Shortly after Van attacked the school, Marinette and Adrien were running to her place.
"What's the plan, my lady?" asked Adrien.
"Keeping the rest of the Kwamis away from him, I can only imagine the chaos that he will be able to cause with them!" said Marinette as they reached the bakery.
"Hey you two, what are…?" asked Sabine before her daughter cut her off.
"Can't talk right now!" said Marinette as she and Adrien headed upstairs. Once in her room, the two found the Kwamis flying around the room.
"You all have to get back into the Miraculous Box, now!" said Marinette while getting it from the dollhouse where it was hidden.
"Why, what happened?" asked Roar.
"And where are Tikki and Plagg?" asked Orikko while looking around.
"A guy named Van has returned and taken the two of them using a thing called a Calamity," said Adrien.
"What?!" asked all the Kwamis at once.
"He said that I'm back, everyone, have you missed me?" asked Van while walking out from behind a room divider that Marinette had set up in a corner.
"How did you get in here?!" asked Marinette.
"Same way I did at your school, I have ways; also thanks for leading me here to the rest of them," said Van. He then called out for Wayzz, Trixx, Pollen, Stomp, Fluff, Long, Kaalki, and Ziggy to Weaponize.
"No!" yelled Marinette as a bright light poured from Van.
"These were the only Calamities I could find over all this time," said Van while the light began to fade.
"But these last several thousand years have been worth it to have this power again," he said while appearing in a new outfit that had a mixture of themes thanks to all of the Kwamis that he had taken.
"Just how strong does this make him?" asked Adrien.
"I don't know, but I'm terrified to find out," said Marinette, who was beyond pale from fear.
