"Marinette, I didn't polish your nails for nothing last night! Calm down!" Alya said.
Marinette quickly retracted her nails from her mouth. "Sorry, I'm just nervous." She and Alya had a sleepover last night where they had painted each other's nails, and Marinette had finished their Spooky Season sweaters.
They were meeting the boys for coffee this morning, and of course Marinette was nervous. "I mean, think of your pajamas date, and Adrien still loves you, right?" Marinette sighed happily. "Can you believe it, Alya? He changed, just for me!" Alya giggled and gave her friend a nudge. "Girl, with you I can believe it. Oh, here come the boys!"
"Hey, girls!" Adrien waved, Nino trailing along side of him. "Whoa, where did you get those awesome sweaters?" "Marinette made them," Alya told him, proudly. "And yes, there in stock at her small store."
"Dude, nice bones!" Nino exclaimed. Marinette's sweater resembled and black and orange pumpkin, while Alya was a skeleton. "That would cool for the Halloween party as I'm the DJ next weekend."
"Shall we?" Adrien asked, and the group headed inside. "So, Marinette?" Adrien begin casually, holding her hand. "Do you do custom orders?" "It will cost you a little extra, but yeah." "So, I'm buying your coffee?" Marinette laughed. "Love, your buying anyway." "I just want a sweater with a black cat on it. Black cats are cute, you know?"
"Cat Noir's cute," The words slipped out before she stop them. Sure, she was dating Adrien, but there was something just so charm-meowing about her partner. Wait, that could be a caption!
"Earth to Marinette!" "Right, sorry! One sweater with one black cat, coming up!"
As they chatted in the sun-warmed booth over fall drinks, Marinette kept catching Adrien's eye. At times, he reminded her of Cat, and she decided right then, that not only Adrien get a sweater, but Cat would get one too.
