Hi there, time to get back into this fun fanfic, I am happy to see how many people are liking this series. Yu Yu Hakusho should get more love from the general world; I know Hunter x Hunter is more popular but there are a ton of things from Yu Yu Hakusho that Togashi re used for his new series. Well lets see how Yusuke will handle his quest.

At Yusuke home

Yusuke was in his room, thinking of what he should do with his quest, he needs to make sure that Keiko and Kuwabara were ok, but he didn't know how he would approach the two since he has a rocky relationship with the two and he had to make sure that Rias doesn't discover it.

"I am bad in keeping secrets, but this isn't some money or some other crpa that I took. I need to think ahead!'' Thoguht Yusuke.

He decided to keep things being very descriptive and be careful around Rias when it comes about the Spiritual World, he didn't have time to do some stupid request as if he is a errand boy, he could tell the other members have a bunch of request because of their appearances. If you had just had a piece of paper and you could summon a woman like Rias or Akeno you would buy a whole stock of it.

"I need to get closer to them, maybe if I can feel something off I will know when to act, but what if something went to attack them?''

He thought about how to approach the both of them, Kuwabara would be a headache because of their so called rivalry but he could try to be more educated and try to talk more, but he knew this would take a while, so he decided to go with Keiko first.

"Keiko might more important, Kuwabara is dumb but he is not too dumb to fall into a trap.'' Thought him.

The teen just nodded and decided to check Keiko first and if he had time then Kuwabara.

At Kuoh Academy

Yusuke was near the gates of his school, but surprisingly Botan was also there with her oar but being in a safe distance so nobody could see her.

"So do you have an actual plan?'' Asked her.

"Nothing groundbreaking, I just have to be all natural. It's one of my charms.'' Said Yusuke.

"Do we have to have a back up plan?'' Asked Botan with a raised eyebrow.

"We don't need such a thing, leave it to me!'' Said Yusuke.

"Great, so what do I say when Rias finds out?' Asked Botan.

"Hey!'' Scream Yusuke pissed.

"Sorry Yusuke, but from our reports you don't have the best lying game.'' Said Botan.

"Fine, I will be more focused on the main task. Don't worry about it, tell Koeman I am no slouched.'' Said Yusuke.

"That's the spirit! Go get them tiger.'' Said Botan with a smirk.

"Shut up!'' Said Yusuke annoyed.

The green jacket teen entered Kuoh Academy, his mission to find his childhood friend and he had a pretty good guess where she could be at.

At the Halls near the Student Council

Keiko was finishing putting some pamphlets around the walls, some clubs' announcement and small things. Nothing major. After that he received a comment from someone, she didn't expected it.

"Well, if it isn't Keiko the errand girl.'' Said Yusuke with a smirk.

"Yusuke! What are you doing here?'' Asked Keiko.

"Uh going to school, liking or not I still have to graduate.'' Said him.

"Sorry, I am just…'' Said Keiko a bit nervous.

The girl just had a blush on her face as Yusuke looked confused at that.

"What?'' Asked Yusuke.

"Just surprise that you finally took interest in school!'' Said Keiko.

Yusuke just had a sweat drop on his head, while Keiko blushed even more.

"Do you wanted to talk about something?'' Asked Keiko.

"Uh…no. I just wanted to say hi and that's it.'' Said Yusuke not sure on what to do next.

"Ok.'' Said Keiko.

"Well see you later, I am going to class.'' Said Yusuke.

"Stay there this time!'' Said Keiko.

"Ok ok.'' Said Yusuke not carrying

The teen went to the other side, not seeing Keiko with a sad face, Yusuke maintained a goofy expression as if he didn't care, but as soon he went to another hall he had a look of fury, because he couldn't continue. Besides, what he should say to Keiko? I need to see if you are ok spiritual wise?

"Idiot! I should have done a script or talked with Botan again! I can do this, I still have time before class so I can…'' Thoguht Yusuke ready to go back but he saw Keiko with other people already.

"Keiko-chan! Do you need help?'' Asked Tomoe the treasury of the President Council, who was with Keiko alongside all the other girls of the Council with the exception of President Sona and Vice President Tsubaki.

Yusuke just grinds his teeth annoyed, now that he was turned into a devil, he could sense that these girls weren't normal, Keiko felt like always but these girls were the same vibe he got from the guys at the club and if Koenma stamen was right these girls were also devils like him.

"Here is the goon squad from that prick for rules. They are all devils, no shit. No wonder we had the same people from the last year still on her office, couldn't she be a little more creative? I can't go back now, they might tell Rias, so what do I do?'' Thought Yusuke.

While Yusuke saw that Keiko was busy he decided to try to contact Botan and see if she could give him some idea on what to do next.

"Botan!'' Scream Yusuke.

"What?! Why the loud tone? Did you went near Keiko?'' Asked Botan.

"It's not going to work'' Said Yusuke.

"What do you mean?'' Asked Botan.

"Keiko is with Sona henchmen. If I do something suspicious near her, they will tell Rias. What do I now?'' Asked Yusuke,

"Well you can do a soul hopping body.'' Said Botan making Yusuke confused.

"What? What is that?'' Asked Yusuke.

"As a spirit detective you can hop into someone body, taking control of them and use them as if they are a different skin.'' Said her.

"Sounds cool, so do I with anyone or what?'' Asked Yusuke.

"It has to be someone with a high level of Spiritual energy.'' Said Botan.

"And where can I find someone like this?'' Asked Yusuke.

At another part of the school

Kuwabara was walking with his friends, but suddenly he stopped as he felt a chilly feeling.

"Something wrong Kuwabara?'' Asked Sawamura.

"I am feeling something cold.'' Said Kuwabara.

"Maybe you're getting sick.'' Said Okubo.

"I don't know, I take good care of my health and sis makes me take my vitamins. I don't think its that.'' Said Kuwabara.

The teens didn't know but Yusuke was hovering near them, not with his devil wings but in a spiritual form that he achieved thanks to Botan. His near presence would make someone with high spiritual energy feel a little bit off and Yusuke couldn't believe that Kuwabara was one of these people.

"I can't believe I am going to be in him. It's so wrong.'' Said Yusuke.

"Listen Yusuke, this is your only way to talk to Keiko. I didn't expected her to be with another devil peerage, be great she isn't a devil herself. It will be quick, just hop in there and you only have a few minutes to use his body.'' Said Botan.

"Ok, here it goes.'' Said Yusuke flying over to Kuwabara.

The green jacket teen went to posse Kuwabara as if it was an old ghost movie. At first the orange pompadour teen felt nothing, but then he started to twitch much to his friends confusion.

"Urgh!'' Said Kuwabara in pain.

"Kuwabara, are you ok man?'' Asked Kirishima.

"I don't know!'' Said the poor teen in pain.

Then after a few seconds of hard work Yusuke was in total control of Kuwabara body, he blineked for a second a looked at his hands.

"What that….'' Said Yusuke in pure shock.

The teen couldn't believe what he has just done, he entered someone else body. He felt that everyday was being one weird thing after the other ever since he became a devil.

"Woah, I am really in this idiot body. I gotta say not much to be impressed.'' Thought Yusuke.

"Kuwabara are you ok?'' Asked Okubo worried.

"Oh…its nothing. I got a stomach ache and that's it.'' Said Yusuke doing his best to imitate Kuwabara but was giving off weird tones.

"What? Just that? It looked like it was way more than just a stomachache.' Said Sawamura.

"Are you really ok man?'' Asked Kirishima.

Yusuke knew he didn't wanted to spent too much time with these guys, he had a mission to do. He knew that the Student Council wouldn't care if the punk Kuwabara was talking with Keiko.

"I am fine, in fact takes these yens! As a token of our friendship! Go buy some sodas for all of us.'' Said Yusuke giving all of Kuwabara money to his friends.

"Woah thanks Kuwabara, you're the best!'' Said Okubo.

"Sure! I need to get somewhere first! See you all later.'' Said Yusuke leaving the group.

The teen soon went off to the halls of the school, just thinking where Keiko could be at this time and where would the next Student Council meeting would be.

"Ok, now I need to find her.'' Thought him.

Later

Keiko was finished looking at some documents, despite her job she barely paid any attention on it since she couldn't stop thinking about her embarrassing conversation with Yusuke earlier this morning.

"Why did I stutter when talking to him?'' Thought her a bit shy.

"Keiko!'' Scream the other big punk of the school.

The girl tried to see Kazuma Kuwabara, who apparently have been running around the halls and was even catching his breath. She blinked confused over that scene.

"Kuwabara, what are you doing?'' Asked Keiko.

"I was looking for you all day!'' Said Yusuke still trying to do a good impression of Kuwabara, but was getting hard.

"What do you need?'' Asked her.

"Do you feel fine?'' Asked Yusuke.

The girl just looked a bit confused over that question, she knew Kuwabra fine but they have never been this close. At the moment she didn't know what was happening right now.

"I feel fine, nothing major.'' Said her.

"Oh that's wonderful. Listen I need to talk with you about…'' Said Yusuke ready to talk but then something started to happen.

The control over Kuwabara body was getting harder, Yusuke was losing control as the real one was getting his conscience back.

"What?! What do you wanna talk?' Asked Keiko confused.

"Kuwabara! Stay put! I need your useless body for a moment!'' Scream Yusuke internally as Kuwabra was fighting back.

"What is…going…on!'' Said Kuwabra now getting control again.

Soon Yusuke was tossed back and Kuwabara was back in his body, still Spirit Form Yusuke was now perplexed that the idiot was beat him at something.

"Man, this is the lowest I've ever been.'' Thought Yusuke.

Back with the other two Keiko was now worried for Kuwabara safety, meanwhile the punk felt as if he just woke up and with no memories of the last few minutes.

"What happened?'' Asked him confused.

"Kuwabara do you need to see the nurse?'' Asked Keiko worried.

"Keiko, what happened?'' Asked Kuwabara.

"You started to twitch all weird and you said you wanted to talk to me. What was about it?'' Asked Keiko.

"I have no idea. This is weird.' Said Kuwabara confused as he and Keiko have no idea on what just happened.

With Yusuke

The teen went to look for Botan, he wanted some explanation on what just happened with Kuwabara, he wanted to know how that idiot was able to toss him out as if it was nothing.

"That was the worst experience I've ever had!'' Scream Yusuke.

"Oh stop you big baby, you got to cuddle with the little sister of Lucifer. I know a lot of supernatural beings who would die to be on your shoes.' Said Botan.

"Botan explains! How did he do this?' Asked Yusuke.

"You see apparently Kuwabara is more than you give credit for. Not only do we sense a great amount of Spiritual Energy on him, but his sacred Gear is also tied with it. Do you know how rare it is for those things to be connected to Spiritual powers?'' Asked Botan.

"Sacred Gear and a Great amount of Spiritual Energy. Was the creator so pitiful when he made that idiot?'' Asked Yusuke confused.

"I don't know, the Lord worked in mysterious ways.'' Said Botan.

The teen looked confused over that statement worked was God not in charge anymore or something else? Either way, Yusuke wanted to find another way to deal with Kuwabara and Keiko.

"Listen, i need a new tactic. Do you have any idea?'' Asked Yusuke.

"Well, I can contact some people to help us out. They might find a solution for our problems.'' Said Botan.

"Great, get to work!'' Said Yusuke

"Hey I am not your errand girl. Which by the way shouldn't you be at your club?'' Asked Botan with a smirk.

The teen just realized that. All that mess with Kuwabara and Keiko that he forgot to pass around the club and talk with the others. Rias was going to give a lecture, he felt that.

"Good god…argh!'' Said Yusuke now in pain.

'Cant say the G word.'' Said Botan with a smirk.

"Shut up!' Scream Yusuke.

Later

At the ORC

Yusuke went there and told the group that he got busy arguing with someone else, they accepted that excuse but told him to not be late in the next encounter. Then Rias gave Yusuke his contract of the day, help an old man fix his TV. He felt this was a waste of time, but what he could do?

Then 30 minutes later Yusuke returned feeling all annoyed, much to the club confused.

"What happened?'' Asked Rias.

"The old man cancelled at the last moment. It said someone got his TV fix. Just wasted my afternoon looking for that guy and when I get there he tells me he doesn't need my services anymore! Bastard.'' Said Yusuke annoyed.

"It happens to me too.'' Said Kiba.

"Same, some people aren't as easy to hold into their contract.'' Said Koneko.

"Yes, luckily me and Bunchou have a good amount of contracts that have been fulfilled. I am just glad that nobody cancels on us.'' Said Akeno.

"With your look only, a fool would want to cancel their contract. Trust me, both you and the president are going to be fine.'' Said Yusuke.

"Oh thanks Yusuke-kun.'' Said Akeno.

"Listen Yusuke, I know this was annoying but its part of the life of a devil. Some people are grateful and others are unpleasant, we just have to live with it.'' Said Rias.

"Well, I hope you are right, because I just wasted my time looking for someone to just tell to go back. I can't teleport yet, do you know how tiring this is?'' Asked Yusuke.

The red-haired devil gave a sympathetic look and gave him her honest answer.

"You're still new to this whole game, give time and you will get used to this life. Nobody here liked it in the start but eventually they all accepted it.'' Said Rias.

"I guess you're right, sorry for my rant early.'' Said Yusuke.

"Its ok, what you did is pretty understandable. I will put that man on our blacklist so can't summon us anymore.'' Said Rias.

"Appreciate president!'' Said Yusuke.

Rias just smiles as she does just that. She had to admit having Yusuke around her peers was an interesting move, even he didn't have a sacred Gear he was an interesting person to have around.

At the Student Council

President Sona and Vice President Tsubaki were discussing the big events of the day, wondering if there was something that was worth having a closer look.

"President, I got word from Keiko that Kazuma Kuwabara acted weird around her. Apparently, he wanted to speak with her, then after a weird set of movements he completely forgot what he wanted to talk about it.'' Said Tsubaki.

"Uh, that is rather odd. Let's keep an eye on him for the time being.'' Said Sona.

"Perfect, I shall contact the others about it. Also, what are our position on Keiko?'' Asked Tsubaki.

"Oh I made my decision.'' Said Sona.

"So, are we going to include her?'' Asked Tsubaki.

"Yes, I feel she would work good as Knight. Her intelligence and Sacred Gear would play a valuable role into my ranks.'' Said Sona.

"I don't know if she will be comfortable when learning the truth.'' Said Tsubaki.

"Give it time, all of us had trouble in the beginning. If things work out great we might even have a new rook with Kuwabara, I felt a great amount of potential on him. Sure, he might be a bit of a punk but we can correct his behavior.' Said Sona with a smile.

The vice president just nods it as they went off back to their duties, not even knowing what was happening behind the curtains of Kuoh Academy.

So yes, Yusuke hopped into Kuwabara body and didn't worked out as it did in the anime. I have to get creative on how Yusuke will connect with Keiko since we are not doing the Spirit Yusuke plot and he is already awakened. I know it's a bit tiresome, but it's a fun idea.

Next time Yusuke and Botan get help from a little girl into their quest and Keiko gets some interesting news.
