Before we begin, I'd like to get a few things out of the way!

First off, since the Mane 7 and CMC (three of the main characters in this) are juniors and freshmen respectively (tho idk if that's true or no), I'll be aging them up for the sake of this story. So now they're in college and juniors respectively.

Second, I'm bringing back some of the characters from G3, like Toola Roola, Starsong, Kimono, and our favorite green/Christmas/sock-loving klutz Minty!

Third, there'll be something called the Neo Elements of Harmony!

With that said, here is our new Mane 7!

Minty: very clumsy, sock collector, likes mints, pink and green, and winter, dresses in a style called "Mintycore" - comfy and trendy; she embodies the Neo-Element of Laughter, represented by a green Christmas tree)

Scootaloo: the sporty "sister" of Rainbow Dash, music-lover, favorite items are her scooter and guitar, isn't very trustworthy sometimes, may argue with Apple Bloom on some occasions; despite her flaws, she embodies the Neo-Element of Loyalty, represented by an orange thunderbolt

Kimono: painfully shy, bookish, "street dumb and book smart" (like most of the grades on her report cards are As with the rare B and even rarer C), Japanese-American (good rep), good friends with Cheerilee, is usually very busy - she has an itinerary, usually filled with stuff like homework and studying, especially in the fall, can be quite snarky; she embodies the Neo-Element of Knowledge, represented by a fuchsia book

Toola Roola: soft-spoken, envies some of the more outgoing folk (extro/ambiverts), artsy, invented "Free-For-All Fridays" (where you can make whatever you want; she chose abstract - and it sells surprisingly well at the Art Club's school art shows), isn't all that great at standing up for herself, has crippling self-esteem later on but gains some of it back with the help of her friends (and bestie Coconut Cream - who believes that "the very best" doesn't exist and that even if you don't put much effort into something, it's still good no matter what); she embodies the Neo-Element of Creativity, represented by a pink paintbrush

Sweetie Belle: true to her name, a real sweetie. buuut to a fault. very naive (like for ex. if the dazzlings were back she'd encourage them to keep singing - i mean... i don't blame her but.) and is quite vain (not to an extent ofc). a lover of sweets and gets along great with her sister and pinkie pie; a bit mischievous as well. she embodies the Neo-Element of Generosity, represented by a white diamond

Starsong: transfer student from Crystal Prep (much like Twilight Sparkle), talented performer, very shy off-stage but not on-stage - she's very charismatic and uses star or space puns (ex. her audience being her "star-dience" and the like), gets along well with sweetie belle (thanks to music), who helps her come out of her comfort zone, and kimono (similar personalities). so far, only her family and closest friends have heard her sing. she embodies the Neo-Element of Music, represented by a purple double note

Apple Bloom: the younger sister of applejack, and the best friend of scootaloo and sweetie belle. she wants to prove that she too can be independent, just like her two older siblings. she likes being able to help other people, but can go overboard and even annoy them. she's quite good at martial arts and drawing, but claims toola roola is better than her. may argue with scootaloo on some occasions; she embodies the Neo-Element of Honesty, represented by a yellow apple
