Day 6: Hidden Moments

It had been the end of the day. The devastating elimination had occured as Courtney didn't take that well. Because Duncan wasn't eliminated. Meanwhile, Gwen seemed to be ecstatic that her boyfriend wasn't eliminated.

Boyfriend. That sounded weird. Sure everyone knew they were dating since they kissed but it seemed to have slightly concerned her. Just in the beginning of the season, she was in the just friends stage with Duncan and now they sealed the deal with their second kiss in the warehouse. It was everything Gwen hoped for and more but she still didn't understand if she was dating Duncan or not. She was questioning how it was going to be like dating Duncan if they actually were dating. It still felt complicated.

Gwen looked down at her hand. There she was holding a brownie in her hand. She was hoping to give it to Duncan but she felt a little nervous of seeing him. Especially after the kiss.

"That for me?" Duncan inquired, breaking Gwen out of her trance.

"Uh..." Gwen hesitated, slowly gazing up at Duncan. As soon as she met his eyes, she darted her eyes away and tried to cover her smile. "No!" She snapped.

Taken aback, Duncan raised an eyebrow, a small grin form in his face. "So... what were you doing here?" He quizzed, fully knowing why Gwen was here. It was easy to spot her as her teal and black hair made it easy to notice her. "Here for me?"

Crap, crap, crap. "No! I was just... curious on who was going to be e-eliminated," Gwen stammered, still holding the brownie in her possession. "I was rooting for you to get the boot."

"Aw really? 'Cause I was sure I heard you cheering when I didn't get the boot." Duncan claimed, slightly leaning in. "Must be my imaginary."

Gwen winced, her eyes narrowing as she extended her hand with the brownie and shoved it into Duncan's. "Just take it!"

Taking the brownie, Duncan looked back at Gwen and chuckled. "I thought it wasn't for me. What made you change your mind?" He questioned, taking a bite.

"It was for you, okay? It's just that I'm just... nervous seeing you, alright?" Gwen admitted, scratching her arm in nervousness. A habit she'd picked up during the earlier seasons. But just before Duncan could respond, Gwen wrapped her arms around Duncan and pulled him in for a hug. "I'm just glad you didn't get eliminated."

Taken aback from the hug, Duncan stiffened up, not knowing how to respond. He knew Gwen wasn't much for hugs or even public affection and he knew a camera was bound to catch their little display of affection. Especially after their know renowned scandal, he hadn't expected Gwen wanted to be as affectionate. Nevertheless, he seemed happier than ever. Steadily, Duncan relaxed and wrapped his arm around Gwen.

"Don't worry. I won't get eliminated early. Already hooked up an alliance with Al." Duncan reassured, slightly tightening his grip.

After embracing each other for a solid moment, Gwen was the one to pull away first as she bit her lip. She was going to ask the question. Everything had been going on so well so she hoped Duncan wouldn't laugh in her face. "So Duncan... what are we?" She wondered, pulling on the sleeve of her top.

That was it. He did exactly Gwen was hoping he wouldn't do. He was laughing at her. Not with her but at her. After Duncan stopped laughing, he paused to notice Gwen wasn't laughing along.

"Oh, you're serious? I thought that was obvious." Duncan stated, pulling Gwen by the waist. "I'm your boyfriend, right?"

"I was hoping so." Gwen mumbled, a small tint of pink on her face.

"Was that why you were all worked up for? I thought we sealed the deal back in the warehouse." Duncan chuckled, still holding Gwen close to him. Then, he pulled Gwen in for a soft kiss.
