On Demonic Kissing and Beyond

One thing that surprised Iruma, though it probably shouldn't have, was that demons didn't really kiss their partners all that much. They hugged, and nuzzled, and petted and caressed each other, but there was never much kissing to be seen.

And Iruma had plenty of opportunities to see how demons behaved with their loved ones… or at the very least the one (or ones) they were lusting after. As soon as you stepped foot anywhere outside the school (because apparently there were rules against that kind of stuff in school grounds), you could see couples (or throuples, or quads…) nearly everywhere you looked. Lust was not, after all, seen as a sin. It was actively encouraged to follow your passions as a demon, wherever that may take you, and most adult demons were not shy about public displays of affection.

Iruma had unwillingly witnessed more than his fair share of said displays, but kissing did not seem to feature overmuch. The few kisses he did manage to catch were always brief and close-lipped. Most were not even on the mouth.

When he found himself in a relationship he finally understood why and he felt very dim indeed for not realizing it sooner on his own.

The first time he tried to kiss Azz open-mouthed, Azz had drawn almost violently back.

"Iruma-sama! That's dangerous!"

"Eh?"

As Azz covered his own mouth with both hands like something might crawl out and threaten to destroy the world, Iruma took a moment to finally think about it.

Fangs.

Most demons had very sharp teeth and fangs and those who didn't, had beaks or snouts, if they had mouths at all.

French kissing would not feel pleasant under those conditions.

But the idea didn't leave Iruma's head. It became a bit of an obsession. If kissing open-mouthed was out of the question, did that mean that demons didn't involve their mouths in… any other kind of intimate activity?

By the time Iruma and Azz finally started having sex, Azz had already found out about Iruma being a human, so it was safe to ask.

The answer: Why would anyone even want to?

That was, possibly, the wrong thing to say. You see, if there was one thing that got Iruma excited these days, it was a challenge.

Iruma didn't have any first-hand experience on the subject, but, no matter what he had told Lied-kun, he had actually read those dirty magazines before feeding them to his bonfire. Had studied them very carefully, in fact. And some of them had had very detailed, very interesting articles and how-to's.

It was about time Iruma put some of that theoretical knowledge to practice.

Getting a moment alone with Azz was surprisingly hard to achieve, because everyone suddenly seemed to have something to say about them being a couple, and Azz tended to be a bit overprotective (of the incendiary kind) since finding out Iruma was a human. The next time they managed it, though, Iruma set about showing Azz why anyone would want to involve their mouths in those activities. Enthusiastically. Several times.

Practice makes perfect, after all... and they made spells that helped with the soreness of an overworked jaw.

After that very memorable occasion, Azz added to his frequent and exuberant litany of Iruma praises several creative and highly complimentary odes to Iruma's beautiful, wonderful, perfect, not-sharp-at-all teeth.

Iruma was insufferably smug for a week.

He probably would have been smug longer, but Azz got it in his head that he should find a way to reciprocate the attentions, and if there was one thing that a demon user of magic had in abundance it was imagination.

So, during one lunch hour they had managed to sneak away to the deserted and out-of-the-way training grounds behind the school and, after setting a very ingenious couple of spells that would warn them if anyone were to approach, Azz proceeded to show Iruma that he had very much gotten over his prejudices and had figured out quite a few different things that he could do with his mouth that didn't involve very sharp fangs.

And to his credit, it did go well... until Azz accidentally ended up swallowing some of Iruma's… essence, so to speak.

As it turns out, human blood is not the only bodily fluid that can have drastic and powerful effects when consumed by a demon.

Ari-san whined for a month afterwards that he was being severely misused. After all, it was mighty rude to make him abruptly swallow an entire magical firestorm because the pretty boy had not thought to spit.

There is a companion piece for this silly little thing in the works. I've tentatively named it Kalego Doesn't get Paid Enough to Deal with this Shit. XD
