After getting the message from the Martez sisters, and after getting some well-deserved rest, the Protectors thought that maybe they should figure out about this rogue squadron of Clones. They took the Stellar Sentinel and made their way to Ord Mantell City.

They made their way and parked one of the separate ships, not wanting to park the entire Stellar Sentinel on the ground of this planet. And the separate ships they even finally give names to Guardian and Defender. It was a little hard to tell the two of them apart at first.

But the Guardian is characterized by its blue-orange color scheme along with its aerodynamic and bird-like appearance. The Defender, however, was characterized by the fact that it had a similar appearance to the Guardian in character, but its color scheme was different with a red and yellow firelike color scheme. They took the Defender in for a landing on the planet and exited their ship. Cheep refused to come and decided to stay with the ship, which was something they could live with easily.

"I feel like I am going to lose credits just by being here," Kyle commented, keeping his blaster close in hand.

Rex, Peter, and Kate all wore hoods to be on the safe side around these parts. Amber on the other hand decided to wear a Vaccum mask over her face. It was covering her entire facial features, meaning that nobody could identify her. It would stay on her face until she wanted to take it off and was even able to see through it with the T-shaped lens on the surface of the mask.

"Yeah, I kinda agree with him," Amber said as she kept her poncho over her saber, keeping it out of sight.

"So, where did they say to find these rogue clones?" Kate asked, eyeing the strange town. "I don't see anyone here who fits the description of a clone trooper."

"They said to check Cid's place," Rex commented as he took the lead and approached the town.

The team didn't need to search long until they found what looked to be a dive bar of sorts. They entered the bar separately to check out the environment to not look like one large group but rather a small bunch of individuals. They waited out for some time and even got some food and drinks for themselves.

"So, how long are we going to wait out?" Amber asked as she was in the middle of playing Dejarik against one of the other people in the bar. "Feels like we've been waiting forever."

"Patience," Peter told Amber as he enjoyed a drink. "Isn't that the first thing they teach you in Jedi school?"

"I slept through those classes," Amber remarked as she made her move in the game.

Then they watched as the doors opened and what sounded like armor clanked its way down the stairway. Peter kept his head down, but his eyes up as he looked to see who would enter. Kate was at the bar and was having some flashbacks to the last time she was in the presence of any other troop other than Rex. She remembered the screams, the terror, the carnage that was inflicted.

But when the clones entered the facility, they were no normal clones. They were a special group. Clone Force 99. Also known as the Bad Batch and designated as Experimental Unit Clone Force 99, was a clone commando special forces squad that was active during the Clone Wars.

The squad initially consisted of four clone commandos designed with genetic mutations and led by Clone Sergeant Hunter, a clone with enhanced sensory abilities.

Other members of the squad included "Wrecker", a clone with an enhanced muscular form. "Tech", a clone with enhanced mental capacity and intelligence. CT-9904 "Crosshair", a clone with keen eyesight and marksmanship that allowed him to excel in long-distance firefights. Advanced Recon Commando Clone Corporal CT-1409 "Echo" joined the unit because of his cybernetic enhancements and because he could be useful in combat and special situations. Then there was some sort of kid with them whom none of them had ever seen before.

"Well, I'll be." Peter was shocked at who he saw. He then started to smile and nod his head. "I should have known. Clone Force 99."

"The Bad Batch?" Kate was shocked to see they were still around. "Can't say I'm surprised. Following orders wasn't their strong suit."

They watched as the batch was split off and Wrecker took the kid with him out of the establishment. The rest of them went to talk with who they guessed was Cid, a Trandoshan who led the Bad Batch into the back.

"So, what do we do now? Do we wait for them to come out?" Kyle asked as he was sitting across the bar from where Kate was sitting.

"We'll see how things go," Peter commented when two regulars of the bar approached them.

Bolo, an Ithorian, came up to Rex and seemed agitated about something. "You're in my seat! Move it!"

Rex didn't move, and none of them wanted to pick a fight. "He's ignoring you." Ketch, a Weequay, said.

"Are you hearing me? I said move it." Bolo warned Rex.

Rex, however, had different plans; he reached for his blaster. "I would suggest you move along."

"What was that?" Bolo dared Rex.

Peter, Kate, and Rex were all in agreement as they quickly formulated a plan. Kate, who always kept her trusty quiver on her back, reached for a smoke arrow and hurled it across the room. The arrow hit the table right in front of Bolo and Ketch, creating a thick cloud of smoke. As the smoke filled the room, Rex sprang into action and fired off a few warning shots, making sure not to aim directly at his targets.

The sudden commotion soon drew the attention of the Batch and Cid, who quickly emerged from their office to investigate the source of the disturbance. By the time they arrived on the scene, Bolo and Ketch had already retreated, taking advantage of the confusion caused by the smoke. Despite the smoke starting to clear, the Batch and Cid were still confused as to what was going on."

"Hey, what's happening here?" Cid asked as she pushed past the clones. "Who are you?"

Rex was the first to reveal himself to the Bad Batch, showing that he meant no harm. "Rex?" Hunter was surprised to see him.

"Great." Cid sighed. "Another clone. Just what I needed."

"Not just him," Kate said as she got up and approached, revealing her face to the team. "Hey, guys."

"Commander Bishop?" Echo was surprised to see her.

Peter then removed his cloak to show his face. "Hey, boys."

"It's been a while," Rex told the Clones.

"Well, don't get comfortable," Cid warned them. "I'm done taking in strays. This isn't a clone clubhouse; you know." She then groaned and started walking off. "Unbelievable. Thinking they own the place."

"Where have you all been?" Hunter wonders.

"That's a long story." Peter sighed.

They all took a seat at the bar, Peter and Rex introducing the Clone Force 99 to the rest of the Protectors. They were relieved to hear there was another Padawan who had survived the purge and a little surprised to see a Mandalorian among them.

"And when the war ended, I guess you could say I've been keeping a low profile," Rex explained how things were before the Protectors.

"Very low," Tech said in a sarcastic tone. "You're listed as a potential threat in Imperial files."

Peter chuckled. "Yeah, that may have something to do with us fighting against the Empire on Mandalore."

"It says your group is designated as the Protectors of the Nebula," Tech commented.

"That was my suggestion," Kyle stated, taking credit for the name. "We're basically certified heroes for hire."

"Except we can't be certified without going through the imperial network," Amber informed him.

"That's why I said basically, certified." Kyle retorted.

"Well, how'd you track us down?" Hunter wonders.

"Trace and Rafa Martez." Rex explained. "They said a squad of rogue clones helped them on Corellia."

"They told us we could find you here," Peter told them. "And that you were traveling with a kid."

"Yeah, I was wondering about the kid," Kate commented as she picked up a drink. "Who is she?"

"Omega," Hunter explained. "She's a clone like us."

"Well, look who it is." Wrecker came into the doorway and he saw everyone. He ran over and grabbed Rex into a beer hug. "Come here, Rex."

Rex groaned as he chuckled. "Good to see you too, Wrecker."

"I thought you didn't like the regs," Omega commented as she saw how happy the Bad Batch was to see Rex.

"This one we like," Wrecker stated as he placed Rex down.

"Omega, this is Rex." Hunter introduced them. "Commander Parker, Bishop, Amber, and that's Kyle."

Rex kneeled down to be face-to-face with Omega. "I've met many clones in my time, but never one like you."

Omega looked closely at Rex. "You're a generation one."

"Now how'd you know that?" Rex was curious to know.

"From the lines on your face." Omega admitted.

"Ha!" Peter had to laugh on that one. "Damn, Rex, think the kid just called you old."

Rex chuckled at Omega and Peter's comments. "Yeah, I guess I've been around."

"You still look good for only being eight years old, Rex." Kate complimented her friend jokingly.

Omega then looked over to Peter as he was laughing. "Weren't you..."

"Yeah, I used to be Spider-Man," Peter confirmed with a sigh. "Haven't been that guy for a while."

"I remember your face from the blood sample you gave on Kamino," Omega explains how she knew.

"Oh, yeah, forgot I did that," Peter admitted when he realized something. "Now that's something I kinda regret."

"You had better." Kate scoffed. "If we have to deal with more of you, I'm going to kill myself in retaliation to that fact."

Wrecker then groaned, getting their attention focused on him. "Tech, I need one of those med patches."

Tech rolled his eyes. "You used the last one."

Peter and Rex are put on alert by Wrecker's headache. They have flashbacks to when Tup's inhibitor chip was malfunctioning and caused the rest of the clones to turn and terminate their friends.

"What's wrong, Wrecker?" Peter asked, becoming defensive.

The wrecker shrugged it off as nothing. "Nothing. It's just a headache."

"Which are becoming more frequent," Echo commented.

Rex looked at Peter and realized the same thing. "Is that so?" Rex asked, then reaching for his blaster in his holster.

Tech didn't seem to notice their look of concern. "If you're concerned about the so-called inhibitor chips, don't be. Our deviant nature hasn't impeded their functionality. Except in Crosshair."

Kate then became worried when she heard what he said. "Wait. You're saying that you haven't removed your chips yet?"

"No, not yet," Tech confirmed.

Rex slowly grabbed his blaster, just as Amber slowly grabbed her lightsaber and was ready to activate it. Kate grabbed one of her arrows behind her and was ready to use it if necessary.

Kyle slowly grabbed his blasters, turning them from stun to kill. He wasn't around to see what the clones did, but he was in no mood to find out. Peter tapped a small button and readied his web shooters around his wrists.

Hunter became concerned because he saw them being prepared for a fight. "Guys?"

"Listen, those chips make you a threat to everyone around you," Kate warned them, looking toward Omega. "Even she. You're all ticking time bombs waiting to go off."

Hunter looked to Kate in concern. "Take it easy, Commander."

"Guys, what's inside your heads is more dangerous than you can imagine," Peter remembered how Fives and Tup reacted, and how Rex was when the chip activated.

"He's right." Kate agreed with Peter and Rex. "I've seen what happens when the chip activates. When Clint's chip activated, he shot my arm and tried to kill me." She looked down at her mechanical arm and remembered how that day went. The day that everything changed for everyone. "He didn't show any regret or remorse. His last words were 'Good soldiers follow orders' before Yelena was forced to kill him to save my life." She started to tear up at the memory of her deceased friend. "She was also killed by the clones when she sacrificed herself to get me and Amber to safety."

"I was there when it happened," Amber told her side of the story. She could still hear the screams, the blaster fire, everything down to her Master's death. "All of the clones killed every last Jedi, Padawan, and youngling at the Jedi Temple. Even my classmates, my close friends, and... and my Master. I watched her die right in front of me. She died... trying to protect me. If Kate and Yelena hadn't rescued me, I wouldn't be here."

"I don't want to bury any more of our brothers," Rex told the Batch. "Trust me. It is not something you can control. I couldn't. It's a risk you don't want to take."

Hunter looked at how everyone saw him as a danger and didn't want to be killed to protect themselves. These chips were more dangerous than he had first thought.

"How do you suggest we get them out?" Hunter asked.

"That's a good question," Rex commented.

"We'll be in touch," Peter tells him.

The Stellar Sentinel is now flying through hyperspace and making its way to meet up with the Bad Batch on Bracca. The Protectors knew that the only way to remove the inhibitor chips from their heads was surgically. And with them all being wanted fugitives, they couldn't exactly walk into a normal facility and ask them to remove the chips.

"We should reach Bracca in a few minutes," Rex commented to the team.

"Great. Hunter said that they're en route." Peter said after getting off the comms.

"So, why Bracca?" Amber wonders.

"It's essentially a graveyard for all the ships that were damaged in the Clone Wars," Kate explained since she was familiar with the planet.

"And one of the few places that's not guarded by the Empire," Peter stated as he reclined his seat. "So, we can take all the time we need."

Leaving the Stellar Sentinal in the sky, they took the Defender down since it was smaller and easier to hide than the gigantic home base ship. When they landed, they were setting up the beacon for the Clone Force 99 to meet them. While they were waiting, Amber felt a disturbance in the Force and wondered what it was leading her towards. She hadn't felt something like this before and was curious to know what it was.

"You okay, Amber?" Kate asks.

"Uh, yeah. I just...felt something." Amber explains and reaches for her lightsaber. "Mind if I checked something out?"

Peter considered it and knew it would be better to let her consider it. "Fine, but take Cheep with you."

Cheep bleeped in fear when he heard that. He then whistled in anger, saying he didn't want to go.

"It's either go with the Padawan or to go with us into the ruins of a ship." Peter dared Cheep to retaliate now.

Cheep grunted and whistled, giving up and groaning and then rolling down the hill. Amber shrugged and decided to go with the droid and figure out what was leading her in this certain direction.

While Amber was leaving, the Bad Batch's ship came into view and it came in for a landing. When it did, the crew met up with the Protectors.

"How's a junk planet gonna help us?" Wrecker wonders.

"Follow us," Rex said as they walked down.

They came up a pile of debris and ship parts and then came up to the top of a hill. They saw all kinds of ships from the Clone Wars that were battle-damaged from the battles they had gone through as far as the eye could see.

"Bracca may not be much to look at, but it has exactly what we need," Rex explained to the Batch, showing them a Jedi Star Cruiser scrapped. "I had my inhibitor chip taken out on a Jedi cruiser just like that. That's where we're heading."

"Then why'd we land all the way over here?" Wrecker wonders why they parked so far away.

Peter sensed something coming and whistled. "Everyone down."

Looking upward, they saw what looked to be some sort of patrol gliding around on a platform. Tech took a closer look using his binoculars to see who they were.

"It's the Scrapper Guild," Tech tells them.

"They control this entire planet," Rex stated.

"That answers your question?" Kate asked Wrecker.

"Uh, yeah." Wrecked confirmed.

"We need to keep out of sight from their patrols," Kyle stated. Then he raised his blast towards the patrol. "Unless..."

"No!" Peter demanded, lowering Kyle's blaster. "Kill them, they don't report in, then we have the entire clan on our heads."

"Fine." Kyle seemed annoyed by the statement and lowered his rifle.

"I worry about you sometimes," Kate stated.

Rex began leading them into the ship while Peter shot out a web to use as a zip line. When they landed in the docking area, they started to retreat further into the hallways to find a medical bay.

"Fives tried to warn me about the chips, but I didn't understand at the time," Rex explained to the Bad Batch. "It's still hard to believe now."

"How did you boys find out about them?" Peter was a little curious to know.

"Omega," Hunter explained.

"The kid?" Rex was surprised to hear.

"Whoa," Omega said as they were closed up on the ship. "It's much bigger up close."

"This is an original Venator-class ship from the first batch off the line," Rex explained to her.

"First off the line? Just like you, Rex." Wrecker commented with a laugh.

Peter's senses went off, alerting him of something going on around them. He looked over to where they were directing him and saw that it came from the water which likely was where the ship crashed into when dropped on this planet. Kate approached him and saw he was staring right at the water.

"What is it?" Kate wonders.

"I think it's best we stay above the waterline," Peter explained and walked on.

Kate looked down at the water and decided not to question and followed them along. They made their way into more held-together areas of the ship, even though they still looked like a real shipwreck.

"The last time I was aboard one of these it didn't end so well," Peter commented, recalling his and Rex's last encounter with a Cruiser.

"If the inhibitor chip isn't something you can control, how'd you get yours out?" Hunter asked Rex.

"I had help." Rex nodded towards Peter who was leading them on down the hallways.

"Seems the medical bay is at the other end," Peter tells them.

Peter then looked down at the gap between the pathways and saw the water he was desperate to keep out of. Kyle happened to look down and noticed the water and started to slightly panic. He started to hyperventilate a little, which due to the helmet made his breathing all the more recognizable. Kate heard his heavy breathing and wondered what was wrong.

"Hey, you okay?" Kate asked Kyle.

Kyle saw they overheard his breathing and tried to stop. "Yeah, fine."

Kate wasn't convinced but figured he didn't want to talk about it. "Alright."

"Alright, hang on." He then started to shoot several strands from both ends of the area. He then created a pathline they could climb on and pass over. "That should do nicely."

Meanwhile, Amber and Cheep were making their way across the ship graveyard. Cheep was having some difficulty following her, so Amber would always have to take a second and stop so she could use the Force and move him across the sky then across the rubble onto the ground and place him down on the ground.

Cheep grunted and whistled, wondering what they were supposed to be doing.

"I don't know, Cheep. Okay?" Amber admitted. "I just felt something. A presence I haven't felt since..." Then she stopped and felt something in the Force once again. "The Temple." She then snuck around the rubble and came across the workers of the planet. "What?"

She saw a young boy working on breaking apart the ships for parts. Then he seemed to feel something himself and turned to face Amber through the rubble. The two felt a connection through the Force, showing that they were indeed connected through the Force and had been trained in the ways.

"Hey, Cal!" A person she couldn't see called out. "You got that part yet?"

Cal looked over to Amber and she started to worry if he was going to out her. "Not yet, Prauf." He called out and gave Amber a friendly smile. "I'll get to it."

Amber smiled and was happy to see she wasn't the only Jedi survivor from the Purge. She then started to back off and saw Cheep was confused about what happened. She didn't really explain and walked off, leaving Cheep to be lifted when she used the Force and dragged him back so they could regroup with the others.

Wrecker just got across the large gap thanks to Peter's webbing holding up well for them. They started to make their way through the rest of the ship and finally reached the medical facilities.

"This will do nicely," Rex stated.

Tech started to look over the area. "I would no longer call this medical bay a sterile environment."

"Do you prefer to use the facility on Kamino?" Kate asks sarcastically as she passes him.

Tech had to admit she had a point there. "This will do nicely."

Echo then approached the surgical bed and placed his technical hand into the port socket. "I'll calibrate the surgical pod.

"Time to get scanned, Wrecker," Tech said as he placed a device he made to scan for the inhibitor chip in their heads.

"Let's get this over with," Wrecker stated with a groan, his headaches becoming worse.

Omega however felt a little concerned for her brothers. "Hunter, just because the surgery worked on Rex, doesn't mean it's safe." She explained her concern. "This is dangerous."

"It's more dangerous to leave their inhibitor chips in." Rex broke to Omega. "We have to do this."

Hunter seemed to agree. "It's worth the risk."

"And what if something goes wrong? I'll be left here with no one." Omega stated in sadness.

Hunter saw she was worried and tried to comfort her. "We're not going anywhere, Omega. You're stuck with us for the long run."

Tech's device beeped on Wrecker. "I think I found something. Ninety degrees from his right orbital floor, below the parietal and temporal intersection."

Wrecker started to become worse as he then shoved the device off his head. "Get that away from me."

Omega seemed to recognize something was off. "Something's not right."

"Yeah, I agree." Peter nodded, his senses growing concern for the situation. "We need to speed this up."

They started to prepare the procedure and activated the bed so they could start removing the chip. As they were, Wrecker seemed to be growing more annoyed with a bigger headache.

"You boys got lucky," Rex said as they walked towards the controls. "Very few clones were immune to the effects of Order 66. It's rare."

"When the regs attacked the Jedi on Kaller, we didn't understand why," Hunter commented. "We couldn't save the general, but at least we helped the Padawan escape."

"That's good to hear," Peter said with a sigh. "I honestly thought that Amber and Ahsoka were the only ones."

Tech was then working on preparing Wrecker for the procedure. "Relax, this won't hurt a bit."

Then all of a sudden, Wrecker stopped him and forced Tech's hand away from him. "Wrecker," Peter said in worry.

"You're in direct violation of Order 66," Wrecker said, sounding like one of the reg clones.

"Wrecker?" Kate asked.

Then Wrecker stood up and threw Tech across the room, followed by raising his blaster and shooting off toward the group. Everyone ducked for cover behind the wreckage of the ship and tried to avoid the heavy fire that Wrecker was raining down on them.

"He'll destroy the equipment if we don't get him out of here," Tech warns them.

"You're all traitors." Wrecker cried as he was shooting them.

Peter and Wrecker seemed to have an idea as they saw an air canister. "We'll draw him out," Hunter tells them the plan. "Omega, stay with Tech."

The room was tense as Peter and Wrecker faced off against each other. Peter had shot a web at Wrecker's face, causing him to stumble back into the hallway. However, Wrecker managed to break free from the webbing and stood up, ready to take on Peter. They both stood there, watching for any movements from each other.

Wrecker was the first to make a move as he lunged towards Peter with a punch. However, Peter's reflexes were too quick, and he managed to dodge the attack by quickly ducking under it. He then responded with a swift punch to Wrecker's stomach, causing him to stagger back.

Just then, Kate entered the room and tried to stop Wrecker with one of her taser arrows. However, Wrecker's armor and unique genetic code made him immune to the electric shock. Kate quickly realized this and reached for another arrow, this time a smoke bomb one. She aimed and fired it at the ground, causing a thick puff of smoke to appear, obscuring Wrecker's vision.

Kyle came in and started to try and take Wrecker down with the stun setting through the smoke, but he couldn't see anything through the smoke until the last second. In that last second, Wrecker grabbed Kate by the neck and started to raise her up while she struggled to breathe. When Kyle aimed his rifle at him, Wrecker threw Kate into him causing Kyle to accidentally stun her and get thrown against the wall Kate landed on him and both were knocked out.

Peter then came back in and grabbed Wrecker from behind. "Come on, Wrecker." He tried to stop his friend. "Snap out of it. This isn't you!"

"Conspiring with traitors makes you guilty of treason!" Wrecker stated as he tried to grab Peter who started to crawl around and leave a web cocoon around Wrecker.

Shooting webbing after webbing, he finally managed to get Wrecler stuck in a bundle of webbing that Hunter then shot Wrecker, knocking him out and allowing them to go through with the procedure.

Wrecker was finally down on the surgical bed and they were now just waiting for the results. Amber had reported in, saying that she and Cheep had returned to the ship and would wait for them there.

"Is it supposed to take this long? I'm not sure." Echo wonders, feeling a little scared with the time the procedure is taking.

"Not this long," Peter recalled when he and Ahsoka managed to get the chip out of Rex.

Then the console beeped, letting them know that the work was done. "The procedure's complete," Tech reported.

Omega ran over to Wrecker's side. "Wrecker." She tried to wake him. "Wrecker! He should be awake by now."

"He is alive, but his vitals have not stabilized," Tech explained what was happening. "We won't know more until he regains consciousness."

"This could be a while," Rex commented to Hunter. "Why don't you take Omega topside and get some air?"

"No," Omega stated, dragging a chair closer to Wrecker. "I'm staying until he wakes up."

They decided to allow her to stay and they all were now waiting until Wrecker finally woke up. They asked Amer to take the Defender or Guardian and park it near their location so that they could head out when they were sure the procedure worked.

Wrecker started to regain consciousness when everyone around him had fallen asleep. "Hey, kid." He noticed her look of sadness. "Why Why the long face?"

"He's awake!" Omega was happy to see.

"You made it." Tech was happy to see.

Peter chuckled and was happy they didn't lose another friend. "Welcome back, big guy."

"One chip down." Rex was happy to see it worked. "Three to go."

"Who's next?" Kate asked.

One after another, all of the Bad Batch got their chips removed and they were finally done. When they were making their way out to find where Amber parked, Wrecker came over to speak to Rex.

"I figured you weren't out of the fight just yet," Hunter commented, them finally having a real moment to talk.

Rex sighed and smiled. "I spent my life defending the Republic. Can't stop now."

"The Republic's gone, Rex." Wrecker reminds him.

"Not all of it." Rex looked over to his friends and saw they were what the Republic stood for still standing. "We're here. Others are out there too." He then turned to Hunter. "Your squad's skills would be a tremendous asset."

Hunter sighed and knew they couldn't get back into the fight yet. "Things aren't like before. Our priorities have shifted."

"So I've noticed," Rex commented.

"Omega needs us, and I have to do what's best for my squad," Hunter replied.

"Which is what?" Rex wonders.

"I'm still figuring that out," Hunter admitted.

Rex chuckled and looked over towards his team. "I guess we all are." He then saw they were ready to head back out and knew that their time here was over, and it was time to depart. "When you sort things out, let me know where you land." He then shook Hunter's hand. "Tell the boys I'll see them around."

"Stay out of trouble," Hunter tells him.

"Funny." Rex chuckled. "I was gonna say the same to you." Then he placed his helmet back on. "Well, Take care, trooper."

Hunter watched Rex make his way down the rubble towards the ship. "Captain." He called out to the Clone Captian. "If you're ever in a bind, you know how to reach us."

Rex nodded and knew to keep that in mind as he made his way down and towards the Defender. Once they were all back together, they all made their way toward the Stellar Sentinel and were preparing to finally leave this planet and get back to helping people.

"So, did you find what you were looking for?" Kate asked Amber.

Amber looked back to Bracca and let out a small smug smile. "Something like that."

Cal Kestis was working on taking apart a piece of the ship when he heard what sounded like engines and looked upward to see the Stellar Sentinel make its way off into the atmosphere. He somehow knew who was on that ship and smiled, happy to see he wasn't the only survivor in the galaxy.

The Watcher saw them fly off and became worried about what would come for them soon. "Oh, if only they knew what they were in for."

Herbert Edgar Wyndham was a well-known scientist who was also known by the name of the High Evolutionary. He was standing in front of a formidable line of dozens of tanks that were part of a highly classified project called Project Necromancer. Wyndham was one of the leading researchers within the scientific community of The Empire and had a significant role in the project.

The primary goal of Project Necromancer was to study the secrets of cloning to be used for various purposes. The project was headed by Chief Scientist Dr. Royce Hemlock, an expert in genetic splicing. Despite his reputation as one of the foremost scientists in his field, Dr. Hemlock had always struggled to achieve consistent results with his experiments.

However, after acquiring a steady supply of clones from the Empire, his experiments were finally showing promising results. The potential applications of Project Necromancer were vast and could have far-reaching implications for the future of scientific research and development. But High Evolutionary wasn't interested in any of that and kept his true purposes hidden from the Empire until the time was right.

Hemlock walked towards where the High Evolutionary was. "And what is so urgent that I was summoned from Kamino in these pressing times?"

High Evolutnaionry then gestured to the pods. "See for yourself?"

Hemlock approached one of the pods and looked at the scanners, showing that one of them was showing signs of life. "It's working?"

"Only on this specimen. I have yet to see what kind of M-count I managed to procure in this one." Evolutionary said as he tapped the pod. "But it is showing promise."

"And they are...obedient specimens?" Hemlock wonders.

"For that, we will have to see." High Evolutionary said.

Whoever it was in the pod, she opened her eyes with a gasp and started to take deep breaths. She saw that she was stuck in a pod surrounded by water that was making her vision blurry. With a breathing tube in her throat, she started to cry for help as she pounded on the glass trying to get out of the pod.

Her long flowing hair was getting in her face as she swam her way upward, but the top of the pod was stopping her from escaping. She screamed and tried to punch through, but even if the pod was reinforced, she managed to crack it a little through her force alone, showing that she was definitely enhanced. Except when she tried to escape, she was shocked, causing her to stop trying to escape and cry in pain.
