SuperTed had no doubt that how he was going to face Texas Pete would be very tough, but when his archenemy wore a dark blue space armour and helmet over his face and then he jumped down and landed in front of him to fight him, the teddy bear became very nervous and worried. In fact, he couldn't ever remember being this nervous and worried about anything before in his whole life and that was just looking at his archenemy in his suit before he got out his gadgets.

The first gadgets that Tex got out of his space armour were his twin laser guns. They fired very long and powerful red laser bolts, but SuperTed still managed to avoid getting hit by them.

As he kept running, SuperTed hoped those guns would run out of charge, but they didn't. He thought they must have something in them that allows them unlimited energy to produce as much red laser bolts as they could.

Then SuperTed looked around to see if there was something to whack the laser guns out of Tex's hands, but there was nothing except sand. Then that gave the teddy bear an idea. He ran to his archenemy, while dodging the laser bullets, and when he got closer enough to Tex, he picked up some sand and threw it onto the laser guns. Tex tried to fire, but they wouldn't work anymore. SuperTed was pleased that his plan to throw sand onto the guns to jam them had worked.

Tex angrily threw the guns to the ground. "Very clever, SuperTed. But you ain't seen nothing yet."

Then Tex got out a rocket launcher out of his armour and fired missiles at SuperTed, who managed to avoid them. The teddy bear hoped that the rocket launcher would run of missiles as he kept running around to avoid them, but like the twin guns, it seemed to have some unlimited energy resource to create more missiles.

Then SuperTed noticed that the missiles have been hitting parts of the wall, knocking some stone pieces off. That gave him an idea. While continuing to avoid the missiles, the clever teddy bear managed to grab a piece of rock and threw it at the rocket launcher, knocking it out of Tex's hands. Not only that, but the rock SuperTed threw also crushed it. So, another one of his clever plans had worked successfully again.

"All right, SuperTed!" Tex yelled angrily. "You wanted to see my very worst! Well, here it comes!" Then he got out an electric net of his space armour. He threw it to catch SuperTed, but the clever teddy bear managed to avoid getting trapped.

SuperTed had to do a lot of rolling to avoid the electric net. As he rolled on the sand, that gave him another idea. He rolled closer to Tex and, when he was near enough, he threw enough sand onto Tex's helmet, covering his visor. Not only that prevent Tex from seeing anything through the visor, but it also caused him to drop the net onto himself and trapped himself inside.

"Got any more tricks up your armour, Tex?" SuperTed asked.

He got his answer when the electric net ripped and Tex flew out with a jet pack on the back of his armour. He then flew to capture SuperTed, but the teddy bear kept dodging him.

After he kept trying and failing to capture SuperTed plenty of times, Tex charged once more for the teddy bear. This time, SuperTed caught him! The teddy bear used his strength to spin Tex around and then he let go. Tex screamed as he flew into his royal chair.

SuperTed made his way to the broken royal chair to check his archenemy didn't have any more tricks left.

When SuperTed reached the broken royal chair, he found Texas Pete was out of his space suit and was unconscious. The teddy bear held the unconscious Tex above him and showed him to the crowd. As there were no bad guys to stop them – not even Bulk and Skeleton felt brave enough to confront SuperTed – the crowd cheered and called SuperTed the greatest hero in the universe.

Then SuperTed turned to Bulk and Skeleton. "Release Spotty at once," he ordered. "And give me my rocket boots back."

After Bulk and Skeleton gave him his rocket boots back, SuperTed watched them release Spotty from the glass chamber as he put them back on. Then Spotty hugged him.

"You were very brave, SuperTed," Spotty said.

"Thanks, Spotty," SuperTed said, hugging his best friend back. Then he heard a beeping noise. He grabbed Tex. "What's that noise, Tex?" He shook his archenemy to wake him up, but he didn't.

"That sounds like a bomb," Bulk said. "The bomb that Tex had set up to blow us all up if he loses to SuperTed, so no one would live to celebrate the teddy bear's victory. Or something like that."

He looked around for the bomb. The beeping got louder when he was near the broken royal chair. He removed the broken pieces of the chair and he finally found it.

"Spotty, take Tex and the other villains and get everyone including yourself into ships and out of this space colosseum immediately," SuperTed ordered. "Bulk, Skeleton, help him and if I hear that you give Spotty or anyone any trouble –"

"We won't, SuperTed," Skeleton said. "We promise."

"What about you, SuperTed?" Spotty asked. "What are you going to do?"

"I must try to stop the bomb," SuperTed said.

"I'll come back for you, SuperTed, once I've –"

"No, Spotty," SuperTed interrupted. "Do not come back for me, no matter what! Just get yourself and everyone going before it's too late."

"Right, SuperTed. Good luck." Then Spotty carried the unconscious Tex on his back, took Bulk and Skeleton with him and started to escort everyone to their ships.

Meanwhile, SuperTed took the bomb from the broken chair and tried to defuse it, but he was struggling to do it.

Soon, everyone was in the spaceships in the hanger bay. Spotty's family were in charge of opening the doors for the spaceships to escape.

"We're ready to open the doors, Spotty," Mrs. Spot said.

"Then open them now, Mum," Spotty ordered.

Then the Spotty family opened the doors and all the spaceships flew out at once. There was only Spotty's spotted rocket left.

"Come on, Spotty," said Mr. Spot. "We need to escape now!"

"But I can't leave SuperTed," Spotty said.

"Go ahead without me, Spotty."

SuperTed's voice was heard on the PA.

"This bomb won't defuse. I'll have to go and send it somewhere."

"But, SuperTed –"

"No buts, Spotty. You only have half a minute left. Now, go!"

Spotty sighed as he joined his spotted family into his spotted rocket and flew away.

As the spotted family flew away from the space colosseum and joined the rest of the fleet, Spotty kept his eyes out for SuperTed, hoping his best friend would escape the building before the bomb goes off but he couldn't see him. All he could see was the space colosseum explode and the exploded parts crashing into Tex's space castle and the other space castles for the villains, destroying them.

Everyone was very sad. All the villains were completely sad because they lost all castles, their armies and their power in all the universe, especially Texas Pete, who was crying like a baby like he always did every time he got defeated by SuperTed. Everyone else was feeling very sad. They were all glad that they were alive and they were glad that Texas Pete and his villain friends no longer ruled the universe and they had their freedom again, but they were very sad that the greatest hero of the universe SuperTed had died to save everyone. Spotty was the saddest of them all because he lost his very best friend he had his whole life. And there was nothing Mother Nature could do with all her powers to bring him back. The only thing anyone could do right now was fly back to their home planets.

During his flight to the Planet Spot, Spotty felt miserable. He was so miserable that he couldn't talk to his family and he couldn't feel good that he helped to save the universe from the evillest villains ever.

Then he thought he could see something floating into space. He asked his family to stop the rocket so he could fly out and check the thing out.

Spotty was relieved that thing was what he thought it was.

"SuperTed!" Spotty cried happily. "SuperTed! You're all right!"

But SuperTed wasn't. His fur was singed, his scarlet suit and yellow rocket boots were partly burnt and he was unconscious.

"Oh, come on, SuperTed," Spotty said, as he tried to wake him up. "Wake up. Please, wake up, SuperTed." Then he remembered his cosmic dust and threw some onto SuperTed. But that still didn't work.

As there was nothing more he could do, Spotty sadly decided that he had to return to his rocket with his spotted family. "Well, goodbye, SuperTed. And thank you for being my very best friend ever and for helping me become the very best version of myself." Then he sadly flew back to his ship.

"What are your going to, Spotty?"

"Not now, SuperTed. I'm having a moment. I need to –" Then Spotty stopped talking and turned to see who was speaking to him. "SuperTed?"

"Yes, Spotty. It's really me."

"I'm not dreaming, am I? I don't think I've eaten too many spotted chocolates or spotted sweets or spotted –" Then Spotty was surprised when SuperTed hugged him.

"Is this real enough for you, Spotty?" SuperTed asked. "A hug from your very best friend?"

"Yes, SuperTed, it is," Spotty said, returning the hug. "In fact, it's more than enough."

Then SuperTed and Spotty flew back to the spotted rocket. The Spotted Family were delighted to see SuperTed alive and well, apart from being a bit burnt.

"What happened, SuperTed?" Blotch asked.

Then SuperTed explained everything. When the Spotted family finally left the hangar of the space colosseum, SuperTed tried to find somewhere to throw the bomb, but he couldn't and he was running out of time, so he managed to bury the bomb deep into the space colosseum and then he tried to fly out. But the bomb exploded and the everything around him start to collapse. Things hit on the head, knocking him out. And he was shocked when he found himself floating in space and away from that space colosseum after he woke up after Spotty gave him some cosmic dust.

"So, did everyone get out okay?" SuperTed asked.

"Oh, yes, SuperTed," Spotty said. "Everyone got out safe and sound. And all the villains are under arrest and awaiting trial and all their space castles are all destroyed. They have no more power in the universe at all."

SuperTed was delighted to learn all that just as much as the rest of the universe was for learning that SuperTed survived and was alive and well as usual.
