Nabu Island
On a remote island south of Japan's coast stood a community of country folk with little concern of the happenings of the mainland. It was a popular place for a quick getaway for those who knew of the island's charming beaches and lush natural landscape. There were so few people who lived on the island that every single resident who lived there knew each other.
A resident hero of the Island was someone everyone held in high regard as their sole hero who spent many years watching over them. His duties were those of the community's needs for the most part, since the worst sort of trouble that occurred were often just those who paid a visit as tourists who got a little out of hand. It was around this time that the hero stationed at the island had finally reached the ripe age for retirement and left a vacuum where his presence used to be. Fortunately, there were some eager students quick on the draw who were more than eager to answer the call of duty.
The class that already had their fair share of dangerous situations for one lifetime were the ones to hold down the fort while a new hero was being selected for the island community. All of 1-A were assigned to the residential office of the previous hero during their stay at Nabu Island. A charming yet quaint place located central to the island's main community.
Everyone had their roles as they were called upon for daily tasks that many of the older members of the community were struggling with. Things like transportation for those who walked long distances or basic maintenance of the machinery that seemed to be older than any of the students sent to help fix them. One case that seemed to be a bit more exciting than the others was a case that involved a little girl calling in about her missing brother.
"Your brother? No problem, we're on it!"
Ochaco had been the one to answer the call when it came into the office. All the students were set up at their own little desk with phones and computers for them to complete reports of their daily tasks. They were all technically working out of the island's shared computer center during their stay on the island, but it still served its function nonetheless. They all were called out for some sort of work, so the space was a bit of a necessity.
Unfortunately for some, the volume of work didn't exactly translate to work everybody was needed for. Bakugou had been on the short end of the stick as it were and was just flipping through the island's guidebook for tourist hotspots to find anything to do while the UA class was stuck on the island.
Taking into account the nature of the search; the best people to look for the boy were selected to be Ochaco, Kyoka, and Izuku. A little improvisation of a rescue float with some antigravity later, Ochaco and Jiro were both hanging onto the rope strung along the outside of the flotation device while Izuku provided the movement. He considered that maybe ten percent would be more than enough and took off for the place the sister last spotted her little brother.
Being here on this island was sort of a trippy experience for someone like Izuku. There was nothing on the island that came close to criminal activity, save for one cat that had a strange habit of stealing people's underwear. No matter how many times they caught the little sucker, he was right back to stealing the minute he was released. So little in the way of some sort of overwhelming goal was perfect for the young inheritor of One for All.
Many students were already learning names as Iida was even aware of where one old woman's address was after she called in about her thrown out back while she was at the market. He was there in no time at all to give her a piggyback ride.
Time moved differently on the remote island. Something about being away from such a dense population while allowing oneself to decompress away from their responsibilities gave this program a more vacation-like feel to it.

Combing through the quaint little town, Jiro managed to find a heartbeat with her earjacks that were similar to those of a small boy. Up the hillside and towards a hiking trail stood a small jungle gym for the island children. Pacing next to the winding slide was a fidgety little boy who looked to be nervous about something.
Country life usually favored function over form. This child was sporting a pair of denim overalls that came down to his knees with a sunhat sitting upon his bronze locks. His white shirt was still just white and was worn to prevent any uncomfortable friction from his overalls or the strap from his yellow shoulder bag. He was chanting for his big sister while pacing, so it was easier for Jiro to single out the presence.
"Mahoro, where are you? Maho-"
"Katsuma? Hello?"
From the stairs that led up from the neighborhood, Midoriya crested the top and approached the boy that fit the description of the one the sister gave to Uraraka. Kneeling down to the child's eye level, the UA temp gently asked the boy if he was indeed Katsuma before offering to take him to his sister.
The child had stars in their eyes at the sight of a hero he's never seen before. A memorable experience cut short by a shrill voice coming down the spiral slide.
"You took too long!"
Coming down the equipment was a slightly taller girl wearing an overall dress that was pink instead of blue. By the looks of things, this 'rescue' was more of a test than anything. She kicked off the slide to start berating the hero for his lack of urgency.
"Why did it take you over an hour to find one little boy? I thought you were part of the famous hero course!"
Without skipping a beat, he started to explain that the search area was extremely broad for what the girl gave over the phone call. Lacking information caused the heroes to spread wide to start their search, which they scoured with as effective of a search range they could muster. It wasn't until their third spot or so that they found a lead with the unique sounds needed to find her brother. On top of that, the UA students were still relatively new to the island. They still weren't familiar enough with the residents to know exactly where their usual locations on the island were. To satisfy her callous viewpoint, he even made a note of it on his phone with his other memo's just in case it happened again in the future.
Every concern and point of contention she had with the temp heroes were addressed and knocked down. Now that the shoe was on the other foot, she felt herself get a little flustered. Midoriya easily picked up on this insecurity of hers and addressed her concerns.
"I know, someone you looked up to is gone now and you don't want someone who won't do as good of a job. He was special. You feel a little left behind. But don't worry."
A hand was placed on both childrens' shoulders.
"Who he was will never be replaced. Just take things at your own pace, okay?"
There was a moment that the little girl felt her face go red at the charming smile she saw Izuku give the siblings. Without saying another word, Mahoro pulled her hat over the flushed cheeks before taking her little brother by the wrist. The child being dragged along couldn't get free, so he did his best to thank the heroes for their efforts. Kyoka and Ochaco finally arrived just then at the sight of a flustered little girl and a befuddled Izuku looking over his shoulder.
"I guess everything is good now?"
Jiro could guess that the kid was never lost in the first place. Ochaco was the one who saw the girl acting like she messed up in front of a crush she had. Putting two and two together, it seems the sister's plan to foil the hero's rescue attempt backfired.
For the most part, Izuku was just glad the siblings were okay now that they were reunited. Both girls smiled and shook their heads at how good natured Izuku was with children. Something that reminded them of someone they all knew personally. Though after a few moments of silence, Izuku could tell the girls were fidgeting like they were nervous about something. Seeing Jiro nervously tap her ear jacks tip to tip was enough of a tell that something they wanted to ask was making them skittish.
"You guys okay? What's up?"
It was Jiro who answered Izuku when she used her thumbs to pull her shirt up and her pants down enough for Midoriya to get a good look at her more intimate parts. No underwear.
Ochaco was in the same school of thought with her looking at Izuku all innocently. Both teens seemingly have reached their limits on the island. Where they were bunking wasn't exactly the most private place to sleep with paper thin walls broadcasting any and all sounds. So far, the only way for Izuku to have any intimate time with his girlfriends was when he got paired with them on jobs.
So far he was able to reach Momo, Mina, and now these two. Looking all around them, he checked to see if the coast was clear before taking both girls by the wrists and dragged them behind him towards the forest trail path.
A Few Minutes Later
Kyoka was nervously hiding alone in the brush. Her breathing was erratic with eyes scanning all around for any sort of movement. All her nerves were hypersensitive to the environment around her, though there were a few nerves of the different kind that were sensitive in their own rights.
While running through the forest, she was completely nude. Wanting to spice things up, Jiro recommended to the other two a sort of fantasy she wanted to try out. Making Izuku out to be the chaser, the girls would strip down and run from him while he pursued a little while later after giving them a chance to create some distance. An incredibly risky game that would be difficult to pull off with a more populated forest area. Being on a remote island with forestry was another story…
She was dripping wet while trying to keep herself hidden. A puddle was already starting to form where she was squatting while trying to hide. Kyoka genuinely couldn't tell if she wanted to be caught or keep running.
Right now she was achingly empty with desire making her desperate for the one thing that could fill her up attached to the man who was out to fuck her silly. On the other hand, the chase was making this so exciting that she wanted to see what would happen if she deprived Midoriya of the body he wanted for even longer.
There was a snap she heard in the brush. Without thinking, she took off for a different part of the forest.
Certain that she was now safe, Jiro hid behind a tree while peeking around it for anything that might have followed. Nothing was following her. Her breathing evened out ever so slightly as the feeling of being chased ebbed out of her system.
"Wrong way."
Turning around, a pair of lips latched onto her mouth and kissed her deeply. Izuku was right behind her with a painfully erect penis waiting to bury itself into one of the women he's grown to love dearly.
At this point, the teenage girl was just glad that the deep ache was about to be satisfied. Both were sweaty from running and trying to keep themselves from touching themselves. Now Kyoka was about to be even sweatier with what Izuku was about to do with her. She was so painfully aroused that she couldn't resist wrapping her legs around Izuku's waist to help her lover get more control of their fucking. They kept kissing deeply while grinding up against each other's slick bodies. After a maddening chase through the forest, that infernal ache was finally about to be satisfied.
Izuku practically dropped her on top of his cock. There was no arguing from her as they started to slap against each other with a desperation to feel more. To urge her man to keep going, Kyoka grinded her torso against Izuku's muscular one. No matter how insecure she felt at times with her slender figure, Izuku and the others always made it known how much they found Kyoka to be irresistible.
The attention Izuku gave to all of her body was like he was trying to overcome some sort of madness. Even now he had his other arm wrapped around the small of her back to keep her body grinding up against his. It was nothing short of an addiction for Kyoka herself.
He pulled back to then grasp at the slim waist of his woman and pound even harder while bracing his heels into the forest floor to do so. Midoriya wanted to watch Jiro become a sloppy mess right in front of him. She gave him a hell of a show with her desperate expression becoming a stupefied grin of satisfaction. All her convulsions pushed him over the edge and forced Izuku to fill her up to the brim with his spunk.
Kneeling to the floor while still buried hilt deep into Kyoka, they touched foreheads and started laughing before kissing each other deeply. Their afterglow was shared before they were able to stand up again.
Before she could wipe away the leaking semen from her pussy, Izuku ordered her not to and just let it drip freely. She took several steps before she was already going insane for more of Midoriya's dick.
Elsewhere
All by herself, Ochaco couldn't believe how crazy she was for agreeing to such an insane idea. Stupid couldn't even begin to describe how short sighted this little game was. If anybody caught them, she would be forced to leave the island from embarrassment alone. Despite all her grievances, she still couldn't believe how wet she was. Right now, there was a hunter she was in love with who wanted nothing more than to find her and hold her down to fuck her stupid. To know that there was another out there probably already getting filled to the brim with his jizz filled her head with a haze that was making everything feel more floaty than what her actual quirk made her feel under its effect.
Scanning the forest from behind the tree she was hiding behind, she kept her eyes right there as she tiptoed away. What she thought was another tree she failed to see felt far too smooth and smelled way too good to be any tree she knew. After turning to the obstacle, she saw Izuku with an erection that she was at fault for.
He was advancing on the retreating girl with an intense glare that was sending her entire nervous system into overdrive. There was a frustration in his eyes over the fact that she wasn't being driven to the edges of her sanity with their lovemaking.
As she was backing up, an extremely soft and sweet smelling tree cut off her retreat. Said tree then suddenly grabbed both wrists from behind to restrain the girl from escaping.
No tree was capable of such an impressive feat. A tongue lapped at the back of the heavily aroused girl's neck as two thin tendrils wrapped themselves around her tits. An involuntary moan found its way out of the country bumpkin as Izuku picked up Ochaco by her hips to line himself up with the girl's entrance. He sank himself into her with one slow motion that had both of them shivering with pleasure. Not wanting to be left out, Kyoka wrapped her arms around Ochaco while using her hand to force Ochaco to turn her head towards her face to kiss the living daylight out of her.
Both girls were kissing each other deeply while Izuku was busy making sure that Uraraka got her share of the lovemaking. He was struggling to keep himself steady with how soft the girl's ass was against his palms. The flesh was a lot like the girl herself; gravity defying. It was his mission to make sure that Ochaco was drooling like an idiot with his skills. One for All activated to five percent to give him the strength to last longer in this girl's tight pussy.
Meanwhile, Kyoka watched as Ochaco was losing her mind while she had the girl trapped in her grasp. There was so much desperation in Ochaco's eyes as Kyoka watched the pleasure overwhelm the girl she was in love with. Izuku filled Ochaco while Kyoka kissed as deeply as she could to muffle the screams of intense pleasure.
From there, they just fucked for the next two hours or so out in the open. Thanks to Izuku's instruction to the girls to keep them close to where their clothes were, all of them were able to make it back to the bathhouse for a quick wash before returning to the office.
In Izuku's mind, there was nothing that could possibly ruin the time he had with all the women he loved dearly. This program was nothing short of perfect for Izuku.
A Few Days Ago
Up on a mountainside freeway was a high speed chase involving several American muscle cars and a heavily armored transport truck. Inside of all the cars were heroes who were issued the cars thanks to sponsors from America itself. The truck was being managed by a single driver by his lonesome, yet that was more than a challenge for the many heroes involved with the chase.
Inside of the truck was a single man at the wheel. Their outfit was that of a villain that was fond of mountain hunting during the winter. Pants and boots with white being their primary color scheme with a leather jacket dyed white and a high collar with fur sprouting around the collar. Their hood was a separate gray hood from a jacket they wore underneath the leather jacket with a steel mesh helmet colored in winter camo.
His driving had been an extreme annoyance for the heroes involved. Taking advantage of the armored vehicle, he was nothing but an absolute headache to deal with.
Rounding the mountain highway, the truck hit the brakes and caused a hell of a collision that took down two cars that weren't ready for the high speed chase to come to a screeching halt. The front ends of the cars were flattened while the armored transport remained intact. In no time at all, the engines roared to life to slingshot the truck forward into the high speed chase that it was involved with.
The other two pursuers were struggling to maintain the ideal distance to do the maximum amount of damage while staying out of the range of the driver's extremely nuanced offensive techniques. One hero tried to fire upon the truck with their machine gun arm with no success.
Now the man driving the truck was just about done with this little game. He whistled several specific pitches and allowed the others to do the rest.
Outside of the truck, Rocklock swore he heard faint whistling when something else was starting to come up behind the chase. In the rearview mirror, there were three pursuers coming up fast behind them. Arriving on the scene were these three wolves that were large enough to be mistaken for lions. Their legs were moving fast enough to keep up with the vehicles involved in the high speed chase. Silver fur with sapphire eyes, these beasts were loyally following their master's command for their services.
Another sequence of whistles went off that then commanded the animals to take the offensive. Inside one of the vehicles was the hero Rocklock and his fellow hero. These things looked fierce and were already surrounding their car with one wolf on each side while the third one was right behind them. He was about to try and outmaneuver them when they suddenly did something that Rocklock did not expect in the least.
One wolf suddenly tackled the side of the car that was missing its windows to launch it into the wolf on the right. The hero was certain the wolf would be crushed against the concrete wall, but was proven wrong when the second wolf leapt up and actually kicked off of the side of the car to send it into a tailspin. Rocklock was forced to use his quirk to lock the out of control vehicle in place right as it was about to slide towards the barrier that was blocking the traffic from a sheer drop down a mountainside.
Now there was only one pursuing vehicle. It was up to the remaining heroes to bring this transport truck down. Inside of the muscle cars, the heroes recognized the need to be more aggressive to bring this high speed chase to an end. Things were going horribly for the heroes. Up in the sunroof, a hero stuck her head out to then use her electric whip quirk to try and bring down the vehicle.
The front window was suddenly bashed out to allow the man driving the vehicle a clear shot with their rifle. It looked like a world war two rifle at first glance, though the power of it was far from its modeled predecessor.
A thunderous shot went off that pierced the car enough to thread the needle and pierce the engine cylinders. An explosion went off that flipped the entire vehicle.
Further up the road was a roadblock that had only heroes standing in the path of the incoming vehicle. Endeavor, the current number one hero in the world, was now standing as the last obstacle between the truck and its freedom. He would be damned if he allowed this transport to get past him.
Through the window, there was something that the man driving the vehicle had in their hand that gave Endeavor pause. His eyes adjusted seconds before the truck was suddenly blown apart with the press of the detonator in their hand. The entire truck was a blazing avalanche of burning truck parts and steel plates that could only be avoided as the burning wreckage was tumbling down the highway.
All of the wreckage plummeted down the mountain at the bend that Endeavor and his sidekicks were posted at. It was some time until it was safe enough for the heroes to descend to inspect the wreckage.
At the bottom of the cliff was Hawk. He was inspecting the wreckage as Endeavor descended to come inspect the remains himself.
"You were here? Why didn't you help us?"
"Why would I help you apprehend an empty truck?"
Taking a closer look at the truck that Hawk was pointing their thumb at, the back container of the truck that he tried to stop was indeed empty. Not a single piece of evidence was there to prove this truck was even used to carry anything of significance. His fist tightened in frustration over the fact that this vehicle was nothing more than a distraction while the actual payload was probably long gone at this point.
Worst of all, the suspect driving the vehicle was nowhere to be seen. As of right now, this entire operation was a total bust.

In a different remote part of Japan's forest was a moving truck that was being backed up towards a group of vehicles parked on a forest road. The two disguised operatives driving the truck opened the trailer to reveal a life support system inside of it.
After checking the system diagnostics, the pod containing the life inside of it opened up to allow the one being transported out of it. The other people waiting for the one to be dropped off called the man by the name of Nine. His outfit was a suit of some sort that had these phials filled with a purple liquid jutting out from his back. He looked over the city scape and told the others that it worked. As a test, he approached the drivers of the truck before a gloved hand grasped the wrist reaching for the transport drivers.
It was the one who drove the empty truck to distract the heroes trying to intercept the delivery. If Nine could recall, his name was…
"Huntsman, what are you doing?"
His response was to show the man a piece of paper that had his writing on it saying that this wasn't part of the deal that was organized between his employer and Nine's people.
"So what? What are two nobodies to my mission?"
There was a significantly heavier atmosphere when the three wolves that assisted Huntsman's escape from the heroes came out of the shadows to start growling at the potential fight. There was another piece of paper behind the one that was revealed to Nine. This one was a short message that said that it was the deal or no deal. Terms were negotiated and remained as they were stated with no deviation.
The help that Nine and his group got from this mystery sponsor was invaluable for the leader's escape. Though it seemed that their sponsor was a rather cautious man to entrust the operation to a single operative. If the lives of two nobodies was worth it, he would honor the deal.
"... Very well. I shall honor the agreement."
Both drivers left without incident. Huntsman remained with the rest of the team as Nine looked over the city with a glint in his eyes for something he could see as his ideal prizes. Now was the time for the harvest of the necessary elements to accomplish what Nine needed for his final phase. This world would know renewal; whether it wanted to or not.
A Few Days Later
Every student of the UA hero association was already feeling the exhaust of the past two days starting to catch up to them. Some were complaining that the amount of work that was given to them was a violation of labor laws somewhere in the country.
Momo was the one to start an inspirational speech that worked for the current situation. They were all here to learn as much about being proper heroes by helping those in need, no matter how small the task may seem. The public depended on them and just being dismissive of their needs would be everything that they worked to prevent. If people needed their help, they could answer the call because it was the right thing to do. A bit of a second wind to continue their temp work on the island washed over the class after hearing their class vice representative speak her mind on how their work here was important, regardless of scale.
"Hello there, everyone."
At the doorway into their office was a good amount of the town citizens bearing a bounty of platters filled to the brim with local cuisine. Fresh sushi and other local produce arranged on each plate was mouthwatering to look at as the citizens of Nabu island carried the food and arranged them on the tables in the office.
All the efforts of every student in class 1-A was recognized by those they assisted throughout their stay on the island. The people wanted to give these highschool students a proper thanks for all the effort they made to assist everyone who called them for help.
Everyone accepted the generous thanks and chowed down on the sumptuous meal with wild abandon. After dinner, the class was beat neck tired and elected that Bakugou take responsibility for the night patrol. He was hardly in a position to deny the request since he had done nothing but sit at his desk all day. Begrudgingly, he went to put on his costume for his patrol around the neighborhood.
Later that Evening
Izuku was out front of the office practicing his combat drills while the others were turning in for the evening. Only he and Mina were out in the night with Mina simply sitting on the steps in front of the office with both her drink and Izuku's sitting next to it. It had been some time since the couple had this sort of time to themselves to just enjoy each other's company. Mina was just watching Izuku go through his routines of different kicks and strikes while enjoying the view of watching him work up a sweat.
Midoriya was out of his shirt at the request of Mina. Her desire to see her man glisten in perspiration was a request he couldn't find a reason to deny. He had been at it for roughly half an hour and had a decent sheen that accentuated all the hardened ridges of his physique. For the pink girl, it was getting increasingly harder not to just snatch up Izuku and drag him into the forest out back for several hours of playtime.
After some time, Midoriya finally decided to take a short break. His towel was tossed to him by Mina for him to keep himself from getting chilled from the nighttime air. The drink was graciously taken from the girl's outstretched hand and downed to the halfway point in a few short chugs.
"You're getting better. I can't believe you've come so far, Ikki."
A low chuckle from the bottom of his chest gave Mina a tingle up her spine to hear such a sexy sound from her man. He dried himself off enough to pull Mina into him and wrap his arms around her waist while her hands placed themselves on his broad chest. Feeling her soft flesh through the thin material of her top felt like a blessing for Izuku. Even after all these years, they still loved each other dearly.
They touched foreheads as Mina wrapped her arms around the back of Midoriya's neck. There were few things that came close to how good it felt to be with the women he loved. Looking into those golden irises that looked back into his own emeralds with love overflowing from them gave him purpose to be there for this special girl.
His thoughts then drifted back to when he was scared for the first time he thought he would lose Mina. What was just an accident made Izuku feel like the world was collapsing all around him. Seeing Mina plummet to what could have been her death filled Midoriya with dread. Sensing his discomfort, the very object of his desires and fears placed both her hands on Izuku's cheeks and questioningly looked into his eyes.
"... Sorry… I just… I was thinking about what happened. You were hurt and I was almost-"
In order to keep the mood from dipping into something depressing, Mina pulled Midoriya in for a deep kiss to dispel his concerns over what was just an accident. Both of them took their time to savor the taste of the other person while embracing one another.
Slowly breaking apart, the taste of Mina's toothpaste lingered on Izuku's tongue as Mina spoke from the heart to help Izuku feel at ease.
"You saved me. I couldn't have been in better hands, Ikki. The man I love would never fail to protect me. If anything, I'm grateful that you were the one who was there for me. So let me thank my rescuer properly, okay?"
This was too perfect for Izuku. It was this girl who made him feel so above cloud nine. They hugged as Izuku's thoughts were now drifting into something of a different concern. How he saved Mina was now starting to become a point of worry for the teenage boy. Whoever or whatever was inside of One for All was clearly a presence not welcome by the previous inheritors, yet he could sense that it was that very same presence that guided him to being able to utilize black whip in order to save Mina.
There was a sinking sensation in the pit of his stomach that whatever it was, he was more than likely going to meet it again sooner rather than later. A mystery he felt no need to rush to figure out.
A click of a tongue behind Midoriya alerted the green haired boy to a new presence. Based on the glare that Mina was shooting past Midoriya, he could guess who it was that decided to interrupt the moment of intimacy between him and Ashido.
"Ka-chan, thank you for your hard work."
Izuku's thanks was accepted with a short grunt while Katsuki walked past the couple without giving them a spare thought. Mina was still giving the blonde the stink eye as he was passing them by. It still seemed that the two teens still had a little bad blood between them. As much as Izuku wanted to mend things between them, he knew better than to try and resolve something that was out of his means.
Right then, a small voice belonging to a child spoke up and grabbed the attention of the three teens standing in front of the hero offices. All of them peered over to see a child that only Izuku recognized from earlier that day.
"U-um, ex-excuse me?"
Nobody interrupted the nervous looking child from speaking their mind. What he did say once he was able to become vocal caught them a little by surprise.
"T-there… There's a villain!"
Collecting themselves, Izuku shot Bakugou a stare that Katsuki understood. The subtle shake of his head was enough of a tell for Izuku to confirm his suspicions of the situation. Not wanting to leave the child hanging, Midoriya knelt down to the child and asked where the villain was with a serious look in his eyes.
Later
All three teenagers were speedily making their way over to the location specified by the boy where the villain he saw last was. While the bay, Katsuma, was being carried by Bakugou; Izuku was carrying Mina in a bridal carry while both used their speed to quickly get to the place of concern. While she was more than capable of skating over on her slime, it was a treat to feel Izuku while he carried the girl without a shirt still.
Past grain fields and into the grassy fields of the valley underneath a mountain was where Katsuma directed the junior heroes. Arriving at the location, Mina and the child were both set down while Izuku and Katsuki walked up to what looked to be a large mantis creature loitering about next to some old castle ruins. Its attention seemingly turned away from whatever it was doing to stare at the newest arrivals. As it was rearing up to approach the group, there was already enough confirmation after it took its first step for the teens to realize what was going on.
Izuku asked Mina to look after Katsuma while he and Bakugou went to address the situation. The child was a bit confused as to why the heroes he called were acting so nonchalant about such an intimidating looking creature. Neither teenage boy looked the least bit worried as they walked at a leisurely pace towards the creature.
The colossal insect itself was waving its arms around while roaring to intimidate the two approaching the oddly bioluminescent creature. Both were now standing at the foot of the creature as it was now swinging one arm down towards them. Before it could collide with the ground, Izuku was the one to speak up and cause the beast to stop in its tracks.
"You can come out now. We know it's you."
It paused and was now looking to be a little panicked for a monster that was about to land a killing blow. Without warning, the giant mantis faded away into nothing.
There was a small commotion behind some of the rocks to their left, so they investigated and caught the one responsible for the appearance of the giant insect. Just as Midoriya expected, the same girl in the pink overalls earlier in the day was trying to make a break for it by trying to silently crawl away. What foiled her escape were the loose rocks that she brushed aside to make the way more comfortable for her hands and knees.
Looking up at the two boys who caught her red handed, neither of them looked pleased with the little antics that the girl got her brother involved with. She did her best to come off as oblivious with little success.
"Oh, uhhh- that villain was an illusion? I didn't-"
"Do you know how much trouble you're in right now?"
Katsuki was the one to cut off the girl for her irresponsible behavior. Izuku didn't want to be so blunt, but the fact remained that this was a huge problem that this child caused.
"What? I didn't do-"
"We already had an idea. You do know that it's illegal to call in an incident when there is none, right?"
Now it was Midoriya who spoke frankly about the gravity of the situation. Had this been somewhere on the mainlands or involved the local police, there would have been much larger repercussions for what she did.
Mina held the boy in a loose hug from behind and saw what had occurred. While they were all approaching the place that Katsuma was directing them towards, Midoriya briefed Mina on what he and Katsuki suspected was a false call for help.
He explained that Katsuki had been out on patrol and hadn't picked up on anything while doing his rounds. The young Bakugou may have been temperamental, but he was far from being ignorant of the happenings around the island. On top of a lack of noticeable activity, the fact that the sister wasn't with the boy was another tell. Someone as attentive as that girl was very unlikely to leave her little brother to go and fetch help when she had a cell phone with a signal still available all around the island.
Their guess was also based on the fact that the boy was looking to be more nervous than fearful without any signs of being winded. Had there been no means of communicating through the phone, the boy should have been more than winded in the face of a serious incident like this one. All that was left to check was the actual incident Katsuma called in.
Actually seeing the supposed villain was more than enough evidence to prove this wasn't an actually dangerous situation. Each step the giant mantis took produced no rumbling or sound. The air was also completely serene without a single breeze being produced by the massive movements of the insect. Everything added up to this just being a ploy from someone who was out to test the heroes on their merit.
As Mina was standing off to the sidelines with the boy, Izuku and Katsuki were lecturing the child over her rash actions. Izuku had to step in once in a while to reign in Bakugou's harshness while they were disciplining the child.
Eventually, the girl and the brother were released and free to go. The older sister was sniffling and teary eyed while the boy held onto his big sister's hand while they went home. Both boys were tired after having to deal with what was nothing more than a false alarm.
Meanwhile, Mina was looking on; impressed by the maturity of the two junior heroes. It was no surprise that Izuku was able to be so level headed, though seeing Katsuki act in a similar manner alongside Midoriya helped paint Bakugou in a more positive light in her eyes. Perhaps he really did seek to change from his old ways of just being temperamental.
Since it was getting late, the group decided to head back for the evening where the couple took a bath before hitting the hay. Katsuki finished his night patrol before doing the same. Not an ideal evening; though at least nobody was actually in any danger.
Mainland Japan
A truck driver was doing his nightly runs throughout the city as he was playing a video from his kids from the island that his family was residing at. Katsuma and his big sister Mahoro were telling their dad that they were very much looking forward to his return in several days.
To him, they were all the reason he needed to work hard to provide for their needs. It was a blessing that he had such loving children who still loved him dearly despite being away for work so often. He was going to treat them with souvenirs when he got back home to Nabu. A sentiment that was going to have to be put on hold as he heard knocking on the driver's side window. Turning to his right, he was shocked to see a man in heavy garbs point a gun at him.
The masked gunman pointed his head to his right, indicating to the driver that he wanted him to get out of the truck. There was no point in resisting since he knew his windows were far from bulletproof.
Getting out of the truck, several other intimidating looking individuals came slinking out of the shadows while the barrel of the rifle directed the driver by pushing him from behind. None of these individuals looked as though they were just trying to get their packages early. One person who stood out to the innocent man was a man wearing some sort of strange dark violet armor while sporting white hair that went past his shoulders. This individual was looking the terrified delivery driver in the eyes as he approached.
"I finally found it…"
"F-found what?"
His question went unanswered as the mysterious stranger wrapped both his hands around the driver's head. A painful aching sensation racked his skull as the mysterious stranger's eyes began to glow gold as he was doing whatever it was he was doing.
"Don't worry, I won't kill you. I will be taking that quirk, though."
After finishing absorbing the man's quirk, Nine dropped the innocent man and let him collapse onto the ground unconscious. He could feel the power he just achieved coursing through him while it was being enhanced inside. The temptation to test out his new ability was too great to pass up. Raising his right hand, the group leader was about to create a lightning storm to rain down on the unsuspecting city when the raised arm was suddenly clasped in Huntsman's gloved fist.
Everybody else in the group was suddenly tense at the sudden display of physical restraint that the mystery man displayed against their leader. All of them were ready to take down the renegade of their group as Nine questioned what Huntsman was doing.
"What is the meaning of this?"
His response was written down on the notebook he used to communicate already. Behind him, the three trained wolves were all snarling and ready to fight at the sudden aggression that was being displayed against their master. On the piece of paper was a similar message to the one that was written down when Nine contemplated taking the undercover drivers' quirks. If he were to unleash his power upon the city, then it would breach the deal brokered between him and the benefactor that gave the man his freedom in the first place.
Whoever this mystery sponsor was; it was starting to piss off one of the henchmen that followed Nine. They were wrapped up in red bandages from the nose down with a flak jacket and sword on their back. It was a bit of a ninja motif they were going for with their costume with the sword on their back completing the look.
"Enough! We're here to cleanse this world to usher in the new age we are fighting for! All you're doing is just saying no to everything we do, and it's starting to get fucking old."
The others were ready to fight and the one known as mummy was already activating his quirk to take on this unknown combatant. This man was too much of an unknown factor to simply allow to continue the journey from here on out.
"Either you back off or we make you…"
There were a few tense moments where neither side moved. Only Huntsman turned his head to the crimson bandaged individual and peered at him out the corner of his eye. Masking his face only made the rest of the group more nervous over what the silent mercenary was actually thinking. Rather than a response directed at the one who made their demands known, the sound of a whistle with several quick pitch changes came out of Huntsman. A command that was directed towards those who understood the man.
All three of the wolves immediately dove towards the mad wrapped up in crimson bandages with their teeth bearing down on him. By the narrowest of margins he was able to restrain all three animals and encase them all in his scarlet wrappings.
An ability which allowed him to control the cloth wrappings on his body allowed Mummy the ability to control whatever inanimate object he captured inside of his bandages. Since the wolves were all living creatures, he couldn't do anything else but restrain them. For his purposes, that seemed to be enough as now the group outnumbered the mercenary four to one now.
"Looks like your mutts are a bit tied up now. So much for that little-"
Something was wrong. Each bundle that held a wolf each began to smoke with black wisps leaking out of them. It took no time at all before the animals were now starting to work themselves free from their bondage. Peeking through the damaged wrappings were the creatures escaping from their prisons of fabric.
Their fur glowed with a silver sheen while teeth that looked like molten gold were cutting away at the wrappings. To Mummy's horror, the wolves he thought were trapped were actually burning through his bandages with increasing ease.
He had no time to reapply another set of wrapping before the wolves tore through their restraints. Without another moment to even comprehend what just happened, Mummy's neck was captured in the white hot jowls of a wolf with its quirk active. His body was torn apart right in front of his allies by three violent animals all taking turns tearing off a chunk of the man's flesh.
The others were forced to watch their ally being torn to pieces by the trained animals that were also in possession of their own quirks. Nine looked to the masked individual who still was holding up the notepad with the message written on it. This man wasn't fucking around with the agreement that his employer and he reached for Nine's freedom. An open execution of one of his men was a clear enough message of the depths this sponsor was willing to go.
"... Fine. I'll honor the agreement."
All the others were a bit indignant to accept the circumstances, though were not eager to push the matter when the wolves began to snarl at them after they finished ripping apart their ally's body. Their quirk, silver lobo, made their fur burn hotter than molten steel while armoring them in said fur. Even their teeth were hotter than wielding temperatures while their power was active.
For now, the plan will continue as intended. Things were tense in the group, but not enough to call off the mission over one death caused by one of their own. The same couldn't be said after the mission was completed.
