Part 14 Finale: A new venture ahead

Freedom was laughing as he ran down the halls, helmet in one hand and his hat in the other. He stopped at Talon's bedroom door, knocking.
Freedom: TALS! YOU READY?
Talon's voice: One moment!

Talon was in front of the mirror, uniform back on as he fixed his new gloved humming. His skin was finally free from stitches after months of healing. He smiled, nodding as he opened the door walking out sighing.
Talon: Super Bowl Sunday, finally here...*smile grows* and stitches free too.
Talon walked to the calendar, looking at the date circled as well as the event.
SUPER BOWL XLIX! 4:30 P.M.!
Talon: Alright, head to Phoenix..and see Freefall.
Meanwhile, Troy's house...
Troy's nodded as he finished the last of his homework with a smile.
Troy: DONE! And just in time too!
Troy closed the book as he got his backpack on, running out of his room.

Troy: Alright, heading over to the Super Bowl for duty!
Troy's parents and sister smiled as Troy got his winter gear on quickly.
Mr. Kang: Be careful and keep your eyes open for anything.
Mrs. Kang: And keep an eye on your friends.
Troy: *nods* Will do, I'll tell them you all said hi!
Troy's sister: *smirks* Know you will.
Troy gave a wave and smile as he went out the door fast.
Later, University of Phoenix Stadium...
Freefall nodded as he wrote in the notebook,all preparations being done early.
Freefall: And got Sonar's conditions down, good to have this on stand-by when we get single to negative digit weather. Now then-
Freefall felt a shiver down his spine as he opened up the stats on his NFLComm.

Freefall jumped and turned, seeing Talon next to him with a small smile.
Freefall: -sighs- Startle me there Tals.
Talon: Sorry but..*looks at screen;worry* Freefall, you said I got the okay on not getting it again.
Freefall: I know I know just...mostly telling myself that now.
Talon nodded in understanding, sitting next to him now.
Talon: I don't blame you, I just got back to doing some work and training.
?: Not to mention from what I heard with the details me and the others got, you were heading the whole process so course your still worried.
Both jumped, now seeing Troy over them looking at the screen.
Troy: Just agreeing with you there.
Freefall: Are you two going to keep startling me all day today?
Both chuckled as Talon turned the stats page off.
Talon: Not meaning too, but got to keep your mind off somehow.
Freefall sighed as a small smile formed.
Freefall: True, *to Talon* You have recovered marvelously and there is no sign of it returning. I think we're in the clear.
Troy: Well it helps you have been looking over him, specially after what happened in Dallas-
Talon: Which again sorry about that.
Freefall: Again, you wanted to help and you defiantly did just that.
Troy: Besides, it got to show those three idiots that your still alive and kicking too. I wish I could see the looks on their faces though they must have been terrified!
That got them laughing now wishing they could of seen those faces as well.
Talon: Well maybe next Halloween I could dress as ghost and see how that fares if they attack. Probably think they still don't beleive I'm alive.
Freefall: True...last time they saw you didn't have the new threads going on. Will say been hearing fans say it's quite a good look for you with the new gloves. *gets up* In any case, we got a Super Bowl to go to. No idea if my team is gonna win but having a feeling it's gonna be a good scoring game.
Both of their smiles grew as the three walked out.

Hey there, it's me and I'm alive! I had a feeling they could do it but not only did they save me they found out what was going on too!
Talon cheered as Freedom and his team ran onto the field after the Seahawks, excited for the game.
It was a infection, a infection from a clot combination of my blood and aura starting from my heart and blocking my bloodstream. I had no idea what Sudden Death and Zatu were talking about at the time but, was a little kid back then. As for the solution needless to say, it was MESSY.
Troy smiled with his friends as he watched Talon cheer in the second Quarter as both teams started to brawl now.
Arthur, Matt, Freefall, Stampede, and even Troy work in different areas to find this out while everyone kept their thoughts on me, and I am forever grateful for them and everyone helping me.
The Rusherz laughed as Grizzly, Swoop, Bolt, Alto, Pack, and Blow-Torch covered the Guardians eyes when a commercial for an adult film came on screen during a time out.
It took some time too recovering, but like I said everyone was by my side the whole way. And as a bonus, my powers seem to have grown to. Turns out training and holding back increased it ALOT. So I'm an Elite 'Rise Up 'user.
The Guardians and Rusherz laughed as the feline Rusherz and Grizzly roared as the singer came out on her song 'ROAR'..on a mechanical lion non-less.
Even so, it's going to be surreal using it alot. I'm still going to be cautious as to not over work myself, least give Freefall the panic attack of the decade.
Liberty: *worried* FREEFALL FREEDOM CAREFUL!
All present looked worried as the brawl between the two teams commence in the final quarter.
Ash: Freedom's gonna flip on these guys.
Troy: Think we should worry for the Seahawks too, Freefall does not like stuff like this.
Talon sighed as he raised his hands, getting out of his seat and walking down.
But I'm not afraid anymore, I'm not afraid of seeing what i can do now. Cause I got a whole lot of folks cheering me on.
Talon jumped off the rails and onto the field, a smile on his face as he walked to where the brawl was.
And with them showing me how strong I am now without that fear...Think I'll have fun training and battling with this in mind.
RISE UP!
The team was raised up a bit before being SMACKED on the field, making Freedom and Freefall flinched. All looked up with dirt and some grass on their faces to see Talon GIVING THEM THE BIGGEST GRIN.
Talon: Now then, who told ya football involved fist-a-cups hmm? I don't recall there being any attacks here so why ya throwing them at eachother? Now you can choose whoever MVP ya want, but I can hear a certain former Bengals Player making quips about this managera more than your fist, that is a top contender in my books. So; how about we finish the game, let the steam of this criticism go on for a while with the analyst and not go fighting cause I don't want ta smack all ya on the ground like a yo-yo for the final seconds.
..HE SAID ALL THAT WITH A COCKY GRIN. Freedom was on the ground laughing as tears fell from his eyes, Freefall covering his mouth laughing as well.
Pete Carroll: *smirks* Heh, when did the Falcon get that fire in him?
Bill Belichick: *smirks* During IR I bet, I can hear Arthur laughing from here.

I got a lot of folks to make more memories with, might as well give them some good ones.
Arthur Blank was in tears laughing as what he saw, happy to have access to the HOK camera's recording the game cause it was not shown on TV.
Arthur Blank: *joy* THAT'S OUR RUSHER GO AT IT TALS!

Talon sighed as he sat on the bleachers, the area still surrounded by confetti as he wrote in his journal.
So, I'm going to live. I hope Mama, Papa, and every Falcon Rusher is cheering over our victory over this infection at last. Have no idea what next season will be like, but one thing I know it's going to be a healthy one for me.

Freefall tearful smiled from the sidelines as Talon wrote on, wiping his eyes as Pete walked over with Stampede.
Pete Carroll: Got your own Super Bowl win under your belt there. You saved a life and found a cure for an infection there bud.
Freefall: Had a lot of help coach, was a team effort.
Stampede: Was happy to help end that streak Frees.

Troy was in the stands watching both scenes, sighing in content as he looked at the sky with a smile.
Troy: Just the beginning for you all. No matter what comes next, no matter the challenge, gonna be with you all the way.

?: There you are!
Talon looked up, seeing Freedom walking over with the Lombardi Trophy in hand. He sat down sighing.
Freedom: Gotta thank you for helping stop the fray, media is exploding over this brawl.
Talon: Should die down in a couple of weeks. Either way, congrats on the win Freedom. That's number four for you guys.
Freedom: *smile softens* Thanks Tals...I-well..*brings him in a one arm hug* I'm glad your here to see it.
Talon smile warmed as he returned the gesture.
Talon: Thanks...for saving me so I am here, and here for more to come.
Both looked at the night sky from inside the stadium.
Living for both the exciting, and quiet, moments of being alive.
