At the Aquos Field, the tag match was reaching its end. On one side is Runo and Marucho, and on the other is Sam and Aria.
On the field was Tigrerra and Preyas, while in another Gate card was Swiftor.

At the stands, Dan and Jay watched the match between their friends and Dan was surprised to see Runo and Marucho being pushed into a corner.
Dan: Man! I couldn't believe your friends were able to push Runo and Marucho like this!
Jay: Yeah, Runo and Marucho fought well, but Aria and Sam were one step ahead of them.
Jay recalled how Sam's Warrius defeated Runo's Tuskor and Marucho's Limulus. Then Aria's Serpenoid defeated Haos Falconeer and Aquos Robotallion by squeezing them.
Runo's Tigrerra was then able to beat Sam's Mantris. Then Preyas defeated Aria's Fear Ripper.
Now it is Aria's move.
Aria: Now, Kyubis, it's your turn to shine.
Kyubis: Save the best for the finale, huh Aria?
Kyubis closed into her ball form and then Aria threw her.
Aria: Bakugan, Brawl!
She threw her on the Gate card where Tigrerra and Preyas are standing.
Aria: Bakugan, stand!
The field glowed yellow and the beautiful Kyubis appeared.

Preyas has hearts in his eyes when he sees her.
Preyas: Wow! No matter how many times I see her, she's so beautiful!
Tigrerra: GET IT TOGETHER, PREYAS!
Tigrerra was getting really annoyed with Preyas love daze.
Runo: I don't know what she's planning, but it's two on one!
Sam: Not for long! Ability card, activate! Raptor Leap!
Swiftor then jumped from the Gate card he was standing on, and now stood alongside Kyubis.

Marucho: Their combined power is higher than our Bakugan!
Runo: Don't worry, Marucho, I got this! Gate card, open!
The card revealed itself to be a Command card.
Runo: Energy Merge! This card will transfer 100 Gs from the last Bakugan who stands in this card to the first!
Aria: But that would mean…
Kyubis felt her energy leave her body as they were transferred to Tigrerra.

Runo: Let's go, Tigrerra!
Marucho: You too, Preyas!
Preyas: Here we go!
Tigrerra: (Roar)...!
Both Preyas and Tigrerra attacked Swiftor and Kyubis. Preyas then attacked Swiftor and punched the Raptor in the face. But then Swiftor form glowed and changed to reveal…
Tigrerra! And Preyas just punched her in the face instead of Swiftor!
Runo, Marucho, and Preyas were shocked, wondering what just happened. Tigrerra recovered and glared furiously at Preyas.
Preyas: WAIT! WAIT WAIT! I was supposed to punch that Dino! I swear it!
Runo: Preyas is right, Tigrerra! That's what we all saw… I think?
Marucho: It did happen, but Swiftor suddenly changed into Tigrerra!
Runo: But how did that happen!?
Aria: Allow me to explain.
Runo and Marucho turned to Aria, who showed them an Ability card in her hand.
Aria: I activated Kyubis Fox Illusion Ability. Not only can it create an illusion that negates an Ability card, it can also make all the opponents Bakugan lose 80Gs.

Aria: Now, Kyubis!
Sam: Sick 'em, Swiftor!
Swiftor attacked Preyas and delivered a tail slap to the face, sending him to ball form.
Marucho: Ah, Preyas!
Kyubis then attacked with her own tail slap, and Tigrerra was surprised at the strength of her tail despite how soft it looked.
Tigrerra: AGH!
Tigrerra was sent flying and turned into ball form as well and landed near a shocked Runo.

Announcer: And the winner that will go to the final is the team of Aria Grace and Sam Masayoshi!
The crowd cheered at the winners while Runo and Marucho stood there, sad and in disbelief.
Dan: This is unreal! I never expect Runo and Marucho to lose! Those guys are good!
Drago: Yeah! Looks like we'll have a tough match ahead.
Jay: Now I'm really excited to face those 2! Don't you agree, Leo?
Leonidas: How about we fight them now instead of waiting?!
Leonidas, as usual, was impatient.
Jay: I'll take that as a yes!
Episode 8: Match between Friends
-Break Room, BBT Stadium, Wardington, Earth-
At the Break Room, Dan and Jay were planning for the finals against Aria and Sam.
Dan: Okay, now better be ready for what Aria and Sam have in store for us.
Drago: Like Kyubis Pyrus Storm. It could take all of us there are 3 Pyrus Bakugan on the field.
Dan: Yeah! It was a surprise how a Haos Bakugan can use a Pyrus Ability!
Dan and Drago remembered the moment Kyubis used Pyrus Storm, she decimated all 3 of the opponent's Bakugan.
Jay: Leonidas' Attribute Change powers could help with that. It did during our battle with Jenny and Jewls.
Jay remembered how Leonidas used Attribute Change for the first time. By changing into Subterra, he was able to escape the two Idols trap.
Dan: What about Sam?
Jay: As you saw in his battles, he likes using fast and swift attacks.
Dan and Jay then remembered how quickly Sam defeated Akira's Warrius with his Mantris.
Dan: I know of a Gate card that could stop him in his tracks!
Jay smiled before getting worried a little.
Jay: Aria's smart. I'm sure she has a strategy for us during our match, she's good at that…
Leonidas: Then overcome it then.
Jay: Huh?
Jay turned to Leonidas who was at the table with Drago.
Leonidas: We already have been pushed into a corner a few times already, but we already pushed through all of them, didn't we?
Dan smiled at that.
Dan: Leo's right! We'll show Aria and Sam who the best Tag Team is!
Jay smiled as he stood up.
Jay: Yeah!
Dan: Alright! Let's do this thing!
Now everyone was eager for the match to start.

Announcer: Finally, the Finals are about to begin with Jay Brand and Dan Kuso vs Aria Grace and Sam Masayoshi!
The crowd cheered as the final battle of the Tag Team Tournament was about to begin with each team in their respective place. At the stands were Runo and Marucho.
Aria: Well, Jay, both of us wanted to have a brawl against each other for quite some time.
Jay: Yeah! Let's make it a memorable match to remember!
With that, they all pulled out their Gate cards.
Jay, Aria, Dan, and Sam: Field, open!
The cards glowed and everyone was transported.
-Battle Dimension-
The two Brawlers and the audience were back in the Aquos Field, and they all threw out their Gate Cards.
Everyone: Gate card, set!
All four cards landed and enlarged. Aria went first.
Aria: Ladies first! Bakugan, Brawl!
Aria threw her Bakugan on her Gate card.
Aria: Bakugan, stand!
Appearing on the field were huge white coils, until Serpenoid's head appeared and hissed.
Serpenoid: Hissss…

Dan: Hah! Is that all!? Bakugan, Brawl!
The Bakugan landed on Dan's Gate card
Dan: Bakugan, Stand!
Appearing on the field was a red Elephant Bakugan with a huge trunk.
Pyrus Tuskor(380Gs)
Dan: Ability card, activate! Nose Slap!
Tuskor's eyes flashed red as he raised his trunk and it started to elongate.
Dan: With this my Bakugan can attack you even from this distance!
Tuskor brought his trunk down on Serpenoid, but Aria just smiled at that.
Aria: Gate card, open! Peacemaker!
The Command card activated, and this sent Tuskor and Serpenoid back to their owner's hands.
Dan: Hey! What gives!?
Aria: Now that you used Tuskor's special ability, you can't use it again, right?
Dan grunted at that while Marucho was impressed.
Marucho: I'll have to say, that was actually quite clever.
Runo: Yeah. She's always one step ahead, even on the first try.
It was Sam's turn now as he threw a Bakugan on his Gate card.
Sam: Bakugan, Brawl! Juggernoid, Stand!
Sam's brown Turtle Bakugan appeared on the field.

Jay: They're planning something, so I better be ready. Bakugan, Brawl!
Dan threw his Bakugan at Sam's Juggernoid's feet before it opened and glowed.
Jay: Bakugan, stand! Pyrus Falconeer!
Flying out of the red light and hovering above Juggernoid was the humanoid Falcon Bakugan, Falconeer.

Sam let out a smirk.
Sam: Gate card, open! Quartet Battle! Now every other player has to throw in their Bakugan as well.
Aria and Dan's Bakugan glowed and were sent flying to the field. Appearing back was Serpenoid and Tuskor.

Dan looked at everything on his Bakupod and saw that their Bakugan are still stronger than theirs.
Dan: Ha! Sorry to break it to you, but our Bakugan are still stronger than yours!
Aria: Not for long.
Aria held out an Ability card.
Aria: Ability card, activate! Constriction! Now Falconeer loses 100Gs and it's added to my Serpenoid!
Serpenoid eyes glowed yellow before striking at Falconeer by wrapping around him, and then squeezing extremely hard. Falconeer let out a screech of pain as his strength was weakened while Serpenoid grew stronger.

Pyrus Falconeer/Tuskor(720-100=620Gs)
Dan: Oh snap! I didn't know Serpenoid could do that!
Drago: The Serpenoid always drains their enemies power by squeezing them!
Dan: Now you tell me!?
Jay: Don't worry, Dan! I got this!
Jay activated an Ability card.
Jay: Ability card, activate! Frame Fire!
Jay threw the Ability card that now lit itself on fire, wrapping Falconeer in flames. The Pyrus Bakugan power increased while Serpenoid struggled to keep the flaming bird in its coils.
Pyrus Falconeer/Tuskor(620+100=720Gs)
Sam: Sorry to say this, but that's not enough.
Jay grunted that he wasn't able to add enough power.
Dan: How about a little more fire? Ability card, activate! Frame Fire!
Dan did the same thing Jay did, and now Tuskor was wrapped in flames as well.
Pyrus Falconeer/Tuskor(720+100=820Gs)
Dan: How about that!? We have twice the firepower now!
Sam: Unless I blow them away.
Dan was taken aback as Sam held out a Standard Ability card.
Sam: Ability card, activate! Sandstorm! This will nullify any Pyrus card on the field!
Juggernoid let out a sandstorm that blew away the flames that's covering Falconeer and Tuskor, to Jay and Dan's surprise.
Jay: No way!
The battle began as Juggernoid charged at Tuskor and tackled him off his feet.
Serpenoid squeezed Falconeer harder and he turned back into his ball form along with Tuskor.

Marucho: I have to say, their teamwork is most impressive.
Runo: Yeah. Hate to say it, but that's how they beat us. Dan and that kid better think one step ahead if they want to win.
It was Dan's turn again as he threw a new Gate card and then his Bakugan on it.
Dan: Gate card, set! Bakugan, brawl! Bakugan, stand!
Just like Falconeer, rising into the air was a Gargonoid.

Aria: Alright, Bakugan, Brawl! Serpenoid, stand!
Serpenoid returned back to the field as it faced Gargonoid.
Haos Serpenoid(330Gs)
Dan: Okay! Ability card, activate! Fire Judge!
Gargonoid's glowed red as his power increased.
Pyrus Gargonoid(320+100=420Gs)
Aria: So that's your plan. Too bad for you I'm one step ahead!
She held out an Ability card to Dan's surprise.
Aria: Ability card, activate! Rapid Haos! I can now add another Bakugan into the field!
One of Aria's Bakugan glowed and flew into the field near Serpenoid. Appearing hovering on the field was a white Butterfly-woman Bakugan.
Haos Serpenoid/Monarus(330+330=660Gs)
Dan: Haha! Good thing I saw that one coming!
Aria was surprised to hear that.
Dan: Gate card, open! Quartet Battle!
A stream of energy rises up, acting as a cage that blocks the Bakugan from reaching the other.
Dan: You're move, Jay!
Jay nodded as he threw in his Bakugan.
Jay: Bakugan, Brawl! Robotallion, stand!
Jay threw in his Bakugan and it transformed into a red Robot warrior.
Pyrus Gargonoid/Robotallion(420+320=740Gs)
Both Robotallion and Gargonoid attacked, defeating both Serpenoid and Monarus, sending them to ball form.
Aria's Loss count(2)
Aria: It seems you discussed some of my strategies with Dan, didn't you, Jay?
Jay: Yeaah… I know you're not an easy opponent to beat, so Dan and I worked our heads hard, and it worked!
Dan: Yeah! Now you only have Kyubis left!
However, Aria only just smiled as she wasn't worried.
Aria: We'll see…
It was Sam's turn now.
Sam: Bakugan, Brawl! Hynoid, stand!
The Subterra Lycan Bakugan appeared on the field on 4 legs.

Jay: Let's make this count! Bakugan, Brawl!
Jay threw his Bakugan on his Gate card.
Jay: Robotallion, stand!
The Robot man Bakugan, Robotallion, appeared back on the field.
Pyrus Robotallion(320Gs)
Aria was curious at that move.
Aria: (Odd… You'd think they'll try to make sure that I don't use Pyrus Storm. What are they planning?)
Aria wasn't too worried.
Aria: Whatever it is, it wouldn't work! Ready, Kyubis?
Kyubis: I'm always ready, Aria!
Aria: Okay! Gate card, set! Bakugan, Brawl!
Aria threw in a new Gate card, and then he threw Kyubis on it.
Aria: Bakugan, stand!
Kyubis and all her beauty appeared back on the field.
Haos Kyubis(370)
Drago: Seems she is going to use Pyrus Storm.
Dan: Yeah… and I can't just skip my turn or anything, but we will still have to go for the plan.
Dan looked at Jay, who nodded at him.
Dan: Here we go! Bakugan, Brawl!
Dan threw his next Bakugan on the Gate card Tuskor once stood.
Dan: Gargonoid, stand!
The winged Bakugan stood up and was ready.

Seeing Gargonoid is just what Sam was waiting for.
Sam: Gate card, open! Pyrus Hazard!
The Command Card quickly changed Hynoid's Attribute to Pyrus.
Drago: Dan! Now that there are 3 Pyrus Bakugan, she can now use Pyrus Storm!
Dan: I know… just as we expected they would.
Dan said it with a smirk, which caught Sam and Aria by surprise.
Sam: You what!?
Jay: Gate card, open! Additional Task! Now I can switch my Bakugan with another one!
Robotallion returned to Jay's hand and he sent his next Bakugan.
Jay: Alright, Leo! You know what to do!
Leo: Hmph!
Leonidas appeared on the field, and began to glow.
Leonidas: Attribute Change! Darkus!
Leonidas has now become a Darkus Bakugan.
Darkus Leonidas(450Gs)
Jay: Now you can't use Pyrus Storm!
Aria and Kyubis couldn't believe that Jay and Dan were one step ahead of them.
Aria: You prepared yourself so we cannot use Pyrus Storm…
Dan: And that's not all! We also have a plan so that you wouldn't be able to use that ability for sure!
Aria grunted at this as she knew what Dan was talking about… except for Runo…
Runo: Why is Dan giving away that they have a plan?! Ugh! He's not being cautious!
Marucho: I'm not so sure about that, Runo.
Preyas noticed the pensive look on Marucho's eyes.
Preyas: What are you thinking, buddy?
Marucho didn't say anything as he kept his eyes on the battle.
Aria: Sam! Send Juggernoid to Leonidas' field!
Sam was surprised to hear that, but didn't question it.
Sam: Since it comes to this… Bakugan, Brawl!
Sam threw his Bakugan at Leonidas.
Sam: Juggernoid, stand!
The brown Tortoise Bakugan emerged and stood face to face against Leonidas.

Swiftor: Seriously?! When do I get to battle Leonidas?
Leonidas growled at the Turtle Bakugan, eager set his claws on him.
Jay: You sure that was a smart move, pal? Leo has more power than Juggernoid.
Aria: True, but if Sam sent Juggernoid to where Hynoid is, the Pyrus Hazard may turn him into Pyrus, and Kyubis could use Pyrus Storm… but since you and Dan worked together to counter it…
She looked at the Gate card Gargonoid was hovering, and Aria knew what Jay and Dan's plan was.
Aria: That Gate card is Gate Close, isn't?
Dan grunted since they figured out the plan.
Marucho: That's it! With Gate Close, all the Bakugan on the field will return to the hand before Pyrus Storm can activate!
Tigrerra: And this time for sure, they'll be careful enough to not let many Pyrus Bakugan on the field!
Runo: I can't believe Dan and that kid were able to come up with such a plan!
Preyas: Yeah!... Even though their plan got busted anyway…
Back to the Brawl, Sam activated an ability card.
Sam: Ability card, activate! Attractor! Now Hynoid will join Juggernoid's side!
Hynoid ran towards where Leonidas and Juggernoid are, becoming Subterra again since he isn't under the influence of Pyrus Hazard.
Subterra Juggernoid/Hynoid(320+290=610Gs)
Sam: Ability card, activate! Whirlwind! This will subtract 50Gs from Leonidas!
Hynoid surrounded himself in a whirling cyclone of sand, and then began running around Leonidas at high speed, surrounding him in desert wind and weakening him.
Darkus Leonidas(450-50=400Gs)
Leonidas: Grrrr…!
Leonidas was getting angry at being hit by the sand and wind.
Sam: Now that he's weak enough, Alpha Blaster wouldn't save you this time!
Jay knew Alpha Blaster gave Leonidas a whopping 200Gs boost, but this time it isn't enough.
Sam: Now go!
Juggernoid jumped in and tackled Leonidas to the ground. The Dragon Bakugan quickly pushed Juggernoid off of him. He got up and went to fly in the air for an aerial attack, only to be hit from behind by Hynoid and knocked facefirst back to the ground.
Jay: Leonidas!
Back in the stands, Runo and Marucho were surprised to see Leonidas being overpowered for the first time.
Runo: Wow…
Preyas: Say, does this mean that grumpy Dragon is beaten?
Preyas was eager to see Leonidas defeated after being punched by him in the face.
Tigrerra: I don't think that will happen, Preyas.
Preyas was confused.
Preyas: Huh? Why not? That Dragon is getting his tail kicked!
Runo: She's talking about the Gate card.
Marucho nodded as he didn't forget either.
Marucho: Gate close.
Aria was watching the match with a hand on her hip.
Aria: (I know that Gate Close could save Leonidas, but Jay can also use the diagonal relationship with Pyrus and Darkus to power Leonidas. However, I can use Kyubis Bright World Standard Ability. It will prevent Darkus Bakugan on the field from increasing their power. And…)
She looked at Kyubis, who looked back at her.
Aria: (Seems she knows… Kyubis wanted to fight Leonidas. Oh well…)
Aria accepted that they'll have to face Leonidas another time, however…
Jay: I know what you're thinking.
Aria: Huh?
Aria looked at Jay, who had a look of confidence in his eyes.
Jay: You're thinking that we're going to use Gate Close or the diagonal relationship to power Leonidas, but there is actually another move that you sure missed.
Aria now realized what Jay meant.
Aria: Oh no…
Jay: Gate card, open! Triple Battle! Now Drago can join the field!
Dan grabbed Dragon and threw him to the field.
Dan: Alright! Go, Drago! Bakugan, brawl!
Drago materialized besides Leonidas. Drago: Let's do this, Leonidad.
Leonidas: Hmph! You better not hold me back!
Darkus Leonidas/Pyrus Dragonoid(400+400=800Gs)
Sam: Oh no!
Sam knew that Juggernoid and Hynoid are outmatched as Leonidas and Drago went on to attack. Drago defeated Hynoid with a swipe of his tail, and Leonidas slashed Juggernoid with his claws. Both him and Drago went back to their owners as all of Sam's Bakugan landed on his feat.

Announcer: Unbelievable! Now Sam and Aria only have one Bakugan left each! Looks like those 2 have met their match!
Runo and Marucho, as well as the audience, were surprised that the 2 strongest tag teams were being pushed back by Jay and Dan.
Jay: Well, it's your move, Aria. But since you have only Kyubis…
Aria knew that she couldn't make another move because she only has Kyubis.
Aria: It's your move, Dan. Although if you did, you're giving me the chance to use Pyrus Storm.
Dan sweated as he knew it was true.
Aria: However, I wouldn't make it that easy for you.
This surprised both Dan and Jay, as Aria seemed to already be prepared for this situation.
Aria: Gate card, set!
Aria put another Gate card besides her own.
Aria: Now Gate card, open! Double Battle!
The power of the Command Card glowed and it quickly sent Drago, Robotallion, and Swiftor on Kyubis field, surprising both Jay and Dan again.

Drago: Oh no, Dan! Look!
Dan: Oh snap! There are 3 Pyrus Bakugan on the field!
He was referring to both Drago, Robotallion, and Gargonoid as they were all Pyrus Bakugan.
Aria: Despite your efforts, I can now use this! Double Ability card, activate! Pyrus Storm and Bright World!
Kyubis released particles of light in the air, as if the field changed to Haos but it didn't. Jay and Dan were shocked that Aria was able to activate Pyrus Storm. Tigrerra was also shocked when she heard about Bright World.
Tigrerra: What!? Bright World!?
Runo turned to Tigrerra.
Runo: What is Bright World, Tigrerra?
Tigrerra: It's a rare power that not only prevents Darkus Bakugan from growing stronger…
Aria: With Bright World in effect, all Bakugan on the field are unaffected by Gate cards this turn!
This news shocked Jay and Dan again.
Dan: WHAT?!
Jay: That means we can't use Gate Close!
Jay then quickly grabbed an Ability card.
The dreaded move that Jay and Dan tried to prevent was being used. Kyubis was surrounded in a swirl of flames that spread and engulfed all the Bakugan on the field.
Drago: GRAAAAAAAAH!
Dan: No! Drago!
It was no use as Drago and the other Bakugan were defeated and landed near Jay and Dan.

Announcer: Pyrus Storm has been used and has beautifully defeated all the Bakugan on the field before returning to Aria, leaving Jay Brand with only one Bakugan while Dan Kuso is out!
Dan knew that he was defeated until he realized something.
Dan: Hang on… she also defeated her own partner! Swiftor got taken out too!
Swiftor: Who's got taken out?
Dan: Huh?
Everyone looked at Sam's shoulder and saw Swiftor there.
Dan: What!?
Jay: But how did he…
Aria and Sam began explaining.
Aria: The Gate card I just set was Scapegoat.
Sam: When Pyrus Storm was activated, I used the Ability card Land Leap to move Swiftor to that Gate card, and when Scapegoat activated, it returned Swiftor to my hand before he got taken out.
In a flashback showed Kyubis about to use Pyrus Storm, Sam activated Land Leap, causing Swiftor to jumped into Aria's other Gate card and Scapegoat activated, returning Swiftor to Sam before the flames engulfed him.
Aria: You're not the only ones who planned things ahead!
Marucho was really impressed at such careful planning.
Marucho: Wow! Ingenious!
Dan was angry that he lost, but then Jay called him out.
Jay: Hey Dan! Catch!
Jay threw something at Dan and he caught it. When he looked in his hand, he saw it was a Pyrus Bakugan who opened to reveal none other than Drago.
Dan: Drago!? But how did…
Drago: Look at your Bakupod, Dan!
Dan looked at it and was shocked at what he saw.

Dan: Wha…? I'm still in the game!?
Sam and Aria were surprised as well.
Aria: Drago's okay?
Sam: But how!?
Jay: It's all thanks to Leonidas!
Everyone turned to Jay as he held a Standard Ability card.
Jay: Seems Leo has another unique power. By changing Attribute while still in my hand, I can use the Diagonal Relationship to pull back my Bakugan or a teammate out of the field.
In a flashback showed Jay activating the Ability card. Leonidas turned to Darkus in ball form and that pulled Drago out of the Pyrus Storm before it could finish him off.
Preyas: I didn't knew you could do that!
Marucho: Me neither! I never thought that it was possible!
Dan gave Jay a thumbs up.
Dan: Thanks a lot, Jay! I owe you one!
With Dan defeated, it was Sam's turn.
Sam: Looks like it's up to us, Swiftor.
Swiftor: Well I was eager to fight Leonidas anyway! Throw me in!
Sam grabbed Swiftor before throwing a Gate card and then Swiftor next.
Sam: Gate card, set! Bakugan, Brawl! Swiftor, stand!
Sam threw a new Gate card and send Swiftor on it as the Raptor Bakugan appeared on the field.
Swiftor: (Shriek)...!
Subterra Swiftor(340Gs)
Dan: Alright, Jay! It's all up to you and Leonidas!
Jay nodded as he looked at Leonidas in his hand.
Jay: You ready for another round, Leo?
Leonidas: I'm ready for any battle!
Leo closed into his ball form and Jay threw him on Sam's field.
Jay: Bakugan, Brawl! Leonidas, stand!
Leonidas appeared on the field with a roar as he and Swiftor were now face to face.
Leonidas: (Roar)...!
Pyrus Leonidas(450Gs)
Swiftor: Leonidas. Finally I get the chance to fight you.
Leonidas: Grrr…
Both Leonidas and Swiftor began battling. The Raptor Bakugan dodged a claw swipe from Leonidas.
Sam: Ability card, activate! Raptor Assault!
Swiftor began running fast and split into 5 duplicates of himself. They spun around Leonidas before attacking him at flash speed. The Dragon Bakugan was receiving blows everywhere when Swiftor charges through.
Sam: How's that!? Raptor Assault increases Swiftor's power by 50 while reducing your Bakugan by the same amount!
Subterra Swiftor(340+50=390Gs)
Pyrus Leonidas(450-50=400Gs)
Jay: That still isn't enough though!
Right when Swiftor charged for another attack in front of Leonidas, the Dragon Bakugan timed it right and caught him by the neck and lifted him off the ground. Sam acted fast.
Sam: Then how about this!? Gate card, open!
The Gate card activated and it's revealed to be Swiftor's Character card, which doubled his G power.
Subterra Swiftor(390x2=780Gs)
The glow forced Leonidas to let go of Swiftor.
Jay: Ability card, activate! Blazing Break!
Leonidas' fist was on fire and he punched the ground, shattering the Character card.
Sam: Oh no!
Swiftor's lost his power boost.
Subterra Swiftor(790=380Gs)
Jay: Now go, Leo!
Leonidas: (Roar)...!
With his blazing fist, Leonidas punched Swiftor. Defeating him and causing Sam to lose the match.

Sam grabbed Swiftor sadly as he looked at him.
Sam: We gave it our all, partner.
He then turned to Aria.
Sam: It's all up to you, Aria.
Aria: You got it!
Meanwhile, Dan was congratulating Jay.
Dan: Nice job, Jay! Now all that's left is Aria and Kyubis!
Jay looked at Aria, who still had a determined smile on her face, as if she had no need to worry.
Jay: I don't know. It seems Aria still has a trick up her sleeve.
Drago: Jay's right, Dan. You better be careful.
Dan: I know.
It was now Aria's turn as she looked at Kyubis who still remained in the field after using Pyrus Storm.
Aria: This is it, Kyubis. Now to show them how strong you really are.
Kyubis: Those boys will be truly surprised to see what I can do.
Kyubis spoke with an eager tone as she faced both Dan and Jay.
Dan: Well, Drago, you ready?
Drago: Let's show her what we're made of, Dan.
Drago closed his ball form and Dan threw him on Kyubis field.
Dan: Bakugan, brawl! Drago, stand!
Drago appeared from the flames as he faced Kyubid.
Pyrus Dragonoid(400Gs)
Drago: Ready to do this, Kyubis?
Kyubis: Not yet, little Drago~.
Drago: Urk...
Drago flinched when Kyubis spoke to him in her silky voice. He put his clawed hand around his heart. At least now he understands what Dan felt when Jenny and Jewls talk to him.
Dan: Let's do this, Drago! Ability card, activate!
Dan activated Drago's signature ability.
Drago: Boosted Dragon!
Dan threw the card at Drago which became engulfed in fire, and swirled around the Dragonoid, empowering him.
Pyrus Dragonoid(400+100=500Gs)
Dan: Take that! Now Drago's power level is permanently at 500Gs! What do you say about that?
Aria: This. Ability card, activate! Rapid Haos! Now I'll force Leonidas to join the field!
Jay: What!?
Jay was once again surprised at Aria's strategy as Leonidas glowed yellow and was pulled into the field, transforming into his true form and now standing besides Drago.
Pyrus Dragonoid/Leonidas(500+450=950Gs)
Runo: That girl keeps surprising me. For some time I never knew you could use moves like that.
Marucho: Yeah! And with how she did last time, she must have a move that would take advantage of these numbers.
Marucho's deduction would be proven right as Aria made her move.
Aria: Now! Gate card, open!
The Gate card was revealed to be a Character card for Kyubis.
Haos Kyubis(370x2=740Gs)
Aria then had a Standard Ability card in her hand.
Aria: Ability card, activate! Radiant Light!
Hearing that, Tigrerra jumped in surprise when she heard those words.
Tigrerra: WHAT?! It's real?!
Runo never saw Tigrerra act so surprised before.
Runo: What is it, Tigrerra? What is that Ability? I've never even heard of it before.
Marucho: Yeah! Me neither!
Tigrerra then started to explain.
Tigrerra: It's a very rare Ability among Haos Bakugan, but we weren't able to confirm if it's real. But rumor has it that the Kyubis clan possess this Ability.
Preyas: Well keep your eyes wide open, cause we're about to see what it can do!
Kyubis' body glowed yellow as it emitted a wave that's affecting Drago and Leonidas.
Leonidas: What is this?!
Suddenly, both Drago and Leonidas fell on their knees.
Dan: Drago! What's wrong?!
Drago: I'm feeling… drained.
Aria: That's because this Ability card drains 80Gs from Pyrus, Darkus, or Haos Bakugan on the field and adds it to Kyubis. On top of that, Pyrus and Darkus Bakugan can't activate their Special Abilities!
Jay: (Gasps)...!
Dan: Say what?!
Dan and Jay were shocked as Drago and Leonidas' powers were drained and were added to Kyubis.
Pyrus Dragonoid/Leonidas(950-80-80=790Gs)
Haos Kyubis(740+80+80=900Gs)
Marucho: That is one powerful Ability card!
Runo: Yeah! Drago and Leonidas are toast!
Sam cheered his teammate on.
Sam: Go get 'em, girls!
Kyubis quickly vanished and appeared in front of Leonidas, surprising the Dragon. The female Fox unsheathed her claws and slashed at Leonidas' chest.
Leonidas: Graaah!
Jay: Leo!
Leonidas stopped himself from falling completely as he held himself with one arm while the other clutched the slash mark on his chest. Kyubis' claws were sharper than expected.
Kyubis then moved again and slashed Drago, sending him down on his sides.
Drago: Gaah!
Dan: Drago, no!
Kyubis stood back in the middle as she faced the two struggling Dragons.
Kyubis: Well, it was nice hanging with you boys, but I think it's time we end this.
Leonidas: I don't think so…
Kyubis: Huh?
Leonidas stood back up as he glared at Kyubis.
Leonidas: I've kept hearing Jay and Dan talk about all this Attribute Relationship stuff, and I know there is one move that can crush you!
Suddenly, Leonidas started to glow, surprising everyone.
Jay: Leo!
Sam: Is he trying to change to Darkus?
Aria: (Even if he does, Kyubis Fox Illusion Ability will negate it, but also drop both Leo and Drago's attack points by 80 each to a total of 160, bringing their power down to 630 points.)
Leonidas: Attribute Change!
Leonidas finished changing his Attribute, but everyone saw was not what they expected.
Leonidas' body is now blue, and his underside is dark blue. His horns and claws are now light-blue, and the insides of his mouth became sea green.
Leonidas: Aquos!
Everyone became really surprised that Leonidas changed into an Attribute that's neither Darkus nor Subterra.
Sam: He changed to Aquos!? No way!?
Runo, Marucho were also surprised as well. Even their Bakugan were shocked.
Preyas: No way! I can only change into two Attributes!
Tigrerra: I've heard that a Bakugan with this ability can only change into two Attributes only. No one managed to ever achieve a third Attribute.
Runo: Well, Leonidas did.
Marucho: How much is that Bakugan capable now?
Jay was awed that Leonidas can change into Aquos as well.
Jay: Leo, this is incredible!
Leonidas turned to Jay.
Leonidas: Use that card that requires three Attributes!
Jay: Three Attributes? Now I get it! The Triple Nod!
Jay pulled the Standard Ability card.
Jay: Ability card, activate! Triple Nod!
Pyrus, Haos, and Aquos started to link.
Jay: Check it! With the Triple Nod, if there is Pyrus, Haos, and Aquos on the field, then all our Bakugan get a boost of 200!
Both Sam and Aria knew this wasn't good as both Leonidas and Drago are powered up.
Pyrus Dragonoid/Leonidas(790+200+200=1190Gs)
Drago: (Roar)...!
Leonidas: (Roar)...!
Sam stepped back when he saw the huge power boost while Aria sweated.
Sam: Not good…
Aria: Even if I use Fox Illusion now, Dan can activate his own Triple Nod, bringing their power by 1030!
Aria then knew that they lost.
Dan: Go! Drago!
Leonidas: You too, Leo!
Both Dragon Bakugan began their attack.
Drago: Boosted Dragon!
Drago fired his signature Ability, but Kyubis jumped above the fireball. However, this left her in a vulnerable position in the air as both Drago and Leonidas flew at her and delivered a tail slap with both their tails, defeating Kyubis and sending her back into ball form at Aria's feet, who picked her up as she looked at her opponents before giving a happy smile.

Everyone returned to the Real World as the Announcer spoke.
Announcer: And the winner of this Tag-Team Tournament is… Dan Kuso and Jay Brand! Just as they were about to be defeated, they made a spectacular move that gave them the win!
Sam was frustrated that they lost while Aria took it in stride. Despite the loss, she was happy at Dan and Jay managing to pull a victory at the last minute. Jay and Dan then gave a high-five.
Runo and Marucho looked at the two, more especially Jay.
Marucho: Leonidas is more powerful than I calculated. Who knows what else he can do?
Runo: Yeah. And that worries me.
-Outside BBT Stadium, Wardington, Earth-
Outside, Jay was along with Dan, Aria, and Sam. They were still trilled that they won.
Dan: Alright! We're awesome!
Jay: I can't believe we won!
Aria: If I'm to be honest, if Leonidas didn't change to Aquos you guys wouldn't have been able to use the Triple Nod, otherwise we would have won!
Jay looked at Leonidas, who was on his shoulder.
Jay: Leo, you're one incredible Bakugan.
Kyubis: He sure is.
Kyubis suddenly appeared next to Leonidas, surprising him.
Leonidas: AAH! Stop doing that!
Everyone were getting a good laugh at Leonidas' reaction.
Dan: We're one step closer to the UBT. But I heard the next tournament final is gonna be a Battle Royal.
Jay raised an eyebrow at that.
Jay: Battle Royal?
Sam: Woo! Sounds like it's gonna be a real smack down of a match!
Dan: Nothing to worry about! Catch me at the park and I'll teach 'ya how it works!
Dan ran and left back home. Jay and the others looked at each other.
Jay: I can't wait for the next tournament to begin!
Aria laughed at that.
Aria: Same! Sam and I can enter a tournament that will allow us a spot for the Battle Royal, so you can expect that we'll have another battle again!
Kyubis: Indeed, so you and I will have another dance, Leo~.
Leonidas turned around as he didn't even growled at those words.
Jay only laughed at this.
-Battle Dimension-
In another location of Wardington, another brawl was occurring in the Battle Dimension, one that isn't very pretty as a male Brawler fell on his rear with a terrified expression.
Towering before him was the shadow of a heavy armored Knight Bakugan, who raised a hand and fired a dark sphere.
Male Brawler: AAAAAHH!
-Somewhere in Wardington, Earth-
The battle was over and the Brawler returned to the night of the real world, albeit unconscious as he laid on the concrete floor.
The shadow of the Brawler who defeated him stood over the unconscious boy, before he turned around and left.
?: Hehe. Weak!
The mysterious Brawler disappeared under the Full Moon of the night.
-Preview-
Jay: Next time on Bakugan Battle Brawlers L. Shuji and Akira came back for a rematch against me, tagging along with them is their sister, Nene. But then an old friend and his Crocodile appeared to help me. What a better way to start our reunion with a Battle Royal!
