"So other than that, it's been little to no trouble so far."

Mina was holding hands with Izuku with Kyoka next to Momo. Momo was to Izuku's left so as to not make him feel left out of the conversation. These four were always accustomed to talking through their IM chat and never ran out of subjects to talk about even when they spoke on the phone. It was rare when they hung out in the past, but now it was a rather easy affair to spend time once they met up. A daily meeting at school had little effect on the quality and volume of their chats.

"Isn't a puppy like that liable to grow up to be rather vicious? They're known to be aggressive aren't they?"

"No way! They used to be called nanny dogs before crappy people started abusing those poor babies into such ugly things. She's gonna be a big'ol marshmallow when I'm done with her!"

The conversation was mostly Mina sharing about her new puppy she got as congratulations for her successful entrance into UA. Momo learned something new with the information being shared by Mina after she had spent months researching pitbull dogs. Kyoka and Izuku just remained silent and listened in with interest to their own romantic interests. While the more vocal people of the group were busy the two other friends just had their own private conversation with gestures and hand signals they made up on their lonesome that they still used to this day. It wasn't enough to carry full on conversation, it still made enough communication possible for them to enjoy each other's company.

"Did you all wanna come see her? Izuku? Kyoka?"

Momo unfortunately had to take off early with her lessons being in about thirty minutes, but promised to visit over the weekend when she had time. The quartet exited the front doors just as Momo bid her farewells with each person there. Not a single one of them could ignore how soft she felt or how it was some sort of lavender scent she wore as they hugged closely for their goodbyes. Izuku still couldn't muster the courage to say anything about how Momo had the tendency to press her hips against his own everytime they hugged. At first he thought it was a mistake, but after experimenting there was definite intention to her physical contact that Momo never exactly denied whenever he brought it up in conversation. The other two weren't so reserved about it as he was.

Momo jogged away and all of their eyes couldn't help but gravitate to her rather plump looking cheeks just barely covered up by the school skirt. They all just kept on their way to Mina's house to visit her new puppy for the start of the new school year.

"Yo, Mina; I almost forgot to mention that there's a band playing at the local joint near my house. Wanna come and watch it with me this sunday?"

"Hmmm, sure! Did you want Izuku there too?"

There was a rather heavy undertone of sensuality that was correctly interpreted as her wanting both of them on a date at the same time for that night. Both were not unfamiliar with each other's company, but it still made them a bit rosy to think of each other in such a scenario. They both were a little bit shy, but were happy to agree without hesitation. Right about when they agreed, a hand grasped Izuku's left shoulder where he still had a free hand to turn to come face to face with Iida.

"Oh, Iida! How are you?"

"I am very fine, thank you."

It was a little stiff at first but the ever dutiful Iida fell into pace with the remaining group easily enough. He didn't look like it, but he was actually very easy to talk to and was a rather pleasant presence for any group of friends. They all talked about the day and how it was such a drag to deal with their new homeroom teacher's antics.

"I'm not quite sure where the line of unethicality is with Aizawa-sensei. He did help get us to perform, but was a lie necessary?"

All three of them realized that he was a rather earnest person in comparison to his stoic outer appearance. Again the previous notion they had about him was a bit of a sore point as Iida proved himself to be anything except undermining or self-serving.

"Hey guys! Hey!"

Behind the group there was a familiar voice chirping at them for their attention. They all turned to see the bubbly cutie Ochaco waving and running towards them with a smile like a golden retriever. Everybody except Iida thought she was just cute enough for them to just take her to their own house for a bit of personal studies if they could.

"Hello! You must be Tenya Iida! You're Modoriya Izuku, then Kyoka Jiro, and finally Ashido Mida!"

"Mina, but I think I can forgive you."

Ochaco couldn't deny that this girl smelled sweet and all sorts of tasty. It was a rather new experience for her since up until now she never noticed such things from other girls. Mina was rather forward as she hooked a finger under Ochaco's chin to get the girl to look at her in the eyes. Some students and everyone else in the group looked on with interest to see where this was going. Ochaco was almost overwhelmed by such a forward girl considering it was her apparent boyfriend she wanted to talk to. This was a rather confusing affair for the innocent girl.

"Uh, ah, uh, yeah… Okay."

Mina gave the girl a small giggle that got something in Ochaco to boil up ever so slightly. They then resumed their exit out of the school grounds and were passing a group of student's congregating around a familiar van that was providing cheese pizza with a choice of toppings for fifty yen each. Again, it was Iida who was rather unfamiliar with such a sight as this.

"Guys! Over here!"

Everyone approached the exit door to Haru's kitchen as he beckoned them all towards him with his right hand. They got past the crowd and managed to get themselves at the entrance to his kitchen at the back of the van. Finding the crowd a bit stuffy; Haru made an announcement to help thin things out a little.

"Everyone who has already made a purchase, please move along to allow others to line up for their share!"

Over eighty five percent of the group left at the announcement and left enough space for the rest of the student's waiting to order their own slice of pizza. While taking orders and moving at blinding speeds was impressive enough; it was the fact that Haru didn't break a sweat and was even talking to the rest of the teens at his van that impressed only Iida.

"Hey guys! Sorry if I seem a bit busy right now. How was your first day? Any trouble? Good first impressions? Lay it on me."

Kyoka was the first to share her personal take on things, followed by Izuku and then Ochaco.

"Wait, you know Haru-san? How?"

It was a fair question posed by Kyoka as he had a rather large presence in all of their lives. It was Haru who was the one who was sharing the tale of how it was he and the brunette first met. Mind you he was still cooking and filling orders at a speed that was keeping the line at less than four students at a time.

"Oh, yeah! First time I met her was when I got a flat tire near where she lived. I was swapping a tire when suddenly my van went up in the air out of nowhere. When I went looking for the reason why it was suddenly flying out of nowhere I found this girl l-MFMFFFFMRR!"

Ochaco was scarlet red as she dove for the man's mouth with both hands out to plug his mouth. There was another bit of info she would rather bury in that story. Lucky for her it was a kitchen that Haru knew like he was the kitchen itself. Any other cook would have either slipped or spilt something that would have resulted in serious injury. He was able to keep the slice of pizza he was about to serve in his hand without dropping it. A secret she would rather not share; she silenced Haru and got him to understand how embarrassing that part of their history was for her. Her hands came loose and allowed Haru to clarify on what he was about to say.

"Sorry. I was about to say that she was loading the van down with rocks to keep it from flying away… Yeah, that."

He tended to be a crap liar in situations like this. It wasn't that by any reasonable assumption, but it wasn't their business to probe right now. Haru got back to serving the students who were still waiting for their slices of pizza while Ochaco collected herself and just got back to what it was she was here for in the first place.

"Alright, Ochaco. Uniform's in their usual place. Get changed and we'll get started."

The girl didn't even hesitate to go for a specific cabinet where there was a uniform set with a black shirt and blue jeans that were likely to be comfortable for this sort of work. She went into the front of the van and drew a curtain and began changing into her separate attire. Iida tried to keep his common decency; the other three were letting their imaginations run rampant over what it was that was happening on the other side of the curtain. Ochaco knew what to press in the front cabin to black out the windows so that she could change into her work attire. It took no time at all for her to return with her work attire with a flourish of the curtain being ripped to the side and Haru tossing the teenager her work apron where she tied it off at her waist with an unnatural speed. The previously bubbly girl was now in an intense focus over a pile of vegetables that Haru simply placed next to her at the sink.

An impressive amount of dexterity was used by Ochaco as she began preparing all of the vegetables Haru had started the teen girl on. Seeing these two move in tandem and in rhythm was rather satisfying to see. The orders were moving so quickly that there was no line anymore for the rest of the students queued up.

"By the way, Mina?"

"Ah, yes Haru-san?"

"Send me pics of your new pitbull. That little gal has got to be all sorts of cute that I don't want to miss out on."

Mina agreed as both Ochaco and Haru started their routine of working in the van and it was an amazing display of dexterity that all of them couldn't help but admire for the rest of the day.

The Next Day

UA was known for being this unapproachable titan of a school that only trained and exported the best of the best and nothing else. Seeing Present Mic teach English was not something that anybody in that very classroom had expected.

"Which of these four sentences are incorrect?"

On the holoboard there were four english sentences that were displayed for the class to respond to. A few of the student's here knew who it was that was best suited to answer this question. A hand went up and the teacher was rather caught off guard with what he got.

"Yes, Kyoka-san?"

Everything that poured out of her mouth was perfect english. It was not intentional since this was something that was instinctive for her to do from her other lessons on the same subject.

"The fourth sentence is structured awkwardly with 'that' referring to the subject of the sentence. For something that would ask for a similar demand it would be more suitable to say 'Please tell me everything you know' since it is referencing the frame of intention for how much of the demanded subject they have requested from the intended party. Also…"

Present Mic was edged out of the lesson as Kyoka was clearly the person in the room most familiar with the information being taught. All that was missing from Kyoka's long winded explanation was her standing in front of the class with a teacher's outfit. Izuku found it difficult to sit still with the image of Kyoka standing over his desk in a tight dress shirt and pencil skirt with a blazer that accented her narrow waist. Imagining her focus so intently on the teen and demanding that he perform better was enough of a distraction that he could only manage to keep his eyes closed for the rest of the period. That didn't help as it only made it easier to fantasize such a sight. Momo was much more subtle with her mental image. Mina was certain that it would be no problem for her to get Kyoka to play along with what she wanted out of the tomboyish classmate.

Lunchtime

The kitchen was bustling with students making their orders for their meals to the fully staffed cafeteria. Many of the meals made in UA were considered gourmet by the standards of the public and were priced for the convenience of the student's no matter the socioeconomic restrictions they were faced with. A rather famous gourmet hero was even going around to make his introduction to those he was to serve for the year.

"Good day, everyone! How is everything? Anything to say about the rice?"

It was Lunch Rush who was staffed in the kitchen at UA. A legendary food-based hero that made his name known through both his heroism and the gourmet world. Izuku was the only person at the table who had any actual significant interest as the rest of the table had their own meals in front of them. They all wanted to give the cafeteria the benefit of the doubt, but it was a rather lacking experience so far in comparison to what was just outside the school gates.

"Oh yes, very good!"

Ochaco was happily munching away at her own lunch when Momo returned with a rather extravagant bento with all sorts of delicate spring ingredients prepped like it was a showcase of aesthetic beauty rather than actually being food. Nobody could look away from her customized lunch that she arrived with.

"I'm sorry I'm late! The food truck outside was a little busy and Haru-san was barely able to get this to me by the time-"

The table that the teenagers were congregating at launched all of their lunches up in the air by a few centimeters and spilt a few of their bowls of soup. Only Ochaco and Momo had intact trays with undisturbed food. The gourmet hero who was just a few moments ago rather amicable was now leaning over all of them with a sinister air about him.

"... Didi you say… Haru?... As in… Nakamura Haru?"

Momo was only able to manage a small nod before the hero bolted out of the cafeteria towards the exit. They later learned that there was an impromptu cooking competition in front of the school involving Lunch Rush and the food truck owner where the results were rather skewed for how many kids were there. Not everyone could taste the results; so a majority of the rumors came from surrounding students who were only able to see the competition. Haru actually asked the judges that tasted their results to just stay silent about the results to preserve the hero's pride. Without that, the hero was certainly at risk of losing even the lunch period to Haru.

Afternoon

The practical exercises were now in effect for the rest of the day.

"I am going through this door!"

The ridiculous posture the hero took as he entered was completely overshadowed by everybodies admiration of the hero himself. He was dressed in a rather loud costume with bright red as the primary color of the outfit.

Tsuyu was rather vocal about certain details that she noticed about All Might's costume. Seems as though Izuku wasn't the only one true fan in the class. More student's chimed in about other small details before All Might made the official Introduction he was supposed to make about two minutes ago.

"Welcome to Hero Basics! As the official instructor for this course I will be subjecting you through the many scenarios that many of you shall encounter as heroes out in society! For today's course it shall be… Battle!"

For three of the students in that room it meant that this was a rather serious exercise in testing their current abilities. Each was equipped with a reason that was both personal and demanding from each of them.

"With this introduction, comes these!"

All might swept his arm to his right and out from the walls were numbered cases with numbers correlating with their seating numbers. Their costumes were ready for them and each had their own reasons to exist as they did. Izuku's was a bit of a trip into reality with the state within his own home.

Three Weeks Ago

It was a rather heavy choice for Izuku to decide on a singular costume design. He was hovering over the many drawings he sketched up himself and it suddenly dawned on him how he was registered as 'none' for a quirk assignment when he registered for UA. It was between his two mentors to get additional information for this situation. All Might actually attended UA so it was a decisive victory. Also, Haru was out with his mother on an errand and he would rather not get involved with that sort of thing if he could help it.

"Quirk registration? You can change that at any time."

It was that easy. Quirks by nature are rather complex when you take a closer look at their functions. Something like turning water into ice could be something that would allow somebody to simply slow down the molecules in anything they come in contact with. These sorts of specifics were common to recognize later and it was often that the public were requesting that these sorts of updates be allowed.

"We're home!"

Izuku hung up out of a panic as he heard two sets of footsteps make their way towards the living room. He felt rather guilty as the door swung open with his mom and Haru right behind her. They exchanged pleasantries and with that out of the way; Haru noticed the notes that Izuku had laid out on the coffee table.

"... What is this; a bunny suit?"

It took less than half a second for a pan to collide with Haru's head. It was still in the air as Haru realized that he needed to keep it from hitting the floor and revealed to Izuku that she threw a skillet at Haru's head unabashedly. He caught the metal cooking ware before it hit the ground and hid it behind his back before Izuku could look back up to see what had caused that clanging sound in the first place.

"Ah, I mean, It's something that I could see as… All Mightish?"

He shot a glare at Inko who simply looked over her shoulder and arched her back to emphasize the ass that Haru was rather enamored with from the single mother. She had discovered how durable Haru had been a while back and as they got more and more intimate the realization that pissing off Haru was a surefire way to get him to go all out during their lovemaking was something she enjoyed and anticipated occasionally. He glared at the woman with the sworn promise that he would do all sorts of unholy things to her when they were alone later. She licked her lips and made him uncomfortably erect besides her son. God fucking dammit.

"Well, If you wanna roll with it, then roll with it kiddo."

Haru excused himself urgently and exited to the kitchen where he traded places with Inko in talking to Izuku. Some mumbling between them before some moaning and whispering led to Inko returning to the living room a bit flushed to talk to her son. She straightened herself a bit before sitting down to talk to her son.

"Uh… Oh, right!"

The single mother, in context, reached into one of the bags that she left by the couch and revealed a jumpsuit that looked to be rather expensive to her son. Green, just like their hair color. Izuku's mom looked at Haru who was preparing dinner for the family and spoke in a hushed tone to Izuku.

"Izuku, I wanted to confess something."

As a son who was clueless to the secret about to be revealed to him; all he could do was remain silent to hear what it was that his own mom wanted to share with him.

"... When you were diagnosed to be quirkless, I was certain that it was my fault."

The son could still remember that night when they returned home. His mom was rather emotionally distraught and was talking in the background when Haru came in and instilled values that led to Izuku meeting some amazing people and guiding the boy towards a brighter future.

"I didn't know what else to do when I heard of the news. I almost made the worst mistake of my life before he stopped me…"

Izuku could see the look that his mom gave Haru as the man was almost done making dinner for the family. This family lacked the figure that was financially supporting them for years at this point. Izuku wanted to ask his mom to just divorce his dad to just let Haru be his father after the years of estrangement and neglect that his biological father justified with a check and nothing else. It was still his mom's decision to do what she wanted with her love life and still they both wanted to share more than what Inko was willing to set forth.

"Had I told you what it was I wanted to say; I would have hurt you more than helped you… But I didn't. After all these years, I still wanted to blame myself. Without him, I would have done just that and made you suffer out of my weakness…"

A man who spent years away from his family with nothing but a paycheck wasn't a father. Haru wanted to support this family in every way possible. He loved Inko, he watched over Izuku, it was clear who it was that was protecting this family. It was the lack of a spouse that made it difficult for Inko. As much as Haru wanted to be her significant other, there were certain things he needed to abide by before then. Izuku still had a biological dad. Despite his love for them, it was still another family he was treading upon. Such things were reality, and reality didn't give a fuck about what anybody simply wished for.

"I'm proud of you, Izuku! I can say that out of love and without having to look back at what I could have ruined…"

It seemed as though Izuku was reaching for the coverall that his mom bought for him out of guilt; in fact the boy wrapped his mom into a tight embrace and just said what it was he wanted his mother to know from him.

"You didn't ruin anything. You're my mom, how can I regret you?"

The family shared their tender moment while Haru was finishing up the family's dinner just then. It was everything he wanted as he looked at the family embracing one another with honest feelings. The rest of the night was just them being the family they wanted to be. Especially for Inko and Haru after Izuku fell asleep later that night.

Present Time

The suit Izuku designed and intended for the start was equipped and ready to go. He was the last to exit the tunnel leading into the training arena, but reaching the sunlight filled him with some sort of vitality that he had never felt before.

"Izuku!"

He was immediately tackled to the ground with his significant other straddling his torso. She looked at Izuku like a cheetah waiting to pounce onto a baby gazelle. I filled the teenage boy with fear and desire with what he saw through the visor of his suit. Mina was in a skin tight suit that was in her preferred leopard print design that she had always been preferable to. It did nothing to hide her voluptuous figure that he was proud that only he was privy to. The other men in the class were scared off with the glare he shot their direction with their eyes drifting over Mina.

"Gotta say; your suit is all sorts of interesting…"

She leaned into his ear to whisper her deepest wishes into Izuku's ear.

"So much to rip off of you; you really know how to get a girl going for your body…"

It really was a challenge for Mina to keep her hands off of Izuku. After months of Muscle training it was a treat whenever she could even touch Izuku. Underneath the suit he wore was a plethora of defined muscles she was fighting to resist touching in all sorts of sinful ways. What she wanted was to take Izuku into their usual dance studio and rake off every shred of clothing and just see how long it would take for either her or Izuku to break and take the other in a blind fury of lust.

"Ah, Izuku! You made it!"

Both Mina and Izuku looked up at Ochaco and the suit she unintentionally ordered made both people on the floor want to include her in whatever possible scenario they had planned with each other. They were under no assumption they lacked intimacy with just each other; it just was a strong lure that made things easier if they just embraced their instincts.

"Gotta say, I should have been more specific in ordering my suit! It's all skin tight. I can't say this is what I wanted from my first suit…"

She felt eyes on her from the first moment she put on the suit. It went over her head that those eyes were on her from the dressing room in the girl's locker room.

"The hero course is the-"

A rock out of nowhere beamed Mineta in the head and almost rendered the boy dead from it's trajectory. Kilometers away was somebody who was rather intent on making sure this boy's eyes were going to stay down.

A Few Kilometers Away

"Alright, now get to class!"

Haru was shooing a few students away who were trying to play bookie when they ran across his food truck. It took little convincing to get the teens on his part to get them to behave and embrace their heroic principles to pursue their dreams. Kids often just needed a bit of perspective. It was now an empty entrance where he was free to do whatever he wanted to do until the end of the school day. He was about to lean back in the driver's seat with the daily fishwrap when he felt his skin prick up in a rather uncomfortable way. Following his instincts led him to pick up a few smooth stones from around his truck and lob them in a general direction towards the sky. After thirty seconds or so he began to feel better and got back to his news of the day.

A Few Kilometers Back

The medical staff took Mineta away on a stretcher after stabilizing the bleeding from his head. With that out of the way, All Might continued his course work for the class.

"Now that we're here; It's about time we got started."

"Teacher!"

A familiar mature voice from the fully armored student next to Izuku revealed that it was Iida in that very costume.

"Are we to continue learning about navigating urban battles and environments?"

"Goodness, no!"

The class observed closely what All Might had to say on the matter.

"As you know; the Emergency Security Department in this country has made significant strides to define what it is that heroes are allowed to do in a free environment. Which department do they work directly with to ensure that the public infrastructure is preserved regardless of presented damages?"

A hand went up and it was from someone Izuku was familiar with. It was just a few personal stipends that kept him from being ideally personal with this individual. He didn't even realize that the sentiment was returned at this time.

"The Department of Public Development and Maintenance"

"Correct! A rather astute observation from Ms. Yaoyorozu!"

All Might began to review the restrictions on the laws that the ESD had implemented since such a new strict standard that heroes must comply with.

"Since the implementation of the Emergency Security Department; a new set of standards for public protection have been put into place. This exercise reflects this very sentiment that all of you must be familiar with when you begin to defend the public!"

More and more was revealed that this was no standard coursework for just any hero academy to undergo.

"Hero work is often recognized as being battles that take place outdoors. In the cases of being indoor or within compact spaces; what are the average repair costs of such events?"

It was Iida who wanted to demonstrate his knowledge in such scenarios.

"Seven hundred million yen per year, on average!"

"Indeed!"

This new regulation that has swept the nation was not an unwarranted one. There was often an incentive to act recklessly to stop acts of criminal activity before a review of the Japanese law with the ESD leading the public interest has led to a balanced opinion of heroism. The government police departments were seen as a joke for a few years before the implementation of the ESD. The ESD were such a success that even now there was a public perception that the accepted ESD applicants were even above those who were qualified to be heroes. They executed the necessary operative actions to reduce public dangers to practically zero with their presence. Their success was seen as something that rivaled the rise of heroism itself.

"Most villains or terrorists work within isolated environment with plenty of cover. Illicit drug trading and manufacturing, human trafficking, even the act of hostage negotiation and blackmail takes place indoors."

Momo shuddered at the memory of exactly that experience when she was nine. A hand caught hers and helped her relax enough to move on for the moment. She could simply tell by touch that it was Kyoka who was comforting her. They leaned on each other just a bit while All Might continued his long winded explanation.

"In the past year or so the government has begun an initiative to prevent such reckless destruction during rescues or other such things. Today, you shall be tested on your ingenuity as well as your physical abilities to complete your assignment!"

All Might posed to expose the rippling muscles in his back before making his announcement of the actual lesson.

"Team Battles!"

The rest of the class was in anticipation of what it would entail for this exercise. From out of the hall they came from; a woman wearing a snug office outfit with a pencil skirt and hair up in a bun came strutting out confidently. On top of the professional attire she wore glasses and had sharp features that went well with the ensemble. Most of the guys as well as a few girls in the class were following her with their eyes on some rather generous parts of her physique. With a sharp turn when she reached the front of the class the tablet she had brought out was now being used to bring up a holographic screen above her as she addressed the students.

"Today's exercise will consist of two opposing groups facing off in a simulated environment specially constructed for today. One side shall be titled heroes and their primary objective will be in reaching the pseudo-bomb awaiting them on the top floor. The defending party shall be labeled as the temporary villains and will be defending the point until either the heroes have been incapacitated or when the clock reaches zero."

Nobody in the class knew who this lady was or why she was here. It was certainly a well constructed presentation with all of her talking points being displayed concisely above her.

"Your time for the exercise shall be twenty minutes. Your scores will be determined by time completed, opponents eliminated, as well as the amount of square footage intact after the exercise."

There it was. Some guessed correctly that she was from the ESD. Specifically she was a liability agent that was sent here to grade the damages done and assist the teachers in handing out a grade for each student. She snapped her fingers and summoned several ESD medical staff that were dressed in the same attire as they were in during the entrance exams from the same tunnel she came from. They all lined up shoulder to shoulder with their equipment sealed away in the backpacks seated shut with some sort of hard casing.

"Although it is not encouraged; use of force will be expected as the two engaging parties carry out their tasks. We have top medical staff on standby in case of any serious case of ailment or injury inflicted. Are there any questions?"

Ever the diligent student he was, Iida raised his right hand to the agent and spoke when she gestured to him.

"How are the teams going to be determined?"

"You will all be selected at random to determine your partners as well as your opponents and position on the exercise field. As heroes you will often be forced to work with other heroes from other agencies with little rhyme or reason. With this in mind we determined this to be the best way to create similar conditions amongst such a small sample size of combatants."

There wasn't a single skip in her beat as she relayed information rather surgically for the class. After another few minutes of explanation; they all felt ready enough as they all remained silent at the second request of any lingering questions.

"Good. Medical team, standby."

The people in white uniform all began working together to assemble a temporary medical tent with foldable cots and stools with other equipment being prepped in case of injury at any point later on. Above the woman the holographic screen revealed two roulette spins going to determine the pairings for the mock battle. Mineta returned to the presentation in time for the first round of students. It took a few minutes for his classmates to update him on the rules while Ochaco and Izuku reviewed their plan of action.

"Gotta say, it's super lucky for me to get to fight with someone as amazing as you!"

Izuku was all the more flattered by the girl's genuine praise of his abilities. Even with that in mind there was a rather large roadblock in front of them in the form of both Iida and Bakugou on the opposing team. He knew that Bakugou was leagues ahead of him in terms of both raw firepower and fighting experience. This would be the first time he and Katsuki would share fists with one another. It was a lot to consider since Izuku was now just reviewing all of Bakugou's moves in his head. Every window and blind spot he knew about was the only thing he had over his former friend.

Meanwhile upstairs it was just Iida trying to formulate a plan with the ever frustrating Bakugou. Nothing he was saying was being heard since the blonde was already in his own headspace trying to formulate an ideal spot where he could strike from. It was fifty-fifty between the second or third floor stair entrance.

"Bakugou-san! We can't just stand around and wait for them to come in; we need to strategize. I can't just do this by myself and I need you to at least listen to what it is I have to- where are you going?!"

It was decided by Bakugou that maybe the third floor was the ideal place to start. Iida was left with defending the bomb by himself as his partner just walked away on his own. A few minutes later the time was announced by the agent from earlier. She stood just outside with her tablet active for interior camera work and an earpiece for communication with the rest of the class.

"Thirty seconds remaining."

That warning made Izuku and Ochaco choke down on their plan to approach from a second story window and see if they could lure at least one of the enemys posted up on the top floor. It was then announced to fifteen seconds; then ten, then five, and finally the countdown to the final second.

"Begin."

The clock was now running with every second mattering in a different way to both sides. Getting up to the second floor was easy enough. Keeping themselves quiet as they kept an ear out was all they could manage to do as they were checking every corner and listening for any other footsteps around them. Either the villains were on a different floor or were hiding from them actively with how silent it was. Four minutes in and they moved for the top floor with the intention of keeping the trip short and to the point. Ochaco was leading them and checked the third floor entrance for any signs of the other team. She gave the signal that it was clear for them to go to the next floor.

From overhead Izuku saw Bakugou drop down towards his teammate with his arm cocked back to hit the girl with a decisive blast. He was waiting for them while hanging from a busted light fixture that he smashed open to accommodate his hand. There was enough purchase in the recessed lighting for him to dangle and wait for the enemy team to approach from below. He guessed that since they would be too busy looking around corners it would be ideal to attack from above as a possible blindspot. He guessed right in this instance.

There was no time to warn his partner. One for All went right to work as Izuku tackled Ochaco to the floor with him flipping them over to take the brunt of the fall. Sliding to a stop at the wall opposite the stairs, Izuku saw Bakugou rise up from the smoldering ash of his attack.

"Huh, I missed…"

Standing back up straight, Bakugou looked at the two heroes on the floor like they were wounded baby antelopes. The predator was ready to hunt for his well-deserved victory.
