3rd Person POV
Once long ago, on a late summer afternoon, amidst the beginnings of what would become the bloodiest and most terrible war that the land had seen; to two women, three children were born. Many will come to say, "born to be enemies, fated to be allies," for they were born to the opposite sides of the war.
The eldest two a set of twins, Princesses Sanura and Lillian, born to the Lady Aphrodite, the Goddess of love and beauty, and Aslan, the Great Lion of Narnia. The princesses were trained in all areas of royal life as they grew up, however, their knowledge was limited. They begged to be trained in the art of war, their reasoning was sound though, even if they were only three. Do not worry though they did not touch any weapons real or fake till they were considered old enough by General Orion (the general of Narnia's army).
The youngest child, also was a little princess though not in Narnia. She was Princess McKenzie, daughter of Jadis, the White Queen to her followers (or to the Narnians, the White Witch) and Lord Hades, the God of the Underworld. She to trained in the art of war, though not by wish, starting at the age of five.
When the girls where five there was a great battle near the castle of Cair Paraveil, the home of the twins. They were supposed to be in the caves under the castle but had slipped away to see what was happening. Atop the tallest tower they watched as their people were slaughtered. The enemy did not care if those they slew was a warrior, knight, or even a child. They looked on in horror and knew deep in their hearts one thing and only one thing.
That which they uttered to the other in perfect unison, "I have to help them."
So, they did. Grabbing their wooden swords, that they had just been given two days prior, and raced to the aid of their people.
Now I know what you are most likely thinking, "that they did not make it." Well, that is not exactly what happened. They had plenty of injuries but due to their small size, accidental magic, and no small amount of shear luck they survived. Not only did they survive, but they also changed the entire tide of the battle, allowing Narnia to win. Over the next three years, despite every attempt to keep them away from battles made by everyone in the castle alongside their parents, they continued to fight. Their reasoning, well they could not just stand by and just let their people die when they knew in their hearts that they could help.
As for McKenzie, she waited as she did not want anything to do with the war. Even went as far as to ask, "why they were even at war to begin with?" She did not get an answer.
When the girls finally met, it was on the battlefield when they were eight winters old. Sanura and Lillian's parents had been forced to allow them to fight after running out of places to lock the girls away during battles. It was this first battle that would change the world.
Sanura had been captured, and even to this day no one knows how; not even her. But she escaped with the help of McKenzie. When she got home, she immediately started to try and convince her parents to allow her to play as bait to get the other girl out. She eventually won the argument that ensued, and she was right, McKenzie took the offer of going with Sanura back to Cair Paraveil.
The years went by, and the three princesses became the best of friends. Many came to call them the chaos triplets, for they were always playing pranks or up to something they were not supposed to be. But they were all loved by the Narnian people, (McKenzie had feared that because of her mother they would hate her).
When their tenth birthday came though everything changed. That day the three uttered a prophecy that unlike any they had given before, would change the course of their very lives. None now live that know it in full verse and rhyme, but all have heard of the Prophecy of the Twelve Kings and Queens.
Due to their roles as future Narnian queens as described by the prophecy Aslan chose to send them to the world of the first King and Queen of Narnia. Aslan sent them as babes to give them a chance at being children and for that reason also blocked their memories of Narnia. The three princesses became Sanura and Lillian Longsworth and McKenzie Evans. And that is where our story truly begins…
