The sound of coins falling on the floor mixed with the loud voices of the people and the music.

Judging by the suspicious looks that everyone was giving him, he could tell that none of them knew what was going on.

He had come here after looking for anything that could help him live, he just needed enough money to pay for one test if he could pass just one test then he could finally leave this hell.

The sound of heavy footsteps made him look up and for a moment he felt his heart stop.

The group that entered was made of men who were all wearing knight armor and on their waists were swords, not needles or hooks but swords.

These men were players, things from somewhere.

He knew about them because of the stories that he heard from others, while he had never seen or met one before he now knew that the stories were true.

They looked like people or better said they looked like Humans but their presence felt strange, it was as if they were a part of the tower but at the same time they were completely separated from it.

"Ladies and gentlemen. We appreciate you coming here." one of the Players says to them, if the man felt the tension in the room he didn't show it.

"I'll get straight to the point," he says them.

The men behind the player lift the man's white cape and show everyone the back coffin that has the image of a mouth that looks as if it is laughing at all of them.

"This is our Guild, this is our emblem."

"If you choose to take this job you will work for us and while we can't pay you in points we can pay you in gold."

Everyone in the room looked at each other, while gold was valuable and people could use it to pay for things, unfortunately, no one could use it to pay for the test that would let them pass to the next floor.

"If that's not enough, for those of you that want to go to the next floor we offer you the location of a teleporter that will take you to the next floor."

"No test needed, all that you have to do is help us finish this job, and you can go up." The Player says to everyone.

"What's the catch?" someone behind him shouted, it took everything he had not to turn and look at who asked the question.

"No catch. A job is a job, and a deal is a deal." the PLayer says to everyone.

"So what's the job?" he somehow asks the Player, while his words were clear, he didn't know how he kept himself from stuttering.

"Four crates, three are decoys and one is real."

"Each one is going in a different direction but they are all headed to the first floor." The player answers him but his eyes are on everyone else.

"Are you crazy!" a woman shouted.

"The First floor is ruled by the Players no Regullar or Ranker has ever made it there not even the Princesses or heads of the Ten Families ever made it there!" the same woman shouted at the Player who smirked at the woman's words.

"All that I ask of you is your trust, If you can give me that then.' the player turns to look at the men behind him.

'Then all of you will be given something that no other person in this tower has gotten until now."

He felt a chill run down his spine as the men behind the player held what looked like blue and red crystals.

"If the answer is yes, then step forward."

"If it's no then, leave and take your chances out there." the player says to them while knowing that everyone here had run out of options, and it was out of desperation that they had even come here.

For a moment no one moved but that moment passed faster than it should have and before he knew it he was one step closer to the player and his men.

The crystals that the men held began to glow he closed his eyes to shield himself from whatever was about to happen but he felt nothing except for the wind on his face.

The wind there was no wind on this floor, he opened his eyes and found that he was somewhere he shouldn't have been.

He looked around and found a massive beast sitting on what looked like a throne its eyes were locked on him and everyone around him.

"They're with us." The player says to the beast who nods and turns his attention to the green field in front of him.

"Where are we?" he hears someone ask, the person's question is followed by several others each question was asked by a different person.

"Ladies and gentlemen welcome to the first floor."

"You are now Regulars and Players." Everyone looks at the Player and his team as they walk past them and lead them to a town that no one had seen before despite it being so large.

"Only Players can use the teleporters, so if you want to go up with no one stopping you you have to become players first." the man says to them.
