Chapter 2 – Determination

It was clear that the situation was serious and there was something big going on, so Kairi had to do something about all of this.

- I need information... i think i should go to Radiant garden's computer, they should have gathered some information from there by now, well, there i will go then, I remember where they left the Gummiship, but i can't just leave Sora exposed here, i have to take him with me somehow, he's light but I better not get tired by carrying him in case any emeny appears so I have to find a way to move him easily, but how?

Kairi then looks around and sees a young kid on top of a skateboard and has a great idea, she procceeds to take it from under him leaving the kid floating on air, then she picks up the frozen Sora and put him on top of the Skateboard.

- Sorry kid, but this will be used by another boy now, i'll give it back later, this should help me take Sora to the Gummiship at least, here we go! – Kairi says as she manages to bring Sora's statue easily with her now.

When she gets to the Gummiship, she tries to place Sora in one of the seats, but due to his walking pose he doesn't fit in it, so she places him sideways in the seat, over the armrests, looking weird, but for Kairi this was better than just leaving him on the ground, making sure he's stable she gets the Gummiship ready then takes off. Finally arriving at Radiant Garden, she takes Sora with her using the skateboard again and starts to go directly to the computer's room, no one in this world was moving either, it really was this entire reality that was affected, at the castle in the corridor, she passes Ienzo, Evan and Ansem the Wise, who were halted too, so she couldn't count on them, Kairi finnaly arrives at the computer's room, luckily the computer started working when she touched it, so at least she could use it.

- Let's see, data, archives, Quadratum, here, now serach here for "time", waiting... there it is, "the flow of time", it is in the "4 commands" Document, let's see what this is and read the whole thing.

" The four commands

To our world Quadratum is a "fictional" world, and for theirs the same applies to ours in the opposite way, meaning that each world can be seen as a "video game" by one to another, and within deep research, it was discovered that four "commands" can be tied onto objects and interfere in the reality of each one of those two worlds, the commands are, "Scrap", that lets you destroy or "undo" any material of that world, "Build", that lets you control build anything new using the material gotten from the Scrap command, "Pause", that stops the flow of time of one of those worlds entirely, (it is theorized that na Panacea can undo this effect for some minutes, but it can only be used one time per one hour) and "Unpause" that removes the effects of the previous command, however, the last two commands are theorized to be part of the same item, stopping the flow of time on the world its used, then resuming the flow of time if activated on the other reality.

The first two commands were masterd by a boy named "Sora" who was able to tie those to his keyblade, preventing those two commands from falling into the wrong hands, as for the last two conmands, we don't have more information about where they are."

- So that's it... and i... i.. can't believe it... i never tought... that... a Panacea can be useful?!! Well calming down, i need to choose carefully, we have three scientists close, and i have to know were to get energy to the Gummiship and i have a good amount of informarion already, and Sora is a target, he souldn't be unaware of the situation and... and.. who i am lying to, i will use it on Sora already, i only have some minutes and all the information I need to resume time!

Kairi then goes to Sora, gets him off the skateboard, then places him in the middle of the room so he doesn't bump into a wall, then finally uses the Panacea on him, who slowly starts to move and finally ragains conscience, looking as his now empty hands:

- Huh?! Where did my phone go? And where am I? what's going on?!

He then looks to Kairi who is standing by his side and speaks to him:

- Calm down a liitle, there is something i have to ask you (also i can't believe i forgot to give his phone back!), where is the best place to get energy to the Gummiship, i will sum things up for you in the way.

- O-Okay then. – He replies

Sora takes control of the gummiship and heads into a place he knows there is lots of fuel for the gummiship.

After Kairi explained everything to him, they arrive on one different world, it looked like a big factory with a message on the entrance "We scare because we care", it was night time so no one was working there, they start walking as Sora says:

- Here it is, should help a lo...

- Aaaaahh – Kairi screams

- Huh? What's up Kairi?

- Why do you look like that?!

- Oh this is a disguise magic that is still on me, that's my monster form, we are in a place called "Monstropolis" and this is my desguise to fit here! I guess you won't need one since time is frozen and it's night, well the energy you need is on those cilinders with laughter collected, you explained well so i know i won't be able to help for too long, let's go!

They head inside the factory and find a room with a cart full of the cilinders they need, but before they can reach it a bunch of heartless show up and without a choice they start fighting, there were so many in a small room that even the two had to make some effort, they were able to get rid of most of them, only one was left, Sora jumps and starts na attack to finish this, however, he starts to slow down until he comes to a complete stop mid strike in the air, with Sora frozen in time again, Kairi has to rush and finish the job, ending the last Heartless that was there.

- He's stuck in time again, at least he knows what is going on now.

- You sure like to play with fire, we just need the commands that the boy holds, and for that, we need to take the kid with us, this is your last warning, those heartless were just the opening show...- as he vanishes again.

- This guy again, his voice sounds familiar but I never really interacted much with the Organization so I don't really remember, anyway I was right to take Sora with me...

Kairi's Gummiphone rings, she answers the phone but all she hears was a voice that sounded like it was in slow motion, than the call ends. She finds it weird but was so focused on getting things done here that she ignores what just happened with the phone since she didn't really put much thought into this, then she keeps going as she has other very important things to deal with right now, Kairi puts all the cilinders in a cart then goes to Sora's statue who was still in his monster form ready to attack nothing in the air, she grabs him by his foot and places him on the top of the cilinders in the cart so she can take everything together to the Gummiship.

- Oh my good Sora is so fluffy, this monster form has its advanteges, and to be honest, i do find him kinda cute like that, now to the ship!

Kairi then arrives on the Gummiship, gets all the cilinders inside, picks up the time-frozen Sora and puts him in the chair, looking even weirder than before, he was with his two legs over the armrests, his right leg all stretched and his left one also wide open but with his knee bending back, his body was facing foward in the chair and his arms wide open too, keyblede in his right hand and his face turned right too, but why so many details?! Kairi was looking at him for long so she noticed all of that, and he was so fluffy looking!

- Well this is the only chance i have to do that, with him like this, so still that in his frozen monster form I struggle a bit to process he's real, it almost feels like I'm looking at a Halloween decoration statue... Oh what am I even saying? All this is making me go a bit crazy, i know all that he has done to me, he deserves all of my respect and i want to be worthy of his, i promise Sora, i will keep your safe and i will fix this situation, you can count on me with that!

And so, the akward moment was transformed into a moment of determination, she wasn't just staring at him, but lost in deep toughts about how much he means to her, and now, she knows what to do!
