After the intense sparring with Naruto, Ash was finally catching his breath. He sat on the couch, absentmindedly petting Pikachu, who nuzzled closer to him. Gengar was floating lazily, as usual, and Lucario sat with his eyes closed, quietly meditating after the recent battles.
"I wonder if this is it for today," Ash muttered to himself, exhaustion finally setting in. But his brief moment of peace was soon interrupted.
"Hey there, kid."
Ash blinked and looked around. The voice was feminine but oddly calm, and… it was coming from the floor? He glanced down to find a black cat sitting in front of him, its golden eyes gleaming with amusement.
"Uh… what? A talking cat?" Ash blinked a few more times, thinking he was seeing things. "Okay, this is new... but I guess I shouldn't be surprised. I've seen weirder things."
Pikachu tilted his head. "Pika?"
The black cat chuckled, its voice laced with amusement. "Oh, so you're used to talking Pokémon, huh? Like that Meowth from Team Rocket?"
Ash rubbed the back of his head. "Yeah, kinda... but why are you—?"
The cat interrupted, "Well, I'm not just a regular talking cat. I think I should show you something a bit more... interesting."
Before Ash could react, the cat in front of him transformed in a flash of light, its form shifting from the small feline to a tall, strikingly beautiful woman with bronze skin, long purple hair, and—most shockingly for Ash—absolutely no clothes.
"W-Wh—WHAT?!" Ash's face turned beet red in an instant as he scrambled backward, trying not to look, but failing miserably.
The woman laughed, clearly enjoying his reaction. "Surprised, are we? I'm Yoruichi Shihōin. You didn't expect a cat to turn into this, huh?"
Ash, still in shock and unable to process what just happened, stammered, "B-B-But why—why are you—?"
Before he could even finish, his vision began to blur, and with a groan, he passed out, collapsing onto the floor with a thud.
Yoruichi stood over him, shaking her head in amusement. "Ah, he's such a cute, silly boy." She bent down and tapped his cheek playfully. "And he's the Monarch of this world? Guess I took him off guard a little too much."
Pikachu stared at Yoruichi with wide eyes, unsure whether to attack or just continue being confused. "Pika-pi?"
Lucario, sensing Ash's distress, opened his eyes and raised an eyebrow at the scene, though he remained composed. Gengar, on the other hand, giggled in the background, finding the situation incredibly entertaining.
Yoruichi sighed dramatically. "You know, I could just claim the title of Monarch for myself right now since he's out cold... But nah, I didn't really earn it. Let's just give it back to him when he wakes up."
As Yoruichi was about to step away, a new presence made itself known. In a blur, a petite but stern woman with short black hair appeared, her eyes blazing with jealousy. It was none other than Soi Fon, Yoruichi's fiercely loyal subordinate.
"Y-Yoruichi-sama!" Soi Fon's voice wavered slightly as she glared daggers at Ash's unconscious form. "Why are you here... praising some random boy?! Why aren't you praising me instead?!"
Yoruichi groaned, already knowing where this was headed. "Soi Fon, calm down. I'm not 'showering' him with praise. I just had a little fun, that's all."
Soi Fon's eyes narrowed as she crossed her arms, still glaring at Ash. "Hmph! He doesn't deserve your attention!"
Yoruichi smiled teasingly. "Oh, come on, don't be like that. He's actually pretty strong, you know. This boy became Monarch at a young age. You should give him some credit."
Soi Fon's face reddened with a mixture of frustration and embarrassment. "That doesn't matter! I'm the one who should be receiving your admiration, not this... this kid!"
Yoruichi patted Soi Fon on the head, much to the latter's dismay. "You're still adorable when you're jealous, Soi Fon."
As the two exchanged their banter, Ash groaned softly, starting to wake up. His face was still flushed, and he quickly covered his eyes as he sat up, realizing Yoruichi was still standing there. "Please tell me this is all just a weird dream..."
Pikachu tugged on Ash's sleeve, and Lucario offered a small, knowing nod, confirming that this was indeed not a dream.
Yoruichi smirked at Ash's reaction. "Oh, don't worry, Ash. I'll put some clothes on for your sake. Wouldn't want you fainting on me again." With that, she swiftly donned her signature black ninja outfit, much to Ash's relief.
Ash, still embarrassed, mumbled, "I-I wasn't expecting that..."
Yoruichi winked. "That's what made it fun. But hey, you handled it better than I thought."
Soi Fon, still standing stiffly beside Yoruichi, narrowed her eyes at Ash, muttering under her breath, "This better not happen again…"
Ash nervously laughed, still trying to recover from the situation. "Uh, yeah… I'll keep that in mind…"
As Yoruichi and Soi Fon prepared to leave, Yoruichi glanced back at Ash with a mischievous smile. "Take care, Monarch. And remember, if you ever want some sparring practice, I'll be happy to show you what real speed looks like."
Soi Fon huffed and followed after Yoruichi, clearly not pleased with the attention her mentor had given Ash.
As they vanished from sight, Ash collapsed back onto the couch, his heart still racing. "That… was way too much for me…"
Pikachu climbed onto Ash's chest, looking just as exhausted. "Pika..."
