As Maggie stepped into her room, her thoughts were consumed by how she and Susie Q had possibly become one. "Why do I remember the night of her death so clearly? "She and I are two different people. "I promised myself I would forget about it, but now I can't; it's stuck in my head, ugh, this is so frustrating." "I suppose watching TV in my room could be a way to pass the time."

2 Hours Later

While Maggie was watching TV in her room, her mother called her down for dinner. "Maggie, it's time for dinner!" her mother called out. "Coming!" exclaimed Maggie as she hopped out of her bed and hurried down the stairs. Descending the stairs, Maggie immediately started to share stories about her first day at school with her parents. "It was great, I met a cute boy named Zach, and I really like him." "That's wonderful, Honey, but does he have the same feelings for you?" her father replied. "I was considering asking him out in two days, but I'm apprehensive about his perception of me. I fear he might find me weird and outright reject me." "Well, you never know until you try, sweetie," her mother replied." "Well, I guess you're right, Mom. I'll go through with it," she conceded. "Atta girl," her father said as they continued their conversation at the table while eating.

Zach's POV

"I've really taken a liking to Maggie, even though we only met today." "To find out if she feels the same, I plan to ask her out in 2 days and see how she responds." "Well, it's getting late; I really should head to bed," Zach mumbled. After slipping into his nightwear, he climbed into bed and swiftly fell asleep. As he was sleeping, he began to have a dream about Susie Q.

Zach's Dream

"Woah, where am I?" asked a confused Zach. "You're in my house," said a girl. The moment Zach heard the voice, he immediately recognized who it was. "Susie?" "Yes, it's me," she replied. "What are you doing in my dream?" "I've come to tell you something important about Maggie." "What is it?" "The individual you're interested in dating is me." "Hold on, are you saying that the person I'm attracted to, is you?" "Yes, I have returned from heaven, reincarnated as Maggie to be with you." "No wonder she was saying the same things as you when I met her." "Exactly." "So let me get this straight, you're telling me that you are still on Earth as Maggie?" "Yes, Zach." "Well, how can you and Maggie exist at the same time?" "It's because my soul resides within Maggie, and the only reason I can enter your dreams is that my soul can move from Maggie to your dreams." "Oh, I keep forgetting that you were a ghost. "Is Maggie aware that she, is you?" "No, but she will discover it over time." "Well, alright, I have to go back to Maggie now. Good night, Zach." "Good night, Susie," Zach replied as he drifted back to sleep for the night.

2 Days Later

Zach heads to the school in search of Maggie. To his surprise, she is already there waiting for him. "Hi, Zach." "Hey, Susie—oh, I mean Maggie." "Huh, are you okay?" "Yeah, I'm fine. I just keep getting you and Susie mixed up, that's all." "Oh well, there's something I wanted to ask you," I said. "What is it?" Zach asked. "How would you feel if I asked out on a date this Saturday night?" "Wait, you want you go out with me?" "Yes, and now it's up to you to decide if you want to date me or not. "Maggie of course I'll go out with you. In fact, I was just about to ask you the same thing." "Really?" "Yes, also here's my number call me sometime." "Well, alright then, I guess I'll see you Saturday night," said Zach. "Yes, you will," replied Maggie, blowing a kiss as she walked away. "Man, she is smoking hot, I can't wait for this date next Saturday," said Zack as he began to walk to class.

Later that Day

It's 8:30 PM, and Maggie, feeling tired, decides to lie down in her bed and drift off to sleep, dreaming about the wonderful day she plans to spend with Zack tomorrow. However, an unforeseen obstacle to her dream is on the horizon.

Maggie's Dream #2

Maggie awakens to find herself on a bridge. "Where am I?" she asks. "You're at the place where you died, Maggie," comes the reply. "Who said that?" "I did," said the girl, emerging from the smoke. Maggie stared at the girl in disbelief. "Why do you look like me?" she demanded. Then, with a gasp, she realized, "You're Susie Q!" "But how, are you in my dream?" "It's because me and you are the same person, Maggie." "I was reincarnated as you when I returned to Earth from heaven, and now, I have embedded a soul within you, while secretly preserving your identity as Susie Q along with my memories." This is why you recall the other dream so vividly; it's because my memories are intertwined with yours. "Oh, that makes sense now." "Yeah, but from here on out you are known as Maggie now. "Well, I will let you rest, goodbye Maggie said Susie as she disappeared again.

The Next Day

Maggie calls Zach to confirm the time of their date later that day. "Hey Zach, what time are we going on our date?" she asks. "I can pick you up at 7," Zach responds. "Sure, sounds great! See you then, Zach. Bye," Maggie replies. "Bye," Zach says, and they both hang up. As Maggie ends the call, anxiety starts to set in. "Damn it, if I reveal to Zach that I'm Susie Q, he'll think I've lost my mind." "But if I want to date him, I have to tell him the truth, and that's exactly what I'll do when I see him in a few hours." As Maggie said that she began getting ready for the date with Zach.

A Few Hours Later

Zach pulls up to Maggie's house in his 1993 Mazda RX7 FD, ready to take her out on a date. Upon spotting him outside her home, Maggie informs her parents of her departure and quickly dashes out of the house with her bag in her hand. "Hi Babe," said Maggie as she hopped into the car. "Babe?" Zach asked, puzzled. "Yeah, I thought that since we're dating, I could call you that," Maggie replied. "Oh, well I don't have a problem with it." "Alright, are we going?" "Oh, can we go to the movies? There's this new film I want to see called Toy Story." "Hey, I've been wanting to see that movie too!" "So, are we heading to the movies?" "You bet," said Zach as he pulled out of the driveway, heading to the movie theater.

Serval Minutes Later

Zach and Maggie arrived at the movie theater. "I can't wait to watch this movie; it's going to be great!" exclaimed Maggie with a squeal." You bet," said Zach as they entered the theater, purchased their popcorn, and proceeded to watch the movie.

After The Movie

"That movie was incredible!" Maggie exclaimed. "I especially enjoyed the part where Woody and Buzz formed a friendship," Zach replied. "So, are you all set to spend at my place?" Zach asked. "Absolutely," Maggie responded. Also, don't worry; my parents already know I'll be spending the night at your house. "That's good." As Zach said that the two hopped in the car and rode back to the house.

Back At the House

Zach and Maggie returned to Zach's home, where Maggie greeted Zach's mother and Terri before they both went upstairs. While upstairs, Maggie made the decision to reveal her true identity to Zach. "Zach, there's something I need to tell you, "She said. "What is it?" he asked. "I'm not the girl you think I am," she confessed. "What do you mean?" Zach asked, confusion evident in his voice. "I mean that I am actually Susie Q and not Maggie." "Oh, I was already aware of that." "Really? How did you know?" "You see, a few nights ago, Susie appeared in my dream and revealed to me that she is your reincarnation." "Oh, well ok, at least you didn't think I was crazy.

"Nah, I 100 percent. believe you." "Thanks, Zach." "You're welcome. Anyway, we should get some sleep since I have to take you back to your house in the morning." "Okay, well, goodnight, Zach." "Goodnight, my love," Zach replied, kissing her forehead before turning off the lamp in his room. As he switched off the lamp, he and Maggie promptly drifted off to sleep.
