A cone of atmospheric friction formed all around Bloodsoaked as he fell past terminal velocity into a denser layer of air. His suit performed its job perfectly as he barely felt a thing as he started to slow down ever so slightly due to the friction of the atmosphere itself.

Finally, his speed evened out enough for him to shed the suit mid-fall and flatten out in a skydive to better aim towards his destination. He easily reoriented himself and identified the spot in the city he needed to make his landing. The plan A version of his assassination would be to fall past the city limits and make his getaway until he knew he was far enough to avoid suspicion if anybody saw him. Every part of the city was on high alert for any suspicious activity for this one operation to capture him in killing All for One.

Reason why he underwent assassinating All for One as Bloodsoaked was to divert suspicion away from the prison he owned. Having its integrity question was far more trouble than what was worth him just carrying out the job as his murderous secondary persona. It took quite some time for All Might and the other heroes to piece together the only thing that would make him take a risk to expose himself enough for them to have a chance to capture him. When the operation finally reached its developmental stages, he too began to prepare for the final stages before he would complete his final hit.

Approaching the areas outside of the city limits, Bloodsoaked sensed a familiar sensation he hadn't felt for a few weeks now. Looking towards the city revealed to him exactly what he suspected to be the source of that sensation. As if out of nowhere, he suddenly flipped himself up and suddenly stopped in midair while crouched down on one knee. His eyes focused on the reason why he mysteriously stopped falling with nothing visibly stopping his descent.

"You're not gonna get me with that old trick."

He had been well out of earshot when he made the snide remark against Stars and Stripes when she commanded the air to try and grab Bloodsoaked from out of the air. She clicked her tongue in frustration over his ability to evade her practically invisible avatar of herself with ease.

Running down the length of the colossal arm of the air construct of Stars and Stripes, Bloodsoaked quickly threw a grenade from his pack to blow off its head as a way to distract the hero for a moment.

She needed a moment to rebalance herself after her air titan had its head forcefully removed with high powered ordinance. By the time she managed to look back up to check for Bloodsoaked, he was nowhere in her visual periphery.

"Stars, he's headed for the city behind you!"

Someone on her channel pointed out the location of the murderer for her to swivel around and watch Bloodsoaked falling down towards the city, where several other heroes were already descending onto his location. Her anger over the deaths of her comrades drove the woman to give chase against the one who killed her precious family. This son of a bitch would pay for his crimes, one way or another.

Construction Zone

Bloodsoaked pulled his chute at the moment the thing would manage to catch itself on an incomplete pillar and tangle itself up in the rebar for him to swing into the floor below and make a break for it. It seemed that plan B now needed to be put into effect.

Because the location already had multiple heroes converging on it from all over the city, there were few options for immediate escape for Bloodsoaked. If he wanted to use this site's emergency exit route, it would have too many eyes on the real purpose of this hidden disposal site. He needed to make an appearance if he wanted to make it out of this situation. Still, nothing fell out of expected parameters for possible scenarios of his escape.

Outside of the building were the sound of multiple heroes about half a kilometer away from arriving on scene. There were likely eyes in the sky keeping tabs on his movements, so making his escape within this building would be necessary if he wanted to keep this site operational. Time was working against him as he finally identified the location of the hydrogen tank meant for welding purposes. The site only possessed these industrial grade tanks for both the purposes of maintaining appearances as well as creating an event that Bloodsoaked was about to incur.

The heroes all were about to converge on the location when their squad leaders commanded that the groups all stop in their tracks. They all barely managed to come to a stop onto the road directly outside of the building when they all witnessed Bloodsoaked suddenly make a running start off the top floor and leap off the edge in what looked to be a reckless act to escape his pursuers.

What nobody expected to happen was the violent explosion that sent all the nearby heroes flying. A deafening explosion not only stunned his pursuers, but gave Bloodsoaked a wave of air to help propel his jump to another part of the city.

Quite a few heroes were taken out of the fight by the explosion that just occured. Many of them were suffering from severe burns and concussions from the force of the explosion.

Those still able to fight were now playing catch up with their elusive target. Bloodsoaked had a hell of a head start against his pursuers from behind, but the ones still closing in from a distance were already made aware of the change of events. He was completely surrounded with hundreds of heroes all converging on his position. They needed this one moment to be the one to turn the tides of this battle. Bloodsoaked was on the run from his pursuers, so an advantage seemingly had dropped into their laps at the beginning of this conflict already.

When the heroes all closed in on where the killer was reported to be, there was nothing but commercial office buildings as far as the heroes could tell. Barely six seconds passed before a series of detonations within the immediate area went off all at once. Parts of some of the buildings collapsed from the sudden event involving about five or six high ordinance explosions.

Everything fell into a chaotic mess after the sudden disorienting distraction provided by a certain criminal who once again evaded the heroes. Even if they were able to reorient themselves after such an effective distraction, the one being pursued only needed a brief window to make his escape.

Elsewhere

Racing through the concrete jungle, Izuku did what he could to race towards the current known location of Bloodsoaked. Utilizing all his mobility quirks while maintaining his own well being placed him neck and neck with Mirko.

"Damn, kid! You're just full of surprises!"

His eyes were too focused on the mission ahead to acknowledge the female hero. Too many unexplained things involving him and this killer with one another. Who this individual was needed to answer for all the mystery involving them both. This single minded focus actually served to unnerve some of the other members of Midoriya's group. A kid of fifteen or sixteen with an aptitude for fighting way above your average junior hero with this sort of intense focus felt like the start of a villain more than a promising young hero.

Still, what hasn't changed was the need to apprehend Bloodsoaked. As long as he remained at large, complete peace was impossible.

He kept slingshotting himself at top speed across the city to confront the criminal who floated around him like a satellite moon.

Several Kilometers Away

What people didn't expect from a wanted criminal like the infamous Bloodsoaked always seemed to be the case. The problem with assumptions is that they need to exist for the opposite idea to be feasible. Nobody expected the dangerous killer to create a distraction with several grenades and just vault over the heroes running over to check on the source of said destruction. That sort of impossible bullshit felt too crazy for anybody to attempt. Many heroes were unable to react fast enough to the man who used some of the heroes as hurdles to race away from the center of the conflict.

Only those much farther back had enough time to react to the incoming danger. All the approaching heroes all made their stand in anticipation of Bloodsoaked. Dozens of heroes all stood at the ready in preparation of the killer approaching their location. Rooftops and streets were all occupied by heroes ready to take on the greatest enemy of modern society. Their focus on the incoming danger caused a tunnel vision effect that left them all vulnerable to any other possible threats around them.

A threat that now saw their window of opportunity to strike now.

From out of several buildings as well as the sewer systems, a counterforce of villains all converged on the ill prepared heroes too focused on another threat. This operation of theirs required an unprecedented amount of coordination from the last of the many criminal organizations wrung dry of all their resources and funding. Over eighty percent of this tactical counter force all consisted of former Paranormal Liberation Front members.

"Strike now! Kill them all!"

Nobody expected this reversal of events to occur. From out of rooftops and windows were dozens upon dozens of criminal villains all looking to gain retribution from their failures. These villains all erupted out of nowhere as a wave sweeping from the front of the counter front towards the back.

Before a single attack from the villains trying to take out the heroes could find their mark, one of the costumed criminals suddenly lost his head. In fact, many of the villains were all suddenly sporting critical injuries on their persons before they could actually stop the heroes at all.

Leaping high above the entire chaotic battlefield was a black figure who took aim at the other villains who were trying to peek out from their ambush spots. A flurry of hot metal all hit their intended targets as Bloodsoaked took over even this battle from the heroes who were vulnerable to this attack. In the killer's hands were a pair of guns that were equipped with long boxes sticking out the bottom of them. These bullets all were unloaded with purpose, wiping out one or more when they left at high velocity to kill their targets. Accuracy of this level left the hero Quickdraw speechless as none of the heroes had been hit by the seemingly random spray.

It was one thing to aim a single shot and hit one's target. This sort of accuracy that had someone use a fully automatic weapon and hit multiple targets once while leaving bystanders unharmed; it was fantasy at best.

Yet all the villains Bloodsoaked took aim at were now dropping like flies.

Death took over the entire field as more and more villains all erupted and all fell to a single shot from Bloodsoaked. Those unfortunate enough to cling to life after taking a bullet into their persons experienced excruciating pain as they bled out. Many heroes were so taken aback by the sheer staggering amount of death that some of them instinctively tried to save the critically wounded. One young man no older than nineteen choked on his own blood in the arms of a heroine as he begged to be saved. Seeing him die in her arms would forever haunt the woman till the end of her days.

The villains were in disarray as now their forces were dropping by the truckloads. Heroes were even trying to stop the death count from going up by whatever means necessary, yet the bullets somehow would always hit their targets regardless of any measures the heroes made to stop Bloodsoaked.

Almost a hundred heroes were converging on his position. There were less and less options available for Bloodsoaked to use for escape without having to fight.

When he finally came to a stop in the middle of a wide street, hundreds of heroes locked in on the killer while surrounding him from all sides. They all stood on the rooftops and the road all around him in a perfect circle. Knowing about his true capabilities prevented anybody in the growing crowd from getting any closer than the several meter radius established by the group. Everyone staring down the person standing motionless in silence felt how intimidating he truly was in person. Nobody felt any sort of hesitation or fear from this individual. To him, he might as well be standing in an empty street for how little concern Bloodsoaked had for his opponents.

Nothing but the sounds of the wind could be heard as the heroes all remained motionless in the presence of this embodiment of evil. Not even the sounds of stray animals or birds were present in this chillingly tense atmosphere. A couple of heroes who already fought the man once during the Liberation Front battle had no idea if the additional backup would actually do anything to benefit their chances of winning.

One sidekick by the name of Burnin recalled the first time she saw this monster face to face. That day in the rain would be a day she would never forget.

Several Months Ago

Standing next to the green fire quirk user in the rain was the backup force for the heroes all facing Shigaraki near the former hospital housing all those Nomu found dead by the same squad of heroes. Her stare scanned all the dead corpses of these mutated bodies of Nomu which looked more like animals than people.

Directly in front of the heroes, standing in a wide area absolutely covered in dead bodies, was the one responsible for tearing apart these creatures like a rabid animal. The heavy waves of bloodlust made her and the rest of the others sick to their stomach with fear.

These things had been reported to be extremely dangerous for anybody trying to engage the creatures in combat. Mission briefings informed all the heroes of how even one Nomu needed to be treated as a deadly threat when faced with one, even as a group. There must have been at least over fifteen Nomu dead based on the amount of meat and bones littering the streets all around Bloodsoaked. Looking at Bloodsoaked as he pulled his foot out of the mashed remains of the head he gruesomely rendered into a mash of bones and flesh further shook the nervous heroes unsure of their chances of even living past this fight.

He took four steps towards the group before stopping in his tracks, facing the group without uttering a sound. Only rainfall set the ambiance while the heroes prepared for the worst against this bloodied killer.

His first move threw their numbers into disarray.

Some poor newbie at another less notable hero agency suddenly saw his world flip ninety degrees onto its side. Immediately after the disorienting change in perspective, an explosive amount of pain sent him sideways through the group of his fellow heroes. Bloodsoaked had moved before anybody could react and used his leg to hook into the unsuspecting man's leg to fling him sideways into the air. An accompanying punch sent the man as a human chain shot through the crowd, sending a decent amount of heroes all to the floor with the force of that single punch.

It fell into a moment of panic from the unexpected surprise attack launched by the criminal serial killer. By the time the large group regained their coordination, it didn't matter as now Bloodsoaked already stood in the middle of the crowd with the knocked over heroes providing no resistance against his intrusion. He was now dead center of their numbers, free to sow his special brand of physical punishment against the unprepared heroes who so naively thought they could take him on with just their ragtag numbers.

"Get him!"

Surprisingly, the heroes were the first to take the initiative in one large unified attack to take down Bloodsoaked. Burnin also joined in on the first charge behind her comrades. She was the one who felt the world crawl to a sluggish speed as her eyes locked onto the side profile of the murderer through the large gap in the crowd.

Something about the way Bloodsoaked acted unnerved her. He didn't do anything impressive in the conventional meaning of the word. What she saw him do wasn't right to her at all.

He stood still.

Her mind slowed things down so much that Burnin couldn't even translate this feeling of unease into coherent thoughts to stop the charge. This state of hyper awareness did nothing to help her see exactly what happened next when her entire body collided with several large objects, sending her sprawled onto the ground with heavy weights on top of her. Regaining her orientation, the woman pushed through what she identified to be more members of her group groaning in pain.

At the center of the clearing, Bloodsoaked remained on his own two feet. In his right hand was the unconscious body of a random hero who happened to be too close for his own good to the renowned killer. Context alone could clue even the most deadbrained of people that Bloodsoaked grabbed the leg of one underqualified hero trying to attack him and used him as a human baton to knock the group back with one of their own. The flying bodies up front collided with those behind them hard enough to send everyone there towards the rain soaked streets.

Letting go of the unconscious body's leg, he just started walking over the groaning individuals struck with a surprise counter that injured more than half the heroes there.

"Sidewinder Sh-"

A lone man received the least amount of damage due to him being far enough away from the center while also being positioned just right to be only knocked off his feet. His immediate bravery was just as quickly punished when Bloodsoaked grabbed the hero's head and slammed it into the road. He was out cold with that single blow to the back of his head.

All the available heroes staggered back onto their feet to keep the fight going. Their opponent stood back up along with them. Even if this was going to be a losing fight nobody wanted to let this guy just walk right past them without a fight. That didn't change the fact they were gonna get the beating of a lifetime while doing so.
