Dillon had ran off and was found by Joe who had came up to him; "Dillon... What the hell... Did you not think about what would happen if you got wet... I put my life on the line there; hoping that you would not mess it up and catch me so that we could get started on a successful partnership... Now it's ruined... A man just died thanks to this..." Joe then snapped at Dillon who angrily then faced him and sent a blast in his rage.
"I know that Joe! I can fix this!" Dillon snapped at Joe who yelled as he was then thrown to the ground and was now not moving. Dillon was open mouthed at this; wondering if he had killed his roommate as well. He heard police sirens and there were news vans coming up to his panic. Peter then swooped in wearing his for now only functional Spider-Man suit. "You! What are you doing here?" Dillon snapped as Peter slowly walked up to him.
"Chill... Relax... Electro is it? I know that you haven't gotten the hang of your powers; believe me as I think I needed some practice myself... I know it was an accident what happened... We can straighten this out... I could help you..." Peter then told him and Dillon then angrily sent a blast at him and he had to use his Spider-Sense to dodge. "I am trying to help... I know your powers aren't waterproof so... You accidentally killed someone but... The great responsible thing is to..." Peter then said as Dillon looked at him with a scoff.
"It's all over for this gig now... I only put this costume together so that I could get rich doing what you haven't thought of doing yet... I got Joe to stage that rescue so that I could be impressive when I reveal myself... I was supposed to have all sorts of deals..." Dillon asked as Peter stared at him. "You know... I could still claim a small fortune to run from town with..." Dillon said looking at an ATM machine and then blasted at it with him grabbing what money notes he could get.
"Come on now... You're just being a criminal now!" Peter then said at him firing webs at Dillon who managed to use his electricity to zap at the webs before they caught him. Dillon then grabbed a discarded plastic bag and began putting what he could into the bag. Peter began firing at him with his web and said "if you are going to act like that then I will treat you like the others... Did you poke your eye out putting that mask on? Is it cold being out in the rain like that?" Peter asked as Dillon then surrounded himself with electricity and then sent out an electrical blast all around him sending Peter back.
Dillon then began flying up in the air sending out blasts and it caused a car to go flying and Peter then managed to catch it just before it could hit Eddie. "Come on now... Eddie; is it? You are more like to win a Darwin award then a journalism award at this rate!" Peter then told him seeing that he was recording with his phone out.
Dillon then excitedly shouted out that he felt the power within him but then yelled as the rain seemed to be short circuiting him and not using so much of his power at once caused him to faint onto the ground. "That's pretty anti-climatic... Thanks Mother Nature; I owe you one!" Peter said as he webbed up Dillon and took off his mask. "If this was a movie; I would say... It's the butler! But I have no idea who he is..." Peter muttered as the police came and he then handed Dillon over to the police and then left before they could aim their guns at him.
Peter made it back to the alleyway and changed back when Felicia grinned walking in. "Felicia! Is that Electro thing sorted out... I was hiding here scared..." Peter then said coming up with an excuse.
"I saw you walking in there... The spider thing really did thing to your chest as I came in and saw you with your shirt off as you had the suit on... Let this cat catch your tongue..." Felicia whispered to Peter as she then grabbed at his backpack before he took it back. Peter looked nervous as he shook his head; "Don't try to deny it... i have no video or picture... I won't say a word to anyone... Except to you privately... Let's keep it our own little secret..." Felicia whispered to Peter with a gulp as Mary Jane came in.
"Is this where you were hiding? You scared me tiger when I realised that you were gone!" Mary Jane said in an admonishing voice as Peter calmed down a bit as Felicia nodded.
"We both hid here; didn't we... tiger?" Felicia said and gave a teasing tone to saying 'tiger'; Peter could only nod. "That's good... It's all over now... Spider-Man took care of dangerous electric guy..." Mary Jane then said as Eddie grinned.
"I got up close and personal footage of the fight! Now we have a guy who flies and shoots lightning... That's pretty crazy... Still I get to post this coverage!" Eddie then said excitedly with a grin as Peter rolled his eyes.
"And extend your grounding as your dad finds out that you snuck out of your home!" Peter then aid as Eddie waved it off.
"He is so dismissive of me and my blog; took the thing reaching the news to take notice... If he even looks; I will say that I got the video and pictures from elsewhere..." Eddie said as Felicia grinned.
"You know Mary Jane... I kind of wonder how hot the spider guy is inside that suit? How sweating he must be in all of those clothes he has on!" Felicia said with a grin giving a side eye to Peter who was a bit red in the face and gave her a bit of a glare.
In a small lab area in an abandoned subway station; Aaron Davis was wearing a dark green bodysuit with a dark purple symbol and put on the prototype anti-gravity boots he had put together along with a pair of gauntlets that had claws built into them. He then gave a run as he ran up to the roof of the station with his boots and used the claws in his gauntlet to started climbing on his knees as he then kept on going and then reached the bottom and then went off. "Tests are going great... A few more and some more checks on the system and I can make sure that Oscorp can't misuse what I came up with!" Aaron then said grinning as he looked to the dark purple full face mask he had on his lab's table with white lenses.
"First spider people, now people with robotic arms and now electric people... What is this world coming to... Are you okay?" May asked Peter in a phone call as he reached the apartment.
"Relax Aunt May... Everything was fine... We ran and stayed safe when we realised something was going on... We had a nice time... Introduced MJ to Eddie more properly and... Felicia found us!" Peter then admitted as there was tutting.
"Her again? You be careful with that girl... I don't want to hear about her using you again... Plus with that record she has..." warned May and Peter then sighed and they said goodbye to eachother. Peter then had a call coming in with another number.
Peter sighed as he didn't think to remove the number; "What do you want Felicia? Is it to negotiate your silence?" Peter asked as Felicia laughed on the other end.
"I meant what I said and though I'm surprised to find you were that Spider-Man... Seeing him all swinging about all carefree and the fun in the quips... But then I found out that he went after a certain criminal after... Sorry... I got suspicious but today confirmed when I saw my ex putting the suit on... Had to say I thought that I was celeb crushing on the spider! You know if you needed a partner; I have the medals of the athletics and gymnastics contests I have done... Plus some self defence training..." Felicia replied on the other end as Peter shook her head.
"Don't even think about it... Putting aside that I don't fully trust you; this is dangerous and you are just a human... I have these powers and... Thanks for agreeing to stay silent... Until next time Felicia..." Peter then said ending the call.
"Felicia and Eddie... Two people I get mixed up in that gives me trouble..." Peter told himself with a smile.
Peter's joke when unmasking Electro is inspired by the same one from Electro's first appearance; the panel is actually in the hall of fame in the Tumblr page Thanks Steve Ditko which reviews the early Lee/Ditko Spidey comics issue by issue. It's ran by the overseer of more famously the Thanks Ken Penders Tumblr page which is dedicated to the most infamous man to ever work on the Sonic IP in an official capacity. The blog for the issue in question; pointed out that it's them doing the Lex Luthor not knowing who Barry Allen is after unmasking in Justice League Unlimited decades before that show was ever an idea.
