When Jade woke up the next time, it was the morning. She still had some painkillers in her system and was a bit disoriented, but she made her way to the kitchen. Drake was the only one in the kitchen and greeted her.

"How are you feeling?" He asked. He pulled a chair for her since she was recovering and shouldn't aggravate her wound.

'Sleepy, hungry. Where are the others?' She asked as she sat down. The painkillers they gave her must have been strong since she didn't feel much pain.

"Jason and dick are the only ones in the manor, and they are sleeping. They returned late from patrol." He said as he went into the kitchen to grab her overnight oats for her. he also turned on the electric kettle for her tea.

'Reports of mission?' She signed. As she accepted the oats.

"Everything went according to the plan. After we got over the initial scare of you missing, we suited up and called everyone. Babs had the eye on the location while we were on our way."

"Jason and Steph attacked from the main entrance while Dick and I made it from the top. I must admit your plan to act like Cass was out of Gotham paid off since she managed to sneak in and get to the documents."

"We bought her enough time to take photos of everything and also plant a virus Babs made in their system. We should have access to all their communications, and they shouldn't find it if we don't make changes to their system." With that, he put a cup of tea and honey in front of her, and they ate their breakfasts and discussed the documents.

The documents were of the water distribution system. Not just any water distribution system but Gotham's. It was a detailed map of water sources and how the pipes went through the city.

It was such a detailed map, but upon further inspection, they noticed each was from a different year. The newest one was for around 5 years ago. If Ra's had any plans of tampering with water, it had to be for an area in the newest map or one that remained the same over the years. Luckily, with the amount of property destruction Gotham's villains cause on a daily basis, there shouldn't be too many places.

Currently, a program is running that checks all the common areas of the maps and if they have any significance to them. It would take a while, so they focused on the next set of documents.

While Ra's was kidnapping the scientists, as the numbers grew, a pattern became visible. The scientists worked in the domains related to chemistry and the medical field.

All of them focused on water, more specifically, how chemicals in water can affect humans. The picture that was being painted was about how chemicals can be added to water in a discrete way that will create superhumans over time.

A lot of these researches were protected for military use, but there was enough for people with their skills to get this picture. Was Ra's looking into creating superhumans? Or was he using it as a poison? To kill his enemies over time without a trace.

The research could be used in both ways, but they still didn't have all the pieces. As soon as they had the locations, they would head out to gather samples and plant monitoring devices to have eyes on the area.

The next few days were spent planting the devices and waiting for the results of the samples, and so far, they came out empty-handed. They were glad that the people were safe, but it meant another dead end.

Jade contacted her mother, but she didn't have any new information.

At least they finally knew the base Ra's was hiding in so they could go for a direct approach. They also had another idea: to take Ra's out of hiding, and Cain and Spoiler joined the Titans in executing that plan in parallel.

They were all getting ready for the upcoming mission. Arrangements had to be made for city protection. There was no news from the Justice League mission. Luckily, there were still enough superheroes on Earth to cover them for the time needed.

It would have been a lot easier if Father was with them, but they had to make due. They weren't really worried about fighting the assassins. The ones they were going to face were not loyal to his mother but to Grandfather so using a bit of extra force was ok.

What they were worried about was getting the information and how cooperative Ra's was going to be. The truth of the matter was if he didn't want to give them information he wouldn't and they couldn't afford to let him get away with his plans.
