This will be an interesting fic for me to do, I wanted to have a handle in a series with also has a ton of connection with the supernatural to be with High School DxD. I don't want to Fairy Tail because its too easy and yes Natsu is way better than Issei I still don't know what kind of things I would have him do, at the moment I have no idea for this kind of format.
Shaman King on the other side I want to try out. The series is like a gem from ancient times that shines a few times in recent years. I mean the author is a close friend of Echiiro Oda and started a bit later once One Piece started.
I mean Shaman has more of a spiritual style that was kind put in DxD, but that series left to the side to focus on boosts or whatever shit Issei, or the harem would get that week. I am actually getting back to Shaman King thanks to Flowers being out recently and its pretty good, I get the author didn't wanted to put Yoh and Anna back after a whole series but come on, I like Ryu but we could have at least one more person, I mean Hororo always get the last straw so why not him
This wont be a harem series, it will be more adventure and mystical. No harem for either guy. Yoh gets Anna and Issei gets Rias. What happens to the girls? You will all see. Lets start.
Years ago, in Japan
At the Asakura family ground
An old man named Yohmei Asakura was sweating as he sees the clock at his family house. With him was his wife, Asakura Kio who was doing some preparation for tonight ceremony, the birth of their grandson.
"How long until its born?'' Asked Yohmei.
"I see around an hour, patient my husband.'' Said Kio all serious.
"Understood.'' Said Yohmei cleaning the sweat of his forehead.
As he did that a weird light appeared at the floor at their house, in normal circumstances anyone would get scared, but this is the Asakura family, they knew who it was coming.
"He arrived.'' Said Yohmei.
Two figures soon arrived from the circle. A tall man in armor with long red hair and a woman using a dress fit for a maid. They were the strongest devil couple of the Underworld, Szierche Gremory and Grayfia Lucifer.
"Lord Lucifer, Lady Grayfia. We are both grateful for your presences.'' Said Yohmei bowing.
"At ease Yohmei-san, no need for formalities.'' Said Szierche.
"Is that how you treat old friends?'' Asked Grayfia.
"This is how I treat the current lord of the Underworld with respect.'' Said Yohmei.
Szierche just smiled at that but soon his face turned serious as he looks at Kio.
"How is Mikihasi?'' Asked Szierche
"Doing the preparation.'' Said Kio
"And Keiko?'' Asked Grayfia.
"She about to start giving labor.'' Said Yohmei.
"Are you sure that it will be tonight?'' Asked Grayfia.
"The reading are not lying Lady Grayfia. We have done it dozens of times, including today. There is no denying it." Said Kio all serious.
The two devils heard those words with horryfing expression, what was happening tonight might shape the future of not just the regular world but the Supernatural world as a whole. Soon Yohmei felt the dark presence getting stronger.
"He is about to come!'' Said him preparing some talsimas.
"So we will have to kill him, after all. It's the only option left.'' Said Kio all cold.
"Good thing that I am here. You will all need all the help you need.'' Said Szierche
"We are here.'' Said Grayfia giving a nod with her husband.
"However, I have some terrifying thoughts that have plagued my head lately.'' Said Kio
"What is it Kio?'' Asked Yohmei.
"What if…she is having twins?'' Said the old woman.
The entire room went quiet for the moment, the idea really scared all of them.
"Impossible, the Asakura family has never given twins over their lifetime.'' Said Grayfia.
"There is always the first-time lady Grayfia, we might be the most cursed generation of the family if that's is the case. They will be identical twins, impossible to distinguish both of them, we wont be able to tell which is which.'' Said Kio
The idea really give the people on the room a cold down their spines, even Szierche the current Lucifer on the underworld feared what was about to be born, if he wanted to maintain peace of his race he need it to get rid of that monster aat any cost.
"It doesn't matter, if that's the case we will have to kill both of them.'' Said Yohmei.
"I agree, I will do it faster so no family member should have done it.'' Said Szierche offering.
"Szierche…are you sure about this?'' Asked Grayfia now feeling a bit anxious. Her husband grabbed her hand and looked at her as the moonlight shined on her face.
"I'm sorry my love, there is no other way. If we let this child live, they will bring upon the destruction of all the realms of existence. Not even the forces of Hell, Heaven and the Supernatural world would be able to stop them. I am sorry, but this has to be done.'' Said Szierche.
The group nodded at that, they were going to the other room where the child was about to be born.
At the other room.
Asakura Keiko was giving birth at the household temple, alongside her husband, father, mother and her friends. She was doing her best to bring her child into the world, her child who might be the one who would destroy everything.
"You can do it Keiko.'' Said her husband, Asakura Mikihisa who was holding her hand.
"It hurts!'' Scream her.
"Push it! I can see the head.'' Said Grayfia.
The woman did what she could and her child was born. Once the baby umbilical cord was cut and he was wrapped in a blanket, everyone got into battle position.
"Its here." Scream Mikihisa
"Do it now Yohmei." Scream Szierche.
"As long as the Asakura family is around we will protect the world from your ambition. Shikigami!'' Scream Yohmei calling upon his spirit allies.
The old man was ready to strike down this newborn, his own grandson. Even though he knew this child would bring horror and chaos he was still feeling sadness over this.
"Forgive me my grandson.'' Thought him.
As he was preparing to kill the baby something really horrifying happen, the newborn eyes open and soon a voice was heard across the room.
"So small."
That voice was chilling and gave presence to someone cruel.
The baby soon called upon his spirit ally, a small creature who appeared to be more powerful than it looked. In just a second it took care of Yohmei and all of his shikigamis.
"AAAH!" Scream the old man being sent back in pain.
"Father!" Scream Mikihisa in horror upon seeing that.
"Grayfia protect Keiko and Kio.'' Said Szierche.
"Darling!" Scream Grayfia scared.
"Destruction!" Scream Szierche creating his household signature attack.
Various magic circles appeared in direction of the baby, however before the magic could be launched the spirit allied destroyed the circles, making sure that the power wanst activated.
Crash
"What!'' Scream Sczierche in horror, that creature was faster than a spell.
The movement shocked the entire group, one of the strongest Shaman in the world was brought down in a second and one of the most powerful attacks of the Supernatural world was destroyed in the blink of an eye. What in the world was this creature upon them?
"Father, lord Szierche stand back! Kararicho- Kararinsowaka!'' Scream Mikahashi summing his Shikigamis
"Mikahashi no!'' Scream Szierche in horror.
The two deities went to attack upon when they got closer the spirt vanished.
"he disappeared…'' Said Mikahashi scared and then the creature soon appeared in front of him and slashed his face.
Slash
"Mikashi!'' Scream Grayfia in horror.
The creature holds the baby like he was a monster wanting to kidnap the newborn, when in reality the baby was the one who summoned the creature and all of his action were his commandos.
"You really thought you capture me with something like that?'' Asked the baby.
"When did you.'' Said Mikashi still alive even after getting attack.
"It can't be, this is the great Onmyoji who disappeared a thousand years ago! Hao Asakaura!'' Said Keiko in horror.
The news only brought fear in the hearts of the others, that name was pretty much a taboo in the supernatural world.
"So its true, it's you and you have returned.'' Said Szierche.
"Impossible, he was said to have their existence erased.'' Said Grayfia in denial.
"You devil never changed, even when living among weaker people you are still as predictable as ever. Now Keiko, you will have my thanks for giving birth to me, I couldn't have done it without you.'' Said Hao overing over the group.
"What did you…'' Said the mother angry but she was stopped.
"Don't push it, you still have another child to give birth.'' Said Kio.
The demonic baby laughs as he heard about his sibling.
"My other half means nothing to me at the moment. However, when we will meet on the path to be the king that's when I will see if its worthy to be on the same level of existence as me.'' Said Hao all cryptic and directed.
"Your reign will not be accomplished Hao Asakura. I will make sure that the likes of you never reach the title of king.'' Said Szierceh all serious but that only amuses Hao.
"Your words do not frighten me fake lucifer. Once we meet again, I will fight you and I will take everything you have…including your precious family.'' Said Hao all serious.
In the midst of that talk Hao activated his best and in a blink of an eeys shoots a beam right at Szierche. Right at his shoulder.
Bam
"I couldn't sense it! How?'' Though Szierche in pure pain, that wasn't a mortal wound but still hurt a lot.
"Szierche!" Scream Grayfia
"Heal your husband, I will tend to Keiko.'' Said Kio
"We will meet again all of you and when that happens I won't be as docile as I am today. Also, to my other half…I hope to see you in the future.'' Said Hao as he disappeared from the family.
The entire group just look upon in terror as that monster was able to escape them, there is no use in pursing Asakura Hao at the moment as they all prepare for the birth of the other child.
A few minutes later
After the birth of the second one the group got some patching up to do. Mikashi got hurt pretty bad in his face so he will have bandages off over it, while Szierche has a minor wound but nothing serious.
"How are your wounds dear?'' Asked Grayfia finishing the healing.
"Good.'' Said Szierche.
"And you Mikashi?" Asked Grayfia.
"Its ok, I will live.'' Said him.
The group wonders what they are going to do next, Hao was free to wander the entire world. Who knows about the terror he might brings to the world.
"We cant escape destiny. This child is about to suffer challenges that no regular person would ever imagine to face, but we don't have a choice, he is our only hope to stop Hao.'' Said Yohmei.
The group understood that and firmly, if they wanted Hao to perish they need it to make sure this kid would grown up to become a really strong Shaman.
"Give to us.'' Said Szierche.
"What?" Asked Keiko
"We will protect him and make sure that he gets the best training in the supernatural world. No one would dare to attack the Gremory territory, not after learning that we made our alliance public knowledge.'' Said Szierche.
"That is not going to happen." Said Kio all serious.
Everyone turned to the old lady who had a serious expression even though she is blind.
"While that might tempting the child needs to learn to harvest soul power. Your offer might be good Lord Lucifer, but what he needs is to learn a technique that no devil can harvest.'' Said Kio.
"I see, I apologize for my sudden thought.'' Said him.
"However, you can visit the child and help during their training. We are not going to let such a powerful ally not help us mold him into their best shape.'' Said Kio.
"We will do as we can.'' Said Grayfia aggreging with that.
"We will help you as long as we are breathing.'' Said Szierche.
"And we are thankful for that.'' Said Yohmei with a bow of appreciation.
The plan was now settled, this kid would be the supernatural world's last hope against the upcoming horror that is Hao Asakaura.
"Keiko, do you know what you will call your child?'' Asked Yohmei.
"Yes…Yoh. His name shall be Yoh Asakura.'' Said Keiko smiling at her newborn son.
And so destiny was settled. Yoh Asakura would be the one to help save the supernatural world. If they wanted him to defeat Hao and bring peace to all of the realms they will make sure Yoh becomes powerful to receive one of the strongest tittle to be ever created…The Shaman King.
The wandering souls of the dead, the higher rank spirits that lurk in the forests of the land, and divine beings. There are those who communicate freely with them and command power in this world that ordinary humans cannot do it. They were called Shaman.
So, this is the start. I wanted a whole chapter dedicated to the opening of episode 1 with Hao birth and some establishments. I will go more in detail in future chapters about the Asakura and the Gremory family. Things will be very interesting in the future for that.
I don't know if I want one of the Shaman group to have a Sacred Gear, it's like the My Hero fics where they have already a powerful quirk and then a powerful Sacred Gear. I don't know at the moment so we will see about that.
