Complete limbo surrounded Toga.
Not even the sensation of gravity existed for her while floating in the void surrounding her. It wasn't a painful or pleasant existence to be here. Here, even thinking didn't seem all that important in comparison to simply existing.
A small tug started to make the teenage girl realize that this place didn't feel right. Following her gut, that tug became stronger as she kept following it.
Something was wrong. Something needed her to be somewhere other than here. Maybe that thing was where she was going right now.
Nakamura Household
Toga's eyes fluttered as the light started to register once more. Her body felt stiff and sore with every little move she made. More than that, breathing felt restrictive with whatever was on her face.
She moved the oxygen mask off of her mouth to then realize that breathing caused her chest to ache quite a bit. Though not being unbearable, it still felt uncomfortable for the most part. More of her senses started to attune to the real world once more as she regained herself. Turning to her right, Toga was a bit startled to see some strange little girl with silver hair and some sort of strange horn on the right side of her forehead looking intently at the teenager.
"Dad! She's up!"
Running off to a different part of the room, Toga tried to follow the child with her eyes when a very familiar voice reached her ears.
"She is? Toga?"
That voice had been ingrained in her memory for years. It belonged to someone who she considered family more than her actual family.
"Ha… Haru-chan?"
Taking a moment to cough, Toga cleared her throat before addressing the man who brought her here in the first place. Rounding the couch she had been sleeping upon, Haru pulled up an ottoman to sit at Toga's side as he helped her get her bearings.
"It's me. I'm here, kiddo. Just take it slow. You had your lungs burnt with internal bleeding in your chest. You're fine now, but take it slow."
That same protective and nurturing nature of his put Himiko at ease for the most part.
She followed the man's instructions in taking her time with anything she did after waking up. It was good advice since every little move she made ached like the dickens. Haru helped Toga sit up while helping to remove the IV hooked up to her right arm. He made sure that the bleeding stopped before putting a piece of gauze and taping it down to staunch the bleeding.
Giving Toga some room, Haru went into the standing kitchen to prepare the girl something nice and easy for her empty stomach. While doing so, Toga took the time to scan around where she had woken up after being asleep for god knows how long.
It was almost too surreal to look around the place and see that the room was large enough that the edges faded into darkness before any walls were visible. In the kitchen that stood in the middle of the empty space, Toga could see the man she recognized as nobody other than Nakamura work his skills that no other could in the way only he was capable of. Every element in the kitchen was under his command.
As Haru prepared something for Toga, the small child that had been spying on Toga as she slept nervously ducked behind the couch she had been lying on when Himiko laid eyes upon her. A few moments passed before Eri peeked her eyes over the top of the couch again.
Something told Toga that this child didn't actually see Toga as a bad person. It was more likely this little girl felt shy to meet someone she had never seen awake before.
Toga just remained patient while Eri kept peeping and hiding over and over again. When Eri finally felt brave enough to look at Toga for a little longer, Toga just drew her legs up to her chest and waved to the child with her fingers. Being the polite child she was, Eri waved back to the girl that woke up on her dad's couch.
From there, Eri approached Toga and quickly became attached to the teenage girl. Haru finished making some tripe soup to see that his adoptive daughter had become comfortable enough with Toga to sit in her lap while being hugged by the older teen. These two meant the world to him, so it warmed his heart to see these two get along so well. He even pretended to be busy on his phone for a little while to let these two bond a little more.
Eventually, Toga's stomach growled. That was Haru's cue to come in with a bowl of his soup made for the girl who just woke up after such a long time. Eri went off to do her own thing while Haru sat in front of Toga as she enjoyed the first meal in such a long time.
The one bowl of liquid nourishment filled Toga's stomach to satisfaction. Not eating for days slowed down her appetite quite a bit.
Haru took the bowl back when Toga returned it to him. She patiently sat on the couch for Haru to return.
When he returned, the girl could feel the atmosphere become heavy with Haru expecting the most obvious question to be asked of him. Taking her time before asking, Toga voiced the one thing that she wanted to know most from Nakamura.
"... Haru-san, who are you?"
Ball was in his court now. Nothing but the truth would satisfy either him or Toga. He looked Toga in the eyes as he answered her.
"You know me as the man who owns a food truck and raised you like his own. The truth is… Something complicated… Eve?"
"Yes, Nakamura?"
A voice from out of nowhere shook Toga a little. The voice sounded as though it originated from all around the room.
"Can you call him in? She's awake."
"Of course."
Sensing her unease, Haru told Toga that the voice was an AI. It failed to register completely as the elevator suddenly opened to reveal someone she didn't expect to see. Someone she thought couldn't possibly have ties to the man seated in front of her.
"Touya. Thank you for showing up."
"I've been freeloading off of you. I can't exactly just say no, can I?"
No ill will could be felt between them as Haru just chuckled under his breath at Dabi's retort. It seemed that Toga wasn't the only league member that possessed a history with Nakamura Haru.

He was back inside of the space inside of One for All. Izuku found more of his body being materialized in the strange place that still evaded his understanding. It was just him in the empty void. Black flames danced all around, bending and flickering to a wind that didn't exist.
Searching for an inheritor to explain why he returned here proved to be pointless. Nobody except him was there.
Scanning around, he could see something faintly in the distance from where he stood. Midoriya approached the unidentifiable object until he could see that it was no object, but a distant rainstorm. The space within One for All now had been divided between the original state and the strange rain that occurred when the strange presence made itself known.
Now alone, Izuku could only stand in confusion with the sound of heavy downpour being his only companion in this place that was still too far from his understanding.
Morning
Waking up to the feeling of another soft body against him helped to put Izuku at ease after such a hellish experience with the extremist villains.
For the most part, the students were still allowed to carry out their stay on Nabu Island to help with the relief effort. It still provided valuable experience to the young heroes to be involved with tasks that heroes often engaged with past the moment of glorious victory. There still was the aftermath to contend with.
Izuku was in no rush to get up, since Toru and Tsuyu were still snuggled up with him in his futon. The hospital finally let Izuku out after they treated the worst of his injuries after just another day in their care. Almost all the injuries he sustained were only dull aches that were tolerable for the most part.
Toru had her head on Izuku's right pec while Tsuyu nestled her head on his abs. These two were painfully adorable as they snoozed peacefully on top of him.
His hand brushed away hair he knew fell over Toru's eyes as she remained blissfully unaware of the loving stare her man gave her. Midoriya didn't need to see her to know what she looked like. He even turned down the chance to see her artist rendition of what she would look like visible, knowing exactly how she looked after months of being in a relationship. Every detail of her petite face had already been committed to memory through touch and physical contact.
The other hand stroked Tsuyu's ebony locks, each strand like silk in his fingers as Izuku watched her sleep on top of him. Many people who knew of the girl outside of their class still found her a bit unsettling with how emotionally neutral she seemed to be. To him, she was an open book he still couldn't see himself finishing with all the wonderful things he kept learning about her.
Being the oldest in her family made her very dependable for many to rely on her for anything they wanted to share with someone who would listen. Izuku knew that Tsuyu had been accustomed to being relied upon, while asking for nothing in return. That started to change when it came to Midoriya when they started going out.
She became more open to him with whatever she felt overwhelmed with. It didn't occur often, but still happened nonetheless. His ears took in everything she shared while offering his presence for her to lean on.
He had been the first person who she opened her heart to like she did.
Both girls were such a blessing to him. He counted all the days and knew to be aware of how much responsibility it was to be in such a strange and unique relationship with all these wonderful women.
Tsuyu was the first to stir from her slumber. A small moan that Izuku could feel through his chiseled abs alerted him to her waking up. The first face she technically saw waking up was Toru's, though watching Izuku staring at her so openly through the invisible girl's head made the teenage girl blush a little.
"Morning, Tsu. Sleep well?"
Another moan as she stretched out those mile long legs caused a small stir in Midoriya. She truly was a knockout with that body of hers.
"Better with you being here, now; ribbit."
Their small back and forth disturbed Toru from her slumber. Her chest dragged up Izuku's side as she slid up to kiss Izuku on the cheek.
"Mmmm. Mornin, babe."
"Sorry if we woke you. Did you sleep alright?"
A small nod confirmed that she didn't mind being woken up. All it did was give her more time to spend with those she loved.
"Good morning to you, Toru-chan."
"I know how we can make it better, Tsu-chan."
Asui didn't fight back at the pull she felt at the back of her head towards Toru's transparent face. They deeply kissed right in front of Izuku while pushing their chests down on the teenage boy's muscular body.
From his perspective, Izuku could see Toru's tongue play with Tsuyu's. Watching them make out so intimately definitely felt like the way to wake up in style. His hands got involved by massaging Toru's ass while tugging at Tsuyu's right nipple through her tank top. Neither girl had gone to bed with their bras on. The evidence of that being felt on his torso and fingers.
They separated with a string of saliva hanging from their tongues. This was a nice start, though still lacking for what these young lovers wanted.
All the other students were out helping the relief effort after all the partial destruction of the island. Only these three were in the girl's section of the sleeping quarters. Perfect for what they wanted to do for the next few hours.
Midoriya wanted to tend to his girls' needs, but that desire got squashed when they pushed him back down while kneeling over him like carrions over a fresh meal. Both licked their lips at the delicious meal at their mercy. Toru and Tsuyu worked together to remove all of Izuku's clothes first before digging in like he was the first meal in days.
Every inch of his exposed chest that didn't have bandaging tasted like heaven to the girls as they kissed and sucked their way down his body. His breathing hitched when the nymphos eating him alive both started to massage their favorite part of his body.
Standing up proudly at attention, the cock that Tsuyu and Toru wanted to please with everything they had to offer pulsed with vigor against their palms. Knowing what to do next by instinct, Tsuyu left Toru to take care of Izuku's upper half to attend to the lower one. She removed her shirt and stood to remove her shorts. Izuku admired the hourglass figure that revealed itself for him and Toru. Silky skin that molded perfectly over an athletic frame with wide hips made him salvate in anticipation of tasting her once again.
This attention gave Asui goosebumps. Kneeling back down, her tongue wrapped itself around the base of Midoriya's dick as she guided it into her throat. A vacuum like pull only she was capable of sent Izuku into a sort of temporary madness when she quickly started to fuck her own throat with his penis.
Sloppy squishes accompanied with satisfied moans from Tsuyu made Toru even more eager to get involved. She quickly got undressed and lowered her leaking pussy on top of Midoriya's face.
He immediately got to work lapping at the sweet tasting entrance that he was all too happy to indulge himself with. These girls were seriously in need of their man for the past few days with every desperate action they took to get their fill of his love.
Not wanting to waste the first load, Tsuyu straddled his hips and lined up the wet lips she had been massaging during her blowjob. Just inserting him into her gave the frog girl an orgasm that sent her eyes rolling to the back of her head. Following Tsuyu was Izuku, who couldn't stop the overwhelming shivers of his own release, shaking him to his very core. Though she wasn't having one herself; watching these two cum felt so right as she rubbed herself into a small orgasm.
Tsuyu latched onto Izuku's mouth with her own. They played with each other's tongues as Toru gently situated herself over Izuku as Asui pulled herself off. He still remained stiff after an orgasm that filled his lover to the brim, which Toru gladly took advantage of with how impatient she was for her turn.
Midoriya, being a habitual overthinker, would often try to predict certain outcomes based on what he could analyze. His girlfriends would often become intimate with one another when sex became a threesome or more. One of their favorite acts of intimacy was to eat each other out after he creampied one of the girls before giving another his due diligence. Toru started to lift Tsuyu's ass to her face when Izuku pushed the invisible girl back so that she could lie flat on her back.
Asui now sat on Toru's face like the muffled girl did with Izuku just a few moments ago. There wasn't much convincing she needed to start sucking on the cream filled cookie that was all hers.
It felt good to be such a kind and considerate lover to all these wonderful women.
A Few Days Later
The world of heroism hadn't been prepared to be confronted with the news of the most recent tragedy that took place in Japan. In the city of Daiba; a tragedy like no other took place, all of it being pinned on one person in specific.
Online, the chat rooms filled to the brim with discussions regarding the man they once saw as a controversial figure now painted him as nothing but a monster.
Multiple witness reports, as well as evidence corroborating the testimonies, placed Bloodsoaked as the one who killed hundreds of civilians in one day. Many have now labeled that incident as the Bloody Daiba Massacre; where one man sadistically killed off a portion of an entire city by himself.
Nobody knew why it was that the man who started as a vigilante killer now migrated his work to the public. All the public cared about was whether or not they could depend on the system that had been set in place for such an occasion. Many even started to point the finger at the heroes and ESD, who were being placed on the pedestal around the time of the incident. Only the Emergency Security Department provided a coherent answer to the transgression on their part.
A twist of the truth based on the premise of omission; a simple fact was that the city of Daiba elected that the newly formed government department of public protection keep itself outside of the city. What they failed to acknowledge was how the population came to such a unanimous agreement over the installation of an ESD branch in said city.
No information regarding the affiliation the majority of the city had with the liberation army had been disclosed. As far as the rest of the world was concerned, Daiba looked as innocent as any other city in the country.
Reality was often uglier than the perceived truth. The Liberation Army had its hands full regarding the recent failures of the incident, yet didn't skip a beat regarding its members.
Inside the main headquarters of the Liberation Army, a major conference had been convened to inform the tens of thousands of members remaining throughout Japan. Ridikiya, A.K.A Re-Destro, introduced himself in a wheelchair that looked several generations of technology ahead of itself. His usual proud demeanor wouldn't allow something like losing both of his legs make him out to be weak. Bravado saturated the speech he gave to the anticipating crowd, all stood to attention at their leaders beck and call.
"Liberation Army! Today, we are rebooorn!"
Following the defeat that the entire resistance suffered, a strong introduction needed to put the spark back into those that needed a cause. To complete that objective, a retitling of the original title that his father gave the resistance group he once controlled seemed appropriate.
Purpose never felt like a conflicted matter for the group that hid in plain sight of the public. To be a resistance came with its own risks. Some felt the risk bordered on lunacy, yet still managed to be drawn back in when their charismatic leader clawed them all back to the cause with his honeyed words. Words that Hawk knew to be a thin veil hiding a discord deep within the man scrambling to fix a shit show spiraling out of the leader's control.
Clapping along with the other liberation members, his mind returned to when he spoke to the man who wanted events to unfold as they did. The true maestro of the concerto playing center stage.
Several Weeks Ago
"Why?! Dad… This… I mean… Why?"
Keigo approached his father in their home when Nakamura senior provided his son with a dossier regarding the next few steps of what he had in store. Needless to say, he hadn't been happy about a few details that involved his father playing out a very compromising role.
"They're crazy fanatics! You don't need to take the fall they deserve. We have evidence. Solid proof. Why are you…"
He knew better than to question the man that controlled a nation. Knowing something still didn't prevent him from asking questions regarding the actions of whatever they did that looked to be irrational in his eyes.
His father turned to his son while seated on the couch. An image that Hawk knew over the course of his lifetime, living with his father in this strangely comforting concrete space. Even the same smile he knew to be his dad trying to be kind to his son marred the expression he would rather be filled with hatred and anger.
"... Keigo, c'mere and sit next to your old man…"
The seat next to Haru had the man pat it several times to invite his son to come speak with his father on more even grounds.
There was never an oppressive nature whenever Haru spoke to Keigo. It hadn't been necessary, since the boy knew better ever since he had been adopted. Hawk could count on one hand when his adoptive father took that tone with him. Such a rare occurrence warranted that he at least honor this polite request for discussion. They sat next to one another as Keigo's father took out a cigarette to smoke.
"... I know this seems unfair to your old man, but it's what puts the least amount of risk on anybody else."
"Meanwhile, you're suspect number one in the nation with a death warrant! They'll hunt you! Hate you!"
Seeing his son be so considerate of the position he needed to take for the plan to work hurt Haru deeply. He knew how much Keigo cared for him, and this plan would put the man who raised him as his own directly in the line of fire for future jobs.
To ease the mood, Two beers that the older man had chilled earlier were retrieved from where he hid them next to the couch from his son.
Two bottle caps later, both father and son were relaxing next to one another while enjoying their liter sized bottles of beer.
Keigo knew better than to argue with his dad at this point. This was Haru trying to get his son to listen to his side of the argument before he inevitability went along with his plan. With or without his son's help.
"... I know things look bleak for me, but I knew the risks of what I've been doing for the past few years. I want you to trust me. Please?"
That same look of asking he hated to see in his father's eyes met Hawk's gaze. Downing the rest of the beer in a single go; Keigo drunkenly started telling his dad to just do what he felt while disclosing he would be behind the older gentleman. No matter the circumstances.
Being dead was better than letting his father fend for himself in this crazy plan he had to start changing things for the better. For a world that could actually be the best that it can be.
