I'm back with a new chapter!

sorry for the wait! I've been a bit busy. Anyway I hope you enjoy!

"Fairy, what now?" I said confused, and then rubbing my eyes in disbelief. But the figure remained. Juandissimo flourished a bow with a dramatic flair that would put any Broadway actor to shame. "Your fairy godparent, Mi amigo. I am here to your life mucho mejor than you ever thought posible!" Says Juandissimo as he flexes his biceps, causing his white v-neck shirt to tear to shreds, and then he uses his magic to materialize a new non-ripped white v-neck shirt back on.

"Wait...your a fairy? Like an actual fairy? But... I thought fairies were just made-up creatures from fairy tales and movies." I said to Juandissimo with a puzzled look on my face. Juandissimo chuckled and said, "I can assure you, young Remy, that I am quite real. In fact, I can prove it! Go on, wish for something, and I can make it a reality!" Says Juandissimo with a wink. "Ok...um... I wish for a hot fudge sundae." I said shyly. Without missing a beat, Juandissimo waved his wand, and a delicious-looking sundae appeared right in my hands.

"Whoa! You really are a fairy! This is so cool!" I exclaimed in amazement. I then took a bite, and the rich flavors of chocolate and vanilla filled my mouth. "Oh my gosh, this is the best ice cream I've ever had!" I said with a mouth full of sundae. Juandissimo chuckled and said, "I'm glad you like it.". As I sat down and ate the Sundae on my bed, I felt a glimmer of hope for the first time in my life. "Juandissimo, can I ask you a question?" I asked tentatively. "Sure, little one, what is it?" He responded with a warm smile. "You can grant wishes, right?" I asked as I finished the last of my ice cream. "Indeed, I can." Said Juandissimo with a smile. I then thought for a moment and asked, "Juandissimo, I was wondering, can I wish for my parents to love me?"

Juandissimo's smile faded, and he looked at me with a sad look on his face. "What's wrong?" I asked nervously. "Remy," Juandissimo began, his voice serious. "I wish I could make your parents love you, but that's a love that has to come from their hearts. Magic can't force that." He said, placing his hand on my shoulder gently. "But, but... why?" I stuttered, feeling my eyes well up with tears once again. "Why can't they just... Why can't they just love me? Is it me? Did I do something wrong?" I said, feeling the weight of my past rejection crushing down on me.

Juandissimo looked at me with empathy in his eyes and said, "Remy, it's not you; it's them. They're the ones who are missing out. Your love is a gift, and it's their loss if they don't accept it." He replied firmly, trying to console me. "I try so hard to be a good son, Juandissimo. I really do... I do all my chores, I get good grades, I eat all my vegetables, but... I just don't know what else to do." I said, feeling defeated as tears began to fall from my eyes. Juandissimo nodded solemnly and poofed up a box of tissues with his magic. He handed it to me and said, "Remy, compaƱero, it's not you. It's them. Your a good kid Remy. Sometimes people don't appreciate someone or something special that's right there in front of them. But the ones that do, they're the ones that are worth your love." I wiped my nose and took a deep breath, feeling a strange comfort from the fairy's words.

"You think I'm special?" I asked. "Of course. I may have just met you, but I can tell your a very bright kid. Now I want you to say some good things about yourself." He said it with a smile. "I guess... I'm pretty good at chess, I can read really fast, I know how to write cursive, and I don't cheat." I said, trying to think of more. "See? You have talents and virtues, Remy. Now, let's think of something else to wish for." He said, his eyes sparkling with excitement. I thought for a moment and then said, "Can I wish for a friend?". Juandissimo said, "I'll do you on better. I'll be your friend.".

"You will?" I asked, hope rising in my chest. "Si, I will!" He ssaid itwith a grin. The warmth of his words wrapped around me like a blanket, filling the void that had been there for so long. I looked up at him, feeling a strange sense of gratitude for his friendship. "Thanks, Juandissimo," I said, sniffling. "Juandissimo...can I wish to fix my trophy? I...kinda smashed it earlier." I said, feeling a bit embarrassed. "Of course, Remy," he said with a gentle nod, and with a wave of his wand, the shattered trophy on the floor grew back into its gleaming, silver form. "Wow, it looks brand new!" I exclaimed as I picked the trophy up, feeling the cool metal in my hands.

"Good as new," Juandissimo said. Juandissimo looks at the writing on the trophy and says, "Wow, junior state championship, that's very impressive, Remy!" I nodded, feeling a bit of pride swelling in my chest. "Thanks," I murmered. "Say, I never played chess before; would you like to teach me?" He asked. I looked up at him in shock. "Really? You want me to teach you?" I said with a smile. "Yes, I would love that," he said, his eyes twinkling with excitement.

And so he sat down on the floor as I went to my game shelf to grab the chessboard. As we set up the pieces, I began to feel a sense of purpose and belonging that I hadn't felt in a long time. Teaching someone about something I loved was a feeling I hadn't experienced with anyone else. I showed him the moves, the strategies, and the art of the game. And as the pieces began to move on the board, I realized that maybe, just maybe, I had found someone who truly cared about me.
