Day 4: College AU
"No way you did that!" Geoff said, laughing along at what he was hearing from his roommate, Duncan. He straightened his posture to leer in closer to listen to what else Duncan had to say in anticipation before banging his head on the bottom of the bed above his. "Ow!" Geoff groaned, rubbing his head. "But you really did that to her?"
A smirk grew on Duncan's face as he grinned. "Yeah, just a harmless prank. No biggie." Duncan responded, still carving on the wall.
"Gwen's going to be so pissed at you, man." Geoff chuckled, grinning ear to ear with Duncan.
"She'll come over sooner or later." Duncan claimed, leaning back on his chair. A second later, him and Geoff heard the door pounding and the faint curses of Gwen. "Guess it was earlier than I thought." He said before opening the door and leaning against the the doorframe and smirking down at her. "And what brings you here, beautiful? Oh, I see you finally decided to use a little colour in your life."
The prank was that Duncan planted a little surprise in Gwen's locker which exploded pink and glitter all over her as soon as she opened the door. To make things worse, Duncan had stolen Gwen's keys for her dorm when he was by her locker. To sum it all up, Gwen's roommates, Bridgette and LeShawna were nowhere to be found. So now, Gwen is here, standing in front of Duncan with bright pink and glittery powder all over her top and face. She was the exact definition of a unicorn farting on her.
Gwen fumed at Duncan as she shoved past Duncan and headed inside the dorm. "Where are my keys, Duncan?" She sternly inquired.
Then, Geoff looked up and almost fell off the bed in shock. He knew this was exactly what was going to happen but he hadn't expected it to be this much. "Woah Gwen, you're really rocking the new look." Geoff said, repositioning himself and letting out a couple of snickers.
"Yeah, yeah, laugh it up, Geoff." Gwen rolled her eyes before darting them back to Duncan. "Now, where are they?"
"I dunno... Maybe you should ask Heather." Duncan claimed, his hands securely placed in his pockets. "She might have a clue where it is. Except that you have to walk in front of the whole school to get to get dorm."
"You should embrace it." Geoff remarked.
Gwen clenched her fists as Duncan and Geoff continued poking fun at her. She was holding back all her might to not kill them in that exact moment. It was difficult but as her boyfriend and Geoff continued making witty remarks, Gwen stormed off and started looking for one of Duncan's hoodies. She isn't going to humiliate herself with her glittery shirt.
As Gwen marched into the bathroom with one of Duncan's hoodie, she washed her face before she started scavenging around the bathroom in search for some soap to wash her face. Although there wasn't form of soap anywhere. But as she was in the midst of searching, something caught her eye. It was the glitter bombs Duncan had used. He had several cans left and Gwen came up with the perfect idea.
Finally, once Gwen finished changing into Duncan's hoodie, she held her own pink-dyed shirt in her hands as she threw it on Duncan's face. "You're doing laundry." She stated as she opened the door. Before she left, she faced the two. "And I think you two need to learn a little thing about shampooing your hair. It cleans it and doesn't make your hair look like hay. Bye."
The following day, Gwen arrived to class and waited eagerly for the two boys to step into the classroom. She waited and waited until the she saw the door handle move.
"You two can't just skip class because you accidentally dyed your hair pink." The teacher lectured as he had a hand placed on their shoulders before removing his hands. "This better not happen again boys." With that, he left.
"I w-Oh. Um... sit down in a seat. I like your new hair." The teacher stated, trying to hold back her laughter.
Geoff and Duncan made their way to their spots. They knew everyone was staring at them. It was pretty obvious why. Because they had pink hair!
Once Duncan found a spot next to Gwen, he grumbled as he saw Gwen snickering as she pulled his hood down. "C'mon Dunc, you've got to embrace it! You look wicked... Like a Descendants character." She teased, ruffling Duncan's pink hair.
"Just great." Duncan groaned, placing his hoodie over his head again.
I know. Unoriginal. I did glitter bombs but I had no idea what to do.
