AN: If I write an Elden Ring x Youjo Senki where Tanya is Rykard's daughter, then she'd probably have snake abilities. It'd be a slice of life with Tanya interacting with other characters until the Shattering.
Mike looked fearfully above at the Xenomorph Queen looking down upon him.
"What do you want to want to talk about?"
Tanya checked her claws. She wanted to look classy in front of everyone. That way they would lower their guard. Though it seemed to make them only more wary of her.
"Before we talk, why don't you tell me your name."
"Mike Zane."
"Mike Zane, the name's Angel."
Everyone looked at the Xenomorph Queen strangely. Angel did not seem to be a fitting name for the Xenomorph in front of them. Devil would be more fitting.
"You all have that look Captain Ceri had when I told her my name."
Mike broke out of his thoughts. He wondered what happened to Captain Ceri. Where was she?
"Where's Captain Ceri."
The Xenomorph Queen seemed to grin. It sent a chill down everyone's spine.
"Oh, she's back in my lair doing stuff for me."
"You talk like you're human."
"Thank you, I try quite hard to imitate you. Would you like to hear me..."
Tanya changed her voice from a soothing lady to a child.
"...Speak differently."
Jaws fell upon hearing the voice change. It was strange and unnerving. The Xenomorph Angel became more of an enigma. Suddenly, Mike realized something, the Xenomorph had made him view it as if it were human. It was a level of psychological manipulation he'd never felt before. He became more wary of the monster before him.
"Your original one was fine."
Tanya changed her voice back to that of a soothing lady.
"I thought so too, no one's going to treat me seriously if I speak like a child."
"Shall we get back to the topic?"
"Ah yes, I was here to tell you all some things. As you all know, I'm quite scary and dangerous, aren't I?"
"You are, my body's all tense right now."
"Wonderful, then you should know, those Yautjas as you call them, they're out for my life. They want to hunt me down and turn me into a trophy. They'll never let any of you leave as long as I'm alive. Heck, I'm not sure they'll even keep you alive when I'm dead. Who knows what they have in plan for you."
Mike knew he shouldn't but his emotions took over. The Yautja that helped them fight off the synths was better than this monster any day.
"Why should we trust you when one of them helped us fight off the synths that you and Captain Ceri forced on us?"
Tanya placed a finger to her chin. Everyone around stiffened. The air became tense.
"Hmmm, I do wonder. Who was it that shot you down? Who was it that brought you onto this planet to be killed? I surely do wonder."
"That!!!"
Mike felt lost for words. He couldn't think of anything. Gail stood up and shouted.
"At least they're more human than you. I'd trust them any day over you!"
A silence quickly formed. Everyone held their breath. What Gail did was very provoking. The Xenomorph proceeded to burst into laughter. It was a horrifying laughter that made everyone tighten their hands on their weapon.
"Very well then! It was nice meeting every one of you. Be afraid, tremble in front of darkness, I'll be watching you all from the East where my territory lies."
With those words, everyone watched as the Xenomorph turned invisible. Footsteps sounded as they watched it disappear into the forest until there was no sound left. Mike took a deep breath.
"Everyone, let's gather ourselves!"
In the forest, Tanya curled up and rolled. Rolling was quite fun. She rolled until she was at the entrance of her cavern. Her metallic mesoskeleton shined under the night sky. She looked at the dark trees surrounding the cavern.
"I know you're there sitting on top of that rock. Tomorrow, I'll kill you if you're still on this island."
With those words, Tanya entered her lair. She went into her nest and found Ceri standing and staring at her. There was no fear on the woman's face.
"Where were you?"
"Oh? I didn't know you could use a tone like that."
"Do you care I'm using it?"
"Not at all, I find it quite cute."
Ceri felt lost for words. How could a Xenomorph find something cute? Clearly, Angel was somehow perfectly imitating a brazen women.
"You haven't given me an answer."
"By the beach relaxing."
It was an answer Ceri didn't believe but Tanya didn't care. Although Tanya didn't need to relax and sleep as a Xenomorph, she still wanted to in order to feel human. Nothing was more enjoyable than wasted time during the war.
Up in the night sky, Jang detected human activity on a giant island. He closed in on the island and quickly found the wreckage of Captain Ceri's fallen ship. He also found a settlement of survivors. Something was strange, very strange.
Jang decided to see if he could send a transmission out of the planet. It didn't work, was it because of the planet's atmosphere? Suddenly, a Yautja ship revealed itself from above him. Immediately, he knew why Captain Ceri's ship had crashed. So would his ship if he didn't fly down. So fly down he did.
Flying down close to the settlement, he landed and exited. People from the settlement came and greeted him. They all seemed to know what had happened to him.
"The name's Mike, welcome to our humble settlement, what's your name?"
"The name's Jang. Could you please tell me what happened?"
Mike gave a nod.
"It's a long story so you might want to sit down for it."
A plasma bolt came down from the sky and blew Jang's ship up.
"Fuck!"
Jang and Mike cursed.
