To anyone who reads my fanfiction, I have something to say. Recently, I've been getting people who are wanting me to hire them to do Fan Art for my Fanfiction and I turn them down. It's at the point where I'm angry and want to take down all of my fanfiction. I want those who are planning on asking me in a DM or in the reviews to stop asking me because I will never ever hire you. I can do my own fan art for my fanfiction. You want to do some artwork for a writer who is publishing a book, go on social media and ask around.

If you as readers really want me to continue writing my fanfiction, then that's what I'll do because writing fanfiction makes me happy. If you honestly don't like the way I'm writing the story for any fandom that I write for, then you can make yourself an account on any fanfiction website and write it yourself. You don't have to physically read mine.

I DO NOT OWN POKEMON. I ONLY OWN MY OC, THE NICKNAME FOR HER POKEMON PARTNER AND THE POKEMON TEAMS THAT SHE HAS FOR EACH REGION IN THE FANDOM!

"Pika! Pikachu! Pikachu! Pikachu!" said Pikachu as he, Bounsweet and Popplio were running around as their trainers gathered around Sophocles' desk.

"Ma!" squealed Togedemaru as she wiggled around in the air before landing on Pikachu.

"Pika." panted Pikachu, looking at Togedemaru.

"Lucario." Meeko said to Pikachu as Togedemaru releases her spikes and tickles the mouse.

"Pikachu." said Pikachu, laughing. Togedemaru jumps into the air, spinning as Popplio, Bounsweet and Meeko squeaked in fear before Togedemaru landed on the ground, rolling around the room.

"Ow! My stomach!" shouted Riley as Togedemaru bounces hard into her stomach and she falls to the ground. Squealing excitedly, Togedemaru couldn't stop moving.

"Once Togedemaru starts, you can't stop it." said Sophocles as he and the others watch his Pokémon.

"Pika. Pika." said Pikachu as he and the others tried to calm Togedemaru down, then tries to tell her about Riley. Togedemaru gave a puzzled squeak before rolling into a ball, heading towards the others at a fast pace. "Huh?" the group said.

"No! Not again!" shouted Riley, protecting her stomach and ducking behind Kiawe.

"Pika!" said Pikachu.

"Riley!" said Meeko, running for Riley to save her as Togedemaru went up into the air, unknowingly heading straight for Lillie.

"Oh!" Lillie starts to scream when Mallow grabs her arm.

"Lillie!" shouted Mallow, pulling her to the side.

"Pika! Pika! Pikachu!" Pikachu said, telling off Togedemaru, who goes straight for him, causing Pikachu to be knocked in Ash's face.

"Ash!" shouted Riley.

"I'm okay." he said, just as Pikachu and Togedemaru hit the wall, knocking the books down.

"Pika." said Pikachu.

"Are you okay, Pikachu?" asked Ash.

"Are you in pain?" asked Riley.

"Pikachu." Pikachu replied, with Togedemaru popping up squealing. "Pika!"

"Thank you, Mallow." said Lillie.

"No sweat." said Mallow as Pikachu scurries over to Riley and jumps into her arms.

"Sorry about that." said Sophocles. "I'll give Togedemaru a good talking to."

"Pika, Pika?" Pikachu asked Riley, concerned about her.

"It hurts, but as long as I have you and Meeko to protect me, I'll be okay." Riley said with a smile.

"Almost forgot. Lillie can't…." Ash started to say when he was cut off.

"I can, too!" she implied.

"Huh?" said the others.

"At least, theoretically, I can." said Lillie. "I should be able to touch them if I truly put my mind to it."

"But you haven't touched a single Pokémon since you arrived at school." Lana pointed out.

"I know that." Lillie said sadly.

"Don't try to rush things." said Kiawe.

"It's okay, Lillie." said Riley. "Just take as much time as you need."

"They're right!" said Ash. "Soon you'll be touching them no problem!"

"Thank you, Ash and Riley. I hope so." said Lillie.

"Everybody in here?" asked Kukui as he appeared in the doorway.

"Huh?"

"Professor Kukui!" said Ash.

"Let's go see the principal. We're all going to take part in Principal Oak's special class." explained Kukui.

"His special class?" everyone asked. Kukui knocks before leading the class into Principal Oak's office. "We're all here." said Kukui.

"Oh!" said Principal Oak as he turns around. "You're really going to Mantyke this!"

He then pulls off the lids of both incubators of the two Pokémon eggs. "Huh? Where did you get those eggs?" asked Ash. Riley rolled her eyes at her brother.

"Pika." said Pikachu.

"The egg you and Riley brought me from the Kanto region is this one right here and this egg over here was just recently discovered up on Mount Lanakila." said Principal Oak.

"Have you analyzed them to discover what's in those eggs yet?" asked Sophocles.

"I think it's much more fun to wait until they hatch." said the principal. "So, I'll wait, which brings us to the point of this class. What if I cared for one egg and you cared for the other one?"

"Are you talking about us?" asked Mallow.

"You'll learn a lot from doing this." said Kukui. "Especially with an expert in class."

"Huh?" all but Riley said, then looked down at her.

"You just had to go there, didn't you?" asked Riley, glaring at the Alolan Professor.

"Lucario." added Meeko.

"I forgot that Meeko hatched from an egg." said Ash.

"Of course you did, Ash." said Riley, then turns to the others. "Meeko was my very first Pokémon who hatched from a Pokémon egg. Remember?"

"Sorry, it's been a good long while since I thought about it." Ash said with his hand behind his head.

"Riley, did you wait long for Meeko hatched?" asked Sophocles as Meeko walked over to Riley.

"It took a while, but it was worth waiting to meet her." said Riley, pressing her forehead against Meeko. "Sometimes, running with the Pokemon egg will help hatch it faster."

"Cario." said Meeko.

"I didn't know what kind of Pokémon she would be, but I felt some kind of Aura coming from her egg when I first saw it at Professor Oak's lab." Riley explained.

"You did?" asked Kiawe as Riley nodded.

"It kinda explained why I was given her, and I wouldn't trade Meeko for any other Pokémon in the whole world." said Riley as the others smiled.

"It'll be a great experience for you older kids, raising a Pokémon starting from an egg." Kukui added.

"And we're all be looking after it, together?" asked Lillie.

"That's right." said Kukui. "You are to observe the egg every day and then write a report on it. Simple, right?"

"How simple can it get, Wobbuffet?" asked Principal Oak. "Remember to add some Wobbaftection! Now, which egg which you all like to raise?"

"How do we choose which one?" asked Ash.

"It's so hard." said Lana.

"Hey, Lillie, which one do you like the best?" Mallow asked.

"Oh!" Lillie said, being put on the spot. "Let's see. I think I would choose this one."

"Why?" asked Sophocles, looking at the floral white egg.

"The spots on it look like flowers. It's so cute!" explained Lillie.

"You're right! It is cute!" exclaimed Mallow.

"How sweet." said Lana.

"You call that a reason?" Sophocles asked Lillie.

"What's it matter?" asked Ash.

"Guess it doesn't." said Sophocles.

"Then, its decided." said Mallow as Riley smiles from ear to ear.

"Wonder what Pokémon it'll be." said Ash.

"Who knows?" said Kiawe. "But a strong Pokémon would be nice."

"We can all play with it after the egg hatches, okay?" Lana said to Popplio.

"Pow." said Popplio.

"Pika." said Pikachu.

"Cario." said Meeko.

"Boun. Boun." said Bounsweet.

"Toge." squealed Togedemaru.

"And that brings our special class to an exhilarating close." said Principal Oak. "Be an excited Psyduck. Go for the Golduck!"

"Right!" said the kids.

Narrator: Now our heroes have a Pokémon egg to raise as a special project from Principal Oak, it's obviously the center of attention!

Riley: Yes, it is.

Meeko: Lucario.

"Wow! It's kind of warm." said Ash.

"Yeah, your right! It feels so alive." said Mallow.

"Let me touch." said Sophocles.

"Awesome." said Kiawe.

"Hey, Lillie, you try!" said Mallow.

"Oh, I don't know." said Lillie.

"I know you're afraid but remember Pokémon eggs aren't able to move." said Mallow.

"Oh. Yeah, you're right!" said Lillie.

"If it makes you feel any better, Lille," Riley said, gaining her attention. "I was nervous too when I held my first Pokémon egg."

"Really? You did?" she asked.

"Yeah. I was afraid of dropping the egg and hurting the Pokémon inside." said Riley, looking at Meeko who was taking a closer look of the egg. "But after a couple of days, I got use it."

"Cario." said Meeko, looking at the white floral egg and tries to read the emotions of the Pokémon inside, then presses a paw against it, feeling the warmth. "Lucario."

"I know, Meeko. It seems like it was only just yesterday, you were still an egg back in Kanto." said Riley.

"Lucario." Meeko replied.

"That's right. You hatched Meeko from her egg." said Mallow.

"Yep. And it was really worth the wait." Riley said, smiling. Lillie reaches for the egg when suddenly it moves a bit, scaring her. "Huh?"

"It moved." said Ash.

"I saw it, too." said Sophocles.

"That means it's healthy." commented Lana.

"I'm sorry, Lillie." said Mallow.

"Don't be! I'm fine." she tells her.

"I can't help but wonder what's going on inside that egg." wondered Sophocles, looking up at Rotom. "Will you scan it, Rotom Dex?"

"I'm not equipped with that function." said Rotom.

"Were you able to read the emotions, Meeko?" asked Riley.

"Cario." said Meeko, tilting her paw from side to side.

"Hey. What about nighttime?" asked Lana.

"Good question." said Mallow.

"Well, we can't leave it in the classroom." said Sophocles. "No way."

"Somebody has to bring it home." said Kiawe. They all looked at Riley.

"Don't look at me. I can't take the egg home." Riley tells them. "I'm already taking care of an egg as it is." Ash then raises his hand.

"That's where I come in." said Ash.

"I think Lillie would be best." suggested Mallow.

"Huh?" said the others.

"Can she do it?" asked Lana.

"That's the point!" said Mallow. "The best way to learn to touch Pokémon is to take care of the egg and get used to it bit by bit. So, what do you say?"

"Oh! Well, I guess I could try." said Lillie.

"Of course you don't have to." said Sophocles as Lillie whimpers, looking at the egg.

"All right. I'll do it!" she exclaims, catching the others by surprise. "I'm a student of this Pokémon school, too, aren't I?"

"Of course! I know you can do it." said Mallow.

"Now that's what I call, determination." said Riley.

"Yeah. As long as, you're sure." said Sophocles.

"She's going to be just fine." said Lana.

"Go for it." said Ash.

"Pika." said Pikachu.

"Lucario." said Meeko.

"We have faith in you." said Kiawe.

"Great. I can do this." said Lillie. On the outside of the classroom, clinging to the wall was a lizard like Pokémon. "Sala." it said.

"Koma." said Komala as it rings the bell for the end of the school day.

"Catch you later."

"See you later."

"I'm so sorry." Mallow said to Ash, Riley and Lillie. "I have to go help out at the restaurant. Could you look after them?"

"Sure." said Riley.

"You could count on me and Riley." said Ash. "We'll make sure Lillie, and the egg get home alright."

"Pika. Lucari."

"Have fun at the restaurant." said Lillie. "See you tomorrow."

"(giggles) See you!" said Mallow, taking off for the restaurant.

"Hey, which way do we go to get to your house?" Ash asked Lillie.

"It's a long walk, but I have someone picking me up." Lillie answered and a car pulls up. "There he is now."

"Greetings, Miss Lillie. Your car awaits." said the driver.

"Whoa! Would you look at that?" said Ash, taken by surprise.

"Pikachu." said Pikachu, shocked as well.

"I….I…." stuttered Riley, trying to find her words.

"Lucario!" exclaimed Meeko. After they piled into the car and driven away from the Pokémon school, Ash and Pikachu were looking out the window while Riley was sitting between him and Lillie.

"Pikachu." Pikachu said while pressing his face against the window. "Pika."

"So, how much longer?" asked Ash.

"We're actually on the estate already." replied Lillie.

"That was fast." said Riley.

"Huh? Estate?" questioned Ash.

"It means it's all part of Lillie's yard." explained Rotom.

"Whoa!" said the siblings as the car pulls up to Lillie's house with a man waiting for Lillie.

"I wish you a warm welcome home, Miss Lillie." he said, opening the door as they exited the car.

"Thank you!"

"Of course." said the man.

"This is Ash and his sister, Riley, my classmates at school and these are their partners, Pikachu and Meeko." said Lillie, introducing them. "And that's Rotom Dex."

"It's a pleasure. I am under employment as butler for the estate and my name is Hobbes." said Hobbes.

"Nice to meet you." said Ash.

"Pika." said Pikachu, climbing up onto Ash's shoulder.

"Nice to meet you, Mr. Hobbes." said Riley.

"Cario." said Meeko, bowing to Hobbes as she stayed at Riley's side.

"Greetings, Hobbes." said Rotom.

"I realize this may be asking a lot, but I must request that the Pokémon Master Pikachu and Miss Meeko wait within the garden area." said Hobbes.

"Huh?" asked the siblings.

"It's all right, Hobbes." said Lillie. "See, they all came home with me to help out."

"I see. Very well, then." said Hobbes, feeling pride that Ash and Riley were going to help Lillie. "If you'll follow me."

Unknown to them as they head inside, the Lizard peered from underneath the car. "Sala." it said, sinisterly.

"What a big room!" whispered Ash as they entered Lillie's house.

"Both of our rooms could fit in here." Riley said quietly.

"Please forgive my grievous mistake." said Hobbes. "Normally we don't allow Pokémon within the residence."

"You know they tend to scare me a bit." said Lillie.

"That's what it was about." said Ash.

"It's okay, Lillie." said Riley, causing Lillie to smile.

"Instead, we built a Pokémon playground in the garden where I could watch them all play from a safe distance." Lillie explained.

"That's smart thinking." said Riley.

"In mere moments, you will see quite a few wild Pokémon frolicking in the garden." said Hobbes as he takes them to Lillie's room.

"You're kidding!" said Ash. "Man, I'd like to see that."

"Me too." added Riley.

"Then I'd be pleased to escort you both." said Hobbes.

"All right." said Ash and Riley.

"Pika. Pika."

"Lucario. Lucar."

"And this is my room." said Lillie, standing at a set of doors at the top of the stairs.

"Awesome! Wow!" exclaimed Ash and Riley.

"It's bigger than both of our rooms combined." said Riley, in awe. Lillie runs over to a couch by a set of opened windows.

"I think we should put the egg right here. Hm?" thought Lillie. "Maybe it'd be better if it were softer."

"Pika." said Pikachu, as Lillie walks over to her bookshelf.

"If I remember, the book on eggs is over here." said Lillie, looking for the book and takes it off the shelf. "Let's see."

"Whoa." said Ash.

"Research mode." said Riley.

"Pika." said Pikachu.

"Cario." said Meeko. Grabbing a few pillows, Lillie lays them on the couch in a triangle pattern. "So, what do you think of that?" Lillie asked and Ash takes the egg out of the incubator.

"Feel good? You like it?" Ash asked the egg, causing the egg to get really comfortable in the pillows. "The egg says yeah."

"It does?" asked Lillie, feeling relieved. "Thank goodness. I never thought I'd be taking care of an egg. I'll need to do more studying to make sure it hatches healthy and happy."

"There's more to it than that, Lillie." said Riley.

"Huh?"

"Talking or singing to the egg works." she tells her.

"Riley never stopped talking to Meeko." said Ash.

"Lucario." Meeko said, smiling as she places her head on Riley's shoulder.

"Oh, Meeko!" said Riley.

"Better yet, Riley decided to sing to Meeko a couple of days after she hatched." said Ash.

"Pika, Pika." said Pikachu.

"You did?" Lillie asked the young girl.

"Yep, I did." said Riley, looking at Meeko. "I thought it would be a good idea for the two of us to bond."

"Lucario. Cario, Cario." said Meeko, grinning from ear to ear.

"Later on, Meeko also wanted to dance to any song that I would sing." Riley said to Lillie.

"Really?" asked Lillie.

"Yep. It's a lot of fun seeing them dance." said Ash.

"Pikachu." added Pikachu.

"Sometimes Pikachu would join in too." said Riley as Lillie giggled.

"Lillie, you really do love Pokémon a lot, don't you?" asked Ash, then sees a picture of Lillie when she was little. "Huh?"

"Pikachu." said Pikachu.

"Is something wrong?" asked Lillie.

"No." said Riley as she too takes a look at the picture.

"Lucario." said Meeko.

"That little girl holding a Pokémon, is that you, Lillie?" asked Ash.

"Yeah."

"Such a cutie." said Riley, causing her friend to blush at the compliment.

"Then you used to be okay with touching Pokémon." said Ash.

"Yeah." said Lillie.

"As a small child, Miss Lillie simply adored being with Pokémon." said Hobbes. "She adored playing with them all the time."

"Huh? Then what happened?" asked Ash.

"Honestly….I really don't know." Lillie said, confused as well.

"You don't know?" asked Ash and Riley.

"I'm not sure about the facts, but at one point in the past," Hobbes explained. "Miss Lillie resided with her mother for a period of time. It was when she returned to the estate that I realized she no longer able to touch Pokémon of any kind."

"We get it." said Ash, then turns back to the picture. "So, those people in the picture?"

"The missus and the young master." said Hobbes, then added. "The missus still resides elsewhere. Busy with her work."

"My brother doesn't live here either." said Lillie.

"Want to take my brother and the mouse instead?" asked Riley, pointing to her own brother. "I wouldn't mind if you kept him for the weekend, or even a month if you want."

"Riley!" Ash exclaimed.

"What? I wasn't planning on giving you away for good." said Riley, causing both Lillie and Hobbes to laugh. "Mom would be mad at me if I ever came home from Alola without you. I'm not stupid, Ash."

"Please excuse the intrusion." said a maid, opening the door.

"Huh?" said Rotom. The maid walks in with a cart, filled with snacks.

"I brought Roserade tea and a few snacks." she said.

"Cario." said Meeko.

"Here we go!" said Riley as her brother and Pikachu stared at the snacks.

"It's a mountain!" said Ash.

"Pikachu." exclaimed Pikachu.

"(Chuckles) You're welcome to have as much as you like." said Lillie.

"Thank you." said Riley, smiling.

"Thanks! We will!" said Ash.

"Pi. Pika." said Pikachu. "Pika. Pikachu." Riley and Meeko were sipping their tea as Ash and Pikachu scarfed down the snack.

"They do have hearty appetites." commented Hobbes.

"Yes. Nicely put." added Lillie.

"This is very tasty." said Riley, taking a bite of the small cake.

"Really?" asked Lillie and Hobbes.

"Yep." said Riley, handing Meeko one.

"Lucar! Lucar!" said Meeko, licking the crumbs off her mouth.

"You know, Miss Meeko reminds me of the young master's Umbreon." said Hobbes.

"Really?" asked Riley, then looks at Lillie. "Cool! I didn't know your brother has an Umbreon, Lillie." Lillie smiled as she laughed nervously.

"Hey, Lillie." said Ash, gaining her attention.

"Hm?"

"How about doing some practicing?" he asked.

"Do you mean what I think you mean?" she asked.

"Yeah. Let's practice touching Pokémon." answered Ash as Lillie starts to worry a bit.

Pushing the food cart towards Lillie, Ash had Pikachu stand right in the middle. "Oh!" Lillie said hesitantly.

"Don't worry." Ash said, encouragingly. "Pikachu isn't going to move a muscle! Come on, Lillie. Trust my buddy and pet Pikachu like there's no tomorrow."

"Okay." said Lillie, groaning as her hand reaches for Pikachu. Just as her hand reaches for Pikachu's head, Pikachu goes straight for her.

"Pikachu." said Pikachu, making contact with her hand. Everyone gasped, Lillie screams and starts sobbing.

"Miss Lillie, no." Hobbes called out.

"(Sighs) I told you not to move a muscle, remember?" Ash asked Pikachu.

"Pika?" Pikachu asked.

"Yep. But there was some miscommunication somewhere." Riley tells Pikachu.

"Lucario." said Meeko, taking a swipe at Pikachu's tail.

"Pikachu." Pikachu replied, grabbing his tail to keep it out of Meeko's reach.

"Okay, up next? Check it out!" shouted Ash, holding up his backpack and gets Rowlet out. Snoring away, Rowlet was placed on the food cart. "You see?" asked Ash. "Rowlet's sound asleep."

"Asleep. That's a good thing." said Lillie as she tries again when suddenly Rowlet wakes up for a moment, trilling as it caused Lillie to scream again. Rowlet then goes back to sleep on the food cart, snoring.

"Huh?" said Ash, Riley and Hobbes.

"Was it dreaming?" asked Ash and Riley.

"Pikachu! Lucario!" said Pikachu and Meeko with the latter's arms in the air.

"Fine! If this doesn't work, then nothing will! Rotom!" shouted Ash.

"You can count on me." said Rotom.

"Hm…I doubt it." said Riley.

"Now, see, Lillie? This isn't a Pokémon." said Ash. "Just a regular Pokedex!"

"Regular?" questioned Rotom.

"Right!" said Lillie. "It's just a Pokedex, that's all. Just a Pokedex."

"I am not regular." said Rotom, causing Lillie to scream and retreat. "I am a Rotom Dex."

"Now look what you did, Rotom." said Riley, glaring at the Pokedex who then backs away. "You scared her."

"Man, that didn't work either." said Ash. "Well, we won't give up, right?" Lillie turns to face Ash, a tear threatening to fall down her face.

"Right." she replied.

"Riley, why don't you try." said Ash.

"Okay, Ash." said Riley, bringing Meeko to the front of the cart. "Remember Meeko, let Lillie come to you first and don't make a sudden movement. We don't want her to be scared."

"Lucario." said Meeko, nodding and stretching her body out first before Lillie stands up.

"You ready, Lillie?" Riley asked her. "It's okay if you're not. There's no rush."

"Ready as I'll ever be." said a scared Lillie as she inches her way towards Meeko. As Lillie gets closer, Meeko doesn't move. Lillie made her way towards the food cart but retreats her hand before touching Meeko.

"Uh…" Lillie said softly.

"It's okay, Lillie." Meeko said, telepathically, tilting her head to the side. "I won't hurt you. I promise."

"Did you hear that?" asked Lillie, as she and Hobbes looked at the brother and sister.

"Remember what I said about Meeko when Ash and I were first introduced to the class?" Riley asked Lillie, who then nodded.

"Meeko learned how to do that when Riley and I were in another region." Ash explained.

"It was a Lucario who taught her, and she practiced a lot to make a connection." added Riley. "She doesn't do it often because she doesn't want others to feel uncomfortable around her."

"Really?" asked Hobbes and Riley nodded.

"Meeko was only a Riolu at the time, but the Lucario that we met knew that she was special." said Riley.

Feeling the confidence she needed and the assurance from Meeko, she places her hand on Meeko 's head. "I…I did it." said Lillie, smiling. "You have such a beautiful voice, Meeko. I would love to hear you sometimes."

"You got it, Lillie." said Meeko, smiling.

"Miss Lillie." said Hobbes with a small smile on his face.

"Thank goodness." sighed Ash.

"Pikachu." said Pikachu.

"Butterfree." said Butterfree, flying near the house.

"Hey, it's a Butterfree." said Ash.

"Pika." said Pikachu.

"Wow." said Riley.

"Lucario." said Meeko.

"Yeah. Every now and then, different wild Pokémon will come up to the balcony." Lillie tells them as she walks over to a dresser.

"Huh?"

"Let's see." said Lillie, opening the draw filled with Pokémon food. "There it is. (giggles)" Lillie pours out a certain amount of food onto a plate before setting it out on a balcony.

"Does that mean you have different Pokémon food for different Pokémon?" asked Ash.

"Sure. Pokémon have likes and dislikes, too." replied Lillie. "I simply give them the most appropriate amount of food."

Lillie sets down the bowl, taking a step back as Butterfree squeaks its thanks and starts eating. "Butterfree loves it!" Ash said, chuckling.

"Butterfree really likes that kind of food a lot." said Lillie.

"Yeah. Its chowing down like crazy!" said Ash.

"Like you and Pikachu whenever there's a mountain of food in front of the two of you." said Riley as Meeko giggles.

"Riley." said Ash, feeling embarrassed by her.

"Pika." said Pikachu.

"You know that Meeko and I love you two. We wouldn't trade you guys for the world." Riley said to her brother, hugging him.

"I know and I wouldn't trade you for anyone else." said Ash.

"We're stuck with you for life." said Meeko, wrapping her arms around Pikachu.

"Pikachu." said Pikachu.

"You're amazing, Lillie." said Ash and Riley.

"Thank you." Lillie replies with a smile. "I'm pretty sure the wild Pokémon are out in the garden by now."

"Wow, you think?" asked Ash.

"I can't wait to see." said Riley. Both siblings ran further on the balcony to see the wild Pokémon on Lillie's estate. "Look at all of them." Ash exclaims. Arriving at the house, Mallow rings the doorbell. "If it isn't Miss Mallow." said the housekeeper.

"May I come in, please?" she asked.

"Do!" the housekeeper replied. Out on the playground, the wild Pokémon were having fun and enjoying each other's company.

"So cool! Huh?" said Ash, looking up to see a battlefield on Lillie's property. "You've got a battlefield?"

"We're diligent with its upkeep, so it can be used at any time." said Hobbes.

"Anytime?" asked Ash as Lillie chuckles behind a smile.

"Both Ash and Riley love nothing more than a Pokémon battle." Lille said to Hobbes, then turns to the siblings. "Please, feel free to use it if you like."

"Go for it, Ash." said Riley.

"All right!" said Ash. "We're going to have a Pokémon battle!"

"Pika!" said Pikachu.

"But who will you battle against?" asked Rotom.

"You're right. I don't have an opponent." he said at the Pokedex.

"Pika." said Pikachu.

"He could always have a battle against me, Rotom." said Riley. "It's been a while since we had a brother and sister Pokémon battle, Ash."

"Wasn't our last battle a draw?" asked Ash.

"Yeah, I think so. Meeko got tired towards the end of the match." said Riley.

"Lucario." said Meeko, nodding.

"I think we can find somebody." said Lillie, looking over at Hobbes.

"Huh? Do you mean Hobbes?" asked Riley and Ash.

"Actually, Hobbes is one of the best battlers among the staff." Lillie tells them.

"Cool." said Riley, smiling.

"Wow! That's perfect." Ash exclaims. "I'd love to challenge you to a battle!"

"Pikachu!" said Pikachu.

"As you wish, young Ash." said Hobbes. "If someone like myself shall suffice, I will gladly battle you!"

"Awesome." said Ash. "Well, all right!" As Ash, Riley and Hobbes went down to the battlefield, Lillie stayed up on the balcony, watching from a distance.

"Just make sure you don't go easy on me!" Ash called out to Hobbes.

"And my request to you is that you do the same, Master Ash!" said Hobbes.

"Pikachu! Pika! Pika!" said Pikachu, getting pumped up and starts to go onto the battlefield when Ash calls him back.

"Sorry, buddy." said Ash, picking him up.

"Pika?" asked Pikachu.

"I wanted to give Rowlet a little battling time." Ash tells him.

"Pika? Pika?"

"But the next battle's yours."

"You can help me, Pikachu." said Riley.

"Pika-pik?" Pikachu asked her.

"That's a great idea, Riley." said Ash.

"Please, Pikachu?" Riley asked.

"Pika." said Pikachu, decline her offer.

"Ok, then. I'll act as the referee." said Riley.

"Does Riley know how do this?" asked Rotom. "I've never seen her be a referee before."

"Riley's got this, Rotom. She's had a lot of practice." said Ash.

"This is a one-on-one battle between Hobbes and the challenger, Ash!" said Riley in an official referee tone, with Meeko by her side. "The winner of this battle will be determined when the other trainer's Pokémon is unable to battle."

"Rowlet, I choose you!" said Ash.

"(Trills)" trilled Rowlet, peering out of Ash's backpack.

"So, you're going to use a Rowlet, then?" Hobbes asked, amused at his choice. "All right that means I'll be using this Pokémon!" Out of his Pokeball, was a yellow fluffy bird with pom-poms on its wings. "Oricorio." said the Pokémon.

"Such a cute Pokémon!" squealed Riley.

"I've never seen that Pokémon." said Ash.

"Pika."

"Lucario."

"That's my cue." said Rotom. "Oricorio, Pom-Pom style, the dancing Pokémon. An electric and flying type. It creates electricity by rubbing its pom-poms together. It dances as it approaches its opponents before attacking."

As Rotom explains, Oricorio rubbed its pom-poms as it danced over to Meeko and Pikachu before pecking Pikachu's backside. "Oh, boy! Pikachu!" said Riley, as she and Meeko chased after the two Pokémon.

"Oricorio, stop!" said Meeko.

"When it drinks special nectars found only in Alola, it can change its type." said Rotom.

"Change its type?" asked Ash.

"Yes." said Hobbes. "This Oricorio drank the special Yellow nectar from a species of flower only found here on Melemele Island."

"Oricorio's cool, all right!" said Ash. "Wow, Alolan Pokémon are so great!"

"They're awesome!" shouted Riley.

"Good luck on both sides." said Meeko.

"Let the battle begin!" said Riley.

"Rowlet! It's our first Pokémon battle, so let's do our best!" shouted Ash as Rowlet trills its reply. "Great! Rowlet, Leafage!"

"Revelation Dance!" shouted Hobbes as Rowlet releases its attack.

"Ori. Ori. Ori." said Oricorio, dodging Rowlet's Leafage and sends electricity through its pom-poms. Rowlet hoots in surprise and groaned when the electricity hit, knocking it to the ground. "Rowlet!" shouted Ash.

"Pika! Lucario!" shouted Pikachu and Meeko.

"The Pom-Pom Style Oricorio's Revelation Dance is strong!" said Rotom. "It uses electricity built up in its Pom-poms during its dance to attack." Groaning, Rowlet gets up from the ground.

"Rowlet? Can you go on?" asked Ash.

"Rowlet!" Rowlet trilled, letting Ash know that it can.

"Yes! Then you tackle!" shouted Ash.

"Use Mirror Move!" said Hobbes and Oricorio mimicking Tackle as well.

"Ori!" screeched Oricorio, making contact with Rowlet.

"No way!" said Ash.

"Pika!" said Pikachu.

"Rowlet was stopped. Mirror Move uses the same opponent's move on its opponent." said Rotom.

"And what do you plan to do next?" Hobbes asked, causing Riley and Meeko to snicker.

"Use Tackle again!" shouted Ash.

"Use Mirror Move!" shouted Hobbes. Both Oricorio and Rowlet went at it again, meeting the same result.

"That's what I thought." said Ash. "Mirror the Mirror Move now!"

"Go Ash!" cheered Riley.

"Cario! Cario!" cheered Meeko. Rowlet then hurls Oricorio back with all its might.

"What was that?" Hobbes asked as Oricorio drags its feet to a stop against the ground. "My stars! I've never seen a Mirror Move mirrored!"

"That's my brother for ya." Riley said to Hobbes. "He's always got something up his sleeve."

"Rowlet's legs are really, really strong!" said Ash as Rowlet trilled in agreement with both siblings.

"Hm. This young man's quite skilled." Hobbes said to himself as he looks over to Riley and Meeko. "I bet she's like her brother. Very well! I shall take the initiative! Use Revelation Dance!"

"Ori! Ori! Ori!" said Oricorio, dancing to build up electricity in its Pom-Poms.

"Don't let it build up electricity! Go!" Ash said to Rowlet, who takes to the sky and heads for Oricorio, using Peck.

"To the right!" Hobbes called out to Oricorio.

"Ori!" screeched Oricorio, dodging the attack from Rowlet and sends electricity.

"Behind you!" Ash shouted, as Rowlet looks over its shoulder and dodges the electric attack. "Great! Rowlet, you're the best!"

"Rowlet dodged it?" asked Hobbes, not believing what he was seeing. "I must say it's been ages since I've had such an enjoyable bout!"

"Thanks a lot!" said Ash. Back on the balcony, Lillie watched the intense battle that was going on. "Oh! I'd better check on the egg." said Lillie, heading into her room.

"As we sway like an ocean wave, use Teeter Dance!" said Hobbes as he and Oricorio move their arms like the ocean waves.

"Ori!" said Oricorio as pink energy came from its body towards Ash, Rowlet, Pikachu and Rotom, causing three out of four to feel dizzy.

"For some reason, I feel like I'm going to fall over." said Ash, swaying back and forth.

"Pikachu." said Pikachu.

"Teeter Dance uses the teetering to force its opponents into a dizzy and confused state." explained Rotom.

"Wow." said Riley.

"Oh, man. It sure does." said Ash. "Whatever you do, Rowlet, don't look at it." But Ash's warning came too late. Rowlet had already looked at Oricorio and was already yawning.

"It's too late for you!" said Hobbes. "Use Double Slap!"

Oricorio trills as the pom-poms glowed yellow and slaps Rowlet into the air. "No! Rowlet!" Ash cried out. As Rowlet falls back to earth, it hits something, or someone in the head.

Sitting on the ground, not far from Riley, was Mallow who groan and rubbed her head from the impact of Rowlet. "Mallow!" said Ash and Riley.

"Miss Mallow!" said Hobbes.

"Guess you found me." she replied.

"Huh?" asked Meeko, then starts checking her over. "Mallow?"

"I didn't see you sitting there, Mallow." said Riley.

"What about the restaurant?" Ash asked.

"Oh. I was worried about Lillie, so I finished my chores right away and when I got here, I heard battling." explained Mallow.

"Such loyalty to Miss Lillie." said Hobbes, sobbing for a moment.

"Well, you don't have to cry." said Mallow as Riley pats his arm. Suddenly, they heard Lillie screaming from her room.

"Huh?"

In her room, Lillie backs up towards the egg as the lizard stalks her. "No, please. Stay away." Lillie said to the Pokémon.

"Sala!" said the Pokémon, taking another step towards her as Lillie lets out another whimper. "Sal…."

"You can't have it!" screamed Lillie.

"Salan!" hissed the Pokémon and leaping towards Lillie.

"No!" screamed Lillie, placing her body around the egg, which then glowed an eerie light to her touch.

"Miss Lillie!" shouted Hobbes as he, Ash, Mallow and Riley burst into her room.

"Lillie!" shouted the siblings.

"Huh? Its Hobbes, Ash and Riley." said Lillie, relieved that they arrived.

"Salan." said the Pokémon, crouching in front of her, causing another scream.

"Who's that?" asked Ash.

"Salandit, the Toxic Lizard Pokémon, a Poison and Fire type." said Rotom. "Salandit live in volcanos and dry rocky places. They're very dangerous Pokémon that attack after releasing a sweet-smelling poisonous gas!"

"That's not allowed!" said Hobbes.

"Lillie!" said Mallow. Salandit leaps into the air, squawking.

"Pikachu, use Quick Attack!" shouted Ash.

"Pika!" said Pikachu as he quickly ran towards Salandit, hitting it in its head.

"Oricorio, use Teeter Dance!" said Hobbes.

"Ori! Ori!" said Oricorio, dancing as it confuses Salandit.

"I got this one, guys." said Riley, taking out a Pokeball.

"But Hayley…" said Rotom but it was too late.

"Pokeball, go!" shouted Riley, throwing it towards Salandit. The Pokeball hits Salandit on the head, sending it inside. Riley glares as the Pokeball wiggles side to side until it stops.

"I just caught a Salandit!" said Riley, picking up her Pokeball.

"Lucar!" said Meeko.

"Lillie, you all right?" asked Ash as he and the others ran over to her.

"I'm fine." said Lillie. "Mallow?"

"I came by because I was kind of worried." Mallow tells her, then looks at the egg in her arms. "But just look at you."

Lillie looks down to see that she had the egg. "The egg!" squealed Lillie. "I just wanted…to protect it." Just then, the egg wiggles in her arms and Lillie sighs, bringing it up to her face. "It's so warm." she added.

"Cari?" Meeko asked Riley, pointing to the egg. "Lucario, Cario?"

Riley smiled, nodding as Meeko rushes into her arms. "Lucario." Meeko sighs into her trainer.

"I know." said Riley, her eyes closed as she hugged Meeko. "You and Pikachu have grown since we were in Kanto."

"Good for you, Lillie." Ash said with pride in his voice.

"This is the most wonderful thing I've ever witnessed." sobbed Hobbes.

"Feels great huh?" asked Mallow as Pikachu scurries in close to Lillie.

"Yeah." answered Lillie.

"Pika. Pika." said Pikachu, causing Lillie to realize how close Pikachu was to her and lets out a sobbing scream.

"It looks like Lillie isn't quite over her fear yet." Mallow said to Pikachu.

"Pika?" asked a confused mouse.

"But you're able to touch Meeko and the egg. And that's what counts." said Ash, shocking Mallow. "I'm happy for you."

"I'm proud of you, Lillie." Mallow said, beaming.

"Thanks! I'm pretty happy about it too!" Lillie exclaimed.

"That's what I want to hear!" said Mallow. "Caring for the egg is the perfect job for you."

"Right!" said Lillie in agreement. "I thank Meeko for at least letting me touch her head."

In the background, Rotom was giving Riley a lecture about Salandit. "I can't believe you caught a dangerous Pokémon!" Rotom said sternly, causing Riley to growl and tap her foot.

"Rotom, would you give it a rest?" asked Ash. "She already caught it."

"Yeah, would you give it a rest already. Besides, Rotom….." said Riley with a glint in her eye. "I've already got big plans for this Salandit."

"Pika. Pika." said Pikachu, pointing to the look on her face.

"I know that look." said Ash, smiling from ear to ear. "It's time for Riley's Pokémon boot camp, isn't it?"

"Yep, and I can't wait to start." she replied.

"All right!" shouted Ash.

"Riley's Pokémon boot camp?" asked Lillie and Mallow.

"Patent pending, of course." said Ash.

"Pik-Pikachu." said Pikachu.

"You two are going to love this." Riley said to Lillie and Mallow. "It's how I deal with stubborn Pokémon or if certain Pokémon don't want to listen."

Narrator: In the midst of an unexpected challenge, Lillie has taken a very big first step in getting rid of her fear of touching Pokémon.

Riley: I agree.

Narrator: I know that Meeko will be a big help.

Meeko, nodding: Lucario.

Riley: It's going to be one day at a time for Lillie. In the meantime, I'm going to deal with my Salandit.

Narrator: Be careful, Riley.

Riley: I will. I have Meeko and Pikachu to help me out. I mean…what's the worst thing that can happen to me?

Narrator: Of course, everyone can't help but wonder what will hatch from that egg, as the journey continues.
