"I'm done trying to help you!" Kristina Davis threw her hands up, throwing the metal meal tray across Greystone. Kristina had spent months trying to take care of her father ever since he'd gotten shot in the back. Sonny had given up on everything and Kristina was tired of it.

"Kristina, don't leave." Sonny sighed, his voice sounded so far away.

"What do you care? You've given up on life! Don't you care about knowing Avery and Donna? They still need their father! I still need my father! You don't care about that, do you? Ugh, I'm leaving." Kristina grabbed her purse off the table and slammed the door behind her.

"Max and Milo can help your grumpy ass, I've had enough." Kristina mutters under her breath, speeding off in her car.

"I need an iced coffee before I crash." Kristina decided, parking in the Kelly's parking lot and going inside.

"You should eat something or you'll definitely crash." Came a voice behind her, a voice she hadn't heard in years.

"ETHAN???" Kristina gasped loudly, twirling around to see if she was dreaming. Standing in all his rugged glory, Ethan was smirking at her. As usual.

"Krissy." Ethan smiled at her.

"What the hell? What are you doing here?" Kristina threw her arms around him.

"I heard my sister and Dante had a son, figured I'd see the little tike. God, my sister is actually a mom. Where has the time gone?" Ethan groaned, hugging Kristina back.

"Rocco is such a little cutie, you're gonna love him. Do you have a minute?" Kristina led him over to an empty table.

"Only if you eat something." Ethan smirked at her.

"Oh alright, order me something." Kristina playfully rolled her eyes, she had to admit she was hungry.

"What's got you so worked up?" Ethan asked after he ordered them both something.

"Who else but my father?" Kristina rolled her eyes.

"I heard about him being paralyzed. I'm sorry." Ethan says.

"Are you?" Kristina arched an eyebrow.

"Of course I am, I know how much Sonny means to you. My personal feelings for Sonny have nothing to do with me caring about you. I'm a little offended that you would think otherwise." Ethan glanced at her.

"I'm sorry, it's just a lot. Ever since Dad got out of the hospital I basically uprooted my life and moved into Greystone to help take care of him. It's like he doesn't care. I never thought I'd see the day that Sonny Corinthos would give up. I don't know how to get him to see the light." Kristina vented as their food arrived.

"Sonny's always been an active person and now he's confined to a wheelchair. That would take a toll on anyone. You've got to remember he has bipolar disorder too, he's not just struggling physically. I know it's hard on you but, you've gotta see it from that point of view." Ethan took a bite of his burger.

"Crap, I completely forgot about his bipolar. You're right, I've been so focused on myself that I didn't think about how he's coping. I can't just give up on him." Kristina nods, she felt like crap.

"Kristina, you're only human. I remember feeling this way when Luke was a raging alcoholic but our parents need us." Ethan didn't want Kristina to feel bad.

"I guess I am my father's daughter, temper and all. Thank you Ethan, I really needed someone to talk some sense into me." Kristina gave him a grateful smile.

"That's what I'm here for, isn't it? I'm going to be in town for a few weeks, we should hang out some." Ethan smiled, finishing his meal.

"Of course, I have to take advantage of anytime you're in town. I'll call you. I hate to cut this short but, I've gotta go check on dad." Kristina got up from her seat, adjusting her purse into her shoulder.

"I'll see you soon." Ethan smirked as Kristina left and drove back to Greystone. When she entered her father's study she saw Sonny trying to pick up the metal food tray.

"Don't do that, I'll get it." Kristina immediately felt guilty, picking up the trey and setting it on the table.

"I haven't made it easy on any of you, I'm sorry. I'm going to try harder. I don't want to let you down." It was evident that Sonny had been crying.

"Dad, you've never let your family down. We love you anyway. I'm sorry, I shouldn't have gone off on you." Kristina sighed, now she really felt like crap.

"No, it's what I needed. You really are my daughter." Sonny softly chuckled.

"There's no denying that Corinthos temper, huh?" Kristina laughed.

"I love you, Kristina. I know that you didn't have to move in and look after me, thank you." Sonny became serious.

"I love you too, dad. You've always taken care of me, it's my turn to return the favor."
