Adrien literally skipped down the path at the apple orchard, holding a wicker basket. "Picking apples for M'lady," he sang.

Plagg, who had been snoozing in said basket, flew out with a cranky look. "Look, all you need is a red cloak to be Little Red Riding Hood. Stop swinging the basket!"

"But you don't understand, Plagg! If I surprise M'lady with a basket full of apples we can make an apple pie together!" "And what comes next, a hamster!"

Just then, Adrien rid a rustle in the tree above him. "Boo!" Ladybug swung down in Spider-Man like pose, right in front of Adrien. "Ladybug!" Adrien gasped. "Surprised to see me?" she grinned, vaulting down next to him.

"Um, I came here to pick a basket full of apples, thinking you and I could make pie…." his voice trailed off. "Who do you think I am, the Big Bad Wolf? I'd love to!"

"Marry me," Adrien sighed dreamily. "What was that?" Ladybug whipped around, pigtails swinging. "Oh, nothing." Ladybug giggled, taking his hand. "I like to skip too."

So, off they went, and had a marvelous time picking apples, even when Adrien shrieked when a worm came out of its wormhole.

They took the apples to the Dupain-Cheng bakery which they were welcomed with open arms. "I'll roll the pastry dough, while you chop," Ladybug told him.

After a bump into a flour bag on the way to the oven to put the pies in, Adrien and Ladybug got a major case of the sillies as they turned white with flour. "Come on, let's clean up."

Adrien sighed happily as Ladybug wiped him down with a wet cloth, her eyes sparkling. "I don't know when I've had such a fun time," Adrien told her as she drew the pie out of the oven, and set it to the side to cool.

Ladybug walked over. "I only ever have fun like this with Cat," she held his gently. "Thanks for a fun apple day, Adrien."

"I'm just glad your the not the Big Bad Wolf, Little Bug."

As Adrien lay in bed that night, smelling of apples, he knew he would never forget this day where he went picking apples for M'lady, and ate pie with her later in the day.
