The digital roulette wheels began the next selection process and it was pairing Hagakure Toru with Mashirao Ojiro. They were placed as the villain team against Todoroki Shouto and Mezo Shouji. Before that could occur, there was a team of ESD agent's inside the battle arena that got to work to restore the building to a suitable enough condition to continue the exam. They were a part of the ESD Disaster Response with their equipment being uniquely specified for the destruction of property and other such related incidents. The building had agents going in to utilize their filler plates to fill in the gaps and holes inside of the building before the five minutes that the heroes had to plan started.

Teams of such agents were all equipped with specialized armored plates that shifted and expanded to cover large vacant spaces where a structure similar to a wall or floor used to exist before. These agents were actually newer trainees that utilized similar spaces around the country. No student that attended these hero academies were aware that the resting spaces in between each practice round was used by the ESD for their trainees. The purpose of these short and demanding exercises was to train their future operatives to become instantaneously familiar with their environments and utilize their equipment to their fullest capacity.

A common feature for ESD operations that the public noticed was that all the agents seemingly never use their quirks during operations they take a part of. No matter how much research one does on the internet, even to the dark web, there was no evidence that an ESD agent ever used a quirk during their service to the community. Fake videos of supposed ESD agents were often taken down instantly with the videographers going completely silent without a trace and the public forgetting them in a short amount of time. So much of their notoriety came from how well they were able to keep a secret from the public.

The battle arena was already patched up with thick plating substituting the missing sections of building that were taken out from the previous round. Both teams were surprised at the temporary fix as it looked rather sturdy for how little time had passed from when they got destroyed in the first place. At the fifth floor where the villain team resided; Mashirao Ojiro and Hagakure Toru were all set to go with their side of the lesson. Ojiro was a simple person who had a bit of an enhanced build with a tail that assisted him in his fighting. His uniform reflected this sentiment as it was nothing much else besides a gi and some boots to help him navigate the environment.

Hagakure was equipped with an invisible suit that shielded her body from most of the bare elements. She had initially designed the suit like it was something a surfer would have worn; but somebody she values as a source of information advised that she get more coverage in such a uniform for herself. It confused the girl for a moment to understand such a strange demand. When Haru made his case over how a design oversight as simple as walking barefoot was a mistake the teen scrapped the wetsuit design for something that would shield her a bit more thoroughly without compromising her stealth.

"I'm going full invisible! Gotta go gloveless…"

To Ojiro it was a rather obvious answer that should have come to Toru from the very beginning. An invisible person should have taken advantage of their natural abilities without input from others, given their advantages. Toru had no such experience as the person she tested her invisibility against time and time again pushed her to the edges and beyond in gaining a skill in being stealthy. Constant experimentation against her nemesis in stealth was something she never stopped at overcoming after years of struggling. The subtle influences that were fed to her through years of effort have shaped her into something she wasn't even aware of being.

First Floor

"I can sense one of them. Right now there's somebody on their team that I can't find."

Mezo made a statistical report for Todoroki as their time had finally started for their assault. The additional appendages he was able to produce were the idealized version of whatever appendage he summoned to those tentacles. More sensitive organs were what he favored since the ability to sense enemy movements was often a more critical priority in the battlefield. His often ridiculed physical appearance was met with judgment that he fought against from the beginning. Seeing Todoroki walk into the combat space with little hesitation was a refreshing sight for somebody who was often in the thick of conflicts surrounding him.

"Don't worry about it. If you can exit the building…"

Todoroki just entered the building with no hesitation of any sort and immobilized both villains without even reaching the first set of stairs.

"... This will be over in just a moment."

Toru was thankful for her mentor recommending that she not go barefoot for her superhero costume. The feet had a rather counterintuitive design to get people sick if there was enough exposure to the elements for blood flow to pick up on. Wearing nothing was enough to get people sick if they were not protecting their body temperatures enough. Before the world of quirks; who would have thought something as simple as an external heat insulator would have affected the human condition so drastically.

The whole building was turned into a negative zero space with Todoroki being the only person able to end the climate that held every opposing contestant hostage in this frozen prison. Toru was able to avoid pain thanks to the insulated soles of her suit keeping her feet off the floor. Without such insulation she was surely susceptible to feeling the skin peel of the bottom of her feet with Todoroki callously running through the exercise.

After the End of the Exercise

"Hagakure Toru. Your total damage liability is roughly estimated at zero yen."

She narrowly avoided a failing grade by the skin of her teeth. The lack of a quirk that made things go boom was the only thing that allowed her to continue on without a heavily judgemental grade.

"Todoroki Shouto. Your total damage liability is roughly estimated at three million yen."

All of the class was left speechless at such a harsh estimate from one of the most powerful quirk users in the room.

"Excuse me; may I ask what it was that I did that warranted such a heavy estimate?"

The woman who was at the lead with judging every student from class One-A with the ESD standard responded without skipping rhythm.

"You deemed it necessary to freeze not only the building that the villains utilized as a base of operations; the lower infrastructure that also dictated the neighboring buildings were also affected by your reckless use of your quirk."

This assignment was a huge reality check for those who were in the mindset that the more powerful and influential the quirk; the better the hero.

"Your inflicted damages were to be evaluated to be at the estimated value between the initial incident and the minimal acceptable period of two years past the instigating event. The internal damages of Japan's infrastructure are actually quite generous in comparison to what we proposed to be acceptable standards. You failed both of these standards."

A promising student like Todoroki Shouto was not seen as a failing student by any stretch of the imagination. All of this information was hard to contest as it was hard facts that he couldn't build a solid enough case against at the moment. He was a realist before he was anything else.

"... I apologize. I will accept these results as they are."

He was indeed marked as a failure on this assignment. The rest of the day passed by with all the rest of the students actually scoring higher than the more impressive cases that had been displayed throughout the day. Team C had half of their members heavily reprimanded by the end of the day. The team that Mina had been elected for failed her for lack of attendance and automatically approved both her partner and the enemy team through her lack of attendance of the activity. She didn't care as she didn't leave Izuku's side at the infirmary along with Ochaco who felt responsible for his physical state to a certain extent.

Inside the School Infirmary After School

"How on earth do you let your students get to such a sorry state during your classes?!"

Recovery Girl was yelling at All Might in his less imposing state with ESD security detail standing stoically beside her desk as well as outside her office doors. The impressive amount of security around her was a constant presence since she was a critical part of the UA system established before the ESD system existed. Their presence was something she didn't even notice at this point as they honestly did their best to be unnoticeable to the well respected hero.

"Several fractures and breaks in the ribcage, right arm completely demolished. Again!"

The hero's pride was further wounded with the rest of the diagnosis Recovery Girl was privy to that day.

"Internal bleeding, organ failure, internal bleeding, extensive contusions all over the body, second degree burns…"

"... You said internal bleeding twice."

"Why do you think I did?!"

There was nothing that All Might could justify against such a strong declaration of concern for the well damaged Midoriya Izuku.

"My quirk was barely able to heal him from last time! What did you do to your students to make them go through such extensive damage twice?!"

"... I'm sorry."

It was that statement to her that set the older hero off with how short sighted this supposed hero of the world was at times.

"Why are you apologizing to me?! I'm not the one lying on a hospital bed while recovering from impossibly painful injuries!"

All Might had no other options to yield to than to just duck his head down in shame.

"You're lucky the ESD has a medical department designed for such extreme scenarios! Without them; this boy would have been dead within thirty seconds!"

Neither All Might or Recovery Girl said anything with the ESD security staff standing ever so vigilantly inside and outside the room.

"... Leave us for a moment."

The ESD security detail bowed to Recovery Girl and left the room while still monitoring the room for potential threats through other means.

"... Why? This boy has been through enough as your successor. He doesn't need to go through another set of problems that already existed before you came along. This boy has his whole life ahead of him and all I can see is you doing nothing but shortening that potential…"

It was a harsh reality that All Might was likely the more harmful aspect of this teenager's life. He still didn't have much of a choice in his mind.

"He was my selected successor. This quirk is more than just me or this child. He was the one who I entrusted the future to; and I must see this through…"

"... Then teach him properly!"

The hero was caught off guard with the sudden declaration of morality from the medically associated hero.

"You've done nothing but throw him to the wolves and expect him to come out on top! It's a shock that this boy was able to survive under your guidance so far!"

Her harsh tone didn't let up as she continued to berate All Might. It was far from unwarranted; it was a serious miracle such a competent organization like the ESD was there to keep his successor from dying. Without them, he didn't know how he could justify his decision of Midoriya as his successor.

After School

The light headed teenager was barely able to navigate himself in a straight line. His head was ringing and his joints were creaking with every bit of movement he made. There was a sizable blank in his head as to whom it was that won the class exercise. When Izuku awoke the familiar face of Mina tackled him to the bed and required him to comfort her for some time before she was willing to let him up. Her soft body weighed down on him as he embraced her and felt like this was somewhere he needed to be. As complicated as his feelings were for others in his life; she meant something to him. To him, all of the art in the world couldn't make him leave her behind.

Her open idea to others wasn't enough for him to leave her behind. She was someone who was worth everything and it felt right for her to be with him no matter how much they went through. No matter the distractions, no matter the opponents, they knew who they were to each other.

Izuku was allowed up and out of the school eventually with the miracle healing that was Recovery Girl. Mina never left his side with every moment he was up and about on his own. He was able to meet up with Momo and Kyoka who both hugged and embraced him a little longer than what was established as acceptable before. What made things a bit more complicated was when Mina embraced Momo and they both looked into each other's eyes with their foreheads touching. Izuku was close to becoming a part of that moment when Kyoka interrupted them. Kyoka was even giving Izuku a funny look that made him feel a bit funny himself as he and Mina departed for home that day.

Inside the classroom the familiar face of Ochaco approached Izuku with a heavy air of apprehension out of guilt that she was sure she was entitled to. He affirmed that all that she felt there was out of her insecurity; she had nothing to feel guilty of as there was no obligation to him she had from any of their interactions. After hours was an odd time for students as there was no additional obligation for them to stay after hours. His ever dutiful partner engaged with Ochaco to ease his guilt and was allowed him to be wherever he needed to be as he was barely able to catch Katsuki as he left the school grounds.

"Ka-chan!"

The boy about to walk off campus was certainly less than amused with the sudden reminder of what had just transpired. He looked back at Izuku with a rather indifferent look of interest as Izuku simply kept approaching him to an insufferable degree. This was just another moment of generosity in Katsuki's mind as he recognized his former childhood friend.

"... I still don't know what it is I need to say right now…"

A rather anticlimactic end to this meeting between former friends. Both teenagers were just standing at the entrance of the school with nothing to say to one another.

"... At the very least I think I owe you a thanks at least."

Bakugou turned to face Midoriya as he spoke out of honesty for how it was he felt that he was where he was in comparison to Katsuki.

"After all I went through; It's because of my experiences with you that I was able to meet somebody like Mina in my life…"

It was difficult for the blonde to keep up appearances while somebody who he still couldn't turn away was still being so forgiving and positive towards him.

"I still see you as somebody who won't give up on themselves… I just hope that someday I can-"

"-Shut the fuck up…"

Izuku was silenced by a rather direct and informal request to get him to clam up.

"What do you know about me? I'll tell you right now…"

Bakugou faced Izuku with eyes damp with tears struggling to make their debut.

"Jack shit! Who or what I am is none of your fucking concern!"

It was like Izuku was back in that hallway trying to fend off Katsuki with whatever he had available. There was a desperate edge to Bakugou's voice as the blonde kept ranting on about whatever it was he was unleashing his feelings about.

"You! You're just… You couldn't possibly imagine…"

It was far too much that Bakugou had held against the unsuspecting Midoriya. There was no reason for Bakugou to hold his frustrations into the point where he felt like absolute boy was capable of so much more; it just was unfortunate that everything was as complicated as it was.

"Kid!"

A rush of air past Izuku was then followed up with the sight of All Might trying his best to turn this whole awkward affair on its head. He stopped Bakugou from leaving with a firm hand on his shoulder and turned the boy slightly to face him.

"I gotta say, I am thrilled to have you as one of my students! I just wanted to let you know that it's important to reflect on one's actions and-"

"Don't touch me. Mark my words; one day I'll-"

Bakugou was cut off with a hand that landed on his head of wild blonde hair. Behind the frustrated teenager stood his long time mentor with his left hand in his jacket pocket. On the front of the jacket was a name tag that had the word visitor and his last name to indicate he was indeed registered with a visitor pass. He just looked at the boy with a sympathetic stare and a sad smile.

"You shouldn't talk like that to your elders, kiddo. You know better than that."

All Might backed up a bit to let the two of them have their space since it looked as though Haru was having an easier time of dealing with Katsuki.

"Anyways, I heard you did well for your first hero assignment. Gotta say I'm proud that you pulled ahead."

In stark contrast to All Might grabbing the boy by his shoulder, Bakugou actually didn't say or do much in reaction to Haru just gently ruffling his hair. It was even a bit of a surprise to see Bakugou just start wiping his tears away and let Haru comfort him.

"Your mom's a little busy, so she asked me to come pick you up for dinner. Anything you want?"

"... Burger and fries…"

"Can do. Izuku!"

The green haired boy behind All Might stood to attention a bit surprised to hear his name called out. He stood to attention for no good reason other than he was a little startled.

"Uh, yes?!"

"C'mon, let's get some grub."

It still surprised the hero how these kids respected Nakamura even after everything that had happened so far. Just now he was certain the blonde needed nothing more than his distance and space to cool his head. Haru just walked up to Katsuki and told him to have dinner with not just him; Izuku, who he beat within an inch of death's door, came along without complaint to join them. They walked in pace next to Haru as he asked them how their day went.

A pink blur sped right past the newly appointed instructor and latched themselves onto Izuku's uninjured arm. Mina had invited herself to the meal Haru had planned and there was no complaint from him as it was a familiar face he was always happy to spend time with. Her better half was always glad to be around her and vice versa; it was Katsuki who clicked his tongue at the teenage girl and that sentiment was shot back in turn. Haru got them to act amicably at the very least as they left the school grounds and returned to the van parked out near the street for their dinner.

For the first time since his arrival to UA; as a teacher, he felt out of his depth. He thought that providing guidance to the newer generations of heroes was something he was going to excel at with his image and past heroism as proof to his abilities as an outstanding example to his students. Watching somebody actually guide children and making them understand what it was he was trying to teach them was something to behold. There was little to no patience when it came to other matters, but Haru never compromised when it came to the children he charged himself with watching over. He waited when he needed to, spoke when it was necessary, listened with intention, and other such things that All Might failed to remember at times.

The two teenagers who were about to kill each other just a few hours ago were now about to eat dinner together; all because their mentor asked nicely. Perhaps Recovery Girl did have a point in recognizing that Izuku perhaps didn't have as great of a teacher in All Might as was first thought. One thing that All Might hadn't considered was that these sorts of things that Haru seemed so proficient in were things he had experience in already. Although not quite as similar; there was an incident in the past where he had to make them act amicably with one another after things escalated. In fact, almost all of the people involved were walking with him right then towards the same food truck that fed them back then.

Two Years Ago

At a park between both Izuku's and Mina's schools; the two were simply hanging out and just talking about what they wanted to as school got out just a little while ago. They were just about to reach their one year anniversary since they agreed to be together and even now it felt like they've been like this from even before then.

"So what did you say then?"

"Agh, I dunno. It's just been harder and harder to get a word in edgewise and it's been driving me insane! Like, do you understand what I mean?"

Izuku just nodded in response as he did have some bearing in what it felt like when a parent was starting to become overbearing. His mom was mostly single and she's been the only face he's seen between her and his biological father. That man was a stranger in his life and at this point he felt like that role was already filled by somebody else he knew. He understood why his mom could be a bit invasive, but there was always an understanding between them to help them get back to understanding their boundaries. Mina was now facing something similar with her own mother and Izuku was more than happy to lend an open ear as he usually did.

"Yeah, that sucks. Have you told her, yet?"

"... No. But still! She's been on my case nonstop and it's so annoying… I dunno, Ikki. I want to, but…"

He reached for Mina's hand and wrapped her smaller digits in his larger ones. They were on the swings just chatting and keeping each other company until they felt it right for them to go home. She returned his affectionate squeeze and knew that this was something that she would never take for granted. Nothing has been more helpful to her than having Izuku just be there and do what he thought best when they were together. What then began to sour the mood was a group of boys that Izuku seemingly recognized and waved to in the distance.

"Hey guys!"

Two of the boys stopped and turned to wave back at Midoriya for a moment with a smile on their faces. The only one to keep going was the blonde boy with the mass of spiky hair who didn't even bother looking in the direction of Izuku. Based on their physical appearance she could tell that these boys were the group of friends Izuku used to be together with from his childhood. If that was the case, then it wasn't the other two who looked to be friendly with Izuku to this date that she had a developing grudge towards. The blonde douchebag looked every bit as pompous and ignorant as she imagined him to be. All the times Izuku would talk about how incredible Katsuki was as a potential hero were overshadowed by the sad look in his eyes after he would recall a happy memory between the childhood friend. The tragic story of Bakugou's father was hard to hear and even gave something for Mina to see as human in Katsuki; but it still didn't excuse him from being so difficult towards Izuku for no apparent reason when her better half wanted nothing more than to bridge the gap between them.

Seeing the boy in person act like such a dickhead was the last straw as she couldn't let this opportunity to voice her complaints towards the estranged hothead. She got up out of her swing and marched over towards the group of passing boys. Izuku was caught a bit off guard and went after her to see what got her up in a mood just now.

"Mina? What's wrong? Mina?"

He was falling a bit behind her as she was on a collision course with Katsuki. The other two boys were noticing Mina make her approach and were aware of who she was. They had seen her from a distance and it was likely that Izuku never said hello because Bakugou was often with them when they passed by. The young Midoriya informed them that he didn't want to start anything with Katsuki as Mina also was a bit outspoken about what it was she wanted to say and do to the former blonde friend. Getting a better look at her up close only confirmed their envy of the green haired boy.

Growing into puberty made them notice the fairer sex and how attractive certain girls were in comparison to others. Mina was certainly a healthier example of the female species with curves more prominent on her than most other girls they knew back at their school. She and Izuku were very natural with their physical contact and it just served to make them curse their own lack of luck with getting a date. Going right past them and towards the exiting friend she grabbed him by the shoulder and spun him around to get him to look her in the eye.

"What the?! Who the hell are-"

"What's your problem, you stuck up brat?!"

This was not something Bakugou expected or wanted to deal with as he was about to head home for the day. Seeing this annoying broad yelling at him when he wasn't even aware of who she was just served to tick him off further than now.

"After years of ignoring him; you still can't see he's sorry for something that isn't his fault?! He doesn't even know what it was he did, you jackass!"

Looking back towards Izuku made it a bit more clear who this was yelling at him out in the open. The others in the group of friends kept ranting to him about how Izuku had found a girlfriend that was leagues above his whenever they hung out recently. There wasn't much else to go off of besides that she was pretty cute and had a figure that was to die for. What did make things obvious was their description of her being pink all over with black eyes. The horns were something they failed to notice, but it was moot point with everything else being so obvious.

"Huh? What business is it of yours who I talk to?! Why don't you go and suck face with your boy toy if you wanna waste your time!"

"What did you say, you son of a bitch?!"

That got a little too personal for Katsuki. The indirect blow to his mother got the boy to start taking his backpack off and crack his knuckles while Mina was just as unwilling to back off. She began to summon up some acid of her own in response to Bakugou's challenge of hostility. Now was when the second parties there wanted to stop things with the two boys rushing to block their leader of sorts and Izuku hugging Mina from behind and trying to drag her away from fighting Katsuki.

All of this was escalating too quickly for those who didn't want anything turning ugly. The other two boys were just trying to rationalize to Bakugou and Mina was having all sorts of apologies and sweet nothings whispered into her ear that only served to piss her off even more. A sweet partner like Izuku was being ridiculed and ignored by a spoiled child who didn't deserve such kindness from him. The two of them managed to stop themselves from blowing up on each other after their clique kept them from acting out on any immediate aggression they had at the start of this sordid affair.

Mina let Izuku drag her away by the waist and Katsuki retrieved his bag from the boy who returned it to him. The situation had seemingly been diffused and the rest of the group breathed a sigh of relief. That went out the window with the help of a massive air cannon when Bakugou threw a cheap line at Mina with Izuku as the one at the expense of the taunt.

"Now I see why a bitch like you got Izuku as her peg boy…"

In a blind fury she stormed out of Izuku's grasp and swung an open hand into Bakugou's unsuspecting face. He actually went a fair distance into the street next to him with the hard impact knocking him down to the floor completely. He propped himself up as Mina didn't finish there.

"Why don't I show you how much of a bitch I can be, asshole!"

Now things were beyond the point of no return. Getting up off the asphalt and up onto his feet, there was a spit of blood before Katsuki sprinted around and decked Mina in the face. She went flying back as Izuku had the reaction to catch her before she hit the ground. Izuku asked if she was okay when she wiped the corner of her mouth of the little drop of blood from her split lip. This was all Izuku could get out before she launched herself back up to counter the boy with a spray of acid that began to singe the blonde's school uniform slightly. She followed up with a kick to the stomach as Bakugou shielded his face from the attack. He was ready for that and caught her leg to then swing her by the leg to the ground where she went tumbling onto the hard packed dirt. They went back and forth with their physical blows and quirks doing all of the talking for a few short moments.

Near the end of this impromptu street fight the two scuffling preteens were sporting cuts, bruises, and burns of different causes on both their bodies and faces. Mina had a swollen eye and Bakugou had a cheek swelling like an orange while they were squared off with each other. Izuku was now mirroring the other boys in getting their side under control and out of the fight that was occurring out of their control. They were mostly ignored with their eyes narrowing on the opposite person with every intention of continuing their punishment on the other. It almost got too bad as they both broke free and were charging at each other once more with their quirks active and ready to inflict some serious pain.

Failing to notice the time of day, there was somebody who had set up shop a little up the ways from the fight and even became aware that there was a bit of a delay in the arrival of a few familiar faces. There was something he wanted to say to Mina and Izuku regarding their practice later that week so he was sure to make certain that they knew to come this way home after school. Just as these two were about to crack knuckles again, a sudden force swiped both Bakugou's building explosion and Mina's bubble of acid from their hands. From the scruff of their uniforms, two hands plucked both of them up and suspended them in the air where they couldn't move at all without risking their uniforms tearing wide open.

"What…"

A chill as there was a familiar voice lower than what was usually the happy and jovial tone they were used to it being.

"The hell…"

Looking to the side, they were both face to face with a glaring scowl that had a beard covering half of it's visible vestige. This didn't serve to soften the apparent anger in it's expression. If anything it just made it look scarier than what it could have been.

"Is this?"

Eight Minutes Later

"A fight?! In the middle of the street?! What on earth possessed you to go at it like street punks out for blood?!"

Both parties involved with the scuffle were kneeling on the sidewalk in a traditional position. The hard sidewalk was merciless on their aching joints, but Mina was at least given some leeway with Haru's handkerchief keeping her scraped knees from digging further into the concrete. They still were getting an earful with Haru ranting at them with his frustration being very apparent over their decision to swap hands and quirks with one another. Izuku and the other two friends were standing some distance away to give Haru some room to discipline Mina and Katsuki.

"Bakugou! You know better than to escalate things like you did! I have tolerated your other scraps over the fact that they are a result of others being stupid. I saw no way this fight couldn't have been avoided had you only taken the high road."

"But-"

"Don't talk back to me right now! You couldn't possibly have anything to say to make this better for yourself!"

Bakugou only scowled to the floor as everything he was being shot down with was something he knew. Haru's attention then swapped to the pouting Mina who was looking off to the side, much like Katsuki was doing in the opposite direction.

"And you. Starting fights out of nowhere? Your parents and I have taught you better! If you had a problem with Katsuki, you either talk to him or me or even his mother like an adult and settle things with your words before you resort to such cheap tactics!"

"Well, he-"

"No! Not this time! You're better than this; both of you. I cannot begin to express how much of a waste of time and embarrassment this whole thing was! Nothing either of you have done was the right thing to do. It was just two sides in the wrong wanting to get some instant gratification like some spoilt brats. This is just… I can't…"

Below Haru and his towering figure there were sounds of sniffling and silence from the teenagers. He knew he went too far about two minutes ago and it weighed heavily on him how much it was hurting these kids. Mina had never gotten into a fight and being yelled at after she did so for Izuku's sake made her feel guilty and awful for also dragging her partner into such a selfish altercation. Katsuki was squeezing his own tears back as he didn't feel like he deserved all of this harsh treatment. He was just minding his own business when this girl came over and butted into his personal affairs and even insulted not only him, his mom who worked to not only provide for him but tried her best to be available for him whenever she could be. He didn't ask for this and it was hurtful to have Haru see him like this.

Knowing better, Haru had to take a moment to walk away for a spell to collect himself and keep things from getting worse. Taking a few deep breaths he returned with a more stable mindset and corrected his belligerence towards these two. They acted out of care for somebody they loved and he needed to be more delicate.

"... I'm sorry. I didn't mean to yell like that… But you two know what you did wrong. I can't just let that go unpunished."

Kneeling was the best he could do to adjust his height to get these two to see that he truly didn't want to hurt them with his words. It was just an unfortunate coincidence that it was hurtful to hear such things after doing something wrong.

"Bakugou. I've told you for years that you weren't in the right to ignore Izuku like you always do. Mina could only see the worst of it and she saw you being inconsiderate when Izuku was trying this whole time to make amends for something that you have yet to have disclosed to anybody. It was unfortunate that you were poked and prodded like you were; but you're not in the right either."

It was easier to digest for Katsuki to hear what it was he was responsible for in the way Haru had just done. He knew better and that Izuku really needed an explanation for the cold shoulder; but too much was going on inside for him to make sense of everything as well. He made the choice to be silent and today he reaped what he has sown for years.

"Mina. This was something that was between Izuku and Katsuki. You should have considered whether or not Izuku wanted you to do anything or speak for him. I know you love him and that it hurt to see him so powerless against someone who seems so cold and mean; but you were rash and not only did you get yourself and Bakugou hurt, Izuku had to watch the both of you go at it and hurt one another while he was unable to do anything."

Her crying was a little stronger now as the truth came out. There was a short fuse for her to just go out and try to force Bakugou to answer for his constant silence. Watching that same heart wrenching expression mar the face that she wanted to smile and look at her with love was just too much for her to stomach. She lost her temper and now Izuku had to see her get injured for her own selfishness.

"So for now, both your parents are going to know what happened. They'll get the full context, but after that it's up to them and you to resolve things. Fair?"

A pregnant silence as the two kids were only able to sit there with their heads hanging low. Being the adult in the situation often made you not only look like the bad guy; often you just feel like the villain as well. Haru sighed and just took the two into a hug with each one on both shoulders. They let themselves shed a few tears and cried a little as he comforted the two over their building guilt.

"Oh, guys. I don't hate you two. Neither does anybody else here. I hope you can understand one day that thinking things through before you act is a necessary part of growing up. For now, let's just put it behind us and learn as we put this behind us, okay?"

Both nodded as he let them go. There was still the matter of getting them to reach an understanding with each other since Izuku was still somebody involved with both of them. He made them stand in front of each other and look at the other while delivering an apology. Bakugou was the first to go out of randomness sake.

"... I'm sorry I called you a bitch and hit you. I just got angry and didn't mean it."

"... I didn't mean to call you those nasty things. I got frustrated and Izuku was somebody I saw as somebody who was being hurt by your actions. What happens between you two is your guy's business."

Shaking hands seemed a step too far. He asked the group to stay for a moment while he got them all meals to take home for themselves. The group actually decided to stay and eat with one another on a nearby bench; although it was mostly Izuku and the other two boys sharing their stories while Mina and Katsuki were on the opposite ends staring down at their meals while munching away slowly at their doggie boxes. It was a little scuffed, but they managed to at least patch things up enough for Izuku's sake.

Present day

Looking at the trio now, Haru felt something had changed slightly as before today there was a new dynamic between Katsuki and Mina. What was cold indifference and alienation turned to a slight bickering with Izuku acting as the middle ground between them. They were all eating together and that was something that Haru counted as a victory.

A Few Days Later

A seedy bar downtown was made to look dilapidated and abandoned on the outside. Reason why was that there were certain activities and plans being made by people who wanted certain events set in place for their ideologies to be recognized. One of them had the daily fishwrap out and read off the headline for that day's issue.

"All Might discovered to be a teacher at UA. With such a thing here in our neck of the woods…"

The room was occupied by some nasty looking individuals with an aura of anarchy and discord about them. The one with the unique set of hands grasping at his arms and head was especially deep in his desire to collapse the established order.

"... What would the world think of us ending their precious All Might in such a role like this?"
