That joint attack of theirs was some of the most damage they had ever pulled off in a joint assault. How Bloodsoaked looked completely fine after being crushed against solid ice and being blown to smithereens still baffled the trio. They never fought him face to face, so this encounter was quite the eye opener for them. Now he had his weapons out and looked just about ready to take these three on in a one vs three battle.

Izuku, Katsuki, and Shoto had no choice but to get ready for another grueling fight against this legendary killer. Finally facing off against Bloodsoaked in the flesh felt like nothing else they had ever experienced before. Now that they were his opponents, the atmosphere was heavy enough to crush their organs with how dense the air pressure felt. Breathing took a considerable amount of concentration to prevent themselves from passing out due to how strenuous it was for their bodies under the predatory gaze of Bloodsoaked. This was someone who killed thousands of dangerous individuals as their way of life. He wasn't just some powerful person with delusions of grandeur. Those who died by his hand were more than enough proof that he was genuinely dangerous.

"BLOODSOOOAKED!"

Zooming past the three heroes about to take on the infamous murderer was an intense mass of heat that rocketed itself directly at Bloodsoaked. It swept up the killer into the distance before arcing up into the sky. All of them needed a moment to realize who it was that took the killer on by themself.

"Dad!"

Endeavor had been out of earshot by the time Shoto called out to his father in the distance. He had his flame output set to as high as possible to separate Bloodsoaked from his son as well as his son's friends. His grip on the villain who spilled blood wherever he went remained sturdy as they flew up and above the city. He needed to create space between the city itself and Bloodsoaked before he could try anything risky to kill the murderer. Seeing the level of destruction that failed to kill Bloodsoaked back when Stars and Stripes fought the killer put into context how much more heat he needed to produce to do any damage.

Flying only two kilometers, Endeavor felt his arms become trapped by the one he had intended to fly out past the city limits. Looking back down at Bloodsoaked had Endeavor watch the criminal trap his wrists in his own hands and wrap his legs around the flaming arms as well. Extending his entire body with the arms trapped in his leg lock forced Endeavor to let go of the jacket. Before he could react, his right arm was caught over Bloodsoaked's shoulder as he reversed their positions and threw the fire manipulator down back at the city.

An impact that created a decent enough shockwave throughout the street Endeavor landed in. A crater with the hero embedded into the asphalt cracked the ground enough to destroy even the sidewalks on both sides of the road. Bloodsoaked landed on a building several blocks away, where he looked back to where he threw Endeavor into the ground and started to leap over the rooftops to engage the country's current number one hero.

Being thrown hard enough to form his own crater in solid asphalt left the fire manipulating hero with a minor concussion that made his ears ring painfully. Standing back up from under the chunks of destroyed road, he did what he could to clear his head of the effects of his injury in order to return to the fight. This wasn't as necessary as he thought as now the fight had seemed to come back to look for Endeavor instead.

A chilling sensation from above let the hero know that Bloodsoaked had likely returned to where the hero landed to continue their exchange. Looking towards the source of the unpleasant feeling did in fact confirm his suspicions. There was something twisted in the villain that Endeavor saw as a real evil in this world the longer Bloodsoaked kept staring at him from on top of the building next to him.

Still, he felt something bother him about what he felt when the killer kept staring at him. It was clearly anger and hatred being directed at Endeavor, but something that made him uncomfortable about the feeling was how familiar it felt. His memory failed him with the gravity of the situation and head injury making it harder to recall where he felt this sort of hatred in the past.

From on top of the roof, Bloodsoaked leapt off the six story building and landed down the road from where Endeavor was stumbling back to his feet. They looked back towards one another in an intense face off before they would try and kill each other.

Bloodsoaked had his weapons unholstered and clicked off of their safeties. Endeavor focused the heat in his body for a ranged attack at the armed killer. A deafening silence took over reality between the two as they focused on their target. Neither of them needed the tension to be broken since they knew exactly when to unleash themselves upon their enemy.

"Hell Spider!"

Right as Endeavor launched his thin tendrils of superheated flames, Bloodsoaked unloaded his weapons upon the hero as well. There was an explosion from where they began their fight that Shoto and the others saw in the distance. They needed to help the man fight back Bloodsoaked; otherwise, his death could be inevitable.

Several Minutes Later

"Dad?! Where are you?! Dad!"

Arriving at the source of the explosions and destruction where Endeavor had been last reported, Izuku scanned the absolutely eviscerated city street left behind in the wake of the fight between Bloodsoaked and Endeavor. Smoldering trails with crushed rubble replacing once intact buildings and streets was visible both ways up and down the street they arrived at. Nothing but the remains of pure chaos could be seen as far as the eye could see.

Shoto needed Bakugou to shake him loose from the panic that threatened to set in at the sight of his father's fight with no idea where his father actually was. The group called in the incident, though the command center informed them that backup was still on its way with about eight minutes until it arrived.

That wasn't good enough for the trio without the confirmation of Endeavor's condition.

They started the search for Endeavor from the direction of the last explosion before everything went silent. Scanning the side roads and street for any clues where Shoto's father was currently was their only course of action to help the man who took on the infamous Bloodsoaked by himself. Only the hope they could reach them before Bloodsoaked did something truly irreversible kept them racing against the clock.

Elsewhere

Trying to remain hidden down an alleyway; Endeavor was nursing multiple bullet wounds that his costume thankfully prevented becoming fatal, though being shot still left the bullets in his torso and right arm. He leaked blood at a concerning rate as he remained hidden from the one who currently seemed to be hunting him through the city streets. Both his heart and breathing were heavy from the fight that Endeavor lost control of just a little while ago. He knew that Bloodsoaked was a deadly combatant, but what he experienced wildly exceeded all expectations he had of the murderer.

The first attack he launched against Bloodsoaked missed as the killer dodged the threads of superheated flames while hitting Endeavor with three shots to start their fight. Two in the side of his waist and one shot to his right shoulder. It thankfully missed his joint and left the limb still usable.

From there, he threw all he could to close the distance between them so that he could land a solid enough blow against Bloodsoaked. Utilizing his Vanishing moveset began to produce too much heat in his body in a short duration of time. The one who remained in control of their spacing along with being the more agile of the two of them remained to be the only one who hadn't seemed affected while punishing Endeavor repeatedly.

Not even increasing the overall heat of the space till his weapons became red hot made the infamous killer relent in his assault. He just kept fighting without a care in the world aside from his desire to torment the fire wielding hero.

Now he was hiding in an alley with bullet wounds bleeding him dry. After checking his surroundings, Endeavor pulled his glove off to stick into his mouth to bite down on as he did something extreme to stop the bleeding.

Everything in his first aid kit wouldn't be able to stop the bleeding sufficiently enough to return to the fight. To prevent biting his tongue off, Endeavor clenched the glove in his teeth as he used the tip of his index finger as a blowtorch of sorts to cauterize his bullet wounds shut. The first one to get sealed up had the hero choking back a scream as the bleeding ceased after he sealed it shut with his impromptu first aid. After the successful sealing of his first wound, he got to work sealing all the other ones as quickly as possible. That psychopathic killer was still out there trying to hunt him down. Getting back into the fight was all that mattered for Endeavor.

Eventually, the man had finished sealing his wounds closed. His glove simply fell out of his mouth as he tried to catch his breath after enduring the agony of burning his wounds closed.

It was then he felt the familiar chill of the one who had been hunting him emanating from behind him. Endeavor could tell that Bloodsoaked had located him in the alley. He pushed himself off the wall to round the corner and face his destiny head on. When he turned the corner ready for a fight, nobody was there. What he neglected to realize was that his enemy didn't need to be in eyesight to be there. Bloodsoaked had simply jumped up and was about to rain down another spray of gunfire when something prevented him from doing just that.

"Dakota Smash!"

A focused kick that directed an immense amount of force directly into whatever he aimed at buried itself into Bloodsoaked's back, sending him crashing through the wall at the end of the alley. Katsuki then got to work unloading a spray of AP shots into the hole left behind by the killer's body while Shoto got his father out of the immediate area on a column of ice.

"Dad! Are you okay?! How badly are you hurt?"

The blood loss had the hero slightly delirious as he couldn't help the small amount of joy he felt when he heard Shoto call him dad. Shoto checked over the injuries his father endured and concluded that the man still had a good chance to live past today. Still, that was if he could get Endeavor out of the immediate area and get him on a medivac.

"This is Todoroki Shoto, I need a medivac at my location. Transmitting coordinates now."

"This is Endeavor. Cancel that medivac."

Pushing himself back onto his feet while contacting central command, Shoto watched his injured father regain his faculties so that he could reenter the fight. His heart felt heavy watching his father continue the fight in the half dead state he was currently in.

"No, you're injured. We need to get you-"

Placing his hand on Shoto's shoulder while kneeling to face his son, a tired yet uncharacteristically kind smile took over Endeavor's face as he finally opened up to his son at that moment.

"You're my son, Shoto. The least I can do for my son is be there for him in his time of need."

Hearing the words he wanted to hear from his father for his entire life strangely calmed Shoto. His once heavy heart felt a great weight leave as Endeavor offered to be there for Shoto for his well being over his own. Their tender moment had been interrupted when the spot where Bloodsoaked landed erupted in a cloud of cement dust before the killer himself landed back out onto the wide open streets. Both father and son knew that the fight was far from over as Bloodsoaked stood up from his crouched position to continue the battle.

Bakugou and Izuku both confronted their opponent as Shoto and Endeavor joined them on the lower level. They faced the killer as one while Bloodsoaked stood there in front of them with an unreadable aura surrounding him.

"What now, smart ass?"

"Just gimme a sec, Ka-chan, I'm thinking."

Things were now looking a bit dire. Having to contend with this embodiment of death with just three junior heroes and one injured pro hero felt a little unfair for them. The individual just stared at those who still wanted to bring him to justice as they tried to cobble together a viable plan on the spot. He felt no need to rush the heroes in front of him for how little of a chance they had against him.

"Why don't you include us, kiddies?"

A familiar voice from behind suddenly led into the backup the young heroes needed in their fight against Bloodsoaked. Heroes such as Mt. Lady, Kamui Wood, Fatgum, Shooter, Washin, and others were all arriving to provide backup to their allies. Hope seemed to return in this final confrontation as the lineup kept growing with all the heroes finally making their well timed return to the battlefield. Even a few of his UA friends were there to provide backup to the once seemingly hopeless final battle.

Kyoka, Momo, Kaminari, Kirishima, Tsuyu, and Ochaco were even part of the backup who arrived to help with the current offensive assault. They shared a knowing smile with one another before returning their attention to the current threat ahead of them.

Now the heroes were once again a sizable force that could fight back against the threat. What differed now was who now stood in front of Bloodsoaked in this all important conflict. Against this symbol of cruelty and evil were the heroes who were willing to weather the darkness to fend off evil at its worst. These brave souls all stood as one in the face of their opposition.

"No matter what it is you have against us, Bloodsoaked; We won't collapse so easily!"

Izuku spoke out against the murderous criminal the heroes of modern society were intent on taking down. His words were heard by all who now faced the greatest evil that existed in the world.

"We fight with the hope that will bring us out of this darkness you dragged us all into. All of us will fight with everything we have left to offer to stop you."

His words resonated with the heroes who were ready to fight the evil that was Bloodsoaked. His presence was an unwelcome one for the world they all fought to eradicate from their society. A unified effort to make this world a better one.

Giving his speech to the villain, a strange turn of events started to turn their confidence into an uncomfortable uneasiness as the change in atmosphere emanated from Bloodsoaked himself.

"... Hope?"

An uncomfortable sense of dread overcame the crowd of high profile heroes about to take on the country's most dangerous criminal. Their numbers felt less and less relevant to the fight ahead the longer Bloodsoaked just stood in front of them. All he was doing was standing in front of them, yet the gravity all around them started to weigh heavier on them all. They were once again reminded that this man was a predator amongst even those who hunted amongst monsters. This individual consumed all who crossed his path.

"What use is hope to someone like me? Hope would mean that there are things out there I fear. How could someone like me fear anything in this world of infants and herbivores?"

The atmosphere started to twist. People were starting to sweat involuntarily as the one in front of them stared down the numerous heroes who stood in his way. There was an impatient edge to his voice as the audio changer in his mask broadcast his words to the crowds of naive children who understood nothing about their own world.

Inner Mask Club

"Do you know why this organization can exist? How it's possible for us to operate at the capacity that we do?"

Sato asked a clueless Touya as he reviewed the documentation for the upcoming merger between a foreign mining company and a domestic manufacturer of building materials for high rises. Touya simply looked at his current mentor with a genuine look of curiosity from where he too was working on a financial report submitted to Akihara for review. Without looking up from his work, the senior businessman shared something he wanted the young former villain to keep in mind for the rest of his time here.

"Our potential as an organization can only be as great and in control over what is made available to us. That potential can only be realized with someone who can make those opportunities available for us. Now, think about it…"

Stopping for a moment to look directly into Touya's eyes, he disclosed an important bit of information he learned many years ago as this organization's leader.

"This organization controls this country while spreading its influences to the rest of the world. We own politicians, corporations, and criminal enterprises. Who do you think has paved the way for all this to become ours to do with as we need for our benefit?"

It dawned on Touya that Sato was referring to the one who seemingly had the only seat of power higher than Akihara's. Even though he already knew this, something in the way his mentor pointedly reminded his student felt as though he was trying to instill a valuable lesson into Touya.

"Remember who it is that carved the path we now venture towards our future. Nothing has stopped him, and nothing ever will. Nakamura is someone who does not need anybody else's help to achieve his goals. He will kill, beat, bribe, and blackmail all opposition in his way. He is to be feared; not because he's killed or all the things he's done in the past, but for how he will alway get what he wants. At the end of the day, not even the armies of this earth nor the willpower of its greatest champions can do a thing against his will."

Hearing this powerful man who sat at the top of the modern world talk about Nakamura like some sort of mortal god put some perspective in his life over how much control this organization held. It also reshaped how he saw the man who he used to see as the one person he could never hate into someone who he couldn't recognize anymore. Even interacting with All for One didn't make Touya respect the immense power he felt from the League of Villain's former leader.

"So remember this, my future inheritor. Our true founder is someone who will do as he pleases because he knows nothing can get in his way. Fear his authority and respect his decisions. I once made the mistake of neglecting his ways and almost lost something too important for me to lose because of it. He won't hesitate to remind those who make mistakes he has to suffer for…"

With that, they returned to work. Touya now had a better understanding of the function Haru had in the world. Every single moment he spent training to become Sato's inheritor made him realize more and more that this work would be the best way for him to change the world for the better. It also made him realize how much work and sacrifice still needed to occur for the peace this organization fought to maintain needed to happen still.

His determination regained a hold on his physically drained body as he dutifully got back to work.
