"Living in Gotham City always has its ups and downs, especially when it comes to Kite Man's life who has been through much ordeal when it came to his life as a villain as well as becoming an owner of a rundown villain's bar. One minute he was dealing with the breakup of his future wife, to another minute where he ended up with a girl who enjoys being around someone like him who has an honest personality and doesn't enjoy getting into criminal activity. Right now, the two were focused on repairing the bar after receiving money from the people they helped protect during the Apokolios and Triceraton invasion. Meanwhile, the two Seaviates had finally made Gotham City their home as they were enjoying the steady atmosphere that came to them before noticing something returning, something from their past."

Morning-Noonan's Bar

It was a busy morning for the gang at Noonan's due to the increase of customers visiting the establishment, especially having the chance to meet the low-tier villain who was able to keep the place standing after the bars around Gotham had either ended up destroyed or taken over by the alien invaders. Right now behind the bar was Kite Man helping out with his newly hired staff member Malice, who seemed less interested in serving people as she was texted on her phone.

"Hey! I need a damn drink here! I just lost my house to a fucking dinosaur, and I need to get hammered!"

One of the drunken customers shouted toward Malice as the Apokolips girl looked at the human before letting Chesire go at him and tear his throat out. Kite Man noticed his new bartender's pet acting up and could see it would be trouble, it left him to step in and handle the issue.

"Malice? While I'm glad you're able to respond to our less 'friendly' customers in an appropriate approach, maybe next time don't resort to killing. If that's possible?"

The owner asked about Malice handling rude customers that didn't result in sicking her cat and having them killed brutally. She rolled her eyes at Kite Man before going over to check out Chesire to see if her fur was stained by the man's blood, sighing at the challenge of keeping an eye on a dangerous employee of his. He looked over to see another bartender who was assisting Malice which was Spinner, who was in an argument with Fable about locking her head in the fridge during the invasion.

"Can you relax yourself, woman?! You're alive and got to see the drinks we'd be serving, the least you can do is be grateful."

Spinner explained about keeping the bodyless woman safe from harm after the attack that came to the bar as Fable groaned toward him since she could handle herself at the moment. The new owner could see he had a lot on his hands, and he decided to check on his girlfriend who was right now in the back checking up on new orders that had been sent to them with the help of Fugitoid on getting the orders for their customers. Walking to the backroom, Charles saw Lisa getting frustrated at the sudden popularity they were getting to the point where she lost control of her powers and destroyed several beers.

"I'm guessing you're taking our fame quite well, Lisa."

Charles responded to Golden Glider with a joke that while it was a good thing for them to get customers as well as getting money to pay for the apartment above them. The stress of customers yelling and Malice having her cat kill them was getting to her, along with the anxiety of how her powers were becoming dangerous around everyone.

"I'm sorry, babe. I should be happy about us getting customers and the both of us getting noticed after being the only bar standing after the whole invasion, I didn't think it happened this fast."

She spoke in a nervous tone on the success Noonan was getting along with doing her best to restrain her metahuman powers. Deciding to work on restocking the beverages and kegs, Lisa didn't notice coming from behind her was a hug that came from Kite Man who she thought was trying to have his way with her since they were in a private room. Instead, it was a hug that wanted to comfort her about feeling stressed out and needing some breathing room.

"Will just have to take our success slowly then. Who knows? With the money we're making, it's possible we can take a vacation outside of Gotham to a spot where there aren't masked heroes or madmen around."

Suggesting an idea for the amount of money they'd make as well as giving everyone a decent payment for their hard work at the bar. Smiling at the thought and deciding to reward Charles for being a good boyfriend, Lisa decided to offer him a few kisses on the lips for being considerate of her well-being. Before having the chance, she heard someone entering the room which left Glider to send one of her ribbons toward the intruder as it missed. The person who entered the backroom was Volcana, a former member of Poison Ivy's Natural Disaster team and recommended by June Moone to work at Noonan's after the fallout at the Legion of Doom and be her own villain.

"Sorry. But I think you two should check outside with the customers, especially how we don't have any."

Informing them about the sudden silence that was coming from the other room as Kite Man and Glider went back out to see the customers that were flooding to them had left. Checking out to see their staff standing near the windows, the couple went over to see what had taken the attention of their customers away from them.

"Eat my ass, a Villigan's bar?!"

Lisa shouted with anger as everyone saw how the woman glowed toward the sudden opening of a new bar right next door to theirs. Kite Man quickly rubbed her shoulders to settle her down before she killed him and their staff this was an alarming sight, the only ones confused by this were Slobster and Spinner who didn't know what this meant for them. Luckily, they had the former owner Noonan with them to help explain why this was serious and dangerous to their business.

"The place is a theme bar after villains, people like them more than superheroes nowadays. However, to avoid copyright issues with the actual heroes. They spicy it up with different costumes and gimmicks, the place is fancy and cliche as balls. But damn do they know how to make a business."

Noonan informed him as the Seaviates could tell this could be a threat to Kite Man since the bar wasn't that advanced and had much money since they'd been using it for fixing. Before any of them could suggest a plan to get the information on how this was possible, they noticed someone walking over to their bar while holding a basket. They couldn't see his face but noticed him not being a human employee from Villigan's, he had four arms.

"Okay, everyone. I've seen this before on television when two businesses are sharing a street, one side makes the first move and wants to be friendly. There's no reason to suspect this person of wanting to start trouble, so let's be professional and greet him like any ordinary."

"Babe!"

Malice interrupted Kite Man's talk about preparing for anything from their competitor as the girl pushed him out of the way to greet the basket-carrying messenger. The girl ran over and leaped onto his lower arms as the messenger was able to catch Malice, laughing at seeing her partner again and placing the basket on the table. Spinner and Slobster gasped in shock and horror at who might be dating Malice, especially since the employee from Villigan was a fellow Seaviate.

"Killamari?!"

They both called out his name as it was a four-armed squid with dark green skin and yellow eyes. He had on a Villigan's work shirt and appeared to still have the same muscles as he had when the pair worked with him back at Fission City. Just as the four-armed man enjoyed getting kisses from Malice, Killamari noticed the familiar creatures as it took him by surprise to see them again.

"Ain't this some shit? Slash and Slobster. Doctor Paradigm's first experiments that were forgotten because of the time their asses got beaten by a couple of sharks."

He responded to his old partners as it caused the duo to let out a roar and were ready to rip off their limbs after the years they'd worked with him. Malice's cat stopped them as the feline grew to the size of a tiger to prevent the walking sea creatures from attacking Killamari who was holding her owner. Kite Man decided to intervene since it would be a bad sign from the owner of Villigan's to have one of its employees attacked after attempting to greet them.

"Hi. Kite Man here, owner of this lovely bar you're standing in and boss of your dangerous girlfriend. I'd like to welcome you along with thanks for offering this decorative basket your boss has given us."

Greeting Killamari and trying to not start a bar war amongst them, the squid accepted the bar owner's greeting and shook his hand since he didn't come to Noonan's to start any problems. Taking a moment to check out the empty bar along with the ragtag gathering of regulars and employees that were working for the shabby bar, the squid held in a laugh at how it was hilarious it was standing after what had happened to the city after the alien attack.

"My boss wants to meet you and your partner. Since most of the regular establishments were destroyed and taken down, this was the only spot he could open up his business. When he learned about Noonan's and its standing against one of the alien generals, he was fascinated in seeing you."

Killamari informed Kite Man and Glider about his owner wanting to meet the power couple who had helped look after countless lives while the city was struggling to survive. Hesitating about the offer to meet a rival to Noonan's, Charles looked over at Lisa and his Seaviate friends who seemed ready to kick him out before accepting to meet Killamari's boss.

"I mean, if we can have a civilized talk then I don't see any problems with that. My friends and I are happy to meet with your boss."

Kite Man accepted the invite which left the three upset about making this decision by himself since the squid was bringing up bad blood against Slobster and Spinner. With that being answered, Killamari smiled at Kite Man before giving Malice a playful slap on the behind before returning to Villigan's to inform his boss about Noonan's owner coming over. Charles looked over at the gang to see if it was a bad idea to go over there.

"Before all of y'all start tearing him apart. I have to ask, does that guy have two dicks because of him having four arms?"

Queen of Fables asks Malice about their relationship due to her not being able to enjoy the pleasure of sex again since she's just a head and can't find her body. Malice smiled at it being a secret she wouldn't share with the others, but Lisa stopped the girls from talking about that since this was an important issue that needed to be discussed.

"Just telling you now. Killamari's was gene slammed with Alexander the Great. He always tried to be better than us despite being the third one made, especially when it came to his poison-tipped spears he could shoot from his hands."

Spinner tells Charles and Lisa about him having the same DNA as a historical soldier of war and being able to persuade his enemies. Unable to handle the conversation happening and feeling it was going nowhere, Kite Man walked out of his bar to meet Villigan's boss and see his next-door business neighbor. Golden Glider and the Seaviates went after the kite-themed man to make sure he wasn't going over his head and getting into trouble since the establishment could have anyone if they hired a dangerous creature like Killamari.

Later-Villigan's Bar

Having followed the squid Seaviate to his boss's establishment, Kite Man was the first to enter inside and see the interior having numerous monuments dedicated to the villains of Gotham City as well as the rest of the world. There were statues and autographed collectibles that came from the actual men and women who committed various crimes to get their names remembered. Charles was speechless at the sight of it being impossible to attempt to make Noonan's like this, his friends followed him inside to check out the interior for themselves with the three thinking different thoughts about the bar.

"Who's the guy on the floor? The Devil?"

Slobster asked Lisa about the digital floor that showed a demon with four eyes and red skin attempting to break free and burn everything around him. She didn't know it herself but could tell that the special effects took a lot of money to make it to that of procuring the collectibles that were hanging all around them. The four walked over to try and make themselves not too noticeable as they saw the employees cosplaying as popular supervillains.

"Noonan was right. They do try to spice things up."

Spinner reminded them about how the hired help was wearing a variety of costumes that came from different eras appearing somewhat real to the real costumes that villains wore. The three looked ahead to see Killamari gesturing them to follow him to the officer where they'd meet his boss, Lisa stood by Charles's side to make sure he knew that the owner could be a villain like himself if he could afford this place and hire a Seaviate. Following Killamari up the stairs to the office room, the four-armed man opened the door to reveal another surprise that made Spinner and Slobster horrified due to what was sitting in the chair.

"It's nice to meet you in person, Kite Man. As well as seeing my boys again."

The owner of Villigan's greeting Kite Man along with the Seaviates which came from none other than Doctor Paradigm. The same human who was responsible for their creation as well as their mortal enemies, the Street Sharks. It was the first time seeing the Seaviates creator along as felt upset about him smiling at seeing Slobster and Spinner again after all these years. Charles restrained himself from getting upset since the doctor was the same one who abandoned the two by themselves back in Fission City.

"There they're own boys. As well as my friends."

Kite Man spoke out for them as he did his best to not show any anger toward the businessman since they needed to be sharing the same street. Walking over to take a seat in front of him, Lisa did the same since she was the co-owner of Noonan's as well and didn't like the atmosphere that was being made in the room.

"Friends? Quite the acknowledgment due to the history we shared, they always had bad blood amongst the Seaviates I made in the past. Especially with Killamari, who has been able to do well on his own after he decided to off on his own in the world."

Paradigm responded to Charles's status between the sea creatures since he saw them as nothing more than soldiers who wanted to push his cause of making the human race stronger and more dangerous. Offering the couple a drink as well as his former Seaviates, Killamari walked over to offer his beverages as they accepted it due to Paradigm not wanting to stir up bad blood between them.

"Before we start acting like friends. Tell us one thing, how in the hell did you get away from the raptors? From what we heard about you, the group changed you into a lizard and then taken away."

Spinner questioned his former boss about his sudden disappearance of becoming a lizard since he went through numerous transformations before leaving them. Having brought up that old memory and how Paradigm was less than a man than he is now, the doctor decided to inform the swordfish about his whereabouts as well as the others, he pressed a button on the side of his table which presented them a power slide to explain his background.

"You're right. After I gave myself to the raptors, they took me to the stars where I saw many things. Horrible things, especially being attacked by the same invaders that we had just experienced. Para-demons, they tore apart Bad Rap and his men. Myself? I was experimented on to where they were able to remove my reptile DNA. They branded me, to spread the message to not cross Apokolips."

He showed illustrated images of him being taken in by a war vessel and experimented on by the scientists from Darkseid's forces. Changing the image to show him managing to escape the ship and returning to Earth, he was able to dig up his old bank accounts he kept hidden after he was taken down by his old enemies and start up a small business.

"After I got back up on my feet. I decided to become a businessman again, especially to get into the villain trend that's been popular lately. I was able to find Killamari passing as a wrestler, more importantly? I learned about the recent mutant sightings here in Gotham. I was lucky enough to meet them."

Continuing his story from mad scientist to bar owner as well as getting a variety of workers to help him establish Villigan's. What caught Kite Man's attention was his meeting mutants who could be similar to Bebop and Rocksteady, from what he's heard about the former scientist and his interest in genetic mutation. It wasn't pretty to that horrific with what he'd created in the past, Golden Glider decides to take charge of the conversation to help get right to the point of them being her.

"While it is interesting to hear about your sudden change in career paths, I know for a fact that Villigan's is crazy rich and go open up anywhere. What makes this street special?"

Lisa questioned him in a stern tone on knowing the long gameplay like her brother had taught her back in Central City, powerful bosses would wait for the right moment to strike and claim an important item that caught their attention. Paradigm said nothing but only wished to continue his business here in Gotham and nothing else, with that being said to that of seeing their conversation is over. Kite Man stood upward and welcomed him to the neighborhood before heading out of his office with the others following him.

"This was a bad idea. I may not be smart, but I know for a fact that Piranoid is a bastard waiting to bite something valuable."

Slobster told Kite Man about the history of the doctor in going for grand ideals that would either get him power to that of control over something that could get him to the top. While it was bad to think about that just after meeting him, Charles said nothing but slightly agreed with him that they had to be careful while Villigan's was open. Just as the four made their way out of the building, Paradigm let out a groan before his face started to change into a piranha's face along with his skin changing to scales.

"Those degenerate traitors! How dare they speak to me like that after I gave them intelligence! If it wasn't for me they'd be food for these people!"

He yelled in an angered tone as Paradigm lost control of his mutated side and broke the chair with his bare hands after seeing his first creations siding with a ordinary man. Killamari didn't seem to mind his boss's outburst as it didn't last long with him going to his cabinet to get a syringe of green liquid to keep him from changing. Reverting him back to human, Paradigm was able to restrain himself since he needed to focus on what was important as of now.

"It doesn't matter. Right now, after months of avoiding the recent Apokolips attacks that have happened in the last several years. But now? Since the downfall of Lex Luthor after that moon stunt of his, I can look into the items that he had in his business before being detained. Especially, what he did with this peculiar one."

Telling Killamari that after escaping from Darkseid and his sadistic demons, he'd been slowly rebuilding his strength and searching for any technology that was up for grabs. Including a black suitcase that he had before walking over to Noonan's bar with it and leaving without it. Not knowing that Kite Man and the others had it in their possession, whatever was within it holds the key to making him powerful again and possibly get his revenge against Darkseid for what he'd put him through in the past.
