It was supposed to be a calm, uneventful day off for Ritsuka Fujimaru, but with the group currently surrounding them, such a thing seemed more like an unattainable dream. They found themselves seated at a large table in one of Chaldea's lounging areas, surrounded by BB, Meltryllis, Passionlip, and Kingprotea. BB, in particular, looked far too pleased with herself.

"Fufufu~! Senpai, isn't this nice? A perfect opportunity for some quality bonding time with your favorite Moon Cancer and her adorable Alter-Ego daughters!" BB's eyes gleamed with mischief as she clung to Ritsuka's arm, clearly enjoying the proximity.

Ritsuka chuckled nervously, sensing the tension around the room, especially from one individual in particular.

Meltryllis, sitting across from BB with her arms crossed and her usual icy demeanor on full display, was glaring daggers at her. "Cut the act, BB. We all know you've planned something ridiculous to make Master's life miserable today. There's no way you're just trying to be... sweet."

BB put on an exaggerated pout, placing a hand over her heart as if deeply wounded by the accusation. "Melt, darling, how could you accuse your dear, innocent mother of such vile intentions? I'm offended! I just wanted to have a simple family bonding moment with my precious daughters and my most lowly favorite Senpai~!" Her tone dripped with sarcasm as she said "lowly," but the saccharine smile on her face made it hard to tell whether she was joking or being serious.

Melt scoffed, eyes narrowing. "Stop trying to play innocent. We all know how your 'bonding moments' turn into elaborate schemes designed to torture Master. You never stop plotting."

BB gasped theatrically. "Melt, you wound me! I'd never—"

"You absolutely would," Passionlip said softly, her large hands fidgeting nervously in her lap. Despite her timid nature, even she couldn't deny that BB often had less-than-honest intentions. "I just don't want Master to get hurt…"

Kingprotea, who was sitting beside Passionlip and towering over the table due to her immense size, nodded in agreement. "I don't like it when Master is in danger. We're supposed to protect him, not... prank him, right?"

BB's eyes flashed, and she waved off their concerns dismissively. "Oh, you two are no fun at all. Can't a mother just want to spend time with her family without being accused of something nefarious?" She gave an exaggerated sigh. "I swear, I'm surrounded by killjoys."

Ritsuka, still caught in the middle, gave a sheepish grin. "Well... I'm sure BB means well this time, right?"

Melt raised an eyebrow, clearly unimpressed. "Do you really believe that?"

Ritsuka hesitated. "U-Um... I mean…"

Before Ritsuka could find an answer, BB suddenly leapt up from her seat, puffing out her cheeks like an offended child. "Look at you all! You don't trust me at all! I just wanted to have a nice day off with my Senpai and my darling daughters, but nooooo, everyone thinks I'm plotting something evil." She huffed, crossing her arms. "What do I have to do to prove I'm just here for some family fun, huh?"

"Try not being yourself," Melt muttered, earning a glare from BB.

Passionlip fidgeted with her fingers nervously. "I'm sorry, BB, but... um, you do tend to cause trouble. I think that's why we're all... worried."

Kingprotea, always gentle and soft-spoken despite her size, looked down at Ritsuka with concern in her massive eyes. "Master, if you're tired, we could always do something quieter. I don't want you to get hurt."

BB groaned loudly. "Ugh, this is the worst! You're all no fun!" She turned to Ritsuka, pouting. "Senpai, I just wanted to have a good time with you! Is that so wrong? Melt's always so cold, Lip's too soft, and Protea's... well, she's the sweetest, but seriously, I need someone to have a little mischief with! What's the point of having all this power if I can't mess with my favorite human every now and then?"

Ritsuka laughed awkwardly, trying to keep the peace. "I appreciate the... enthusiasm, BB, but maybe we could do something more relaxed? You know, something that doesn't involve me getting chased through Chaldea or trapped in a digital nightmare."

BB's pout grew, but she seemed to relent, sinking back into her chair dramatically. "Fine, fine. I guess I'll have to put my amazing plans on hold for another day. But you're all so boring. We could've had so much fun, Senpai!"

Melt, still eyeing BB with suspicion, sighed. "Why don't you just be honest for once, BB? You're only pretending to care about bonding so you can mess with Master. You don't fool me."

BB's eyes sparkled with mischief as she grinned slyly at Melt. "Oh, Melt, darling, you think you know me so well. But maybe—just maybe—I really do care about spending time with my dear Senpai. Ever think of that?"

Melt's expression didn't change. "Not for a second."

Before the two could escalate their verbal sparring any further, Passionlip timidly raised her hand. "Um, what if we all just... played a game or something? Something that we can all do together without any... trouble?"

Kingprotea's eyes lit up at the idea. "That sounds nice! I'd like to play a game with everyone."

BB sighed dramatically, but a small smile played at the corners of her lips. "Fine. A game it is. But it better be fun, or I'm dragging everyone into one of my Moon Cancerspace adventures next time. No exceptions."

Ritsuka laughed, relieved that the situation seemed to be calming down. "A game sounds great. Let's just take it easy today."

Melt, still suspicious, gave BB one last look before shrugging. "As long as BB behaves herself, I'm fine with it."

With the decision made, BB waved her hand, summoning a variety of board games onto the table with a snap of her fingers. "There! Happy now, everyone? I'll be on my best behavior, promise~."

Ritsuka, Passionlip, and Kingprotea all smiled, while Melt merely rolled her eyes. Despite the constant chaos that BB brought to their lives, there was an odd sense of family among them—one that, despite everything, Ritsuka wouldn't trade for anything.

As they all gathered around to start the game, BB shot Ritsuka a playful wink. "Next time, Senpai, we're doing things my way. You've been warned."
