In Class 1-A's dormitory...
It was finally a brand new day. Midoriya woke up feeling surprisingly refreshed and ready for a good day today. He looked at his desk and remembered how good it felt use that spell book awhile ago. It had only been a few days since he found it, but something being in the spell book felt like months. He was a little thrown off, but knew that he would be able to settle down soon enough. He got up, feeling like he could finally get ready to have a decent day.
As he got dressed, he heard his phone vibrate on his nightstand. He picked it up and saw that it was Iida. He opened the text, and he completely forgot about one more thing.
They had to get rid of the spell book.
Midoriya couldn't even believe that Iida was willing to keep it with him overnight. He just hoped that the spell book didn't try to pull anything weird or magical. For he knew, it could try to take his quirk again. He let out a sigh and sent him a text that he was on his way down. It had been a week since they found the shop, so now was a good time to get rid of the spell book. It was even a Sunday, so Midoriya got dressed in his regular clothes.
Once he got ready, Midoriya grabbed his backpack and headed down to the common room. He hadn't really talked to Uraraka much since last night. He knew that she needed some rest, so he decided to let her sleep in. She deserved to get a bit of sleep after what happened.
Soon enough, Midoriya got off the elevator and found Iida with his school bag. He looked at it and knew what in it. Everyone either doing homework, having breakfast or playing games on the coffee table. He noticed that Uraraka wasn't here, so he was at least glad that she was getting some well needed rest.
"So, what do you want to do with the spell book and wand?" Midoriya asked him.
"I don't exactly know," Iida told him, "I thought that maybe we could bring them back to Tachibana since he is familar with Mr. Amasawa's spells and charms. I wanted to burn it, but something about that didn't feel right."
Midoriya noticed Iida holding his school bag pretty tightly. He couldn't blame considering what they just went through. He understood why he wouldn't want to do anything like that. Something burning it didn't feel right.
"Yeah. Let's go to Tachibana's shop," Midoriya said to him, "Do you think Mr. Aizawa is going to let us go with him?"
Before they knew it, Mr. Aizawa was right behind them with a cup of coffee. Since it was a Sunday, he looked about ready to rest for a little while. He looked at them like they might do something stupid or cause some weird trouble just like last time.
"Where do you think you're going you two?" Mr. Aizawa asked them with a stern glare.
"M-Mr. Aizawa! S-Sorry! I didn't see you there!" Iida cried out a little too loudly.
"I'm sorry Mr. Aizawa, but we really need to get rid of this spell book," Midoriya said back, "We think we know how to do that, but we need to leave the campus. Can't you just let us do this? Just this once? It's important."
"If we don't, it happen to Midoriya again," Iida said to him, "Then the place would be flooding with water all over again. It was such a pain to clean up."
Midoriya blushed about that incident and looked away remembering how crazy that whole mess was. He wouldn't have known that his quirk could do that to a sorcerer type quirk. He looked back up at Mr. Aizawa, and he noticed him rubbing his nose like he had a massive headache. Something about it seemed like Iida had gotten through to him.
"Fine. Just go before I change my mind," Mr. Aizawa growled at them, "Be back by noon."
"Yes sir!" Iida said back as he bowed to him respectively.
Iida and Midoriya left before he could say anything else. They ran away, making sure Mr. Aizawa wouldn't go after them. Once they got to the front gate, they finally relaxed for a moment.
"You don't think that Mr. Aizawa would come after us? I mean, I wasn't suppose to leave since he gave me chores for two weeks," Midoriya told him.
"Let's not think about that at the moment. We really need to make sure that this is never around you or anyone else ever again," Iida told him as he patted his school bag.
Midoriya nodded with determination, and they left the campus. It took them a while to get there, but they soon were glad to see the shop still there. Unlike last time Midoriya found it, Iida was glad that the business card got the shop back open. They headed over there, and Midoriya noticed that Iida looked less tense about this place. Something about him seemed more open to magic and other things that were weird and unexpecting.
Midoriya couldn't but help at him as they walked over there.
"You seem less weirded out by the shop," Midoriya pointed out, "Is there a reason for that?"
Iida looked at Midoriya and felt like he could finally relax. He smiled, and Midoriya didn't seem to have any idea what happened between him and Tachibana.
"Not really. Me and Tachibana just seemed to understand one another better is all," Iida explained to him, "He just needed a bit of boost, you know? His shop isn't doing so good, so I told him that I would help him reorganize it."
Midoriya's eyes widened in shock, and he definitely didn't expect that. He knew that something must've happened, but nothing like that. He smiled, glad that he could finally enjoy his time with someone like him. He could tell that something between them seemed much more relatable than Iida orginally thought. Midoriya felt so happy for him that he found someone to help out.
They entered the shop and the bell rang to alert Tachibana. This time however, he didn't appear out of no where. He had a customer that looked somewhat out of place. They both froze in place, shocked to see the way they were dressed. They looked like they were going to a costume party or something. His jacket was bright red and long and had long, black hair. He even wore a hat that looked like...
A pirate?!
Midoriya and Iida froze in place and shared a look. They didn't know if this was even related to Sakura or not, but still. It couldn't be coincidence.
"Thank you my good sir," The pirate told him, "I've been looking for something like this for a long time. No other place that I looked around London had this. I swear that this place seems different than usual."
"You're very welcome sir. You are free to come back anytime," Tachibana told him, "This place is connected to anything that you think of. Whoever needs magical help, I'll be there."
Something about the guy gave Midoriya a bit of intimidation as he spoke. Midoriya spotted what he was holding, and it looked like something that hooked up to his hand. He had it in his hand and screwed it on tightly. Midoriya's eyes widened in shock when he realized that Sakura pretended to be him with a hook for a hand at one point. Even Iida noticed and didn't move as he screwed it on tighter. He looked satisfied with his purchase. Something about the golden hook felt magical with crystals all along the sides of it.
"This looks promising. Now I can get rid of that blasted Peter Pan with this once and for all," The pirate said to Tachibana.
"Peter Pan?" Midoriya questioned.
The pirate heard them talking and spotted them in the corner of the shop. Midoriya and Iida flinched, ready to take off. He smiled, looking rather amused to find two customers inside of the shop with him. He walked up to them as if he were examining the both of them. Midoriya didn't dare move as he got close to him with his hook.
"You two... You didn't happen to hear anything that I just mentioned, right?" The pirate asked them.
"N-No sir. W-We're here to bring something back is all," Iida explained to him with a nervous tone in his voice.
Midoriya didn't say anything, which made the pirate more interested in him. He stared daggers at him and showed off his hook.
"You better not be lying, or I'll capture you and walk you off the plank myself," The pirate warned them.
Midoriya was too nervous to say anything and couldn't even believe what he was witnessing.
"N-No sir. We're not lying," Midoriya said through his nervousness.
The pirate glared at them and was about to leave when he accidentally bumped into Iida's school bag. The spell book and wand fell out of it, intriguing the pirate. It opened to the first page that had Midoriya's name on it. Midoriya noticed the way he looked at them, but then he didn't even dare to take it from them. He just up and left them alone with Tachibana.
Iida grabbed the spell book and wand, worried that he might take it. Midoriya really wished that he did, then he wouldn't have to deal with it ever again. He let out a sigh, still shocked that he just ran into a pirate of all things. He just hoped that Sakura was doing okay.
"Hey Tachibana," Iida said to him with a curious tone, "Who was that just now?"
"He looked like a pirate, but that can't be true, right?" Midoriya asked a little nervously.
Tachibana didn't answer right away, almost confirming their suspicions.
"This shop... is able to charm it into going anywhere to anyone that needs magical help," Tachibana told them, "I was the one that charmed this shop. Between you and me, I don't even have a quirk."
"Wait, you're quirkless?" Midoriya pointed out, "B-But... you have magical powers."
"Exactly. I have magical powers. They're nothing like quirks," Tachibana explained to them, "You see, this shop can help anyone in magical need of help. Having a quirk is just a cover up."
Iida and Midoriya were shocked to hear this. They didn't even understand how this was even a thing.
"So, that really was a pirate? From Neverland?!" Midoriya asked him.
"What's that? Never heard of it. I just help anyone who needs it," Tachibana said back, "I would avoid Captain Hook if were you though. He can be a bit ambitious when it comes to this Peter Pan fellow."
Midoriya and Iida shared a look, but tried to shake it off. Whoever this Peter Pan was, they knew that it wasn't anything to get riled up about.
"Tachibana. We were able to get Mr. Amasawa back in the spell book," Iida explained to him as he handed him the book, "This wand helped a lot. Thank you for your help."
Tachibana took the spell book from him, looking a little sad that it came to this. Midoriya noticed him frowning, and then Tachibana looked at him.
"I see that you're back to normal. I'm just glad that you're okay," Tachibana said to him, "Nothing feels weird or out of the ordinary?"
Midoriya thought about it for a moment and looked down at his hand. Ever since he got back to normal, he hasn't been feeling anything weird or magical. If anything, it felt as though Mr. Amasawa didn't do anything to him.
"No sir. Nothing," Midoriya said back to him, "Thank you for helping me and Ochaco. If it weren't you I'd still be stuck in the spell book."
"Of course my boy. That's what sorcerers do," Tachibana told him, "Help anyone with magical problems. I've helped many who come here for help. Even a mermaid one time. She was looking for a way to go from mermaid to human much easier, believe it or not."
Iida and Midoriya's eyes widened in shock, hearing such crazy things. They didn't even know to think about this shop at this point.
"So, can you do something about this spell book?" Iida asked him, "It might come after my friends again. I'd rather it be here with you."
Tachibana held the spell book, and they noticed that it wasn't glowing or even moving around. It seemed to as if it was sleeping or recharging. Midoriya was worried that it might come after him again, so he would rather have him take it.
"It seems that you're right," Tachibana told him, "Mr. Amasawa is a pretty strong sorcerer. I'd say without my teachings, he wouldn't have done any of this."
Iida and Midoriya shared a look and were worried about him. They wanted to help him out with the shop, especially Iida. Ever since Tachibana helped Iida, he's been feeling a lot less tense around this place. Something about it seemed less ominous and more light.
"Maybe we can stay and help organize your shop," Iida said to him, "Besides, I did that I would help out."
Tachibana smiled at Iida, and Midoriya was surprised that he was okay with staying a little while longer. Midoriya couldn't help but smile and as Tachibana grabbed some sort of box. It looked like it had a clear lid and dark wood that Tachibana put the spell book inside. He locked it up and grabbed the wand that he gave Iida. He cast some sort of spell on it and golden sparks came out of it. It surrounded the box with a magical barrier, and Midoriya figured that it was so that the spell book couldn't get out of it.
"There. Now the spell book won't come after anyone," Tachibana told them, "Although, I can't get rid of your name on the spell book. Mr. Amasawa must've used a pretty strong spell on the book itself. It's not something that can be wiped off so easily, so technically it's still yours to keep."
Midoriya looked at the spell book and worried that it might come out of the case. He knew however that Tachibana was just as strong as him, he was his teacher after all.
"That's alright. As long as it's locked up and away from me," Midoriya told him.
Tachibana looked at the wand and noticed that Iida kept glancing at it. He smiled and handed it to him.
"Here. This is yours to keep," Tachibana said to him.
Iida hesitated, but was also shocked that he would even consider giving it back to him.
"N-No sir! I can't take this away from you! It's yours," Iida told him, "Besides, I can't use it without a spell or charm."
"Think of it as a souvenir for helping your friends. Besides, it's just going to sit here collecting dust," Tachibana said back with a smile, "I've got my own wand and everything. It'd nice to know that the wand is in good hands."
Iida shared a look with Midoriya, and he looked happy to have a little something after what happened. Iida then took the wand and felt something about it feel different. It felt like there was magic inside of it.
Tachibana smiled, knowing full well that these two might need it again very soon.
"Now... Let's get started on cleaning up."
