another Bakugan.
Male Brawler: Bakugan, Brawl!
The Bakugan landed in front of Kyubis as it opened up and glowed.
Male Brawler: Bakugan, stand! Fly, Pyrus Falconeer!
The humanoid Falcon Bakugan appeared as he hovered in the air above Kyubis.
Pyrus Falconeer(340Gs)
Aria smiled as she waited for this.
Aria: Gate Card, open! Triple Battle!
The Gate Card activated as a barrier appeared between Kyubis and Falconeer, preventing them from fighting one another.
Dan: Sweet, now she can add in another Bakugan!
However, what Aria was about to say shocked everyone.
Aria: Throw in your third Bakugan.
Male Brawler: EH?!
Her opponent was shocked at her move, same goes for Dan and Jay.
Dan: What?! Can she do that?!
Jay: I don't think that the Triple Battle Card has any rule that lets their opponent to throw in their Bakugan.
Dan: But still, why did she do that?
The Male Brawler snapped out of his shock as he glared at her.
Male Brawler: I don't know what you're planning, but it's your loss! Bakugan, Brawl!
The Male Brawler threw in his final Bakugan.
Male Brawler: Bakugan, stand! Pyrus Terrorclaw!
The giant red Crab appeared as Falconeer flew closer to him.

The barrier vanished so there's nothing to stop the two Bakugan from attacking Kyubis.
Male Brawler: Go! Attack her Bakugan!
Terrorclaw and Falconeer began their attack, but Kyubis wasn't worried as she looked at Aria.
Kyubis: Aria.
Aria: Got it! Ability card, activate! Pyrus Storm!
Dan and Jay, along with Drago and Leonidas were shocked to hear that.
Drago: What?!
Dan: Did she say Pyrus?!
The light blue parts on Kyubis' body turned orange and a swirl of flames appeared around her, before unleashing it into a huge twister of flames that engulfed all three Bakugan in it!
Male Brawler: AAAAAAAH!
-Battlefield, BBT Stadium, Wardington, Earth-
Everyone returned back to the real World. The male Brawler was on his knees, shocked at being defeated in one move without him using an Ability card. His three Bakugan were in ball form in front of him.
Aria: Now you know you shouldn't underestimate me just because I'm a girl.
With that she left the field, while the commentator and all the spectators were in shock. Including Dan, Jay, and Drago and Leonidas.
Dan: Drago? What just happened?
Drago: I've heard that some Bakugan may be able to use abilities outside of their Attribute, but that's incredibly rare!
Jay: No wonder how Aria is at the eight rank! Looks like everything that's been said about Kyubis was true. Right, Leonidas?
Leonidas: Yeah. I can't wait to face her!
Things are going to get intense if Leonidas and Kyubis ever square off.
-Preview-
Jay: Next time on Bakugan Battle Brawlers L. Our match with Marucho begins and he is giving us quite some trouble with his logical strategies. But that wouldn't stop me and Leonidas!

Bio: The Kyubis is part of the most elusive Bakugan in Vestroia. She enjoys beauty and knows how beautiful she is. While she likes teasing others she is a prim and proper Vixen and has a great sense of humility, which makes her the perfect partner for Aya. Despite what most Bakugan think of Kyubis who takes care of her appearance, they learned the hard way that she's no pushover.
