All of class 1-A were working double time to see to the needs of the island residents. A local packing plant was the safe haven that currently housed the civilians forced to take shelter from the villains still running rampant all over the island.

Those with quirks like Momo and Denki had their work cut out for them to help provide power and basic essentials for the civilians crammed into the limited space of the shelter. They didn't let up their efforts despite the protests of their classmates to at least take a break. It looked dire enough without their current output, so they kept at it.

For the most part, the food supply was more than plentiful for the time being. There were enough ingredients to last the entire island for a few days until help would arrive. The students were required to send in a report every evening after their daily tasks to the academy, and not getting one would cause enough suspicion as to the lack of communication to launch an investigation.

Now they had nothing to do but wait for help to arrive. Some citizens were expressing concern for where the villains were, though the answer they got from the young herpes was that they were guaranteed their protection.

In reality, even the students weren't sure as to where the villains were or what had happened back at the grassy hill where the group of criminals started to turn in on itself. From what they could tell; someone in the villain's ranks had revealed that they all had some sort of agreement that seemingly fell apart for some reason, which led to the fight that allowed the young heroes to pull out their injured classmates along with the children that needed protection.

One room in the large industrial building was allocated as the temporary medical wing for those with serious enough injuries. Though the number was small, it still posed a problem for the few doctors and nurses trying to help their injured.

The most serious injuries amongst them had been none other than Izuku and Katsuki. Their injuries included puncture wounds, broken ribs, internal bleeding; all things that required more serious treatment back at the mainlands. Only the external wounds were treatable with the limited resources and abilities available to the medical professionals.

Mina had been glued next to Izuku's side for the entire time since bringing him up to the nurses. Her hands were cradling Izuku's right one as she had to once again watch the man she loved bedridden with severe enough injuries to warrant serious concern for his safety. Ochaco sat right next to Mina to offer her much needed emotional support for the man they both loved dearly. If things didn't change for the better, this may be forced to take more desperate measures.

"I-I can help!"

A brave voice of a child spoke out to lend assistance to the unconscious boys. Katsuma wished to lend a helping hand in assisting the recovery for the two heroes who almost gave their lives to save him and his sister.

He was ushered in to sit between the two teenagers to touch their arms and begin regenerating their cells from within. Though his quirk was more effective with type b blood, Katsuma felt compelled to at least try to give these two a fighting chance. It was the least he could do for them.

A soft green glow enveloped Bakugou's and Midoriya's bodies. Whatever Katsuma was doing, it was going to take some time before any noticeable progress would be made.

One Hour Later

Neither Izuku nor Katsuki had shown any signs of regaining consciousness. Meanwhile, Katsuma was looking worse for wear after over an hour of using his quirk. His sister wanted her brother to take a break, but he simply insisted that he can continue.

It frustrated him that it still looked to be fruitless for his healing to work on other people's bodies while they possessed a different blood type of b. If there was just something else to help his quirk get a bit more leverage in healing the damage.

From outside, a howl that rang out through the night and into the building alerted the inhabitants that something was right outside the building. Not even Mina or Ochaco could ignore the possible threat that stood outside of the safe haven that held all the innocent people they swore to protect. Many of the students who were just assisting with basic tasks got up and raced to the source of the howl. They all knew that a howl could mean that one of the villains had located the shelter and was standing outside.

Steeling themselves, Iida and several others opened the front doors; expecting the worst. Instead of a villain with three wolves at the ready to attack, only one wolf could be seen sitting in front of the facility. It was a safe distance away with something that looked like a bag in front of it.

To all their surprise, it just picked up the object and started to walk up to the students. The rain had wet its fur to the point of it being completely soaked. When it was just a few meters away, the students were all tense as to what this animal brought to their front door. All it did with the bag was just put it down on the wet ground and nudge it forward with its snout.

Ochaco couldn't help but think how cute it was to see such a large and intimidating wolf act so docile while presenting something that looked to be a peace offering.

Either way, the wolf just turned away to make its way back into the dense forest behind it. Before approaching the bag that was dropped off by the wolf, they all waited until it completely disappeared into the brush before Iida cautiously approached the black bag.

Opening it revealed something they couldn't believe that was from the wolf or their master. Inside of the black zip up bag, there was a multitude of medical essentials such as anesthesia, antibiotics, steroids, and several implements that the students couldn't recognize. WHatever good graces came their way, this gave them exactly what they needed to treat those who needed immediate medical attention.

Iida rushed the supplies to the doctors, to which they immediately began to administer proper care to assist the injured. One doctor noted that some of the medical supplies were rather expensive for just being given to the heroes out of nowhere. There were even medical tools that only the ESD had access to for high risk patients. Not wanting to look a gifted horse in the mouth, the medical professionals began to assist everyone.

Katsuma was perhaps the most grateful for the sudden boon to heal Katsuki and Izuku. With the additional meds and treatment, the results were far more noticeable now as even the color was returning to their faces.

Out in the dark, returning to their master was the wolf who delivered the package as instructed. He silently patted it on the neck before turning back into the rain choked forest with his companions in tow.

Elsewhere

Holed up in a remote harbor shack were the villains that wrought destruction on the innocent population of Nabu island. While their leader was bedridden, the other two villains weren't much better off.

They managed to scrounge up some medical supplies to help treat their injuries from their scrap with Huntsman and his three mangy dogs. Chimera had deep lacerations all over his body with a bullet wound through the shoulder while his female compatriot had a bullet wound through her left arm and a bite wound in her right thigh.

Not only did Huntsman kill one of their comrades, he even forced them to go into hiding right as they were about to complete their objective in obtaining a cellular regeneration quirk for Nine. Nothing about this situation was ideal for the villains.

"Fuck!"

Chimera had his fill of the mercenary that the mystery sponsor that managed to smuggle out Nine stuck to their hips. His only regret was not killing the man before Mummy met his unruly death at the teeth of those vicious wolves.

"Calm down, Chimera! We still don't know if he's looking for us. Right now, the rain is the only advantage we have. As long as those fucking dogs of his can't sniff us out, we can't afford to give ourselves away…"

If only Nine hadn't made that damn deal with those shady business types. The offer they had on the table just seemed to be too good to be true.

Their ragtag group of villains were those who were persecuted by society and further ostracized for taking action against the public. Years of being rejected drove this group to the edge of their patience. Being this close to their goal while still unable to grasp their objective felt like every definition of the word frustrating.

Nine recruited his team members personally with the intent of bringing down the current structures of modern society to allow a new reign on anarchy to dictate how the world should operate.

Where the strong would inherit the throne.

Some time back, Nine had been contacted by someone from the league of villains. They had taken notice of Nine's abilities and wanted to run some tests to see if he had what it took to undergo an experiment that would change him into an unstoppable force of nature. On top of being given a ticket to the big leagues, they promised to address the second issue that Nine had at the time.

Due to some unfortunate circumstances, the powers that Nine possessed were also killing him. The use of his powers kept breaking down the soft tissue in his body by nanoscopic increments. He used his abilities too often and all the little damage had finally started to take its toll on his body. His body now began to show symptoms similar to that of advanced leukemia. Constant internal bleeding with constant anemia made it almost impossible for the villain to say no to any sort of help regarding his health.

After the experiment, things were finally starting to look up. One stipend that had the group rush for time was the fact that the experiment technically caused the symptoms to accelerate with the usage of Nine's power now.

Chimera was already about to lunge at Huntsman for the seemingly unexpected betrayal, but Nine stopped his loyal comrade before he started spilling blood all over the ground. The one who agreed to break them out displayed interest in monitoring Nine's progress as time went along. They even were generous enough to provide profiles on quirk users that may be of interest for the group as well.

Now that Nine got his enhancements, he spoke to the group regarding the presence of Huntsman and his purpose for traveling with them as they began harvesting quirks.

Firstly, the sponsor wanted the group to keep moving across the country. Lingering in one place for too long posed too much of a threat to both parties' interests, since the authorities would be quick to move in on the group. Second, Huntsman had to remain with the group at all times to guarantee that the group would stay in line and not just run off after they got what they wanted.

Thirdly, getting civilians involved was strictly off limits. Only if the civilian had the quirk they were looking for could be targeted. Added to that condition, children were strictly off the table. For that last rule, it couldn't be negotiated on.

Since the sponsors were still a public company, they didn't want things to escalate to something truly unmanageable. Nine and his group didn't have a clue as to who these people were, nor did they care. If this got them all the support they would need, then they would happily bite the bullet. Unfortunately for them, things started to gradually escalate the closer they got to their goals.

Nine began to feel a bit overzealous with the use of his control of the weather, which forced Huntsman to step in and prevent the city from becoming the aftermath of a cataclysmic storm. That was when Huntsman called his dogs in and killed their ally.

Tensions were only growing since, with Chimera growing to hate the silent killer. Only Nine's authority kept him from trying to gut the masked mercenary along with his mutts.

In the present time, it became clear as to why the people who backed their escape attempt stuck only one person to the group. They were confident that Huntsman would be more than enough to keep them all in line when they got any funny ideas about ignoring the terms of the contract drawn between them.

Tomorrow would be the day they would take the island by storm. All they needed was the kid's quirk and nothing else. With that, they would be unstoppable.

Elsewhere

Katsuma had spent another hour at the bedsides of Izuku and Bakugou. Thankfully, the both of them got better first aid from the kit that had been given to the UA students and looked to be almost back to normal.

Inside of the kit, an interesting solution that the doctors found turned out to be some sort of bone adhesive. A syringe that also contained a small datapad filled to the brim with instructions on all necessary treatments gave the doctors the ability to treat the worst of the broken ribs in Katsuki. The needle needed to be inserted into the broken spaces to help speed up the progress of the mending that the body was responsible for. By combining this with Katsuma's cell regeneration, it put less strain on the boy to try and take care of the entire process himself.

Izuku received a sort of microfoam solution that treated puncture wounds. A type of foam filled the wounds through a unique gun-like applicator and did something that even the doctors were startled to see.

Reacting to the blood, the foam had bubbles so tiny that it would start to form artificial blood vessels when the pressure started to mount on the substance now filling the space. This would then create a sort of artificial tissue that would carry blood to where it needed to go, so long as organs weren't damaged.

For the most part, this made Katsuma's job way easier. Most of the stress was taken away and it looked like Izuku was just about to wake up any moment now.

Staff Lounge

In the factory's lounge, the UA students were going over all the available information on the situation. Clearing the fog before acting was essential if they wanted any hope in protecting the island inhabitants.

"All right, here is the current situation. Right now, the school should have already expected the daily report to arrive. Since they can't reach any of us, help should be arriving by tomorrow morning."

This silver lining gave a lot of students hope that things could perhaps work out for the better. More importantly, the immediate threat was that the island had several villains out for blood with some sort of strange infighting happening between one member and the others.

"What about that one guy? He was kicking their asses from the look of things. Maybe he's trying to help us?"

"He also blew up the police station, remember?"

Reaching a verdict on what to do proved to be a challenge. To rely on a wild card such as the man who had command of those wolves felt too risky. Perhaps he could provide some aid in assisting the heroes, though they still didn't know what his motives were.

None of this felt helpful for the most part. So much undetermined information left everyone scrambling for something more concrete. Right as Katsuma wanted to say something, another voice interrupted him before he could even utter a sound.

"Sorry about that. Did I miss anything important?"

A recovered Izuku made his entrance with a sheepish scratch of his head that many of his classmates knew to be synonymous with his personality. Without a beat being skipped, a pink blur raced to the green haired boy and glomped him to the floor. Mezo had the sensibility to cover the children's eyes as Mina kissed Izuku like he was a freshwater spring for her desperate thirst. Every other girl in the class huddled around to check on the recovered Midoriya to see if he was alright. All except for Mineta, the other boys were also glad to see Izuku around and about yet again.

Once allowed to be let up, Izuku got more information regarding the predicament. So far, the current situation looked dire. These villains were skilled on top of being powerful. Midoriya pondered on what he could remember before passing out and felt like he was missing something. Some sort of detail that could help change the tides of fortune.

Outside, a trio of howls could be heard throughout the facility. Hearing such powerful howls put the entire facility at unease. It looked as though someone wanted to make themselves known for a second time.

Outside

All of class 1-A exited the front of the building and saw a familiar foe standing in the rain with his trained animals. Aoyama and Mineta were the least trusting of the man who used his wolves to juggle them around like a bouncy ball earlier that day. The others were still suspicious as to why the villain who blew up the police station was now standing out in the open.

Bakugou rejoined the group when they all descended to see what the commotion was all about. From what he could tell, The weapon he saw the man possess earlier disappeared without a trace.

"... What is it that you want?"

Iida had been the first to speak up against the silent villain. Fear didn't keep him from being the leader he needed to be.

There hadn't been an audible response from the villain. Rather, he did something that nobody expected. His mobile was pulled out of his jacket for him to then start typing away at it. He then put the still open mobile in the mouth of one of his wolves for them to take it to the teens. It was rather disarming for the students to see what should have been an enormous, vicious animal; trot over to them with something in its mouth like it was a house dog playing fetch.

It sat in front of the students in the rain with the lit up mobile still in its mouth. Again, Iida took initiative to be the first to react. He plucked the phone out of its maw, to which it licked its lips with the thing in its mouth now absent. Ochaco once again felt her heart ache at how cute the large brutish looking animal was acting.

Reading the screen, Iida passed the mobile to the other classmates for them to make their own assessments on what to do with the request sent to them. One by one, they all read the message and looked to one another silently with the answer already agreed upon.

They all started to raise their right arms, which told the one who sent the request that it was now alright for him to approach. Though they were on guard, the heroes felt that perhaps this man truly did want to assist the students in some way that wouldn't put them in harm's way.

He was now standing close enough for the teens to take in the appearance of the nameless mercenary that traveled to this island with the other villains. He was dressed in white clothing that looked to be more suited for winter hunting. His coat looked as though it came from an expert leather worker for weather conditions such as this.

Before more of his appearance could be committed to memory, he began to reach into his jacket for something. Tensions were still high amongst the students, so they all prepared for the worst as Huntsman pulled out a notepad and pen from inside of his jacket.

He was underneath an awning that kept the rain away from the paper, so he fished out his notepad to start writing what he had to say to the students.

Rather anticlimactically, it was when he started to write that he looked to be struggling to get any ink out of his pen. Multiple swirls and other random scribbles along with a few taps on the paper failed to get any ink for him to write with. Many were even beginning to feel sorry for him when he started taking periodic looks at the tip of the pen with a befuddled atmosphere. Momo felt obligated to help the man with another pen, so she gave him a nicely crafted fountain pen for him to write with. Surprisingly, he was very polite when he received the writing utensil by accepting it with both hands and even bowing as he received it.

From there, he began to pen down what he had to say to the students. What the paper said was perhaps the one thing that they needed for them to start devising a counterattack against the rest of the villains.
