"What's that noise?"
Kirishima dropped the unconscious villain to the ground he had in his grasp along with the others that were all in a varied state of immobilizing pain or unconsciousness.
"Hell if I know."
Bakugou was done with the last two villains standing in front of him with a single swing of his fist. The reinforced metal rendered the two older opponents out cold with the swing striking both of the dazed villains across the chin. These villains were barely a challenge for the well trained Bakugou. The narrow corridors of the simulated skyscraper was another advantage on top of his skill level. Rather than using his explosions haphazardly, he resorted to melee combat and was surprised at how poorly all these villains reacted to somebody with just a few months of combat training. He wasn't even sweating all that much.
"We should head back to the group right now. Who knows what sort of danger the rest of them are in."
It made sense as a plan of action. They were just fortunate in getting opponents that had quirks that didn't counteract their own abilities. Right now they were out of their depths and it was imperative they got back to safety immediately. Katsuki had a different train of thought diverting from this idea.
"No. We need to check the other areas for more villains."
"Wait, what? Why on earth would we risk-"
"More of us are out there. A lot of them aren't like us when it comes to combat; so since we're done here, we ought to help out the others in getting them to safety."
A conclusion that was surprisingly in depth from somebody Kirishima thought was a bloodthirsty sport fighter. It wasn't really argued as they both went in search of other gatherings of heroes to help out their fellow classmates spread to the winds.

All the students were checked for possible injuries and were all cleared to be moved out of the building. They were escorted out by a security detail where three armored vehicles were parked with more officers prepping their equipment before moving in formation up the stairs. The student's were allowed to congregate outside again and the permeating question on their minds was just this; what on earth was going on back there? They knew the ESD came in with some guns and started shooting after warning the villains inside of the training arena. Every officer swapped some sort of part off their guns and fitted a different part that looked the same as the one previously equipped was the last thing they saw the ESD do before shooting down at the villains. They wanted to say something or ask what they were doing to all those villains; but there was too much hesitation between all of the classmates for any of them to actually ask properly.
Without a moment to lament how helpless they all felt; a fourth armored vehicle came to a stop in formation next to the other vehicles. The rear ramp door opened to reveal a plume of white steam pouring out from the transport. A large hand belonging to a very muscular man grasped the overhead edge as he exited the all terrain vehicle. The students could feel their spirit's rising with the arrival of their favorite teacher.

Izuku had been finding out what options he, Mineta, and Tsuyu had to escape their predicament. The plan of action he came up with would require him to break a finger since he still needed to move around after this. His body was still only able to endure a small percentage of power at the time and it wasn't enough force for him to not risk injury. He was going to cause a vacuum of space in the water for the villains to get sucked into with Mineta's sticky balls to immobilize the villains against one another. Since the splash was going to be powerful; there was a likely chance the boat was gonna be smashed to bits with how close he was going to unleash his attack. Tsuyu was the trio's way out of the chaos as she could leap and avoid the trap altogether while still being able to carry the other two boys.
"Attention intruders! Place your hands upon your heads and…"
The intercom system came alive with a deep and unfamiliar voice that began to address the villains of this raid. It was a little too far for Izuku to make out who it was that made the announcement based on visuals alone. The tone of the announcement made it clear that it was the cavalry. He could just barely make out the iconic black uniformed officers lined up at the top of the entrance stairs; their weapons drawn and defenses fortified for any possible counters the villains had in store for them. The Emergency Security Department arrived in full force and were ready to come to the class's aid.
There were streaks of white smoke that suddenly appeared from the top of the stairs down to where the villains were far below the officers. A colossal cloud of white smoke began to swallow up the ground below before the second announcement was made. Not long after that announcement came the sounds of rapid explosions and pops. It was faint, but Izuku could swear there was screaming accompanying those violent sounds. The villains in the water were growing restless and were now being put on the clock to fulfill their mission. Worrying about the quirks of a few kids when they all outnumbered the kids four to one became the motivation they needed to begin their attack on the boat. Mineta cried and glomped on Tsuyu as the group moved in fast. Their time for thinking was now over.
"All villains! Approach the shores with your hands on the back of your heads and your necks above the surface! Any deviation from these instructions will be registered as an act of aggression!"
At the waterline was a squad of well armed and geared officers aiming their weapons at the heads of the villains. It was something close to ten officers all in formation; ready to strike down the villains at the first sign of suspicious behavior. A standoff of sorts with the villains and ESD officers separated by a massive body of water. Needless to say, none of the villains wanted to go willingly. One by one the villains began to dove under the surface and swam straight for the officers to launch their own counterattack. The villains were all underwater when the squad leader spoke to his officers through the built in comms into his mask.
"Flush 'em."
The officers armed with guns let their rifles drop to their sides and hang by the strap as they each retrieved grenades of sorts. The pins were all pulled and the grenades went flying into the water all at once. A few seconds later there were about three or four columns of water that jettisoned from the surface of the practice pool. Shortly after there was an unconscious body that rose to the surface of the water; followed by another, then two, then five. All the villains swooping in for the kill were all knocked out cold and floating on the surface of the lake completely limp. Some of those unconscious bodies may not have been as unconscious as Izuku and the other two might have guessed. The most obvious sign being the blood tinting the water around the heads of some of the faced down bodies.
The villains were all neutralized with minimal losses and allowed the ESD officers to move the boat remotely to their location. A heavy weight of apprehension left Izuku as he was able to escape without having to imploding a finger. While the trio here was now reaching safety; there was another trio in imminent danger about to receive their own form of help from the ESD.
UA Academy DSA Mountain Area
Momo was trapped on the top of the practice terrain in the Mountain Area. The other two students she had teleported with were Kaminari and Kyoka. All around the three students were villains trying their best to mortally wound the teenagers with weapons and quirks of all types and sizes. There was no lack of competency on Momo as she kept defending and supporting her fellow teammates with her quirk. The issue was that they all lacked experience in being outnumbered while not possessing any actual fighting experience. By herself; Momo didn't even want to think what would have happened if she had been teleported here by her lonesome.
Kyoka grasped the slightly nervous girl by the hand while standing back-to-back with the well off hero. The intermittent tremors Momo was suffering from became less extreme with her touch connecting with Momo. With a deep breath, Momo got her head back in the game as she felt what she was making with her quirk was finally done. A wide sheet of cloth spawned from her back and draped itself over the area she and Kyoka were standing in.
"What the hell is that? A shield?"
"Why would they-"
"My one hundred millimeter thick insulator sheet is more than enough right now. Kaminari?"
A cocky grin on the young blonde boy's face was enough of a tell for the villains all around that these kids still had an ace up their sleeves. This bit of deduction was a waste of information as the entire area exploded in an electrical storm that took out every single person who wasn't insulated from the attack. Almost five seconds of unadulterated active current electricity fried the majority of villains there trying to put them six feet under. The outside area was relatively silent enough for Momo to come peeking out to double check for any conscious villains.
"It looks clear. We should reconvene with the others at the-"
"Momo, your shirt!"
Two gloved palms slapped themselves around Momo's bare chest out of nowhere. The teen squeaked at the sensation of her nipples being slapped with an open palm. These hands kept her assets from being shared with the world; and they belonged to none other than Jiro Kyoka. Between these two teens; their mutual feelings were something that Haru wanted both of them to talk about. They were both scared to lose the other if they took the risk in revealing their curiosity and feelings for one another. Kyoka liked how Momo looked and how difficult it was to stop talking with her about anything and everything. Somebody as endearing and gifted as Kyoka felt a little out of her ball park since Momo considered herself a bit inept in that department of intelligence.
Kyoka realized what she had accidentally done just now and was trying to backtrack at full speed.
"O-oh, oh my god… Momo, I'm so-"
"Just… Just wait. I have to make a new shirt; so just keep your hands there for a second…"
Well, that was not the reaction Kyoka was expecting from her childhood friend after groping her tits. Even through the gloves she could feel Momo perk up against her palm as the girl created an identical copy of her hero costume top. Kyoka gave the breasts an involuntary squeeze that made Momo blush madly and cover her mouth to hide her vocal reactions.
"Uh… Ahem; T-thank you again, Kyoka…"
They were separated and blushing at each other while staring at the other person's legs. Off to the side; Kaminari was in a daze that had him babbling like a newborn idiot. These teens were so wrapped up in their own world that they failed to notice a hand protrude out from the rocky surface just behind them.
UA Academy DSA Entrance Plaza
The squad Aizawa was running with helped the other squads move into the other areas of the simulation arena. There were still a few students cornered by more villains inside the building and they were not going to hesitate in saving those students. The gas canisters cover the visibility for any remaining villains trying to intercept the ESD backup from saving the other students. Eraser Head wasn't one to favor killing his opponents and was never to type to swing for a low blow. This sentiment only worked when his students weren't at risk of losing their lives. Although not being the one to land the killing blow; he helped the officers fend off the villains while using his quirk to neutralize the villains trying to stop the rescue attempts.
It died down quite a bit as over fifty percent of the villain attacking force had finally been suppressed. There were still a few sounds and background noises, but the immediate threat was gone for the breaching squad.
"Hello!"
From out of the clouds of smoke came Shigaraki, flying right at Eraser Head with an open palm eager to latch onto the neutralizing hero. A metal shield intercepted the villain before he could make contact with Aizawa. What caused the hero to use caution was when the thick slab of alloy steel began to crumble like a sand castle under the villain's touch. The other officers didn't hesitate in helping the hero by forming up again and firing at the sudden intruder. He disappeared into the fog once more and awaited his next opportunity to strike.
Another shield was thrown down to the shieldless officer from one of the other bearers. The generous officer simply returned to the trucks to grab another shield for themselves. The threat that Aizawa was now facing was the unhinged leader of this entire raid. The gas seemingly didn't have too much of an effect on the quirk user; on top of that, he was actually using the cover of the gas to cover up his approach. Unknown to him, it was pointless to even try.
Outside of the arena were several drones scanning the interior of the building for everything from simple heat signatures to biometrics. This information was then siphoned into a program that gave a live feed of the space in 3D as to where the possible threats were. Aizawa had access to this very feed with the mask that the ESD officer had given him. They could see Shigaraki's silhouette as a lit up avatar with little difficulty. They were able to counter the crazed young adult easily enough while working together. It was when the silhouette of Shigaraki began to back up a bit with another new silhouette the size of a gorilla began to approach the squad that caused everyone to prepare for the worst.
A charging figure had it's fist up and was eager to destroy something with it's bare knuckles. A grotesque creature of violence and uncontrollable instinct popped out of the fog and narrowed it's focus on Aizawa. The officers with their shields didn't hesitate to throw themselves into harm's way to protect the hero. Two of the four defenders slammed their shields into the ground and launched spikes into the ground to assist their efforts to brace for the impact. The rest of the officers moved while dragging Eraser Head with them to a safer distance. Some could see this as an act of cowardice for this squad to heartlessly abandon one of their own. These officers had one job and they were unmatched in achieving this very goal; ideals remain as such until somebody pays the cost to make it a reality. To protect the public and society, they must be willing to lay down their lives to help heroes remain as symbols for people to look up to.
With one swing of it's fist; the creature blew both shield bearers far enough back to carve a three meter long set of lines in the ground with the bracing spikes in the shields cutting into the ground. Both the defending ESD officers were bleeding internally with the force they took. They both spat and vomited blood while remaining stalwart in defending the lone hero. Aizawa wanted to help the two men giving their lives to protect him; it was just then an officer armed with a gun pulled the hero back into reality and spoke frankly with him.
"Sir, we have to go. While they buy time, we can get you to safety."
Deranged and mad were the least intensive terms to describe this creature's power and battle prowess. The injured officers fending off the creature directly used their shields while the group of remaining officers were keeping up a defensive formation to protect Aizawa. They managed to pin the massive beast under their shields and stab it with their bracing spikes; it was all in vain as the two officers were both struck so hard they went flying into the ceiling of the dome. The half-lizard monster got back up and yanked the two shields impaled into it's torso. The holes left behind by the spikes were already stitching themselves shut and were all healed in a matter of seconds.
Regeneration from fatal wounds was a hard thing to combat; but the strength that this thing demonstrated was beyond inhuman. The ESD riot shield wielders were seen as worthy combatants whenever they were called upon. This thing took out two of them in one single swipe. The formation was slightly compromised and the officers focused on keeping themselves between Eraser Head and this hulking creature.
"They have no hope against the Nomu. Even the ESD is trembling at its power."
The shadowy teleporter spoke to Shigaraki and shared his sentiments on how successful their new weapon was. Shigaraki was standing back from the fight and allowed the Nomu to do what it did best; kill and break.
"We'll see here and now… We shall see…"
The man went back to scratching the abused skin just under his right jaw. The scratch that never could be reached.
Aizawa activated his quirk when the creature closed the distance once more in a flash of speed. Another officer who was wielding a weapon was sent flying to god knows where with a single backhand. The other officers began to fire into the creature while backpedaling to keep their space. The pellets rolled off the skin of the beast after the skin mended itself after a few seconds from the pressure behind the shot. This revelation was not lost on the officers as the Nomu tried to attack again with one of the shield bearers blocking the attack and being almost decommissioned right then and there. No matter what the officers threw at the creature, there seemed to be no end to this torment in sight.
"Swap to flechette!"
One of the officers called for a change in ammo types that was done in less than a second for all the officers defending Aizawa. The second that they were all ready to use the new ammo they fired into the beast's less critical points. Rather than aiming for the torso or head; they aimed for it's arms and legs, near and around the joints. A noticeably different reaction as the officers unloaded several shells into the slowly advancing monster.
An oversimplified explanation to the flechette round would describe the ammunition type as a grouping of needle like projectiles fired from a single shot. The assessment of their buckshot being repealed by the new enemy made it obvious another similar approach wouldn't work. The monster began to look down at its arms and body as it suddenly felt immense pain with every little motion it made. The pain was almost debilitating as the officers began to continue backing up and protecting Eraser Head. So it was true that the mutant's defenses came from its ability to repel blunt force trauma. Small pellets were still too large to pierce the skin of this monster; so with a quick experiment of firing literal needles the ESD officers finally found their way into repelling the threat.
There was no time to celebrate their victory as the Nomu screamed out of frustration and pain. It snatched up another officer and lifted him above its head and began to tear him apart right over its head. The only hero there could only watch in horror as the ESD officer was about to be ripped in half. It didn't stop there. With the officer's last bit of strength; he let the gun in his right hand drop down to the Nomu's head and fired off the rest of his ammo into the creature's face. A painful screech with its fingers clutching it's head. The drop was enough to finish off the mortally wounded officer.
Aizawa did his best to neutralize this creature with his own quirk whenever he could. It made no difference as he saw several ESD officers die right in front of him. This creature was strong to begin with. Eraser Head was only able to neutralize quirks that required a trigger of sorts. A quirk that passively gave immense strength or some sort of special mutation was not possible for him to neutralize.
The entrance echoed with a declaration of bravery and power from the very symbol of peace himself. Every face that heard the explosive entrance turned to see the symbol of peace stand stoically at the top of those stairs.
"Do not worry!"
There was no more need for more people to die for Aizawa's sake anymore. He was one of the few people who was aware that their rescue was costing the lives of other people.
"For I am here!"
