How did things come to this? Everybody thought that All for One was the one that was responsible for all that was happening. That he was the one to stop and prevent from tasking the world over as his own. If this thing wins out and murders All for One, what then. Bloodsoaked had wiped out so much of the criminal underworld on his own for some nefarious reason and had never been caught. For the heroes, this was not only going to be unfinished business; this was the right thing to do as heroes.
Bloodsoaked had enough of the villain's ramblings. The bodies of all the villains were placed onto the ground and left there as he continued his approach. Now it was All Might's turn to raise his right hand and spoke up against the masked murderer.
"Stop right there. What this is here is the business of heroes. You will answer for your crimes, but for now you are to remain back until we can place you in the custody of the ESD. If you move, we will respond."
While this was the usual way that All Might spoke to newer villains or misdemeanors. Being cautious was mostly out of respect for Bloodsoaked's power and skill. Though, if push comes to shove, he will do what he needs to do. It seemed that Bloodsoaked had different ideas as to what state of custody he was to be after the fight. In fact, he had different ideas as to what he'll do during the fight as well.
That damned feeling of cloying bloodlust was aimed at the heroes and All for One was making it harder to breathe. It was unlike his intentions from earlier, it was like he was just tossing them the challenge to do so if they believed they could deliver on their promise.
This was getting nowhere for All for One. Katsuki had slipped through his fingers and Shigaraki was unconscious along with the others in the league. He was caught in a bit of a situation and knew he needed to remove his players from the field. Whatever he needed to do needed to be done now.
As luck would have it, he could see Kurogiri start to rouse from his slumber and begin to move. If he could command Kurogiri, then this would be a cakewalk. Timing this was key, as commanding him too early would only disorient the teleporter. Too late, and he'll alert the others to his condition. Infrared detection of the body helped him time his words to the perfect moment.
"... Black Mist, portal now!"
In nothing short of a second, the loyal follower of All for One opened two portals leading to the same area and fired two bundles of tentacles to throw everybody in the league into them. All Might tried to stop the escape by leaping for the villain who was closer to him. His hand was just about to stop him when the world suddenly spun all around him and landed him on his chest. The same arm that was used to throw him was yanked backwards with a boot pressing down on the matching shoulder blade.
Gran Torino went in for the rebound and aimed right for the villain too occupied getting his followers out of the area. Even that was thwarted when he suddenly was hit with two shots on his right gauntlet and sent flying back. Catching himself in midair proved to be just as useful as those attempts were literally shot down by bloodsoaked.
His right hand had the handgun out of its holster strapped to his thigh and fired it to keep Gran Torino from stopping the escape. Neither hero knew what the hell was going on as All for one succeeded in getting his league out of the fight and to safety. This wasn't Bloodsoaked taking sides as the moment the villains all entered the portals, he whipped All for one in the head with the butt of his gun and sent him tumbling to the ground.
Passing by the crater and about to reach safety were the students with Bakugou in their possession. Watching all of this was absolute madness. Bloodsoaked had not only pinned All Might by the arm, but cut off Gran Torino's attack and even squeezed in a rather nasty blow on All for One. Was this some sort of quirk that made him faster than everybody else? He was pulled along by Momo who realized that everybody needed to keep moving.
Now that Bloodsoaked had a moment to breathe, he reloaded his pistol and placed the empty mag into the bag on his back. The handgun returned to its holster while the rifle that was hanging on his back had it's sling adjusted to return that to his hands. All for One picked himself off the ground and was just about done with the whole affair.
His right arm was brought up to the side and began to swell grotesquely. It was aimed right at the approaching Bloodlust and used to unleash a massive power wave that could destroy kilometers of city and roads. The intended target didn't dodge as he thought he would. Their hands interlocked and gave the energy nowhere to go. A tremendous amount of energy that ends up trapped in an enclosed space will try to find the path of least resistance. That direction, in this case, was the opposite of the fingers funneling all the power downwards.
One colossal explosion of earth and fire erupted as the blast had hit a gas main while burrowing a very deep hole into the middle of the city. The air pressure produced caused Gran Torino and All Might to shield their faces. Both had seen what that madman had done and were under the assumption that Bloodsoaked was dead, if not horribly maimed. To their astonishment, the murderer came jumping out of the blast while smoking like a cuban cigar.
If he was hurt, there wasn't much to go off of to see which part it was he got injured. His clothes were wholly intact with the glove that was on his right hand just being a little scuffed up. What the hell was he? That attack was capable of deleting several skyscrapers in its path, and he used his bare hand to send the blast straight down?
This served as the distraction that All for One needed as he launched more of his black tendrils at All Might and Gran Torino from the smoking crater. They were caught off guard and were violently thrown into the nearby rubble and concrete. All for one was still concealed in the smoke as he began to mouth off against All Might.
"I'm dealing with something that should have been your problem, and all you do is just stare with your slack jawed expressions?!"
None of this was supposed to happen. All for One never wanted to deal with this psychopathic sadist. He never wanted to have the torment of experiencing such a gruesome form of torture. Now these heroes were just staring on like children in front of a toy store while he dealt with a maniac that was their job to apprehend. Finally, he had enough of it all. Everybody here was going to die by his hands.

Izuku and the others were completely out of breath as they reached a safe enough area away from the battle. They all took a headcount while everybody around them was in a relatively similar state. City wide evacuation had been mandated by the police and ESD officials. The immediate area was cleared of all civilians available by officers and other emergency responders.
They all checked on one another and saw that they all were pretty much fine. There was a lot happening all at once and the civilians were all in a panic. Izuku managed to spot some helicopters above headed to the source of the destruction. On the buildings and skyscrapers, the monitors began to broadcast the current situation while informing the audience as they were flying closer to the scene of the battle.
All Midoriya could do was hope. Even that felt like a daunting task with Bloodsoaked into the mess. Why was he here? How was he connected to all this? It just loaded his head with too much.
A soft and warm hand took his clenched fist into it's gentle grasp. It was Momo who saw the stress and anxiety and wanted to comfort him in any way she could. He realized that it wasn't just him anymore. With his hand now grasping hers, they watched as the news began to broadcast the events happening at the crater.
Fighting Grounds
"Sir, we have news reporters coming in. How do you wish to proceed?"
The incoming call he received from his people alerted him of the incoming news choppers that were en route. His position wasn't one that would benefit from a live audience.
"Send them in. keep me updated."
"Sir!"
Haru was done for now. Until the apprehension of All for One was finalized, he would have to stay nearby. It wouldn't be very courteous for the owner of this city to simply allow all this rough housing without some adult supervision. Like a wisp of smoke in the wind, he was gone.
This didn't sit well with All for one, Who came through the burning pit and saw that Bloodsoaked had left without a trace. There was no way around it, he would have to deal with his assassin again at another time. His scream of anger and frustration wasn't human or off this earth. Right now, he just needed to kill something. Good thing for him, he had the perfect punching bag.
All Might was someone he hated vehemently. While he was chased out as a criminal, Toshinori was just some brat running around with power that was never his to begin with. His brother was still a pain in his ass after all these years.
The overhead news choppers finally turned the corner around the enormous column of black smoke. A live feed was finally given to the anxious public to help inform them of the current situation. Over the sounds of the chopper flying overhead, the female reporter informed her watchers that the hero All Might and a villain were both standing off from one another.

Something wasn't right with the UA students. Where was Bloodsoaked? He had been the one who did most of the damage so far and now he was suddenly absent. While other people were trying to cheer on their hero, the UA students were now wrestling with the idea that this wasn't the last they've seen of that murderer.
Fighting Grounds
When a massive crater on fire shows up in the middle of a city, things tend to be at a very high intensity from then on. All Might was just now getting sucked into the battle and yet he wasn't feeling too sure of his odds. He witnessed All for one get punched full of holes, get his throat slit, and even all of his internal organs blown to smithereens. Like nothing had happened, All for One was now screaming mad and ready for round whatever.
He racked his brain to find something he could use as a form of effective target. Would breaking his bones work? He didn't know. One thing he could recall was that he never saw Bloodsoaked go after the head. Hitting, perhaps, but he didn't aim for his head. When he had a gun available to shoot him, he hit him instead. For some reason, this man did nothing but rile up the villain and extend the fight. Was he also a target?
"You!"
All for One came hovering down with his teeth grit and mouth bleeding steadily. If he still had eyes, he would be staring daggers at the hero ready for his turn at the villain.
"You little prick! Had that bitch died before she could pass on that fucking quirk to your worthless ass, none of this would have happened!"
What All Might heard irked him quite a bit. The way he said it, it was like he honestly believes that none of this is his fault.
"My bratty little brother and that fucked up quirk of his just had to keep following me through the years! I keep having to deal with you all and that's fucking enough as it is!"
This villain was coming off as delusional, but it was a delusion born from an ego and narcissism. No matter how much time passes, the center of the universe revolves around him. Everything bad that happens is the world's fault. All Might knew of it, but to see it like this was enough to make him want to vomit out of disgust.
"All of you, nipping at the heels of my legacy! I never wanted all this destruction! Had you let me do my fucking job, we'd all be happily living in harmony!"
His hand grasped the still bleeding scar and winced at the growing pain he never could escape.
"But, no! Not only did I have to sacrifice every bit of hard work to keep you all away, this sick fuck comes along and… And… FUCK!"
He was losing coherency the longer he thought about it. All for One charged another one of his long range attacks that he saw caused the pit when he used it against Bloodsoaked. There was no time to think as All Might charged up the little power he had left to counter the power coming his direction. They met each other's power and caused a shockwave that was enough to cause the choppers to shake around involuntarily. All for One was maintaining his power just fine while All Might began to spew blood out of the corner of his mouth once again.
The damage was still relatively contained to the area that was first destroyed. It was All Might that took the worst of it with that last attack. That much power in one attack made it feel like he was digesting thumbtacks. Still, All for One found it appropriate to continue his ramblings of borderline madness.
"You think you have something to lose?! I lost EVERYTHING I worked for constantly! You know nothing of loss!"
"... No."
Finding his center again, All Might put his foot down with this twisted man. It was rather odd how childish both Shigaraki and All for One were in different ways. Shigaraki was one who was purposely kept at a specific mental state to be used as a dependent puppet. All for One was blind to the world outside of the one he imagined was his to own. So much of All for One continued to raise All Might's hatred of the villain.
"You're nothing but a spoiled child who kicks and screams when he doesn't get his way."
The pain didn't subside. Even standing was a task that required so much more effort than necessary. The world was watching him stand against evil, and he still had enough power in his body to make a stand still.
"All you've ever done was take and expect what you already had to be just that, expected."
He stood to his full height to confront the man responsible for over a century of suffering to the innocent. To confront the evil blind to its own place in the world as one that creates chaos and discord.
"The only one you think is worthy of being a human in your eyes is yourself! All others are nothing but tools for you to break and replace as you see fit!"
All Might charged in and brought both fists up to his chin. In a move uncharacteristic to All Might's usual tactic of just being a straight brawler, he was being defensive as he approached. This focus of maneuverability over momentum caught the villain off guard enough to slip to his outside on the outside of their current stance. All for one was helpless to the right straight that landed right onto the back of his head.
"The only piece of worthless garbage I see here is you!"
It wasn't ideal, but it worked. Months of eavesdropping on Nakamura subtly teaching Izuku proper fighting techniques were being applied to his current situation. How one guards against others was just out of precaution for the next lesson in how to slip past one's opponent. There were many ways to do so, though the easiest was to simply go for it if your opponent wouldn't expect it from you. The beauty of the simplicity gave All Might the courage to just go for the attack.
Finally, the way one punches. Even minor adjustments to one's technique could transform the amount of power one could get out of their strike. He pivoted off his right foot while creating torque with his chest and waist while aiming for a spot past All for One's head to be the farthest his punch could reach. A Detroit Smash in combination to the more vulnerable base of the skull sent the villain into a stupor that he wasn't prepared for.
Though it wasn't enough to knock him out cold, there was an effect on the villain to boost All Might's confidence. Gran Torino was off to the side while trying to get back up from the last attack he received; he couldn't help but feel pride from seeing his former student finally start to use actual technique in his fighting.
Next came a basic combo that Haru had taught Izuku in passing during the school year. There was a reason that people used to fight in a certain stance when quirks didn't exist. Since the human body was such a flexible engine of multiple moving parts, these components had to move in tangent with one another to get the best results. Haru was very specific as to how he adjusted the boy's way of striking and the reason why he was adjusting it.
Izuku was a smaller frame, so he was unable to produce the power to best utilize his body type. All Might also heard that larger frames benefit from carrying the weight of their blows further through their targets due to their inherent power. Footwork was in Izuku's field of specialty since he already had a background in dancing while having a lighter frame. Opposite of that was the need to plant one's body square with their target. The manner of how to strike came down to the way one uses their weight. The lighter fighter would benefit from the technique and range of the blow, while the heavier one would be able to produce power from shorter ranges.
All for One was nothing but his punching bag as he chained punch after punch while keeping no further than the extent of his reach with the villain. At the end, One final Detroit Smash into his opponent the combo. The edge of the pit caught All for One with his body crashing into the hardened industrial material and packed earth.
The hero had to double over in pain and cough violently after such a mentally intensive assault. His body was steaming and reverting from his exertion. Though his experience had allowed him to execute the technique effortlessly, the amount of power and focus needed was a different story.
With All for One, the maneuverability of the usually straightforward hero caught him off guard and was now rattling his brain like a raw egg in a pickle jar. He was able to wrench himself free from the hole he was buried in with some difficulty doing so. It would seem that the secret of his regenerating power was discovered by the hero rather quickly. The time difference of the wounds healing on his body now versus his time earlier were like night and day.

Everybody in the streets were too tense to say anything as the hero All Might had seemingly pulled out all stops and was now using these weird moves that lacked his usual flair while being far more effective. Only Izuku could recognize that these moves were based off of the lesson's he took from Nakamura about how one needed to throw a punch and move. He saw a conservation of energy that assisted the struggling hero to stretch his remaining power to it's limits.
People at home were turned to the news and were unable to comprehend what it was they were seeing. All Might was using these foreign techniques he never once used in the past to fight this enemy. What sort of threat would command such a shift of power versus technique?
Fighting Grounds
All for One knew that he was figured out for what his weaknesses were. What he needed was an edge in the fight. Something to crack the barrier of All Might's mental state enough for him to turn the tides. There was one thing he knew was a sore spot for the withering hero. It would be doubly effective to also bring in Bloodsoaked and create further discord for the hero.
"All Might! Don't you wonder why it is that Bloodsoaked tortured me instead of killing me so many years ago? Why it was he left me alive?"
There was some truth to what it was All for One was speaking of. The hero had his head racked with questions as to the nature of the history of the two criminals. As to what would drive one to commit such horrible atrocities against another human being; even one as foul as All for One.
"That creature you deem as scum? The monster that committed murder unlike anything in the past? What he was looking to find from me…"
One finger was aimed at the hero as All for One shared the horrible truth of Shigaraki's true identity.
"It was a murderer who was seeking out the grandchild of Shimura Nana!"
His once unbreakable spirit was crumbling in a wave of despair. His memory of his Teacher telling him of a smile's purpose replayed in his head over the memory of allowing the same boy to be heartlessly gunned down right next to him. How he did nothing.
"... No."
Why was he the last of her family? The boy was so twisted and beyond most evil he's faced in his very long career as a hero. His questions of the one he now knew as Bloodsoaked only grew to a nauseating amount and stunned the hero enough for him to slack on his use of One for All. This was exactly the window All for One was looking to open for himself. All it took was just the twist of the knife already buried deep in the hero's heart.
"Honestly, I can't even stomach you crying. Just die already."
Another attack was charged up as Toshinori could only reminisce the memories of somebody he valued as a guiding figure. Was fate so cruel to him that this was as far as he could come as a hero? He felt nothing towards the blood of his own teacher. Perhaps this was all that was left of him just letting things go. Midoriya would carry things on in his own way with One for All. Things perhaps were done for him.
"Pathetic."
A blast of unrelenting chaotic energy enveloped the figure of the world renown hero All Might. The heart of the public sank in despair for their hope.
Nearby
This didn't feel real to Midoriya. His heart couldn't bear to see the spirit of his mentor crushed just as he was about to die. Though his spirit and image would be preserved, the survival and image of All for One would become an image that would be far too powerful of an influence against the heroes. Almost every person in the crowd was flinching as the attack enveloped their champion.
They were all too late. Was their lack of a response the reason their hero fell? This thought brought a heavy depression and sorrow amongst the crowd. Izuku and his fellow classmates felt the weight of despair take over society and were almost defeated with the atmosphere feeling like lead on their chests.
The fight hadn't ended yet. There was a figure still visible in the smoke of the attack. One figure turned into two as All Might was revealed to be shielded by a stranger. What was a stranger to the public was a familiar sight to the UA students who were there from the very start of the fight. A figure who was the embodiment of everything that they fought to repel.
Fighting Grounds
Just before the attack, there was somebody who suddenly showed up right in front of All Might. His reaction time allowed him to see who it was. Bloodsoaked had suddenly appeared in front of him and tossed a grenade right behind himself. As the destructive wave made contact with the explosive, it caused a reaction that managed to push the attack aside in favor of its own power.
Since the explosive was right behind him, his body redirected the grenade's energy away from All Might. This force combatted the attack that All for One had used against the broken hero. After finishing his attack, All for One could only stare puzzled as to why Bloodsoaked had returned.
"... Why?"
First he tries to kill him, then helps him, only to stop him again. All of his conflicting actions were driving All for One mad with confusion.
"WHAT IS WITH YOU?! CAN'T YOU JUST STOP WITH THIS INSANITY?! I'VE HAD IT WITH YOU, BLOODSOAKED!"
Nearby
Many people standing next to Izuku and his friends were all whispering and mumbling as to what All for One called that mysterious figure. His shouting was loud enough to be picked up by the camera audio. Nobody knew what was going on, including Izuku.
"... Wh… Why? Why did he save All Might?"
Modoriya posed the biggest question amongst the mystified teenagers. He was fighting back everybody last time they checked. Why did he shield the emaciated hero? Was this his way to kill the withered hero in front of the nation?
Izuku's eyes widened in shock as he just realized that his teacher was now in his normal skinny form. People couldn't make headways of why All Might was suddenly a weak looking and sickly man. His heart plummeted as the true identity of the world's symbol of hope was shown for what it really was. An abused and used up man who dragged himself through the dirt until he became what they all saw on screen.
Fighting Grounds
Now the ruthless killer had returned and stood in front of All Might in his worst state yet. His powers were almost gone, he failed to save the last of his teacher's family, and now the world knew who their symbol of hope truly was. Perhaps his failures were just him not doing enough. Maybe it was putting his effort into the wrong thing. The Mighty All Might couldn't even mentor a child properly without having to be mentored at the same time. All Might closed his eyes and just let the mystery take over. Even this mass murderer called him pathetic.
"... This isn't it."
That modulated voice had the bare minimum of his attention. Couldn't he just leave him alone to die as he damn well pleased?
"Is this what you worked for? To curl up into a ball and cry like a beaten dog?"
Toshinori was just about done with this murderer. He didn't have a chance to talk back to Bloodsoaked as he was grabbed by the front of his costume and yanked harshly up to the face mask.
"This is pathetic! What is the hero that the world saw as their champion doing?! Do you think they just gave you the name because you can punch hard or fly?! Wake up!"
This isn't what Toshinori expected to come out of the masked man. The lecture he was receiving was starting to reach deep into him. To the part that had been almost snuffed out like his powers.
"You rose up against evil and returned a victor! Your name was something that would make the darkness itself run in fear with the mere mention of it! You were the light that guided the lost and hopeless, and here you are failing the fundamental task that made you who you were!"
The masked man's left hand let go of the loose costume and pointed a finger towards something behind Toshinori.
"Is she not asking for help?!"
What All Might heard behind him got Toshinori to turn slowly and see who it was behind him.
"... Please… Please. Help me."
It was a woman trapped under an arch of rubble. She couldn't get her legs free and he almost let her die, had it not been for Bloodsoaked's efforts to shield both him and her. There was little time to think things over as he was yanked back to face the masked man.
"What is the name you possess?! Why do you call yourself a hero?! How can you shield and protect the innocent from things like me if you're just wallowing in your own self pity?!"
There was a moment where Bloodsoaked stopped yelling at the hero to press something in the side of his mask. This was to mute the audio feed he requested be broadcast on the live feeds. What he said next shook All Might to his core.
"... I lost the child. I swore to protect him… And I failed… Now he's trapped in his pain and misery… Because of me."
All Might thought he had been the one to fail the deceased Nana, but this man had been tortured by his failure for years. The pain in his voice through the bass of his mic was clear as day. His fists clenched the fabric of his costume hard enough to make it creak out loud.
"I had no reason to give up. I searched for years. I got angry and I allowed that to motivate me… You can call me whatever you want, but I did anything and everything I could to save that boy. I killed as I did. I tortured as I wanted. None of it was for the boy's sake. I still fought after years of failing to find him! I still intend on saving him now and until I finally succeed!"
Bloodsoaked clicked the feed on once again and spoke through the audio feed once again.
"What excuse do you have to kneel before the evil that once hid from YOU?! It wasn't the power you possessed that gave you your title! It wasn't the people who chose the name you created for yourself! That name is yours alone! So stop fucking around and get back up!"
Steam was beginning to rise off of his skin and increase in volume as the sleeping giant was reawakened.
"Be what you have created for yourself!"
Back in the day, his mentor told him something similar to what was being yelled at him. She told him that it wasn't because he was lucky that One for All found its way into his possession. His unbreakable will and efforts made him the only candidate she saw as worthy to be her successor.
All the steam that was being produced suddenly became a large and thick cloud out of nowhere as Bloodsoaked called out to the hero.
"RISE, ALL MIGHT!"
The powerful and brave figure of All Might rose out of the steam and smiled as he did. His powers were pushed to their limits and his body was protesting against it with every bit of pain it drowned his nerves into. That was barely a challenge in comparison to the strength in his heart and spirit. It took some time, but All Might had returned for his grand finale.
"I AM HERE!"
Nearby
Everybody was cheering in celebration of seeing their hero return once again to face All for One. Izuku could only see the amount of pain and stress his mentor must be going through to pull off that form he was currently using. There was no way that All Might wasn't struggling to even stand right now. How was he going to face off against All for One if he was at the cusp of falling over?
Fighting Grounds
All Might had coughed a little and struggled to fight the urge to vomit. This was it. Everything he had left was being used up in a final blaze of glory to end this fight as a hero.
"Ha! You can barely stand! All this fanfare, and you're just shielding the little fire you have left against me! I could blow you out without even trying!"
There was some validity in All for One's taunt. All Might was indeed going to be fully offensive in his final battle. Taking damage would cut down the effectiveness of the power he would be unloading. His conundrum of being so vulnerable came in the form of the man who shouted some sense into All Might.
Bloodsoaked pulled out his handgun and swapped to a full mag. The rifle from earlier was gone and instead was replaced with the handgun in the right with his left held in the left. With a unique design of being held Icepick style and a curve bent forward while having a ring over the index finger, All Might felt a faint sensation of deja vu for such a design.
"Don't worry about defending yourself. I'll drag that stupid fuck over here for you. Just hit him as hard as you can."
He turned his head slightly to speak to All Might for the last time.
"I'll be the lantern for your flame. Don't do anything but focus on burning as brightly as you can."
A perfect analogy for how All Might felt right then and there.
"Burn bright, All Might."
On the other side of things, All for One recognized the situation from the last time he suffered at the hands of Bloodsoaked. The crazed murderer was even walking towards him in the same way.
"S-s-stay away, you freak!"
All for one began to charge another city destroying blast of power. His arm was aimed dead center of Bloodsoaked's approaching figure. Right before unleashing his attack was when his aim was thrown towards the sky. Nakamura was able to close the gap and use his shoulder to push All for One's arm in an upward angle. A deafening burst went overhead the city and harmlessly disappeared.
This opening allowed Haru to push the gun into the villain's stomach and punch a hole through the organ from the side. The bullet traveled out the other side of All for One's torso. There wasn't any time for him to scream in pain. If he didn't retaliate right now, he would have to relive his torment with a regenerating body.
His right hand began to load itself with quirks to help boost his speed and power to catch Bloodsoaked. Haru was faster. He trapped the left arm and buried the blade in his left to slide the knife all the way up to All for one's collarbone. Cutting the bones was really more of precisely cracking them as he kept pushing past them. The chain of snapping was like listening to a wooden rattle being shaken violently.
Blood sprayed all over Nakamura like a horror movie. The deep and large wound was already starting to heal anlong with the bullet wound through the torso. All for One didn't waver. He was certain that his left lung was caught in that attack and was choking a bit with blood leaking into the organ. Right arm at the ready, he used a combination of powers that sacrificed some power for speed. Point blank with an opening from the last attack from Bloodsoaked was all he would need to land a direct blow. Though he survived taking damage from his other attacks. All for one was certain that this punch was at least slightly more powerful while being compressed for speed.
Now his arm was a bit of a cronenberg visually with it sprouting metal and twisted flesh. His fist went right for Bloodsoaked's stomach. He hit nothing but air as Nakamura had seen it coming from a mile away with All for One having to physically alter his arm. A little step to the left gave him the space to just let the blow strike at nothing.
It still had an enormous amount of energy that was just converted to a melee attack. Buildings in the distance had their windows cracked and shook like trees in a storm. Thankfully they weren't destroyed in the shockwave. Nakamura was now right in an open window that mimicked the one All for One had on him. Now the tables have turned.
With one wind up, his arm cocked back and buried the tip of his handgun right into the teeth of All for One. He followed through to the ground as All for One was thrown hard enough into the ground to produce an earthquake for a moment. The gun might have come out the back of his head, had he not been equipped with passive quirks to mitigate the damage. Bloodsoaked pulled the trigger and unloaded all of his bullets into All for One's mouth. When he hit the villain with the gun, the angle was a bit off from the center and caused the bullets to blow out a hole off center to the right.
Once the gun was emptied, All for One shot more of his black tentacles from each hand and forced Bloodsoaked to take a few steps back. There was a hole that went straight through the head large enough to look through. It only took a few moments for the wound to go away completely. All for One stumbled a little to get back onto his feet, but managed to find his center to face his opponent once more.
After getting his bearings, All for One realized he was facing a different direction as he faced Bloodsoaked. Behind him was All Might charging his right arm with all the remaining power he had. Even the power that caused his transformation was in there. His arm was completely disproportionate to his skinny frame with a mass that a bodybuilder could only dream of.
All for One figured out their plans. All Might was rendered immobile while only focusing on power in his last attack against All for One. The one who was smacking him around simply needed to get behind the villain to push him in the right direction. Bloodsoaked took a few more steps and made All for One try whatever and whichever quirk he had to defend himself.
All of the villain's effort to repel the assault was returned with cuts and holes being carved into his body.

Nobody knew who this was or why they were helping All Might, all the while being more supportive of his effort to close the gap separating the hero and the villain. The audience hadn't bothered with the name he had and just elected to call him guy or man. There was finally a true turning point in the fight that would lead to the good guys winning.
Midoriya was baffled by the display of speed and power that was rivaling All for One's effortlessly. He wasn't able to keep the ground he had against Bloodsoaked as he was forced to inch backwards more and more into the barrel of the cannon. A few attempts to stop the hero from building up power were thwarted by Nakamura yanking him back and spilling more of his blood onto the dirt.
None of the camera's could see everything the combatting criminals were doing. They were moving at speeds that would come out more as a blur than any sort of identifiable object. Meanwhile, the ground around them was sprayed in the blood of All for One. So much of the blood landed on Haru and soaked him from head to toe.
Everybody watching got a good look at the man in his infamous state of blood coverage when he sent All for One to the ground with severed joints. What they saw left everybody speechless. This guy was dripping wet with All for One's blood creating pools of the liquid all around his boots. All of them realized that it looked more like All for one was the victim and Bloodsoaked was the villain here. So many of them felt scared of him after cheering for the man not a few seconds ago.
So this was the infamous Bloodsoaked. The tales told to him by his mentor truly did the man no justice in delivering how overwhelming his presence was. It was now easier to believe that he killed thousands of people all by himself. Nothing would stop him if he wished for your death.
And yet, why did this man save Katsuki? Even stranger, why did he tell them to not be afraid? They only started feeling better when he arrived on the scene. Also, the constant shifting of opponents from earlier just made it more confusing. Nothing about this guy made any sense.
These questions kept adding onto one another without resolution. Whoever he was, he was still dangerous. Something still felt as though that there was too much that Izuku still couldn't see about the man.
Fighting Grounds
All for one hit the ground again while healing from his most recent wounds. Bloodsoaked reloaded and cocked it to load a round. This was all just like before. Only now there weren't questions being asked of him and a lethal attack getting closer and closer behind him. Over on the sidelines were the reinforcements that had been following Gran Torino from the hideout raid. Endeavor didn't expect such a brutal display of butchery being committed against the major player of the league. What bothered him more was seeing his greatest rival look like a cancer patient too far gone. It made the pit of his stomach feel like a bottomless hole.
For years his ambition to surpass All Might was everything. It made him sacrifice the wellbeing of everybody around him as well as years of his life. This was not All Might in his eyes. If it was, then all of what he did for the past few years was equivalent to just running in circles.
His bruised ego finally collapsed under its own weight. He demanded that All Might answer for why his form was so meager and frail. To All Might, he could tell that this struck a nerve with the hero. There was no time to think about such things as Bloodsoaked was still pushing All for One towards All Might.
The other heroes worked to help the injured off the field with the help of police and ESD officers. Jeanest, Mountain Lady, and Tiger were immediately brought to ESD medical and stabilized for any serious injuries. They all were safe and in good hands. There was still the issue of the villain that needed to be addressed.
All for One was utilizing all he could to fend off Bloodsoaked. Sharp pieces of metal adorned the now lumpy and warped body of the villain, while Haru just kept lopping away at the villain and keeping him under control. No matter how much power and speed All for One tried to produce, he couldn't get a single solid hit. Not only that, his attempts to launch an attack to All Might were just as easily stopped.
One ranged attack caused the knife wielding murderer to just slice down the length of All for One's arm and blew it wide open. The stored energy was like a ton of TNT had gone off and funneled in a single direction. Bones mended as quickly as they were snapped. Bruises healed repeatedly in the same areas over and over again. Wounds that punctured and dissected him patched up the damaged or flat out missing flesh while producing the lost blood ad nauseum.
Nakamura caught All for One by the throat and raised him off the ground. If he was to go down, he would be sure to take something from this man as a souvenir. The wrist was grabbed and All for One began his process to steal Haru's quirk. Something was clearly wrong with All for One. He just kept trying to grab for something and was beginning to realize something.
Everything that made Bloodsoaked so dangerous and powerful was something that wasn't human. Strength of his caliber was unheard of as a quirk by itself. With that sort of power in All for One's grasp, nothing could ever touch him ever again. But no matter how far he reached into this person, the more obvious it was that he was wasting his time. He only had one thing left he could do.
"... H-how?! How can… Some… Something like you… Exist?!"
His throat was squeezed like a tube of toothpaste in Bloodsoaked's grasp. When All for One reaches into somebody, he can feel the presence and type of somebody's quirk by doing so. He couldn't feel anything inside of him to steal. It felt exactly like how somebody felt after he stole their quirk and left them empty. It wasn't that his quirk was difficult to steal. He had no power to speak of. The one chance he had to steal Bloodsoaked's quirk, and it turns out that he's bone dry.
"Y-you're just a… A human!... Fuck that! How?!"
Haru tightened his grasp and kept the villain silent. Peeking over at All Might, the man was ready for the finale. All Might could feel the intent of Nakamura and knew that he was to send the villain flying now. All for One was made level with Haru's eyeline and punched hard enough to be sent flying into All Might. This was it. After years of pain and suffering. Mourning his teacher and carrying the aftermath of his battle against her murderer. The flame of One for All that remained in his body grew to an inferno while he was allowed to fan the flames and release it all in one final punch.
The villain was midair and timed to All Might's punch. All the remaining power grew to be blindingly bright within the protection of Bloodsoaked's guard. A supernova that only All Might could provide was the farewell that best suited his grand journey through his life as a hero. His final goodbye to the power that allowed him the opportunity to become the greatest hero in the world.
"UNITED STATES OF SMAAASH!"
It was like a sun had been shot out of a railgun right into his face. All for One felt the heat and energy eviscerate everything in the path of his punch. This power could have rivaled the power that almost killed him five years ago, even with less power available for him to use. He must have put all of his quirk into that one punch without any restraint. If he can outheal the power, then maybe he could just manage to escape.
That hope was dashed as somebody else picked up on the villain's intent and forced their way through the destructive force of All Might's attack to land their own blow on the opposite side. All for One's head was being crushed between two fists that were focusing all the power directly into his skull. The center of the attack exploded to prodigious proportions.
Several dozen more skyscrapers fell all around the area of the fight and even caused a heavy gale of wind to sweep through the closest crowds of evacuated citizens. All the surrounding officers and heroes had to take shelter behind the massive armored ESD vehicles that pinned themselves to the ground with built in floor spikes for cases like these. Just enough of the force swept upwards and took the other unsecured objects with it.
When it was all over, the ESD did a headcount and saw that everybody was still accounted for. There still was smoke and dust covering the entire flattened area and blocked visual confirmation as to who was still standing. ESD were just about to move in when they all got a call on their personal comms to stand down for now. They all stood by until the all clear was given.
Standing in the clearing smoke was the still emaciated All Might. On the floor were the ragged remains of All for One slowly regenerating the burnt off pieces of the head. It was just the brain that managed to scrape by enough to allow the healing to do what it was meant for. A slow fist in the air and the return of his mightier form gave confirmation that All for One has been vanquished.
Almost everybody in the city rejoiced for the victory that their hero had secured for their safety. Tears of joy ran down the faces of millions to see their champion stand with his declaration of victory. All saw this as a moment to rejoice and celebrate the results of the hard fought battle. Those who were more well informed knew better. Gran Torino was attended to by the ESD medical staff and was carried away by a curious looking stretcher he had never seen before.
That wasn't All Might raising his fist out of pride and glory. His right arm was the same sickly purple as Izuku's when the quirk destroyed his limbs. There was no way that the hero was standing up willingly. Everything must have felt like pure hell inside of his body. All Might stood for the people. In reality, All Might was fighting with the last of his willpower to remain standing.

Everybody all around Izuku were crying and yelling in joy for the victory. The reporters managed to get down to the ground to get more information as to the recent events. The ESD were working their chops as they were clearing rubble and retrieving victims of the first explosion that flattened the area in which the epic battle took place. While the rescues were going on, ESD claimed custody of All for One and took precautions in sealing him in their proprietary containment unit. The body was placed in the initial space and then was sealed with about four more layers of doors and locks. This thing was capable of containing a nuclear bomb if necessary.
While All Might and Endeavor were overlooking the arrest, the reporters were kept at a distance that was acceptable by the laser tape and several officers. A few ESD medics were attending to the most serious of his physical discomfort with anesthesia to take the edge off while still giving him coherency. He asked that he remain standing and had the medics do their procedures as he requested.
The ragtag group of friends saw that things were going to be okay for now. They were sneaking through the dense crowds to return Izuku and Momo to the hospital and get the rest of them home asap. As they all tried to remain stealthy, the reporters saw All Might raise the arm not being attended to and point at the camera. Everyone heard the message, but he was speaking with more purpose that they could possibly imagine.
"You're next."
Another round of cheers for what they thought was the hero calling out those remaining in the shadows to beware. Izuku knew that it was him the exhausted hero was speaking to. It was his way of telling Midoriya that he was finished. His time as the great All Might was now officially over.
The torch was now his to carry.
Momo saw Izuku begin to cry and hugged him while whispering comforting things to him. As he embraced the sweet girl, Katsuki was seeing something else. His curiosity was now even greater as to the nature of the hero's relationship with Midoriya.
Elsewhere
Inside of a drugstore a few kilometers away, a man dressed in black clothes purchased a pack of cigarettes from the ecstatic clerk and lit up his first smoke as he exited. The first drag was savored before a large amount of smoke was exhaled. Haru's clothes were looking a little rough and smelled like burning charcoal. Since he was in just black shoes, pants, and shirt; nobody bothered to question it since it didn't draw their visual attention.
He kept walking through the streets ambiguously as he pulled out his phone and dialed a number. He was immediately connected and it was a single order he addressed to the operator on the other line.
"Call a meeting. I want badges and officers there by the time I arrive."
The call ended and left Haru to take the train back to his food truck. He truly just wanted to take a shower after such a shitshow. Now that the symbol of peace was now seen as retired, it was now going to be on him to pick up the slack. He was at least hoping that the work would require less running around and phone calls in comparison to the past. He got sick of dealing with that workload about twenty five years ago.
