Chapter 5 Smashing pumpkin foes
Quick as a whip Asmodus made his way to the pumpkin patch entrance seeing a row of innocent pumpkins but Ozzie can feel the ghosts possessing the pumpkins and if he tried to come close they will ambush him "If what was true, the pumpkin are possessed and using and Lyles inventions should scare out the ghosts and even scare Betrayus ghosts back to normal *Switches to his Santa Claus outfit as he reaches into the bag and tosses a present* marry Christmas!" He said as he tossed it as it fell infront of the row of pumpkins and out popped a jack in the box which caused the pumpkins to break and startle out of it ghosts (NBC) types that were green but in a panic became normal white as there were also Pac ghosts but the scare shook off the spell they were under as they flew off saying sorry as Quick as a whip Ozzie used his Pumpkin king form to burn them away.
"Looks like it works, I should be able to get deeper into the patch" he said as he ran forward using the presents to scare the ghosts out of the pumpkins and using his soul robber and flames to take them out as he soon got to a broken bridge with many smashed pumpkins before him "This isnt good" said Ozzie as Husk and Bulkhead overseers of the patch ran over "Ozzie your are back!" Said Bulkhead happy to see there leader "Glad to see you are back alot of people missed you" said Husk "What happened the pumpkin patch is one big mess" said Ozzie observing all over at the smashed pumpkins "Its CHERUB and that darn Deerie she is a bad influence even Collin who was sweet and calm is being naughty, they broke the bridge and some of the skeletons and ghosts are eating the pumpkins" said Bulkhead pointing to a large carved jack o lantern with ghosts floating in and out of it.
"They are eating the inside of it, if it gets destroyed the patch will loose its blessing, what a pain" said Husk "Then I know my next destination I grew up around here so I know a few secrets short cuts to get around" said Ozzie "Good and also Lady Beth is in the patch trying to clean it up, if you see her don't be afraid to help her and be careful, there are also Poes hidden in the pumpkins" said Husk as Ozzie nodded and hurried deeper into patch taking out ghost possessing pumpkins and freeing the Pacman ghosts who apologized as Ozzie saw with his senses Poes invisible but he was going forward with taking them down easily with his flames or the soul robber as he continued forward but the sound of a feedback caused him to stop.
"Testing oi this better be on…wonderful, Citizens of Greed town! I have found out that Asmodus has come back! According to the reports he is enjoying our dangerous town so much that they are practically SCREAMING in horror HAHAHAHAHAHAHAH! Rejoice! This is thanks to your efforts, Collin my prodigal son, my shinning star, go finish what your half-witted, half alive playmates started, because if you dont trust me…there is more than half a chance that I will be very very angery in my greed magic, hahahahahaha oh and while your at it, Collin dont make a pig of yourself your mission is to destroy Asmodus not eat until you are a more fluffy sheep
Said Mammon as the feedback stopped as Ozzie huffed "I better hurry to the big pumpkin and save it" said Ozzie walking forward but stopped by a curled root blocking his way and on top was Collin, up to no good again! As the sheep smirks "Hay Oz want some candy *Shows a bag of candy* with all that running I think you need a boost" he said teas mocking so unlike the polite sheep Cherub "No and Stop this Collin you are hurting everyone, what is going on this isnt like you so turn yourself in before you fun hurts people" said Ozzie as Collin laughed "Awww come on the fun has gotten started you might as well be lost in my maze of roots and pumpkins you will be scrambling around you wont be able to stop what me and my pals did at the Mayors house…(covers his mouth) whoops I wasnt supposed to tell you that later Oz" said Collin quickly as Ozzie glared "How can I get pass this root?" He pondered as a aura ball struck the root as it uncurled as he turned and saw Beth.
"Lady Beth your ok" he said as the neplhem straightened her collar "Glad to see you are ok Ozz boy, things have been flexing between good and bad since you left to find yourself" said Beth walking up "Skrawl told me that everyone has spread out to try to curl what was going on and Bella had vanished" said Asmodus "I know we dont know where she was just that CHERUB stole her spellbook to revive Mammon and that Deerie seems to be manipulating them" said Beth "Is Lonna ok? She asked Collin to join the pack" asked Asmodus "She has a good instinct to tell there is something wrong possibly magic connected *Walks forward* come on ahead is a maze that will lead to the big pumpkin and if that goes the patch will lose its blessing" said Beth as Ozzie nodded and followed her and saw she was telling the truth on it being a bad maze "Hoo boy" he said "Follow me there is a secret way just keep your guard up because" started Beth as several monsters came from the ground* of that" she said as the two worked together to take them down with Asmodus using his soul robber, Flame and even the trick presents to take them down with Beth using her magic and sword following to greet he possessed ghosts.
They struck the scarecrows to allow the roots to uncurl as they pushed forward slaying monsters to clear the path as they soon made it to the exit where standing tall and proud like a guardian was the big pumpkin a symbol of the blessing for the pumpkins for halloween town but several ghosts were flying in and out causing damage "Come on we gotta save the big pumpkin head hurry" said Asmodus as they ran up "They are attacking from the inside out" said Asmodus as Beth patted his head pointing to a Root that Asmodus can grabble grab on to get in as they got to the top "We can cut open a hole to get in and dont worry about permament damage this big guy can recover from decay and scratches easily, just not continuing not allowing them to heal" said Beth as she used a knife to cut open a hole as they hopped on seeing more skeletons "Sorry but dinner is canceled" said Asmodus as they got into battle taking down the nasty skeletons clearing the way as a way down further was opened as they jumped down.
In the next room is filled with ghosts as Asmodus used his flames to burn them down as Beth got to use her sword to block slash attacks from scythe poes as she took them down opening the next way down "Alright going down your majesty" said Asmodus as they continued down as they saw it was filled with possessed pumpkins "That dosent scream trap dosent Ozzie" said Beth "True to that *Dresses in his Santa clause outfit* Lady Beth get ready *Tosses the presents* Mary Christmas" he said throwing them all over the area scaring the skeletons and Ghosts hidden in the pumpkins as Beth took them down and send off the good pac ghosts who fled as they saw another opening as they jumped down the hole as they saw Collin and two small pumpkins eating some small pumpkins. However Collin turned and saw the Nephlem and fallen angel as they crossed there arms "What how did you make it through my maze!?" Asked Collin surprised "Alright time to teach you a necklace" said Asmodus firmly "You wont beat me" he said pulling out a pumpkin gun firing pumpkins as the two dodged and moved as Beth stealth struck with a magic ball to destroy the gun as Collin flied around as Asmodus quickly used his soul robber to pull him down to stop him as the two combined there powers to slam Collin into the wall as his earrings cracked as he had swirly eyes as a spotlight shone down as floating down was another holiday door this time in the shape of a turkey as Asmodus pocketed it as he walked over to Collin.
"Listen pranks are one thing but making real danger is something that isnt a good thing" said Asmodus as Collin chuckled nervously "Sorry Ozzie, sorry " he said as Ozzie saw a key and took it "No more serving Mammon and you shouldn't trust Deerie she has a bad vibe" Scolded Beth "Ok Mrs Beth I promise" he said as he held his hands back…but they were crossed as Beth and Ozzie stepped out to get to there next destination to stop Mammons evil cruel plans.
Authors note: Collin is beaten and stopped but Asmodus and Beth must hurry to the next area to help the citizens.
Next chapter meeting with Betrayus must help Buggy who was trapped on his unicycle and free 1010 who were sealed into being bats and hurry to the mayors manor where Brook is also held hostage
