Hey there, I wanted to give you all a treat. I was so happy that this fic got its own TV tropes page that I decided to write some extra chapters for you all. This one should be a day of a regular on doing quests for the Komi Peerage, don't worry we will get some cool things to do. I am still planning what will be the big climax of Season 1, because the wedding is a whole Rias thing but I will mention, plus I want the peerage to be formed to a good point by the end of season 1, I am still writing making the maps. I hope you all enjoy.
At the Literature Club
The Komi Peerage was having their first day with their new member Himiko Agari, their Bishop and of course the girl was being a pile of nervous.
The literature club had some big chairs, some nice tables and everything was at candlelight, Najimi even stated that if someone asked the group was doing Macabre poetry reading or something like that. (AN: Its just a room, not a whole apartment size space like the ORC).
"Thank you all for having me, I promise as a bishop…I will do my best and bring the best food for our lord Komi!'' Said Agari all shy bowing.
"We don't call Komi as Lord. Just call her Komi, she is fine with that, no formalities.'' Said Tadano with a smile.
The green haired girl just took a seat as Komi looked at all simple, but inside the devil girl was a pile of nerves
"So what is our plans for today, queen?'' Asked Najimi for Tadano.
"Well, we can take more quests, I felt a little bit of increase in strength maybe those request really help out devils.'' Said Tadano clutching his fist.
"Alright! We shall take more quests! I am right Komi!?'' Asked Najimi to her King.
"Uh?!'' Asked Komi a bit nervous.
Tadano then saw Komi started to write in her notebook, he just doesn't understand why she doesn't write with magic, but maybe Komi prefers this way.
"We are getting the hang of it in terms of getting contracts, if we keep a good pace plus getting more members, we could even be one of the Peerage who achieved the most in a year.''
"All right! That will be our goal! Get as much contracts deals as possible, Komi who has the leading rank?'' Asked Najimi.
Komi soon wrote down more and gave her answer.
"Its probably Rias Gremory or Sona Sitri, both of them have been acting up for at least 3 years so they are probably ahead of us.''
"Not for long, we are going to make you shoot up for first place! Just let me do my thing and we will be swimming in contracts very soon.'' Said Najimi
Komi was surprised on how eager her rook was to help her, she didn't know if it was because she was her master or it was their friendship but Najimi was becoming an important piece in this peerage.
"I will leave this to you.''
"Great, now let me work! Time is money.' Said Najimi looking over the contracts for the day.
Komi just look in amazement as Tadano brings a cup of tea for Komi, it was the cheap kind but she didn't mind that.
"We are going to help you make a good Peerage, but also get some friends along the way. See you already have 3 people with you and we are all friends and we would all die for you, am I right Agari?'' Asked Tadano.
"Yes…you…can count on me too!'' Said Agari all shy.
The long haired girl didn't know what to say, Tadano was being so kind to her that even her cheeks were starting to get red. She decided to rub off and try to continue being calm, but inside she was shaking nonstop.
"You said the leaders in contracts are Rias Gremory and Sona Sitri who are they?'' Asked Tadano as Komi wrote down.
"They are both devil girls that I knew since I was a kind in the Underworld. They both live in Kuoh with Rias having most of city as her territory.''
"Kuoh, isn't that just 30 minutes by train?'' Asked Tadano
"Yes, that's the closest town. Are you sure that none of them are trying to take a little bit of your territory?'' Asked Najimi.
"No, Itan has been without a guardian for a while, I am the first one who claimed this city in a long time, Kuoh on the other hand has been with guardians of the supernatural ever since its creation.''
"I see so they are pretty much working in a environment already adapted with the Supernatural?'' Asked Tadano
"Yes, Kuoh has a large number of creatures living there among humans, Itan has also but in a very minor capacity.''
"I mean it makes senses, both cities are not as big as Tokyo but if you compared side to side Kuoh is a little bit bigger.'' Said Najimi.
"We…can do a map of all the key places of the city. I mean find out who is a supernatural being and warm them about you.'' Said Agari with a suggestion.
The club looked at the shy green-haired girl in surprised, despite being shy and awkward she was giving really good advices.
"Yes! Oh yeah, I forgot that you know every hidden restaurant in town you pretty much know this place geographically. Man, I knew getting you was a good idea.'' Said Najimi with a smirk.
"Agari, please make a list of all the main key places of Itan for us.''
"Ok!'' Said Agari all nervous as she writes down for Komi.
A little later
"Here!'' Said Agari
The group saw the main points of Itan city. The Carnival Fair, the church, the gaming district, the adult district, their school, the restaurant district, the train station and finally the waterpark. Not much but it looked like it had more to offer than Kuoh.
"We got all of this to deal with.'' Said Najimi.
"That's a large territory to keep track of it, not with just 4 people.'' Said Tadano looking at the peerage.
Komi looked at her city and was a bit nervous on having all that place just for her, she didn't know if could handle all of it on her own. She knew her parents would help if something happened but she wanted to try handle things like a mature devil, that's what all the others main devils did.
"Agari are you sure these are all the main places in this city?'' Asked Najimi.
"Yes! I passed throught them multiple times.'' Said Agari all nervous.
"What about the church? Do we have any sort of enemy coming towards us? To kill our devil hearts?!'' Asked Najimi all dramatic.
"Less drama there.'' Said Tadano.
"No, I like it!'' Said Najimi
Komi looked at the map and tried to memorize it. She felt that there are less Stray Devils in Itan since the supernatural wasn't that present in this city compared to Kuoh, she looked for any sort of storage or abandoned place, the church would be something to deal later, that place wasn't abandoned but her parents informed that they didn't had any exorcist present, it was a regular church for people, but needless to say she had to look out for any sort of attack.
"I can do this.'' Thought Komi trying to be more serious on her duties.
"Once we gather more members we should do a big investigation of the city, maybe Komi can feel something is off, I don't know I still have to feel how devils can feel any sort of treat.'' Said Tadano.
"Do you think we can fight off bad monsters? I mean look at me! I am a mess! If I was attack, I would probably ask the monster to just not look me in the eyes! I am a mess!'' Said Agari.
Tadano felt this was a bit too much for Agari, already telling her that in the future she would have to fight, but from what Komi said the Bishops are usually for helping the Peerage members recover and defense, but despite that she was a member of the peerage and she had to fight to protect Komi. Tadano felt he would be the one doing the speeches, since Komi was still too shy to make a full sentence and Najimi was…Najimi so he was the safest bet.
"Listen, I know you're scared, we all are. Komi's shaking at the very moment but this the start, once we got the hang of our powers and the territory this will be very easy for us.'' Said Tadano.
"Are you sure?'' Asked Agari.
"I don't know at the moment, we haven't started training seriously and we haven't encountered any sort of danger for us, but I have a feeling with can find our way. Komi is already super powerful, I apparently have a power that needs to be unlocked it, Najmi probably knows a way I feel it and you know already so much about food that can help us.'' Said Tadano.
"Are you also the Peerage therapist? Why are you so dedicated?' 'Asked Agari.
"I am Komi Queen, she saved my life and gave me this position, it's my job to make sure her peerage goes well and for that I need to make sure that everyone in the group is ok, that includes you Agari. So, if you have any sort of problem you can talk to me straight away.''' Said Tadano putting a hand on Agari shoulder.
"Oh thanks! I…I don't know how to talk to boys yet but I feel a little calmer while talking with you.'' Said Agari red but happy.
"That's great to hear.'' Said Tadano as he smiles with Agari while Komi observe the two.
Komi didn't know why but seeing that was making her feel a bit different, like a bit angry but she didn't know why she was feeling that it was her queen making sure her bishop was ok, but she couldn't help to feel a little off.
Soon she does the sound of clean throat to get people attention, they turned to her and she hides behind her notebook.
"Why did she did that to begin with?'' Thoguht Tadano.
"We should go do our contracts for the day.''
"Ok, every look at your request, did you got some Najimi?'' Asked Tadano.
"Oh yeah, I already have 20 contracts for this week alone and I have a waiting list for the next week.'' Said Najimi all calm while everyone looked at they in shock.
"What! You're already getting so much!'' Said Tadano.
"Yeah, when you are a devil buddy the deals just keep coming.'' Said Najimi with a smirk.
"I got one for today.'' Said Agari shaking.
"Me too.'' Komi lifted her notebook also shaking.
"I also got one, plus since Komi changed the restriction I am not going to get the same issue as last time.'' Said Tadano, still not sure how to feel about his first contract, he was happy to help Stella but the start was rough.
"Oh come on, you could have ban…'' Said Najimi but Tadano cuts them off.
"Shut up!'' Said him.
The purple haired rook just ignored Tadano and decided to lift up the energy of the club, that group seriously need more people to light up the place.
"Let's get Komi to the top! We are going to make her into the most awesome teenage devil in all of Japan! So lets get these contracts done!'' Said Najimi.
"Alright!'' Said Tadano excite.
"Y…e….ah!'' Said Agari shaking and all red.
"Y….e…..s.'' Said Komi also shaking and all red.
"Let's hit the road.'' Said Najmi teleporting out of the club in a second.
"They can teleport already!'' Said Tadano annoyed that Najmi figured how to do that before him.
Komi felt she had to teach Tadano that, since he was a devil for more than a week and he had a contract signed already he would be able to teleport himself. Agari on the other hand had to get a bus to arrive at her destination.
Now everyone was out to do their contracts, and each one was different from the other.
With Agari.
The green-haired devil was shaken nervously, sweating in her hands and trying not to run away. She felt as a devil now she would feel a big consequence if running off so she decided to swallow all her insecurities and try this.
"Ok! Be calm, think of your happy place, Komi saying a good job and a nice mochi after dinner!'' Thought her as she rings the bell of the house of the person who hired her.
Ding
The person who owns the house soon opens the door, it was a regular man on his early 30's with a sweater, jeans pants and glasses.
"Yes?'' Asked him.
"Sir…did you requested…a…a…a devil from…the Shoko Komi peerage?'' Asked Agari showing off her contract.
"Oh you're one of the devils from her?'' Asked the man.
"Yes, I am Himiko Agari, Shoko Komi Bishop, I am sorry my lady is on a important contract at the moment so I am here.'' Said her all shaky an looking at the floor.
The young man didn't know what to say the girl looked super awkward there and this might not work right.
"Listen, this is my first time calling out a devil request so I need to see if things are actually good, can you do that?'' Asked him.
"Yes.'' Said her.
Agari got inside his house and followed him, she was awkwardly following him so the whole situation was getting even more weird.
"Are you ok?'' Asked the young man.
"I am sorry! This is my first job and I was just transformed a few days ago! I don't know how to deal with any of this stress.' Said her all hysterical.
"Shit, I got the short end of the stick and I really need it help today.'' Said him.
"I am sorry, what kind of job were you requesting?'' Asked her.
"I am a chef and I need someone to taste my food.'' Said him.
Upon hearing that Agari stopped crying and had a complete serious tone.
"What did you said?'' Asked her.
"I am a chef; I am trying to open a small food business but I don't know if my food is good. My parents live in another state, and I have few friends so I don't if they would like to try and…" Said the young man but then Agari cut him off.
"Give me a sample of your food. Now!'' Said Agari all serious.
The young chef heard that and went to grab his food.
Later
Agari tried 4 different dishes, the young chef was now confused on how she was completely calm and quiet, a total difference from when he received her at the door.
"So what do you…'' Said him but then Agari went on to give her critic.
"It's needs more salt, the temperature is a bit off, the taste feels weird after the third bite and the smell is not pleasant. Re do it!'' Said her.
The young chef was confused as Agari looked at him a serious look in her face.
"Uh…'' Said him confused.
"You said you wanted help with your request?'' Asked her.
"Yes.'' Said him.
"What are you waiting for! Re do it. I am not living until you fix this plate!' Said her all serious sounding like a tv food critic.
"Yes maan!' Said him going to fix the plate.
Agari had a total 180 once the subject of food was given, once this happens the shy girl who could barely touch a boy was gone and a super serious critic was now in charge. She was going to be like this also in devil duties, her King only deserve to eat the best food.
In the end the man would sign the contract with Agari and spread about her for her colleagues, needless to say the shy devil would get a few contracts in the end.
With Najimi
"come on Najimi! Let me win one match!' Said a hocky player who was a ice field with Najimi playing against him.
"Oh you wish! Wanted a devil to play hockey with you? Pretty much signed your loser contract!' Said Najimi with a smirk.
"You weren't this stronger before. Let's time I checked you could barely lift at the gym.'' Said the hockey player.
"Of course, since become a devil I might as well have become popeye!'' Said Najimi flexing their arm.
"And what kind of devil gets this kind of power?'' Asked the player.
"I am the rook! Which grants me super strength! Watch this!'' Scream Najimi tossed a hockey disk towards the goal which passed the net and cracked the wall of the back.
Crack
"Holy shit!'' Said the player in shock.
"Don't mess the rook!' Scream Najimi.
"Ok, I will get another disc. You still own me 3 more matches wait up!'' Said the hockey player.
Najimi just saw him running to grab a new disc and just laugh out loud their new situation.
"I love being a devil.'' Thoguht they.
With Komi
The pure devil girl was called by an artist who was offering a small fortune to pay a portrait of Komi as if she was a muse. She had the face of one, but she had to keep it straight so he could paint it, after 8 failed attempts Komi filling got the strength to keep it up.
"Alright, keep it like that.'' Said the artist starting to paint her portrait.
The girl wanted to bury her face in her notebook, but she kept thinking of her servants/friends, she knew they were probably doing hard tasks so she need it to do hers too.
"I need to be strong…my peerage is doing their best so I must also be strong for them.'' Thought Komi trying her best to not hide her face, but she was shaking nonstop.
With Tadano
Tadano was going to meet up with a nice young lady for a quest, he wasn't scared that what happened last time repeat to him, Komi fixed the request paper, so he was fine.
"Ok, here we goes.'' Said Tadano.
The young man knocked on the young lady house and soon she answered. She had long black hair, a cute face and a breast probably of DD cup.
"Hello there.'' Said her.
"Hi I am Tadano Hitohito, devil from the Shoko Komi Peerage that you're requested. I am here to fulfill your wish.'' Said Tadano.
"Oh great, you might be perfect come in!'' Said her.
Tadano looked around her house, it was a modest small home for a young adult and he wasn't sure what the request was for the day.
"I wanted a boy to help me with this request and thank goodness they send you.'' Said her.
"I am here to help you in any sort of capacity, as long you signed my contract, and we keep up.'' Said Tadano.
"Great! Now just seat down because this job will be easy for you.'' Said her.
"And what is ?'' Asked Tadano.
"Well…'' Said her coming back now with a seexy bikini.
Tadano looked up at all red already having flashbacks to Stella.
"I am not supposed to have sexual acts with my clients.'' Said Tadano.
"Oh I don't want that. For you see I really want to get hired by the most popular Strip Club in Itan, but they want original choreography for their upcoming new dancers, I made up a new routine but I need someone to test it. I mean I didn't know if this was against your contract but I am not having sex with you so we can have like a lap dance and some striptease, right?'' Asked her.
Tadano was a bit baffled, because there was nothing against the contract about striptease or lap dance. From what Najimi told him a bunch of devil girls are called into contracts for striptease or some format of sexual dance, usually male devils never get to see this sort of action but now Tadano was required to received a lap dance and a full strip routine for his contract and he had no other choice but accept it.
"…Sure.'' Said him all red.
"Oh thank goodness, now seat down I wrote down a lap dance number and I need someone not creepy to stare at me. Let me just settle the music.' Said the young lady all happy putting Tadano in an old chair.
Tadano just sat down as she started to take her top off and tossed towards him, while she was shaking her breasts towards him, the poor devil only had one thought.
"Why do I keep getting these jobs!' Thoguht him all red as she started to a lap dance for him.
In the end, after a long strip routine and Tadano trying not to show off some higher bulges the contract was a success and Tadano even wished luck for this young stripper.
The Komi Peerage would all get contracted signed for the day. They didn't know that they're going into a great direction.
At the Underworld
At Lucifer Officer
Szierche Lucifer or previously Szierche Gremory was looking at the current list of young devils peerage. It was a daily thing of his, looking over the number of contracts that the young devils of lower class and the 72 families were doing it. Of course, at the top were the big 4 which consisted of his precious little sister Rias, Sona Sitri, Seekvaira Agares and Sairaorg Bael, most well known as the Rookie 4.
While looking at the list nothing seemed out of the usual, but then he saw a newcomer Peerage appeared in the list with an impressive number.
"Uh.''' Said Szierche looking at the list.
"What is it dear?'' Asked his queen and wife Grayfia Lucifurge.
"A recently new Peerage has appeared on the list, apparently they have been signing a lot of contracts.' Said Szierche.
"How many do they have?'' Asked Grayfia.
"Already 30 in less than a month.'' Said Szierche.
(AN: Of those 30 contracts 24 are from Najimi alone)
"Impressive, which young devil is leading this Peerage to success?'' Asked Grayfia.
The long-haired man looked for the name of the King of that peerage and he blinked in surprised when he saw the name.
"I can't believe it.'' Said Szierche with a smile poiting the name to his wife.
Shoko Komi
The silver haired woman looked at that in astousment.
"That little shy innocent devil is already getting so many contracts. She must have found great servants to her Peerage.'' Said Grayfia with a smile thinking of Komi.
"Yes, if she keeps up and improves her game, I can see her getting around Rias and the rest.'' Said Szierche.
"We don't wanna jump to that conclusion. She just started out and we are putting her up against 4 devils with incredible powers and blessed lineage.'' Said Grayfia.
"Who knows let's see what the future holds. I guess we should be keep an eye on you in the future…Shoko Komi.'' Said him with a smile as he puts the list away.
Sziercehe went back to his work as usual, just dreading the fact that his little sister wedding was coming very soon.
So yes, we had a very long chapter, and I was very determined to have this one done. I wanted to explore the dynamic of the Komi Peerage now with Agari as a member. I felt they have a good dynamic, Tadano is the straight man, Najimi the energetic one, Agari the awkward shy and Komi the beauty shy.
I know a lot of you wanted Agari dog like kinky for when talking to Komi, but I was never a fan of those, and the author kind gave up on that once Komi and Agari went to different classes. Just letting you know that in future chapters Agari might be a little doggy on bed.
Also, for fun and I will just say out loud, Tadano requests are mostly going to be very lewd. Like lap dances, massages, seeing lingerie, talking with models and pretty much everything Issei wanted. So while Issei is having to deal with a bearded guy dressed as Sailor Moon Tadano is getting a lap dance.
In terms of the contract, they never were fully explained in the series, after a while the author stopped making them getting request and put only in back up stories as if might be filler or not. Just because Najimi gets most contract it doesn't mean they will get a boost to be a God level powerhouse. Like Issei was definitely stronger than Rias and Akeno from day one but he was still the pawn.
