At Jay's room, the rays of the morning Sun shone through the window and into Jay, who was still sleeping soundly.
Jay: (Light snoring)...
Leonidas was sleeping on the desk that's near Jay's bed. He was quietly sleeping… until the alarm clock started beeping.
BEEP! BEEP! BEEP!
This roused Leonidas out of his sleep as his ball form opened.
Leonidas: Okay! THAT'S IT!
The past few days, Leonidas felt annoyed at the alarm clock constantly waking him up, until he had enough.
Leonidas: You woke me for the last time, CLOCK!
Leonidas then started bashing against the electronic clock, pushing it over the edge of the desk until it fell over and the plug was pulled. The clock fell into the ground with a thud and the alarm finally stopped.
Leonidas: Finally…
Leonidas closed his ball form as he went back to sleep. Meanwhile, Jay was still sleeping, unaware of what just happened… until the door to his room opened.
A woman entered the room.
She has sleek shoulder length brown hair and blue eyes. She's wearing a short sleeved blue shirt and dark blue yoga pants. She 's Jay 's Mom. Daisy Brand.
Daisy: Jay! Wake up!
This immediately woke up Jay as he quickly sat up.
Jay: Wha…?! What happened?
His Mom only crossed her arms as she looked at her son.
Daisy: Are you going to sleep the rest of the morning? Is that why you broke your alarm clock?
Jay now noticed the alarm clock that was on the floor. He gave his Mom a sheepish smile as he didn't know how to explain.
Episode 9: The Triple Team-Up!
Jay: Okay Mom! I'm going to the park to meet my friends!
Jay called out from the door while his Mom was doing Yoga exercises.
Daisy: Okay, be back for dinner! And tell Aria I said and that she should visit us!
Jay: 'Kay! I will!
With that, Jay left the apartment.
-Wardington, Earth-
Jay started heading to the Park on his bike as he was having conversation with Leonidas on shoulder.
Jay: You really aren't a morning person, huh Leo?
Leonidas: I don't like being woken up. Besides, you're not a morning person either.
Jay laughed at that as it was true. He then reached the park.
-Park, Wardington, Earth-
As Jay entered the middle of the park where the fountain is, he saw Aria(in her disguise) sitting there.
Aria: Hey, Jay!
Jay: Aria! I'm surprised to see you here!
Jay stopped his back and hopped off in front of her.
Aria: Guess what? I managed to earn a spot in the battle royal!
Jay was happy to hear that.
Jay: That's great! That means we get to battle each other again!
Kyubis hopped on Aria's shoulders and addressed Leonidas.
Kyubis: Looks like we'll face each other again, Leo~.
Leonidas, however, turned away from her.
Leonidas: Hmph! I already beat you so I have no interest in fighting you again.
But as Leonidas turned around, Kyubis was already beside him, glaring at him.
Kyubis: Excuse me, this girl doesn't give up just because of one defeat.
Kyubis pushed forward as Leonidas moved back, nearly reaching the end of Jay's shoulder.
Kyubis: Besides, it was a Tag Team Match. You and I haven't fought one on one, and I will take no for an answer! Understood?
For the first time, Leonidas felt flustered.
Leonidas: O-Okay…
Jay sweatdropped and laughed nervously at Leonidas being put in his place by Kyubis.
Jay: Anyway, is Dan here?
Aria only shook her head.
Aria: No. He's not here yet.
Jay: Huh. That's weird. Normally he's always here first.
-Wardington, Earth-
Dan was currently pedaling on his bike. He knew that he was late, and Drago is reprimanding him for this.
Drago: This is what you get for sleeping late.
Dan: Cut it out, Drago! So I overslept, but we can still make it in time. I'll just take a shortcut here and we'll arrive at the park in no time.
Dan entered an alleyway, but just as he was reaching the middle of the path, the mysterious Brawler suddenly appeared in front of him.
Dan: Huh?
Dan stopped as he faced the Brawler in the shadows.
Dan: Hey, who are you?
Mysterious Brawler: Are you Dan Kuzo? The one who has Dragonoid as his partner?
Dan: Yeah. So?
The mysterious Brawler then took out a Gate card, which Dan immediately understood what it meant.
Mysterious Brawler: I challenge you to a Brawl! Unless you're scared?
This hit a spot on Dan as he got off his bike.
Dan: Alright… I'll battle ya!
Drago: Dan, wait! There's something off about this guy! Be careful.
Dan, like usual, shrugged it off.
Dan: Don't sweat it, Drago. We'll beat this guy and be in time to train with Jay and Leo.
Dan then pulled out his Gate card.
Dan: Alright! Let's do this!
Unknown to Dan, the mysterious Brawler let out a malicious smirk.
-Park, Wardington, Earth-
Meanwhile, Jay and Aria were sitting together on a bench, waiting for Dan.
Jay: So how's Sam doing?
Aria: He's participating in a match that will allow him to go into the next tournament if he wins. But it will be a while before we meet up in the field again.
They stayed silent for a while, until Leonidas broke it.
Leonidas: Seriously! When will Dan and Drago get here!?
Jay: Normally, I always find Dan here before me. What do you think happened?
Aria put a finger on her chin, thinking.
Aria: Maybe Dan overslept. That commonly happens sometimes. Obviously because they slept late.
Jay sweatdropped at that, since he slept late, so he overslept.
Jay: So… what will we do when we wait for him?
Aria was about to respond, until a voice interrupted her.
?: How about you face me, dudes!
Suddenly, someone jumped above them on a skateboard. With the Sun behind him, it was Arata Harumi, Jay and Aria's friend who lives near the beach. He landed near them as he greeted them with a smile.
Arata: How's it going, guys?
Jay: Arata?!
Aria: When did you get here?
Both Jay and Aria stood from the bench in surprise, as they didn't expect to see him.
Arata: I've wanted to surprise you guys that I'm participating in the Bakugan Battle Tournament! I already won a few matches that I'm now going to the Battle Royal.
Jay: Wow! That's great, Jay!
Aria: But, if you wanted to surprise us in the tournament, why did you show up to us now?
Arata: It's all thanks to a certain croc who can't wait to battle you.
He motioned on his shoulder. There was a blue Bakugan ball and it opened to show it was a croc Bakugan that Jay and Aria recognized.
Sebek: Howdy.
Jay and Aria: Sebek?
Sebek jumped above Arata's head as he addressed them.
Sebek: It's nice to finally meet you face to face.
Kyubis: Sebek. Now it explains why Arata's here.
Aria looked at Kyubis curious.
Aria: Why Sebek?
Kyubis: Sebek has always ended up picking fights with other Bakugan. So of course he's eager to fight me and Leonidas.
Arata nodded at that as he looked at Sebek above his head.
Arata: This guy couldn't even sleep without thinking about fighting you guys! So… Here we are.
Jay knew where this was going.
Jay: So… you want to fight both of us, right?
Arata smiled as he knew what Jay was thinking.
Arata: We could start our battle, here and now, tournament or no tournament!
Aria: This could be our very own battle royal! What do you think?
Leonidas responded to that question.
Leonidas: I think… Let's do this now!
All three kids nodded and took out their Gate cards, but right when they're about to activate it.
Jay, Aria and Arata: Gate…
?: Hold it right there!
Everyone turned around and saw it was Shuji and Akira again.
Jay: You guys again!
Jay replied annoyed, while Arata looked confused at the newcomers.
Arata: Who are those guys?
Jay: Shuji and Akira. These are the guys I told you about. You want another battle with me Shuji?
Shuji cracked his knuckles as he smirked at Jay.
Shuji: That's right! Only this time will be different 'cause our sister is here!
This made everyone confused as the only ones present are just Shuji and Akira.
Aria: Sister? Then where is she?
?: I'm right here!
Stepping from behind Shuji was Nene, the younger sister of Shuji and Akira.
Arata: Where did that voice come from?
Jay: I hear her, but I don't see her.
Everyone looked around to find Nene, which made her annoyed that they weren't able to notice her, because she's the younger sister and is smaller than Akira.
Nene: I'm down here you dummies!
Hearing that, they looked down and finally noticed Nene standing in between Shuji and Akira.
Aria: You're their sister?
Akira kneeled on one knee as he presented his sister.
Akira: That's right! Nene may be younger than us, but she taught Shuji and I everything about Bakugan battles!
Nene: But even with all my lectures, you guys are not at the same level as me!
But Akira and Shuji's head dropped in shame as it was true. Everyone sweatdropped at this.
Nene: Anyway, I've heard that my brothers have trouble beating you, so as they're supportive sister, we challenge you and that girl in a brawl!
Jay: You want us to fight in a 3 on 2 match?
Shuji: That's right! Unless you're too Chicken to take all 3 of us!
Arata: Make that 3 on 3!
Shuji: Huh?
Shuji looked at Arata, who went to stand by Jay's side.
Shuji: And who are you?!
Arata: The name's Arata, and I'm a friend of Jay. So are you ready to brawl?
Shuji: Is that even a question?
Nene: You may have kept beating my 2 brothers, but things will be different now that I'm here!
Akira: Yeah, this time we will win!
All 3 siblings took out their Gate cards.
Aria: This may not be a battle royal, but it's still close enough to one.
Jay: Well, let's do this then!
Arata: I'm way ahead of you!
Now they took out their Gate cards as well, and they all shouted.
Everyone: Field, open!
The cards glowed as everyone was transported to the Battle Dimension.
-Battle Dimension-
Everyone stood in the white field. Arata turned to Sebek as he apologized to him.
Arata: Sorry we don't get to battle Leonidas as we planned, Sebek.
Sebek: That's alright. We still get bust these jerks anyway.
Nene then called out to them.
Nene: Are we gonna do this or what?!
Everyone held their Gate card.
Everyone: Gate card, set!
They threw it on the field and it enlarged.
Arata's Gate card glowed blue. Nene's green and Shuji's is now black.
Aria: Guys… due to our Attributes being linked in a triangle relationship, you do know what that means, right?
Arata was confused at that, while Jay understood what Aria was talking about.
Arata: What's a triangle relationship?
Jay: I know what you mean. Arata, just follow our lead.
Arata didn't get it, but nodded anyway.
Nene: Since you three are doing nothing, I'll go first! Bakugan, Brawl!
Nene threw a green Bakugan on her Gate card.
Nene: El Condor, stand!
Floating above her field was El Condor, a Totem pole-like Shaman Bakugan. Its color is green and it has the Ventus Attribute.

Jay: Alright, here we go! Bakugan, Brawl!
Jay threw his Bakugan at Nene's field.
Jay: Bakugan, stand! Pyrus Falconeer!
Rising from the red light into the air was the Humanoid Falcon, Flaconeer.

Jay: And just to make sure, Ability card, activate! Frame Fire!
Jay's card turned on fire and he threw it at Falconeer. The flames wrapped around the Bakugan and increased his power.

Nene: And you really think that is enough? Well think again! Gate card, open! Triple Battle!
The Command card activated, and bars of energy raised from the floor, preventing Falconeer from fighting El Condor.
Jay: Uh oh!
Nene: Uh oh indeed! Now we can add another Bakugan onto the field! Akira?
Akira: Hehe. Thanks, Sis! Bakugan, Brawl!
Akira threw his Bakugan on the field, and Centipoid appeared next to El Condor, towering over him and Falconeer.
Ventus El Condor/Subterra Centipoid(350+400=750Gs)
The energy bars disappeared as the battle resumed. El Condor summoned winds that blew away Falconeer flames until Centipoid knocked him out of the field and defeated him. Falconeer turned into ball form and landed besides a surprised Jay.

Aria: Then we better show them our own as well.

Shuji threw his Bakugan at his Gate card.
Shuji: Mantris, stand!
A Darkus Mantris appeared on the field, hissing.

Jay: A Darkus Bakugan. It's your turn now.
He turned to Aria, who nodded and then threw a Bakugan on her Gate card.
Aria: Bakugan, Brawl! Serpenoid, stand!
Her Snake Bakugan appeared with a hiss.

Shuji: Right where I want you. Ability card, activate! Marionette!
Mantris red eyes glowed as Shuji activated his Ability card. Purple electricity formed in his scythes and launched them at Serpenoid, lifting the Snake in the air to Aria's surprise.
Shuji: Now, bring that Serpenoid close to you!
Mantris did that as he brought Serpenoid to his field and then dropped the Snake Bakugan, which then activated the Gate card they were both standing on!
Shuji: Gate card, open! Cheering Battle!
Aria: Another Command Card that adds a Bakugan to the field!
Shuji: That's right! Wouldn't you mind, sis?
Nene: Of course! Bakugan, Brawl! El Condor, stand!
Nene threw her Bakugan at Shuji's card, and now El Condor appeared again, hovering besides Mantris.

Shuji: And not only that, my Bakugan will get a boost by the 10s number from sis' Bakugan!
Arata: What does that mean?
Nene: It means Mantris will get a 50Gs power boost!
Mantris' power increased by 50Gs from El Condor.

Aria grunted as both the siblings Bakugan attacked her Serpenoid, defeating her.

It was now Akira's turn as he threw his Bakugan on his Gate card.
Akira: Bakugan, Brawl! Subterra Rattleoid, stand!
Rising on the field is a brown Rattlesnake Bakugan rattling his tail.

Arata: Okay, Bakugan Brawl!
Arata threw his Bakugan near Rattleoid.
Arata: Bakugan, stand! Rise, Aquos Siege!
The blue Knight Bakugan wielding his lance rose up as he faced the Rattlesnake Bakugan.

Akira: And now, Gate card, open!
The Gate card is Rattleoid's Character card, and it doubled up its power.

Akira rubbed his nose as he knew he had them, but Nene quickly reprimanded him.
Nene: You dummy! You fell for his trap!
Akira: Huh?!
Arata then pulled out Siege's main Ability card.
Arata: Ability card, activate! Aquos Lance!
Siege stabbed his lance on the Gate card, and with effort, he switched the Gate card with the one Arata just set, and it activated to show it's Siege's own Character card, powering the Aquos Bakugan while Rattleoid lost its power boost.

Akira moved quickly as he activated an Ability card.
Akira: Ability card, activate! Poison Fang!
Rattleoid suddenly lunged and latched his jaws on Siege's shoulder.

Arata: That is not enough!
Siege pushed Rattleoid back and slammed his staff on the Subterra Bakugan, defeating him.

Siege returned to ball form and Arata caught him.
Arata: What was the point of that move?
Arata didn't understand why Akira used an Ability card that doesn't even do much.
Aria: Poison Fang has another ability, Arata!
Arata: Huh?
Arata turned to Aria, wondering what she's talking about.
Aria: If Rattleoid is defeated when he uses that ability, then the Bakugan that he bit will lose 100Gs once it's thrown back in the field.
Arata: You serious!?
Arata looked at Siege, which was currently glowing purple.
Akira: Haha! I know how troublesome Siege is, so we'll have no trouble beating him once you throw him again!
Arata grunted that they managed to pull one on him.
Nene: Gate card, set!
It was Nene move again as she threw a new Gate card before throwing her next Bakugan on it.
Nene: Bakugan, brawl! Bakugan, stand! Bee Striker!
Hovering on the field was a big Bee Bakugan with a massive stinger.

Jay: We better be one step ahead. Bakugan, Brawl!
Jay threw his Bakugan on his Gate card.
Jay: Griffon, stand!
The Chimera Bakugan with a Lion's head, scaled Goat hindlegs, huge Bat-like wings, and a Snake as a tail appeared on the field.
Griffon: (Roar)...!

Nene: What's the matter? Too scared to face me?
Jay: I know how you battle now. You use swarm tactics with the help of your brothers to beat us. Well it wouldn't work anymore 'cause now it's our turn to show you our teamwork!
Nene, Akira, and Shuji knew that their opponents are slowly figuring their strategies now.
Shuji: I'll show you teamwork! Gate card, set!
Shuji threw in a new Gate card and threw his Bakugan on it.
Shuji: Bakugan, stand! Darkus Mantris!
The Mantis Bakugan appeared once again screeching.

Shuji: Ability card, activate! Marionette! Bring Griffon over here!
Once again, Mantris released purple electricity from his scythes and they wrapped around Griffon, bringing him to Mantris' location.
Shuji: Now Gate card, open! Triple Battle!
The Command Card glowed and Nene made her move.
Nene: Bakugan, Brawl! El Condor, stand!
El Condor appeared once more besides Mantris.

El Condor summoned winds as the attack began.
Arata: That is not good!
Jay: I've already planned for that! Ability card, activate! Diagonal Relationship! Now Leo will turn into a Darkus Bakugan and join the field!
Leonidas glowed and flew to the field where the battling Bakugan were. He turned into his true form and immediately changed to Darkus.
Leonidas: (Roar)...!

Shuji: Aw man!
Nene: Grr…
Both Shuji and Nene knew they couldn't do anything else to stop the attack as both Leonidas and Griffon slashed Mantris and El Condor with their claws and defeated them.

Both Griffon and Leonidas turned into ball form and went back to Jay's hand.
Jay: Alright! That's three losses for them while we only have two!
Shuji: You just got lucky!
Jay looked at Aria which she caught and understood what he was trying to tell her through eye contact alone. She looked at Kyubis in her hand.
Aria: Alright, Kyubis, it's your turn to shine!
Kyubis: Got it, Aria.
Kyubis closed her ball form, and Aria threw her.
Aria: Bakugan, Brawl!
Aria threw Kyubis… on Jay's Gate card, to Nene, Shuji, and Akira's surprise.
Aria: Bakugan, stand! Haos Kyubis!
Kyubis appeared on the field in all her grace.

The three opponents quickly recognized her.
Shuji: Hold on… that 's Aria Grace Bakugan!
Akira: But that would mean…
Aria then took off her disguise and winked at them.
Shuji and Akira: YOU'RE ARIA GRACE?!
They really didn't expect to battle her.
Akira: No way! I didn't expect to face a famous Singer!
Nene: Singer or not, we're still brawling here! Make your move, Akira.
Nene gets annoyed that her brothers are being thrown off their game just because they're facing Aria.
Aria: So? Isn't your move, Akira?
Akira blushed when Aria said his name.
Akira: R-Right! Bakugan, Brawl!
Akira threw his Bakugan near Kyubis.
Akira: Terrorclaw, stand!
Kyubis was facing a brown Crustacean Bakugan.
Subterra Terrorclaw(300)
Jay: Gate card, open! Warp Gate!
The Command card teleported Terrorclaw and Kyubis to where Bee Striker is.
Akira: Huh?!
Nene: But, this doesn't make sense! Now her Bakugan is outnumbered.
With Bee Striker and Terrorclaw together, their combined G-Power surpassed Kyubis'.

Aria then calmly raised an ability with one eye closed as she calmly activated it.
Aria: Ability card, activate. Haos Freeze.
Kyubis' eyes glowed at the activated ability.
Aria: Gonna give this girl a hand, Jay?
Jay: Of course I will, Bakugan, Brawl! Leonidas, stand!
Leonidas now rose up, standing beside Kyubis.
Akira: Not good…
Akira knew they were toast again.

Leonidas: Hmph!
Leonidas didn't say a word as he and the nine tailed Fox attacked with both their tails, defeating Nene and Akira's Bakugan.

Nene and her siblings grunted at this.
Arata: It's my turn again! Gate card, set!
Arata threw in another Gate card.
Arata looked at Sebek in his hand.
Arata: Ready to do this, Sebek?
Sebek: You kidding? I've been itching for a match all day!
Sebek closed his ball form as he was ready and Arara clasped his hand around him.
Arata: Then let's do this! Bakugan, Brawl!
Arata threw Sebek on his Gate card.
Arata: Aquos Sebek, stand!
Sebek landed and glowed bright blue as he turned into his true form.
A blue Crocodilian Bakugan that has two rows of dark blue spikes that starts from the sides of his nose, going past his head to his back, and all the way to his tail. He has green eyes with slit pupils, dark blue claws, and small dark blue spikes on the elbows of his limbs.
Sebek: Grroaaaarr!

Jay and Aria were impressed by Arata's partner Bakugan.
Jay: Oh wow! That is one impressive Alligator!
Aria gave Jay a deadpanned look.
Aria: Jay, that's a Crocodile…
Shuji: I'm not afraid of some Gator!
Arata and Aria: Croc!
Both Arata and Aria corrected him in annoyance.
Nene then took out her final Bakugan.
Nene: It's your turn, Ravenoid! Bakugan, Brawl!
Nene threw her Bakugan on her Gate card.
Nene: Ravenoid, stand!
A figure flew from the green light and landed on the field.
Ravenoid is a green humanoid Raven with dark green wings behind his back and stood on the field with his arms crossed.

Jay looked at Leonidas sitting on his shoulder.
Jay: Your turn, Leo.
Leonidas: Finally!
Jay grabbed Leonidas and threw him at Ravenoid's feet.
Jay: Bakugan, Brawl! Leonidas, stand!
Leonidas appeared on the field and let out a roar.
Leonidas: (Roar)...!

Leonidas: You're mine!
The Dragon Bakugan went to attack, but Nene smirked as she espected that.
Nene: I don't think so! Gate card, open! Triple Battle!
The same Command Card activated as energy bars rose from the ground. Leonidas slammed into the bars as he roared in frustration.
Nene: Now, Shuji! Get rid of that Gator!
Arata: Croc.
They didn't listened as Shuji threw his Bakugan at Sebek's field.
Shuji: Bakugan, Brawl! Robotallion, stand!
The black Robot arised on the field as he faced Sebek.

Shuji: Ability card, activate! Robotallion Enforcement!
The Ability card activated and Robotallion was covered in a purple aura which increased his power.

Arata: That's not enough, pal! Ability card, activate! Gator Fang!
Sebek's eyes glowed blue before he opened his jaws wide.
Sebek: Groaaar!
Darkus Robotallion(380-80=300Gs)
Shuji: Oh no you don't! Ability card, activate!Spiced assault!
The card Shuji activated is a Standard Ability card.
Robotallion's eyes glowed as a dark aura surrounded him and went to Sebek, shrouding him and draining his energy.
Shuji: This will take 100Gs from your Bakugan and give it all to Robotallion!

Arata: Too bad for you I am one step ahead! Gate card, open! Hyper Merge!
Shuji was shocked as he knew what that Command card could do.
Arata: Check it! Thanks to Hyper Merge, all the power you stole from Sebek goes back to him!
A rainbow aura came from Robotallion's body and flew to Sebek, re-energizing him.

Shuji knew he was in trouble as Sebek bit Robotallion in the middle. Defeating him as it returned back into ball form and returned at Shuji's feet.

Sebek: You bet! I still want to battle!
Everyone was surprised that Sebek didn't return to Arata.
Akira: What gives?! Why is your Bakugan still here?!
Arata: Gator Fang not only decreases my opponent's Bakugan by 80Gs, but it also allows Sebek to remain on the field.
Shuji grunted at this.
Aria: Now it's my turn again. Gate card, set! Bakugan, Brawl! Kyubis stand!
Aria threw another Gate card and threw Kyubis on it. The beautiful Fox Bakugan appeared once more.
Kyubis: Are you ready for me again?

Nene: (Odd? Why didn't she threw her Kyubis to our field? That way Triple Battle will stop and Leonidas and her can attack. Not that will do much since I can Blow Away to throw Leonidas to another Gate card. Still…)
Nene looked at Akira and he knew what he had to do.
Akira: Gate card, set! Bakugan, brawl! Centipoid stand!
Akira thew in a new Gate card and send in his last Bakugan, Centipoid.

Arata: Bakugan, brawl! Warius, stand!
Arata threw his Bakugan and the blue Ogre rose next to Sebek.

Akira: What's wrong? Too scared to fight!
Arata only shrugged.
Arata: I can deal with that.
Nene narrowed her eyes since again no one threw their Bakugan at the battlefield that's been put on hold before looking at Shuji.
Nene: Shuji, it's time!
Shuji: Finally! Bakugan, Brawl!
Shuji threw his final Bakugan near Ravenoid.
Shuji: Fear Ripper, stand!
Shuji's Fear Ripper stood next to Nene's Ravenoid.
Ventur Ravenoid/Darkus Fear Ripper(370+350=720Gs)
Now that another Bakugan stood on the Gate card, the energy bars stopping the opposing Bakugan to fight vanished.
Leonidas: Finally!
Leonidas, tired of waiting flew up and attacked Ravenoid, who responded by kicking Leonidas' fist until Fear Ripper came to attack with his claws. Leonidas dodged the attack and did a tail slap that Fear Ripper blocked with his arm.
Arata: Let's help them, Sebek!
Sebek: Got it!
Arata: Gate card, open! Warp Gate!
The Command card where Sebek and Warius are standing teleported them to the battle.
Arata: Now it's 3 against 2!
Nene: Don't be so sure. Ability card, activate! Blow Away!
Ravenoid then conjured winds that literally blew Warius away and landed back on Arata's Gate card.
Arata: What?! (They must have been aware of Dive Mirage, otherwise they wouldn't have blown Siege away since he's the weakest!)
Pyrus Leonidas/Aquos Sebek(450+350=800Gs)
Jay: Our Bakugan still has enough power to defeat yours!
Akira: Then how about this? Ability card, activate! Attractor!
Using his signature ability, Centipoid moved from his Gate card and joined the battle.
Nene: Now we have you outnumbered!
Ventur Ravenoid/Darkus Fear Ripper/Subterra Centipoid(720+400=1120Gs)
Arata: That's not good…
Aria: Now if we use our triangle relationship.
Jay now remembered that as he took out an Ability card.
Jay: Hey, that's right! Ability card, activate! Triple Nod! Since there are an Aquos, Pyrus, and Haos Bakugan on the field, they all will get a mayor power boost!
Both Leonidas, Sebek, and Kyubis gained a glowing aura of their respective Attributes. Both Leo and Sebek roared as they felt their power increase while Kyubis took it calmly.

Arata: Alright! Now we've got them!
Nene: Don't be so sure.
Arata and the others wondered what she was saying.
Nene: The reason you can use Triple Nod was because you had Pyrus, Aquos and Haos on the field, while we have Ventus, Subterra and Darkus on ours. You know what that means?
Aria quickly understood this.
Aria: They can use the Triple Nod as well!
Nene: Exactly!
Shuji activated the Ability card.
Shuji: Ability card, activate! Triple Nod!
Ravenoid, Centipoid, and Fear Ripper glowed in their respective Attribute colors.

Arata: Oh man! We're toast!
Shuji: Yes you are! Attack!
All 3 Bakugan went to attack both Leonidas and Sebek, but then suddenly, all 3 of them were whiped away by Kyubis' tails! Everyone were shocked by her sudden appearance.
Nene: Kyubis?!
Akira: But how is she here?!
Aria showed them a glowing Ability card.
Aria: This is another of Kyubis' specialty! Teleport! I used this to teleport Kyubis to their aid!
A flashback show Aria activating the Ability card and Kyubis immediately teleported to the battle.
Aria: And that's not all! All my opponents Bakugan lose 50Gs thanks to this Ability!
Both Nene, Shuji, and Akira were shocked by this.

Jay's team attacked their opponents. Kyubis striked Fear Ripper. Sebek smashed Centipoid with his tail. And Leonidad slashed Ravenoid with his claws.
All 3 Bakugan were defeated and landed near Nene, Akira, and Shuji.

Everyone returned to their world as Nene, Akira and Shuji couldn't believe they lost.
Akira: We lost!
Nene turned to Aria.
Nene: Is that why you didn't send Kyubis to battle? You were trying to beat all 3 of us with your own Triple Nod.
Aria: We already figured out that you guys were going to use a Triple Nod as well. I'm surprised that Arata did get it even though I didn't know about it.
Arata only responded with a shrug.
Arata: Well, I just followed the flow.
Shuji then stepped in and stood in front of Jay. They both looked at each other before Shuji responded.
Shuji: I was wrong about you. You are a good Brawler.
Jay: Huh?
Jay didn't expect to hear that.
Shuji: I can also tell that you guys have a chance to be even better than Dan and his buddies.
Arata: Whoa, really?
Jay shook off his surprise as he smiled at Shuji.
Jay: Thanks, Shuji.
Shuji: However, once we beat Dan and his friends, we'll take you guys again!
Jay: And I say "bring it"!
Both Jay and Shuji bumped fist. Nene was surprised at how Shuji was acting but smiled at the scene. Suddenly, Akira stood between them.
Akira: Um… I know this is sudden, but…
Akira suddenly moved in front of Aria holding his notebook with his head lowered.
Akira: Can I have your autograph?!
Aria: Huh…?
Aria was a little surprised at this while Shuji and Nene were dismayed at Akira's behavior.
Nene: Akira! Really?!
Akira: Come on, you guys are a fan of Aria Grace too!
Nene blushed red while Shuji looked away, embarrassed.
Nene: Akira!
Aria: That's alright, who wants to get my autograph first?
This made Akira, Nene and Shuji (the two snapped out of their embarrassment) excited.
Akira, Nene, and Shuji: ME!
After giving each other her autograph, the siblings left to go back home.
Shuji: See ya at the Tournament!
Jay: Same!
Jay waved back at them as they left the Park, leaving the trio alone near the fountain.
Jay: So, now what?
Arata: Time stopped when we Brawl so we still have to wait for Dan to come.
This made Leonidas upset.
Leonidas: Really?! We have to wait again?!
Aria: Well, Kyubis wanted to have a match with Leonidas again. Care for another battle?
Jay looked at Leonidas on his shoulder.
Jay: What do you think, Leo?
Leonidas: I beat that Fox once, so I can do it again!
Kyubis: Don't be so sure. Things will be different, Leo~.
-Wardington, Earth-
Meanwhile, Runo and Marucho were seen walking down the streets taking a bottle juice drink.
Marucho: Say, where is Dan anyway? I haven't seen him.
Runo: Oh, he was gonna help that kid and his friends to prepare for the Battle Royal.
Marucho frowned when he heard her talking about Jay, the one who's partnered with Leonidas.
Marucho: His Bakugan, Leonidas, he still makes me feel unease. I still haven't found any information about him.
Runo agreed with Marucho.
Runo: Yeah. Me and Tigrerra don't trust that Bakugan.
They passed near an alleyway as Runo looked around… until she suddenly stopped when she saw someone unconscious laying on the floor.
Runo: Huh?!
Marucho: What's wrong?
Runo: There's someone unconscious over there!
Marucho noticed it and they quickly went to him. Runo turned him around and was shocked to see it was Dan.
Runo: Dan?!
Marucho: What happened to him?!
Tigrerra and Preyas jumped off their partners and found Drago's ball form on the floor as well.
Tigrerra: Drago is unconscious too!
Preyas: Quick! Call 911!
Suddenly, Dan moved as he opened his eyes.
Dan: Urgh…
Runo: Dan! Are you okay?!
Dan looked at both of his friends.
Dan: Runo… Marucho…
Marucho: What happened to you and Drago?
Dan grunted before speaking.
Dan: A brutal Bakugan… he beat Drago badly…
He then lost consciousness again.
Runo: Dan!
Marucho: We have to give him first aid!
Outside the alleyways, Sam and Swiftor were taking a stroll around the City until they saw Runo and Marucho dragging an injured Dan.
Sam: What the?! What happened to him?
Swiftor: Whatever it is, they need help.
Sam quickly went to them.
Sam: Hey! What happened to Dan?!
Runo and Marucho turned to Sam and recognized him.
Runo: Hey, you're the one who fought in the Tag-Team Tournament. Sam, right?
Marucho: There 's no time for that, Runo! We have to bring Dan to Hospital!
Knowing how serious this is, Sam took out his phone.
Sam: I'll call Aria's chauffeur! She brought me here so she's close by!
Runo: Hang on, Dan. You and Drago are gonna be okay.
-Park, Wardington, Earth-
Back at the Park, Jay, Arata and Aria were heading back to the fountain after buying ice cream. Leonidas, meanwhile was very moody as he was closed in his ball form on Jay's shoulder.
Jay: Come on, Leo, it was a good match.
Leonidas: Grrr…
Aria: I guess Leonidas isn't used to losing.
-Flashback-
Aria: Ability card, activate! Radiant Light!
Kyubis' body glowed yellow as it emitted a wave that started to drain Leonidas.

Haos Kyubis(37080=450Gs)
Kyubis attacked Leonidas and defeated him.
-End of Flashback-
Aria: He'll demand a rematch one day. Right, Kyubis?
Kyubis: (Giggles)...
Leonidas only grunted again at her laugh. Suddenly, Jay's Bakugan was beeping.
Jay: Huh? It's Sam. He sended us a message.
Jay read the message, and his eyes widened on shock.
Jay: Huh? What's this? But… what the?!
Leonidas opened his ball form as he looked at Jay curiously.
Leonidas: What's wrong?
Jay: Sam says that Drago was beaten by some Bakugan! And Dan is injured too!
Aria and Arata were shocked at the news, while Leonidas was curious.
Leonidas: Really? Did he say which Bakugan beat them?
Jay: Nope, just that it's a very brutal Bakugan. Who would do that?
With nothing much else to do, all they could do is worry about Dan and Drago.
