Izuku and the rest of the crew managed to get through a maintenance hatch that Mineta had opened for them by climbing the exterior of the tower. His intentions were less than noble, but he eventually settled with a thank you from Melissa Shields herself. They were back to making progress while Bakugou and Shoto were stuck with having to deal with the villains looking to stop their progress.

Katsuki was stuck with the musclebound human wrecking ball while Todoroki was having to engage with the quirk user that was able to suck away whatever was in the path of his air waves. Both teenagers were not only just stuck on their own fights as they were also looking to exploit openings in their friend's opponents as well.

One attack was coming in hot for Shoto, but he knew better than to just use his regular ice. A new form of offensive power he wished to use from observing how Nakamura made ice shavings gave him inspiration for this new form of ice. It wasn't up until a couple of weeks ago that he managed a somewhat complete form of his newest technique, so the practical applications of this were still a bit shaky.

By combining his heat and ice, he needed to strike a balance by freezing the ice while adding the right amount of exterior heat to keep it from getting brittle. The size of the ice was lacking and needed more accuracy to hit his target, but that moment of contact would be all he would need.

"Ha, looks like you're hittin your wall!"

There was a lack of ice from his last frost waves and it also seemed that the ice was even partially thawing on the outside. With a backhand blow to the approaching icewave, it was an opening that he decided to end the fight with. Bakugou wanted to help, but his approach was cut off by the projectile vacuum of the other criminal. It then startled the boy and the other robber that the purple golem of a man was yelling and grabbing his fractured hand.

Inside of the ice and being encased by the same wet looking ice was the purple ogre. When his fist collided with the hardened mass of frozen water, he underestimated the strength of the tempered ice and struck the frozen barrier with the back of his fist. This put an immense amount of pressure on the bone center of his hand and cracked the bone. Since it caught him off guard, he was stunned long enough for the rest of the ice to encase him.

"What?! How did he-"

Bakugou didn't wait to take advantage of his distracted opponent. His unique development of his quirk was in the shape of the type of explosion that Haru wanted Katsuki to produce. Days of constantly blowing up that piece of white rock over and over felt like he was pissing in the wind. It was only his stubbornness that gave him the motivation to keep at it until he finally managed to create less and less fire and smoke with his explosions. At last, just two days ago, he finally succeeded in managing to crack the stone in half. The victory would have felt more satisfying if he wasn't then told by Nakamura to take each half of the rock and use both hands to repeat the process in each hand individually.

Now, he was going to use the new and improved attack that he just recently created. Only problem was that it wasn't a consistent result to achieve a smokeless explosion. That was not something Katsuki would allow to stop him as he came in hot with his blast primed while a stream of last minute pressurized air was just about to collide with him midair. It was now or never.

"Wave Charge!"

From his clawed palm, a blast that lacked the fire that his usual attacks created a pressurized wave that actually sent even Bakugou flying backwards. The robber's pressurized wave of air actually shriveled under the concussive blast and failed to absorb any of the destructive force that actually hit the criminal. A wave of pressure hit the skinny man like a truck head on and disoriented him. Massive amounts of pain and nausea made him keel over and vomit before falling unconscious into his own stomach contents while bleeding from the nose.

Kirishima managed to free himself in time to run in and catch the disoriented Katsuki soaring through the air. They went skidding across the floor and finally came to a stop when Bakugou lost his momentum. Both boys got up and shook the dizziness from their heads before checking up on each other.

"You all alright?"

"Yeah. Damn, Bakugou! I felt that all the way back there. You alright?"

Though it was more taxing on his head to do that sort of attack, his hand felt significantly less fatigued than using Howitzer. This was something he definitely could see as a viable option in the future as a powerful move.

"Couldn't be better."

Shoto and Kirishima ignored the sinister look in the blonde's eyes and elected that they all headed up to rejoin the group. That idea was shot down momentarily with the sudden appearance of the security droids coming out en masse. For them, this was time that they didn't have the room to spend just disabling these droids. They were getting ready for a fight, when an explosion went off behind them from where the first busted down the door was.

Clouds of smoke skewed thief vision for a moment before something shot out from the carnage. None of them could see what it was and turning to catch a glimpse only had them watch the robots suddenly fall over. Whatever it was that decided to give the teens a bit of leeway was already gone and off to god knows where. Time was working against them, so for now they left their questions on the backburner until after they rescued the hostages.

Earlier

Almost all the blast doors had opened up to allow the UA students still on their way to the command hub access to the upper floors. Though it was suspicious, they were still in a time crunch and couldn't spare the opportunity. Up to floor one thirty was a locked room with a multitude of security drones just ambling about the enclosed space. No other options were available as they were already too far in to turn back to find another way.

Iida astutely guessed that the kidnappers were probably just looking to capture the teens rather than attempt to impede their path. Baiting all of them into a room filled with robots intent on subduing them was probably their plan when they began opening doors for the students.

Momo suggested a plan with the ever familiar insulation sheet that she, Kaminari, and Kyoka used against the villains back at the DSA invasion. Kyoka politely coughed and got Momo to blush a bit at the memory of the accidental groping that occurred when Yaoyorozu's costume disintegrated. Nevertheless, they had a plan and asked that Melissa join them under the sheet. Kyoka asked for a knife from Momo very quickly, to which she got one and proceeded to cut the dress she was wearing all the way to her upper thigh where the slit had ended on her dress.

Miles of long and sculpted legs were there for all to see, especially for Kaminari and Mineta as they looked on unabashedly at the lengthened limbs. Two hands came out of nowhere for them and clamped down on their scalps to forcefully turn their heads away from the sight.

"Eyes forward."

Midoriya was not the jealous type, but making Jiro uncomfortable when they were being underhanded with her appearance earlier didn't sit right with him. Kyoka appreciated the gesture to preserve her dignity after having to make some cosmetic changes to her dress after having difficulty moving in it for some time. The other girls really did see a lot of Haru in Izuku. He was the man who raised Izuku, so it only made sense he would adopt a few of his personality traits as well.

The door was left unlocked and allowed Iida to throw in Kaminari with a spinning whirl assisted by his quirk. Kaminari flew through the air and eventually released about one million and three hundred thousand volts of electricity to the robots. Had Melissa been more informed of the plan beforehand and possessed the reaction speed necessary, she would have warned the human battery before he then decided to commit further to the current plan.

"Not enough?! Two million volts it is!"

"Stop! Don't do it! They're-"

All the electricity eventually stopped and left a braindead Kaminari sitting helplessly on the floor in the middle of the drones. It seemed to have worked in neutralizing the robot drones, but Melissa urged somebody to go and retrieve Kaminari while they still had the chance.

"Please! These robots aren't disabled, they simply are assessing the threat before they-"

Each drone began to pop back open and recentered their optics onto the group of teens. Kaminari was immediately apprehended by the drones with black cordage from several drones neatly wrapping up the out of commission electricity user. Every drone that wasn't being used to hold Kaminari was immediately charging towards the group while balring their sirens.

Izuku and Iida had to arm up while Momo began to produce gas grenades that were filled with an aluminum alloy that can interfere with communication signals. The pins were pulled and the fine dust was released into the air to throw off the functionality of the dranes. The model of the gas grenades made it so that only two or three were needed to give the teens decent coverage. Mineta was even able to lend a helping hand by sticking the robots to the floor with his hair orbs.

While Izuku tossed his tailor made jacket to the floor, Mina then decided it best to use her new and improved offensive capabilities she had developed at the camp. An extension of sorts to her sticky slime, she released a rope of solidified acid and cracked it like a whip while standing proud with her generous chest puffed up while still somehow not being impeded by the heels she still wore. The newest edition to Mina's arsenal of tricks to use was the acid whip. A rope of slime that hse was still able to partially command to an extent to use as a ranged melee weapon that still had the capacity to cut through things with its acidic properties.

If Izuku wasn't in a dire situation while rolling up his sleeve to equip the Full Gauntlet, he would have taken Mina then and there without a care in the world. She whipped at the machines and actually managed to heavily incapacitate about five of the drones with a single sweep of her whip. Sizzling metal and electronics were melting under the power of the whip that cleaved them.

Izuku had his gauntlet equipped and was now ready to test out the capacity of its intended use. The testing range was a rough forty five percent as he used a smash move to clear the way for them to advance to the next few floors. None of the robots could stand up against the gale of force that sent them all plummeting off to the side of the walkway that the encounter was taking place upon.

It was perfect. None of the negative effects of having to use such a high percentage of power was there. His arm felt perfectly fine and it felt as though he could even use more power than just forty five percent. Iida took the opportunity to retrieve Kaminari and ask Jiro where the next possible wave was coming from.

"They're coming in from the left walkway!"

Mineta had horrible timing for everything. The way that Kyoka was kneeling on the floor lent the boy a generous sight of her backside while the dress was pulled taut against her glutes. His stares did not go unnoticed as one robot had it's top ripped off and was thrown at the boy hard enough to make him double over in pain while grabbing his head. Izuku truly did have that temperament that Nakamura would have had in such a situation.

Behind them, the door that had all the drones approaching opened up to reveal a figure that was completely covered in some sort of metallic looking alloy. The hallway that he came out of had all the robot's Jirou reported on just moment's before with every single one busted and permanently disabled. This figure then followed the same path the teenagers went without uttering a single word.

I-Island Central Tower Floor One Hundred Thirty Eight

Going past the decommissioned robots below, all the teens kept their ascent going all the way to floor one hundred and thirty eight. Here, the room was at least double the size of any large warehouse one could find and was nearly filled to capacity with network terminals being stacked up to the ceiling in rows.

Running through the frigid space eventually landed them all in front of an army of robotic drones pouring from the opposite end of the room. Everyone was ready for battle when Melissa warned them that doing any sort of excessive damage to the servers in the room would make the security system act out unexpectedly and even perhaps prevent her from shutting it down.

Just then, something leapt over the group of students and engaged the massive wave of machines with a single powerful strike from its fist. There was a column carved straight through the crowds of machines with the one that the mystery combatant punched straight through the others. None of the others could figure out what the hell just happened as a figure that looked to be made of metal began to then smash and destroy many of the machines pouring out of the open stairway.

Whoever or whatever this was, it at least bought them enough time to discuss who would stay and who would go. Midoriya had mobility and power to keep Melissa safe while Ochaco could lend them the movement necessary to get to the upper floors from outside the building. Not much else could be discussed as it seemed that the sheer volume of robots seemingly kept increasing as more were starting to pile up around the metallic humanoid warrior. Before leaving, Izuku embraced Mina and dipped her for a kiss that made her toes curl.

His timing for romantic gestures was impeccable. Kyoka went for a very deep and desperate kiss while Momo elected to have hers after everything was said and done. It was then that Mineta realized that Izuku had his own harem of women while he could only imagine such a thing. Nothing else could be said about the purple haired boy at this point.

Headed in the opposite direction were Izuku, Melissa, and Ochaco from the robot horde coming to stop their ascent. Melisa was now scarlet red in the face at the sight of such intense affection from not only Mina and Izuku, but Kyoka and Izuku. Momo was also apparently someone who was about to engage in such relations before she hesitated and whispered into Izuku's ear before pecking him on the cheek. It certainly gave the blonde beauty something to think about as she and her escorts worked their way to the closest roof access of the central tower.

Iida didn't know who this was or what it wanted from them, all he could count on was that it was here to help and provide support for the defense effort. His leg jets ignited to allow him the speed to then go in for a kick that just narrowly missed the silver humanoid's head. Finding that the gamble paid off, Iida and the mysterious figure went at it against the robots for a bit while everybody else offered their support from behind.

Since the tech that was all around them was sensitive, Momo had to produce something that wouldn't affect the servers while still giving them a defensive measure. A grenade launcher for Kyoka while producing shells was a less taxing option, though she was now reaching the end of her available stamina. MIneta did what he had done at the last encounter and was just hoping that there was an end to these machines.

Helping Iida was the mysterious figure the size of a fully grown man covered in some sort of metallic skin suit. The efforts of the figure helped to shear off a good majority of the robots while leaving the teens enough breathing room to support the fight. Whether it was some sort of secondary security robot or a man in liquid metal armor of some kind, it was helping. That's all these teenagers cared about at that moment.

I-Island Security Command Hub

Neither mercenary could believe what it was they were seeing. Some spook with a metal paint job suddenly barged into the server room and started laying waste to all the security drones they originally sent for the intruders. Who it was behind the disguise of if it even was a person was beyond the men in the command hub.

This wasn't a good look for the ones charged with the command hub. Three of those teenagers were almost to the vault area while the rest of them were being helped by some sort of weird silver alien thing in repelling the security drones sent to stop them. Even more concerning was the fact that the silver figure was starting to even work their way up to the next level where the drones were originating from.

I-Island Central Tower Exterior Wind Turbines

Melissa and her two escorts finally arrived at the exterior of the building. Ochaco had not been equipped for the weather, so Izuku draped the jacket that was returned to him by Mina and asked if she was okay. It was a tender moment that even Melissa was drawn into for a minute.

An explosion from the opposite end of the tower alerted the students that there was somebody fighting off the security drones not far from where they were. Explosions and ice being thrown around clued the teens in as to who the other combatants may have been. Sure enough, it was the power trio who volunteered to stay behind earlier and were now fighting the machines in frigid high altitude winds.

With their bases covered, Ochaco gave Izuku and Melissa antigravity and sent them floating to the scaffolding near the top of the wind turbines that would give them access into the top section of the tower. It was a mostly soundproof plan, when the reminder that winds at this height were usually unpredictable reared its ugly head. Izuku and Melissa were hit with a wind that sent them off the edge of the skyscraper they were trying to infiltrate. The teenage boys below were all alerted to the mess by Ochaco a few moments too late as the duo were almost out of range to do anything to rescue them from a high story drop.

Out of nowhere, the wind turbines began to move on their own. Not in the direction of the winds; the turbines began to suck in the floating teenagers towards the tower and out of harm's way. How this happened was well beyond their realm of understanding. Even Melissa was baffled at their unusual stroke of luck that caused the turbines to rescue them from certain death.

Finally the two teens were able to just be able to grab onto the hand railing that led to the exterior entrance of the top floors. Ochaco released her ability and let Izuku and Melissa touch the ground once again. Now it was all up to these two to find the security deck to shut down the lockdown and rescue the hostages that the kidnappers had taken for themselves.

Inside

Melissa and Izuku were now headed up the next few floors to get to the command hub when there was somebody who leapt out of the corner of their next turn with a bladed arm to decapitate his ambush target. In close combat, Izuku lacked the technique of someone who had more than their fair share of more powerful people in scraps in close quarters. The mercenary was instructed by the leader of their group to delay the advancing teens by whatever means necessary.

Izuku had enhanced strength with One for All, but it still was just barely enough to counter the maneuverability of the sword armed criminal he was up against. Melissa tried to help by pulling the villain's arm, but it barely helped to get Izuku free from the bladed weapon slowly getting closer to him. Right when the blade was too close for comfort, A silver fist collided with the face of the mercenary and sent them through the wall to the left of Izuku.

Somehow, the mysterious stranger that was clad in some sort of flexible metal armor had arrived to assist Izuku and Melissa for their ascent. At first, Midoriya kept Melissa behind him while keeping his guard up against the newest combatant. The figure raised their right arm to present their forearm to the two scared kids to show them that they meant no harm. A line of bright blue text scrolled down the arm from the wrist asking if they were okay.

It was the unusual form of communication that helped diffuse the situation. The use of emoticons and chat icons also helped to gain their trust that he really wasn't there to hurt them. Izuku was hesitant to give his trust so quickly in such a high stakes environment. Justifyingly so, since Melissa was now his sole responsibility in guaranteeing that they remained safe under his care.

Oddly, it was Melissa who offered to trust the mysterious person or whatever it was first to help Izuku realize that it was okay to take on this individual as an ally. After trying to get his bearings with the new entity, Izuku just said fuck it and decided to trust the individual for now.

As it were, it was quite the good decision as there were gunmen that the silver clad stranger easily dispatched without a scratch on themselves while Izuku and Melissa were allowed to tail behind at a safe distance. For now, it seemed that the figure was trustworthy.

I-Island Central Tower Top Floor

Izuku and Melissa were right behind the mysterious metallic stranger as he was guiding them to the next area towards the command hub. Countless identical hallways were everywhere on the floor with intersecting pathways that questioned the validity of the floor plan for the top floor. After numerous turns and empty hallways, the stranger stopped at a corner to peek around and survey the open safe that had David shields with guards around him to ensure he got his tasks done.

Melissa's initial instinct to try and save her dad was stopped by both Izuku and the metal stranger. Upon closer inspection, it was revealed that David Shields was being held at gunpoint while he was working to find the item that the robbers were after. Any attempt to go in now would risk the scientist's life.

He was typing away at a console while trying to seek out a specific item locked away inside of the vault of I-Island's Central Vault. It looked as though the rescuers arrived when David Shields had finally stumbled upon the storage unit that had the item the robbers were seeking to retrieve. He asked his assistant Samuel to retrieve the item to then give it to the robbers while backing away from the console with his hands up. All of this screamed a heist while using Melissa's father as their way into the vault.

"There! I did as you asked. All I ask is that you just take the item in question and just go. This island doesn't need to be your tool anymore."

"You see, that's where you are wrong. We aren't quite done here, professor."

A new voice entered the situation. It was the white coated villain that Izuku remembered as the leader from the party on the second floor. The distance that Izuku and the rest of the group was at cleared the hallway the villain turned out of by one hallway over. A purposeful choice to prevent them from being caught by dangerous criminals.

The situation inside of the vault was starting to devolve a bit as David Shields began to demand what it was the masked mercenary was talking about. The answer to that question unsettled only two people in that situation.

"This bit of tech is only the tip of the iceberg. My boss is interested in another bit of tech you've been working on for the past few years. He would love to pick your brain of every detail about that project in particular. So, what do you say?"

David realized that he was in a very precarious situation. That project took years while he had the blueprints for the device. Those files were immediately deleted after he was done, and this was just all sorts of unreasonable to complete from memory alone.

"I-I had funding and resources with the help of another researcher! Even then, I had two years to complete the project with schematics! To do so from memory is-"

A gunshot went off from the villain's handgun and incapacitated the assistant at the top of the stairs. Shields could only stare helplessly while Samuel dropped to the floor as the villain just took the case that he intended to deliver to his employer. Another gunshot from his handgun stopped David from going to help his assistant by cutting his path off with the spark of the bullet.

"You'll manage."

Neither Izuku nor Mellisa was the one to react to the events that just transpired. A silver streak shot down the hall and struck one of the men standing guard while snatching away the gun in the leader's grip. The limp and unconscious body of the henchman hit the containment units while the silver figure stared down the mercenary leader. A solid squeeze from the silvered man's hand crushed the gun as they continued to stare each other down.

While both were staring each other down in a tense situation, Izuku used his quirk to attack the other henchman in the room. His assault was brought to a screeching halt as the leader used their quirk to manipulate the metal in the room to pin him to the wall with tendrils of metal binding Midoriya to one of the walls. His quirk was one that could manipulate any kind of metal without concern of its property or density.

Multiple columns of metal launched themselves at the metal clad stranger and buried the individual under a good few pillars of manipulated metal. Under the circumstances, the leader of the mercenary group was forced to snatch up the primary target of his mission while just being able to retrieve a hefty payout of the device that David Shields produced that his employer wanted for themselves. As far as he was concerned, the device was his while All for One rotted in prison.

To keep the researcher from struggling, he shot the man in the hip point blank to prevent any sort of escape attempt. Melissa screamed out in horror as she tried to come to her father's aid. She was just able to reach her father when the villain had his fist winded up to deck the young teenage girl in the face. That blow never was able to follow through to its intended target as a wave of blue light rippled out from where the metallic stranger was pinned.

In that very spot where the metallic stranger was pinned, the pillars of metal that had them pinned previously shattered like brittle shale. The metal mask the leader had partially shattered as he was struck with the blow he was about to inflict upon the blonde teen. More metal columns shot up from the floor and struck the metallic stranger to then pin him to the floor with large amounts of metal just wrapping itself around their target.

He didn't know why all his metal suddenly shattered like that after being hit with that strange blue light. A repeat of that exact moment occurred as more blue light ripped across the metal encasing the stranger. All the metal touched by the light suddenly stopped moving and was out of the mercenary leader's control.

As tempting as it was to stay and figure out what was happening, he had a schedule to keep. David was thrown over one shoulder of the mercenary leader and had the hallway towards the elevator sealed behind him with metal walls covering his escape. That ring of unique blue light didn't stop echoing across the ground until it scanned Izuku's metal restraints. Before he could check to see if his restraints were now escapable, the metallic stranger smashed out of his solid spherical prison to then leap through the metal walls and demolished all obstructions in his way.

His restraints were suddenly brittle and easy to escape from as he broke free from his restraints. Whatever it was this stranger did, the odds were once agains balanced in their favor. From out in the hallway, sounds of demolition could be heard through the improvised path to the elevators. Melissa felt so powerless in the face of true danger, but seeing the effort that Izuku and a stranger put in to save her father gave the teenage girl a resolve to do what she can to help the situation.

What she could do was get to the now abandoned command hub and restore the security system to its original settings. Seeing Melissa attempt to restore the system to its original functionality had the tech savvy mercenary briefly pursue the girl before being shoulder checked into the wall to his right by Izuku before passing out from the shock of the blow.

While the mysterious figure went off in pursuit of the mercenary leader, Izuku needed to get to the rooftop asap. He wasn't out of the count just yet.

I-Island Central Tower Security Command Hub

Melissa was able to set the security status of the island to all clear and give all of the island residents a bit of breathing room to relax from the uptight curfew that was suddenly enforced out of nowhere. Now the island was able to breathe a sigh of relief as the security system was now no longer trying to kill it's residents.

While she was still in the command hub, she reopened the telecommunication link and saw someone attempt to contact the central tower. Opening it had somebody she didn't recognize at first speaking to her in a professional tone.

"H-hello?"

"This is the Japanese Emergency Security Department requesting permission to enter I-Island airspace. We received an emergency distress signal from the island and have officers on standby outside of jurisdiction territory. Is everything alright?"

Melissa was just happy that somebody was here to assist the situation. She did her best to relay information, but it was a bit of a jumble as she was rushing her words. The officer on the other end asked kindly that she just take her time and take things one step at a time. This display of patience and compassion helped steady her nerves to help the officers find somewhere to touch down and get their officers to assist in the situation.

I-Island Central Tower Helipad

Up on the rooftop was a chopper waiting for the mercenary leader and only him. The professor was in unspeakable pain while he was just asking the mercenary to just kill him. Before he could reach the heli, the elevator dinged behind him to reveal the man in the metallic full skin suit. He clicked his tongue at how persistent this guy was and wasn't thrilled with the idea of having to deal with this guy longer than was necessary.

A slow walk to the air transport while the mercenary leader was putting his payload into the copter closed the distance for the metal man. On the ground, the criminal placed his hand flat against it and summoned three metal pillars to flatten his pursuer. They did make contact with their target, but that same blue light rippled across the metal and caused the material to suddenly become weak enough to crack under its own weight.

He didn't understand why it was that he was losing control of the metal that the chromed out stranger had touched with that weird blue light. Meanwhile; as David Shields was trying to staunch the bleeding from his bullet wound, he could swear that the reaction he was seeing was something that the tech he gave to his most recent sponsor that very same afternoon would do if it had its full functionality.

What he had built was nothing short of the greatest advancement in nanite technology for the history of the human race. Nanoscopic robots built with the capacity to not only be manipulated to complete tasks on the cellular level and beyond, but with the ability to shift and manipulate atomic structures into newer elements. The tech was still in its rudimentary stages for the system and it's programming, that said nothing about how the hardware was built to its fully functional build from the get go.

That light looked just like the luminescence the nanites would release as they changed the atomic structure of whatever it was they were manipulated. What David knew that the criminal didn't was that the reason he lost control of his metal was because it was no longer metal when the nanobots were done with it.

Just when things couldn't have gotten worse for the kidnapper, Izuku appeared in the elevator to witness the mysterious stranger repel the assault of the metal manipulator. Seeing the boy got the criminal to command that his pilot take off immediately as he held off their pursuers. Izuku had no time to waste and began to sprint with all the speed he could muster. He immediately became the greater threat and caused the metal columns to start targeting him instead.

Some of them were able to get in and land a few decent blows to the teenage boy attempting the desperate rescue. When five metal pillars were coming down on Izuku, a single punch from the metallic man blasted the attack away and even caused the pillars to suddenly start disintegrating into chunks with blue energy bleeding out of the breaks in the metal. Although almost passing out, Shields recognized that all that energy had been unloaded into the metal structures and caused the molecular destabilization he saw happen.

There was no time to thank the mysterious stranger for the save. The helicopter was already starting to take off and was almost out of range if he were to hesitate now. An arch from one of the enemy's previous attacks gave Izuku enough height to clear the difference of height to just be able to latch onto one of the tires of the aircraft.

Melissa had finally finished instructing the ESD to a proper landing site at the airport and decided to see what was happening on the rooftop. Midoriya was desperately clinging onto the tire and kept trying to shift over to the doctor while clinging on for dear life himself. All of David's pleas for Izuku to forget about him were all ignored and ultimately rebuffed when the boy yelled to the begging doctor.

"Stop begging for your death! Your daughter is still waiting for you! So shut up with the shitty behavior!"

Being put in his place by a teenage boy was certainly a new experience for the researcher. One thing he couldn't help was why he felt like what Izuku said felt like deja vu to him. The kidnapper was still large and in charge while Izuku was just barely clinging on for dear life. An insult was all Izuku got for all his trouble before being kicked off the helicopter.

From below, the younger Shields screamed in horror as Izuku was not falling from an extreme height and plummeting to the hard metal rooftop. Every neuron in Midoriya's brain was racing to find a solution in his desperate situation. Even as he was plummeting, he was still trying to find a way to save the professor. Hitting the ground would only hurt as long as he had One for All active to protect his body. Now it was seemingly impossible for the boy to even reach the aircraft. All he wanted to know was what his mentor would do in this situation to save David Shields. Anything to help him save the man in need of his help.

From behind him, Izuku felt something snatch him out of the air to counteract his downwards descent. It was the metallic stranger who caught Izuku and stopped the boy from falling any further. A scroll of blue text across his face told Izuku to just jump off of him. There was no time to argue as Izuku planted his feet against the stranger's hands to use as a springboard. They both worked together in a synchronized attempt to launch Izuku towards the helicopter.

This spelled disaster for the escaping kidnapper as he couldn't manipulate the metal of the copter unless he wanted to ruin his own escape. There was only one thing he saw as a possibility at this point as he dove for the case with the amplification device he stole from David Shields. Outside of the helicopter, Izuku had an attack primed and ready to destroy the helicopter.

"Detroit Smash!"

Sixty percent power was more than enough to rip the copter in half and send its contents plummeting to the ground below. Problem was that now that the helicopter was destroyed, Izuku could only watch as the helpless David Shields was not plummeting to his death. Midoriya managed to close the distance, but now he and Shields were both dropping like stones to the ground far below the rooftop of the tower. Melissa screamed for them as Izuku closed his eyes to brace for the impact.

Both him and David were wrapped up in the arms of the metallic stranger and were brought to a gradual stop with a thin metal wire sprouting from the hip of their savior that connected to the edge of the rooftop. Eventually they were returned to solid ground where Melissa held her father for dear life while Izuku was just too tired to do anything else except just sit and catch his breath.

The mysterious metal clad stranger just stood there to make sure things were well enough before turning to leave. Only David had a clue as to who this mysterious stranger was, but kept mum as Izuku called out to the man.

"W-wait!"

He honored the boy's request to remain still for a moment. After a moment of thinking on it, Midoriya came up with a simple but direct sentiment for all his help.

"Thank y-"

Not a split second later, a giant metal tentacle shot out from where the helicopter had plummeted from the sky. It was countered with a kick from the metallic stranger that sent it up into the air before slamming back down onto the rooftop elsewhere. Things were apparently not quite done yet with the sudden reemergence of the metal manipulator thought to have plummeted to his death.

A hellish entity of destruction began to sprout from the edge of the roof with long, twisted tentacles made from the cables and piping of the building itself started to collect and bind into a gargantuan mess. Up at the top of the pile was the one responsible for the creation of such an atrocity, wearing the amplification device David originally developed for his friend All Might.

"Why don't we see if this thing is even worth all the trouble we went through. After all, I am a businessman when it comes to the goods that I acquire for my clients!"

This was starting to get dicey for the still exhausted Midoriya. He had two civilians to attend to while one of them was suffering from a debilitating gunshot wound. All he had was the support of this mysterious stranger against the man who now was tearing up the rest of the tower in a grandiose display of their newfound power.

On the back of the metallic stranger were the instructions to just go printed in bright blue glowing text. Izuku and Melissa shouldered most of the weight for David as the metal manipulator and the metallic stranger squared off. As they were moving out of immediate harm's way, several more metal pillars were launched to stop their escape.

Each metal pillar was suddenly hit with the ripples of blue light that transformed them into nothing more than brittle stone. Coming to a stop below, the metallic man picked one of the crumbling pillars to use as midair stepping stones to close the distance between him and his opponent.

His speed was rather impressive, though it wasn't a dealbreaker for the metal manipulator as something that he couldn't deal with. More metal was starting to float all around the battlefield as more metal was being launched against the agile metallic man. Metal pillars that were about to make contact with the chrome figure were partially disintegrated in an explosion of blue embers unloaded directly into the matter itself.

David's scientific mind was able to form a hypothesis as to what it was the stranger fighting against his kidnapper was doing to the metal he touched. All that energy from changing the elements themselves had to go somewhere, so it was likely that the man was storing it in the nanites fuel reserves temporarily. That very same excessive energy wasn't just being released in an uncontrollable nuclear blast, but rather was being unloaded into the molecular structures and broke the bonds between those molecules.

How it was that his sponsor was controlling such an advanced function not even originally intended for the nanites when he received the first sample just a few hours ago was beyond David's realm of understanding. Maybe he needed to reassess a few things going forward from this moment on.

While the criminal leader was busy with his current opponent, there was a sudden freezing of several metal tentacles and a sudden explosion that rattled the entire metal structure. Being sent back to the ground and barely catching themselves was Bakugou. He was a little scuffed up from all of his fighting getting to this point and was not happy about the state of his fine wear. This was the first suit he had fitted for him with Nakamura being the one who gave it to him.

Todoroki and the others had arrived just in time and were offering their support in the fight. Off to their right was Izuku and the Shields, who caught the group's attention and had Momo attend to the man's bullet wound while Mina and Kyoka embraced Izuku. Ochaco received her welcome as well, though the current situation was still a bit precarious for the worn down UA students for them to celebrate just yet.

"What the- is that what I think it is?!"

Iida asked the million dollar question as the humanoid metal figure was still engaged with the mass of twisted metal and steel. There were several metal columns aimed dead center where the metallic man was while he was midair. All of them hit their mark and it filled the rest of them with dread to see their de facto ally eat it like he did. It was a very short lived fear as a blast of energy shattered the metal pillars and gave the metallic man an opening to engage the criminal.

Metal cables attempted to stop the approach of the metallic stranger, but those restraints were easily snapped like sewing threads. Both men had a firm grasp on one another while the criminal began to glow bright neon red. He wouldn't make the mistake of underestimating his opponent again, so for now he addressed the metallic suit this guy was wearing and grabbed at a shoulder to do his work.

Izuku was panicking as he saw that the stranger was in a clinch with the metal manipulator. Now that he had his hands on the metallic stranger, he was likely to use his quirk to immobilize or just straight up kill his opponent. It was David who knew better and was calm at the sight of the kidnapper's apparent advantage.

Something didn't feel right to the criminal. The suit he was grabbing onto made it clear that this was indeed a human in a full body metal suit of some sort. His question was answered as the stranger winded up a fist and told the scarlet red man the truth.

"My suit isn't metal."

One solid strike on the criminal's stomach caused a chain reaction of energy to ripple through the entire metal structure. Some of the floating metal dropped for a moment before returning to the air as they were before. By the narrowest of margins, the quirk gave the kidnapper just enough durability to weather through that painful blow to his abdomen. His choked coughing was replaced with a deep, visceral growl before launching the man back and wasting no time to let the chrome suited individual taste the weight of several scrap metal cubes the size of small houses.

Everybody who was looking on in shock was certain that the man crushed by the giant masses of metal was certainly dead. The pipes that then pierced the center of the mass of scrap sent a chill down Izuku's spine. He didn't know why, but the impact of those metal spikes gave the teen the visceral need to help out the metallic man. There was no need to act the way he did for someone who was essentially a stranger. His instincts overrode his rational mind as he launched himself up and used his iconic move to rescue the stranger.

"Detroit Smash!"

With one solid punch, all the metal trapping the chrome fighter released the prisoner and gave him the chance to save Izuku from the impending attack. Towering clouds of upset rubble clouded the battlefield and only cleared after the winds started to kick in once again. There was a spot on a piece of still intact flooring that had the metallic stranger cradling Midoriya by the shoulders after getting the boy out of harm's way.

Both of his eyes slowly opened as he groaned while looking up at the blank and mirror-like face of the one who saved him in return for freeing him. Izuku didn't know what to say, but could read the text that asked if the boy was still able to move. Though it was a bit painful, he was able to return to his feet and stare down the current villain of the situation. This was now all on the UA students still able to move and fight to put an end to this criminal's entire operation.

"... Will you fight with me?"

Instead of verbally answering, the hands of the metallic stranger began to glow bright blue and gave off quite a bit of heat. Not only that, Full Gauntlet was grabbed by the stranger and was enveloped in the same white hot light that had coated the hands of the stranger. Izuku didn't know what that did, though he would bet a lot of money that it wouldn't be good for their opponent. They turned and made a dead sprint towards the villain with speed only possible for those with power like themselves.

"You little insects! Just give up and die like the useless bugs that you are!"

More columns and metal tentacles were thrown in combination with the massive cubes of floating scrap metal. Todoroki offered shielding and support while Bakugou offered more offensive damage with his quirk. Since most of the structure was metal, Mina utilized her acid and sprayed it in combination with the wind to weaken the metal being used by the villain. All of their efforts were paying off and gave Izuku the windows necessary to slip through the gaps.

Full gauntlet was also noticeably improved with the added bonus of blowing apart whatever he hit with the piece of tech. Further than the regular destruction, his strikes actually traveled up the length of whatever object he hit. The one helping the teen was not delivering the straightforward destruction that Izuku was dishing out, instead using their augmented hands to cut into and slicing the obstacles in front of him and Izuku. Like two shooting stars, they left behind a light trail with their immense speed.

What Melissa could see with her usual level of perception was how Midoriya was sprinting in a way that did possess her Uncle Might's former power and energy, but it somehow was clear that the way the metallic stranger helping him was sprinting in a way that looked to be the other influence of Izuku's form. A narrow and tight form that focused on speed more than momentum and power.

Far above them was a gigantic metal cube the size of Tokyo Central Station. If they failed to destroy this, then the entire tower was going to be crushed. The villain was also at the end of his rope with how much power he's used up to this point. This was the final confrontation that would determine who it was that deserved victory. Even the air pressure as the cube descended was intense to the duo coming in with a punch from each of them. Right then, Izuku knew what to say as their combined attack was launched.

"Shining Detroit Smash!"

The cube wasn't just hit with the force of the punch from Izuku. An ungodly amount of energy poured into the molecular structure of the cube and turned the once dense cube into a shower of glowing ash. They weren't done. Far from it.

Watching his last attack go up like a puff of smoke made it clear that he was out of options to fend for himself anymore. Izuku and the metallic man were in the air and ready to end things. All the power of One for All produced a brilliant display of lights while the other began to sprout four jets on their back that had long streams of blue fire that launched the man along with Izuku for their final attack.

There was nothing else the villain could do except try and protect himself in a rudimentary metal shell. The impact completely atomized all the metal on the rooftop and rendered the once mighty colossus of metal into a cloud of glowing white dust. Unfortunately, the gauntlet couldn't take the overload of energy and dissolved along with the rest of the metal. At last, the fight was finally brought to an end.

A Few Moments Later

Hanging off of one jagged piece of upright metal was the villain completely unconscious. The headset was nowhere to be seen, though David couldn't have cared less at that moment. Izuku found himself back on the ground with the chrome man nowhere to be seen. Whoever that was had his utmost thanks in helping end the fight in the teen's favor.

"Izuku!"

Mina caught up to Izuku and just embraced him to make sure he was really alive and there. All the teens were able to finally breathe a sigh of relief as the morning sun came rising up over the horizon. From the elevators and over the edge of the rooftop came the Emergency Security Department officers and helicopters to help tend to the injured and assist with the clean up of all the damages.

Apparently the ESD were the closest to I-Island and had their communications suddenly cut off for no reason. Again, it was the lack of something that caused them to spring into action. David was ever thankful for the medics as he was lifted out of the rubble with the painkiller working it's magic to alleviate his discomfort. Melissa remained by his side as they were returned to a nearby medical camp set up at the airport. Nobody complained to the suggestions given to the teens after they were assessed to only be in need of some light treatment and a few days to take it easy.

Elsewhere

Inside of the luxury suite that Inko and Haru occupied was the green haired woman out of her evening wear and makeup, asleep on the bed. The bedroom door was slowly opened with the chrome man sneaking in gently so as not to wake the woman in bed. She stirred nonetheless and saw the metallic figure just give up and approach her. There was a gentle smile on her drowsy face as the metallic man sat on the side of the bed that she slept on.

"Busy night?"

The face of the suit pulled back to reveal Haru with an apologetic look on his face as Inko gently stroked his face.

"Sort of. I ran into Izuku. Don't worry, they let me know that it's nothing that some painkillers and a few days of relaxation won't fix."

It still worried the mother to hear her only child hurt. Since it was minor enough for even the medical professionals, then she supposed that she should count this as a blessing more than anything.

"Listen, I'm so sorry we couldn't go out last night. How's about I treat you to the island's finest eatery tomorrow night while we enjoy this vacation?"

Her hum of approval was the only vocal response she gave Nakamura before yanking him down into the bed to reveal that she went to bed naked the night before. Just because their evening was cut short didn't mean they weren't able to enjoy the post festivities.
