Corellia was a planet that resided in the galaxy's Core Worlds, which was renowned for its skilled pilots and large starships. The planet's enormous shipyards had been producing various types of vessels for centuries, including the likes of starfighters and Star Destroyers for the Galactic Empire in recent years. Additionally, the planet was famous for its production of the iconic YT-1300 light freighter among other models.

The city was full of life, but in the hidden "sewers" of the planet, there existed a group of young friends who were living under the protection of the notorious White Worms. Among them was a child by the name of Han, who, despite being a troublemaker, possessed a sharp mind and was always scheming and hustling through the streets.

One day, Han met a kid named Pace while wandering the streets. Pace was a young, skilled engineer who could build and fix ships with exceptional ease. Though spacecraft was his primary area of expertise, he was knowledgeable in other areas as well.

The third member of their little group was Casey, who grew up in Corellia during the Clone Wars. He spent much of his time watching Kate Bishop, also known as Hawkeye, on the holonet. She was a renowned hero who single-handedly fought against hundreds of battle droids, saving countless worlds with just her bow and arrow.

This inspired Casey to start training himself on how to use a bow and arrow to defend himself in the chaotic world they lived in. Even with the Empire's occupation, life on the planet was still lawless and exceedingly challenging. However, the three of them worked together to do their best to survive. Despite Han's constant scheming, they managed to support one another and navigate the challenging landscape of Corellia. And Han's schemes on how to get off the planet with his girlfriend Qi'ra.

Casey was watching as Pace was fixing up this vehicle that Han...found. They knew better than to question where he got it from.

"So, what are we thinking, man?" Casey asks.

"I am going to say it is going to be a miracle if this thing even makes it down the street before crashing and going up in flames," Pace stated.

"Just work your magic," Han tells his friend. "And when I win this race, I'll finally have the credits to get out of here."

"That's what you said last time." Casey reminded Han. "And the time before that."

"And the time before that," Pace recalled.

Then another speeder came up next to Han's and came out a Dowutin. He exited the vehicle and approached Han.

"Alright, Han. You have the 10,000 credits?" Dowutin asked him.

Han then showed off a bag he was carrying, which wasn't carrying anything but a handful of rocks. "Right here, Johnair."

"Heh, then let's race," Johnair said as he jumped into his speeder.

Pace was finishing his work in the back of the vehicle and sighed at his work. "Okay, Han, I rewired the antigravity conduct so it won't burn out. But again, watch the transcoil."

"You worry too much, Buddy," Han tells him. "I've got-" he then turned around and noticed a speeder coming in the distance.

Casey knew when Han had that look, he knew he messed up. "Han...what did you do?"

"You've got what?" Pace was waiting for Han to finish his sentence, finishing the speeder.

"Trouble!" Han said as the speeder was closing in.

"Ready..." A Twi'lek was preparing to start the race. "Set..."

"Gotta go!" Han cried as he hit the throttle, speeding off.

Casey sighed as he pulled out his bow and arrows he always kept nearby. He shot off a grapple arrow and was dragging himself to retract and reach the speeder. The speeder with the people Han was afraid of sped past Johnair.

"You could have given me some warning," Pace stated as he grabbed a seat.

"I would have liked a little myself!" Han proclaimed as he saw Casey grabbing onto the speeder and climbing on board. "Moloch doesn't give 'em."

Han then made a sharp turn past some Imperials, causing one of their TIEs to be crashed into. They however weren't done yet as they were still chasing after the speeder with the three of them.

"Who is Moloch?" Pace asked.

"And should we ask why he's after you?" Casey asked as he steadied himself and shot three arrows that turned into a smokescreen.

"He's Proxima's muscle," Han explained. "And I'm supposed to be working a job for 'em. If he catches me..."

"You're good as dead." Pace figured.

"But don't worry." Han said as he made a sharp turn to try and lose them, causing Casey to drop down into the backseat of the speeder. "I'll lose 'em." Then there was what sounded like a bang going on underneath. "What was that?"

Pace looked and saw there was smoke coming from the engine. "What did I tell you about the trans coil?"

"Honestly?" Han asked. "I wasn't listening."

"Well, we could always count on you for your brutal honesty, Han," Casey said as he was going through his trick arrows.

"Is it bad?" Han asked Pace.

"Very!" Pace exclaimed. "You have to pull over before we're all blown to bits."

"Well, if we stop, they're going to tear us to pieces." Han broke to him.

"I'm working on them!" Casey said as he pulled out an electronic arrow, that sent out an EMP device. "You're gonna have to give us somewhere to go, Han."

Han looked forward and saw traffic coming up. "Hang onto something."

Pace saw what he was planning and panicked. "Are you crazy?!"

"It's been suggested," Han said as he pulled a lever, shutting the vehicle down and causing it to drag down on the ground.

As the vehicle was skidding, it managed to get underneath the vehicle and was able to get away from one of the cars. They watched Han start the vehicle back up and continue to go while only two more cars were on their tail.

"Hang on, I got this one," Casey said as he was looking over the arrows. He picked one of them and looked at the label. "Oh, not that one." He then picked out another and scoffed. "Nope, too dangerous." Then he picked out the least dangerous arrow. "Ah, that's perfect."

"Pace, we're losing speed!" Han called;

"I'm working on it!" Pace called as he got to work.

Casey then stood up, steadying himself against Han's terrible driving while Pace was working on the vehicle. Casey then grew a grin as he released the arrow, watching it fly towards the secondary vehicle. When the arrow landed on the vehicle, it immediately started to release a gas, making it difficult to breathe for the drivers, and causing them to crash.

"I got it!" Pace called, picking up the speed, and Han used a ramp to get them across the alleys and luckily landed on a ship parking. "Are we dead?"

"As close as Han usually makes us." Casey scoffed as he climbed from the back seat. "Han...you gotta stop pitting us in these situations."

"Duly noted," Han promised as they watched the ship lower and Han zipped the vehicle. He got them to descend into the streets like nothing happened. "Now all I have to do is get to the starting line and win that race."

By the time they got back to the starting line, Han, Casey, and Pace had reached the front of the race where they found Johnair working on fixing his vehicle.

"What do you mean I lost?" Han asks.

"I ran the race on foot," Johnair informed Han. "And you lost. Now give me my 10,000 credits!"

Han watched as Johnair reached for the bag Han kept in the vehicle, and somehow it wasn't lost in the chaos. Han was beginning to panic as Johnair looked for his credits.

"Well...here's the thing. That isn't exactly 10,000 credits." Han fearfully said.

Johnair dumped out the bag and saw that it was filled with lug nuts and a handful of credits on top. Dowutin snarled as he grabbed Han, picking him up by the throat. Casey drew a taser arrow, ready to shoot if Johnair harmed Han. Pace just backed off since he was more engineering than fighting.

"Get me my credits by sunrise, Han..." Johnair demanded Han, watching as he kept that smug smile. "Or you're going to lose much more than a race!"

"I'll get it. I promise." Han promised.

"10,000 credits?!" Qi'ra asked Han in shock, as they were hiding out at Pace's warehouse where he worked and learned his engineering skills. "You three bet 10,000 credits?!"

"Well, mostly Han," Casey stated as he was fixing up some more trick arrows. "I am clean in all of this. I feel I should make that clear. We didn't know what he was planning with the race."

"In hindsight, we should have guessed it was nothing good," Pace admits.

Where are you going to get 10,000 credits by sunrise, Han?" Qi'ra asked him.

"I'd...I don't know." Han stated as he was thinking that himself while handing Pace the tools he asked for. "I'd have to steal all the accellerite from Corellia Tower." He stated as he gestured to the imperial facility. "That'd be the only real way."

"Why'd you race if you didn't have the credits to cover a loss?" Pace asked, taking a break from working on his project.

Han shrugged, playing with some golden dice he kept on his person. "Never thought I'd lose."

"You're never gonna get off of Corellia thinking like that," Pace stated, getting back to work.

"What are you even working on under there?" Casey asked as he approached the drape. When he lightly yanked it, there was an old Jedi Starfighter ship revealed to them. "A Clone Wars Jedi Starfighter?"

"Uh...yeah. It's kinda a secret project. Not even my boss knows about it." Pace decides to tell them. "It was a mess when I found it, but I've been scrapping this thing back to its prime beauty. And it's more than that, it's gonna be my ticket off of Corellia for good."

"What, you were gonna just jump and leave us?" Casey was joking but also sounded offended easily.

"Of course not, man," Pace promised with an offended tone. "I was gonna take you. We know Han isn't interested in getting help."

"Not to mention, I have a feeling that Dowutin is going to come after you now, so you better pay him off," Casey stated as he turned from Pace towards Han.

"I might have an idea how to," Han stated as he eyed Pace's ship. "I'll take the ship."

"You can't afford it," Pace stated. "And I have a buyer that's gonna be coming by soon. A very scary buyer, who's a lot richer than you."

"That's ominous for you," Casey commented.

"He gave me an offer I couldn't refuse," Pace explained to him. "It's the money I need to get out of here and start off a business somewhere far away."

"Well, you definitely need to take this off for a test run, don't you?" Han asks. "Like maybe...Corellia Tower? That way I could use it to 'liberate' some of the Empire's accellerite to pay my debt, you sell the ship, and we can all get off Corellia."

"Steal from the Empire?" Qi'ra asked. "Are you crazy?"

"We've been over that," Casey promised her.

"Come on, I'll be in and out before the empire even knows I'm there," Han promised. "Then I can sell the accellerite, pay off Johnair, and whatever I have leftover, we can use with whatever you sell the ship for to get out of here."

"As far as your idiotic plans go, Han...this isn't the worst of them." Casey was sorry to admit his plan did have merit in it.

"You really think he can pull it off?" Qi'ra asks.

"That's a separate problem," Casey replied.

Pace sighed and saw that this could be the best hope to help him and his friends get off this stinking planet. "Fine." He finally gave in. "But I'm coming with you to make sure this ship isn't damaged."

Han looked to the ship and back to Pace. "It's a one-seater."

Pace appeared indifferent and was resolute in joining Han, taking a seat on his lap. Despite the unsteadiness and cramped space, they managed to make their way to Corellia Tower. Han jumped out of the ship onto the top platform that led into one of the unsecured entrances in the tower.

"Keep the engine running," Han tells Pace as he makes his way towards the entrance.

"Just hurry, Han," Pace said in terror.

"Relax," Han said as he opened the doors. "We'll be in and out before they even know we are here."

Then Han made his way inside of the tower, and Pace watched the doors closed. It wasn't even a few seconds for Pace until Han came running out, avoiding blaster fire as Stormtroopers were chasing Han.

"They know we're here!" Han cried as he leaped back into the ship, taking off and flying away before they could shoot him. "That was a stupid idea."

"Oh, if only someone told you that." Pace scoffed.

As they were flying away, TIE Fighters were beginning to gain on them. "I hope this ship is fast." He said as he tried to fly around. "I'll lose them in traffic."

"Traffic?" Pace didn't like the sound of that.

Han then sent the ship falling and made their way into street traffic, with the ship being as small as it was, it was able to maneuver. But so were the TIEs as they were flying down, going around the small areas and gaining on them. Han then got another bright idea when he looked over to the factory the Empire was using to make arsenals.

"We'll lose them in that factory," Han said as he flew his way inside.

While they were flying around, Pace was still panicking as they were flying around AT-ATs that were currently being built. Han flew between two bodies of an AT-AT on the conveyor belt and managed to destroy one of the TIEs, but they were still flying their way out of the factory towards Pace's shop with the ship still being fired upon. They were starting to take hit after hit, and the ship was becoming damaged.

"You can buff that out, right?" Han asks.

But as the ship was taking constant hits, the ship finally exploded, and the two inside began to plummet. Luckily Casey was nearby and had a specific arrow that would help in this time. He aimed quickly at the falling debris that was in the cockpit. Then he fired the arrow, watching as it slammed into the head of the cockpit, and began to release a foam that was beginning to solidify around the two as the cockpit crashed into the ground.

Qi'ra and Casey then ran over to begin removing the foam so that Pace and Han could leave the destroyed ship. "You guys okay?" Qi'ra asked as she helped Han out of the ship. "You hurt?"

"No, I think I am alright," Han promised.

"The ship!" Pace cried in terror, seeing how damaged it was.

"Hey, let's not worry about that right now, man," Casey told his friend. "I am more focused on that you are okay."

"No, you don't understand. When my buyer gets here, he is expecting his Starfighter." Pace explained his terror.

"Okay, and when is he going to show up?" Han asks.

"How about now?" A gruff voice asked, causing the four of them to look over toward the entrance of the shop where they saw a Hutt slimming his way inside with two Iktotchi's behind him, and a Toydarian flying with a hat that looked like a beret of sorts. "Because, you know, I'm here now, and I'd like to pick up my Jedi Starfighter. Now."

"Mr. Graballa the Hutt." Pace said in terror, spooking the friends since they knew about the Hutts even on Corellia. "Sir, you're...you're here."

"Pace, you don't miss a beat, do ya?" Graballa said. "Now, where is my Jedi Starfighter?"

"Uh..." Pace looked over towards the rubble that was once the Starfighter. "Yeah, well, it is not quite ready yet."

"Okay, not exactly what I was promised," Graballa said with a sigh. "But I am a patient Hutt. So, how much longer are we talking?"

Pace looked to his friends and was concerned about what to tell him. "Uh... a few... years."

"YEARS!?" Graballa asked as he grabbed Pace, causing Casey to act on instinct and reach for an arrow. But he cooled down when he saw the Iktotchi's aiming blasters at him. "Jabba wants that Starfighter now!" Then they heard what sounded like some sort of buzzing. "What is that buzzing?" He asked, turning to the Iktotchi's as one of them pulled out a communicator. "Is that thing buzzing?" The Iktotchi then activated it. "No, no, don't answer-" Then a hologram of Jabba the infamous Hutt appeared. "Jabba!" He then dropped the engineer. "My number one guy!"

"Konchee sa myo jedai starfighter, graballa?" Jabba asked him.

"Not to mince words, but technically it isn't your Starfighter." Graballa reminds him spooked. "It is a birthday present for Grackus the Hutt, and what a guy he is."

"Haga upee takneekay," Jabba replied, seeing through Graballa.

"Stalling?" Graballa was scared. "I wouldn't know how to stall. Not that I am offended-"

"Graballa!" Jabba was becoming infuriated.

"Okay, okay!" Graballa was terrified when Jabba got angry. "I had to deal with Pace here," He then looked to see Pace, Han, Qi'ra, and Casey were already long gone. "He ran away!" He then turned to face the Iktotchi's who were just standing there. "Was nobody holding him?!"

"Oh, when you say that, that would have been a good idea." One of the Iktotchi's commented.

The four friends were running their way across the alleys trying to find places that they could hide. But that isn't exactly the easiest thing to do when you are running away from a Hutt with resources.

"I gotta get off this planet!" Pace said in terror. "That Hutt is going to vaporize me."

"And Johnair is gonna rip Han's arms off clean like a Wookie." Casey reminds them as he checks his arrows. "And I am not exactly looking to bodyguard everyone for a few years."

"Yeah, you're right." Han saw the plans were up in flames. "We gotta get off this planet."

"And how do you plan to do that without any credits?" Qi'ra asked him.

Han then watched one of the Imperial ships flying around and coming in for a landing. That then got him an idea that could either save them or could get them killed. Yet again, they were going to die anyway if they didn't take a chance.

"I got us into this mess. I'm gonna get us out of it." Han promised.

Navigating to the cargo area of the Imperial facility, Han pried open a crate, and they all began to slip inside, clutching a selection of weapons and supplies the Imperials had pilfered from the planet.

"This is your grand plan?" Pace asked as Han closed the door. "Shipping us off on some unknown planet?"

"Yeah, I know, if the scanners pick us up, we can be fried. But it beats facing an angry Hutt." Han shrugged.

"Sometimes I wish I never met you," Pace declared.

"I get that a lot." Han sighed.

"Quiet," Casey tells them.

Then they sensed the crate beginning to move, and they made their way toward the ship. The cargo container was loaded and started its journey off-world to Kethmandi. The Watcher then saw as they were about to meet up with the other half of this facility. "This is one of only half of the story. Let us venture off across the stars once more. And venture off towards the Ring of Kafrene."

Across the galaxy, there was a small colony known as the Ring of Kafrene, also referred to simply as Kafrene. "This was a mining colony and deep-space trading post in the Kafrene asteroid belt of the Thand sector." The Watcher explained. "And here, there is someone who was just like Casey and was inspired by someone in the Republic army."

The Ring of Kafrene was a monumental construction that served as both a mining colony and a deep-space trading post. Its structures, made from Durasteel and plastoid, were slung between a pair of malformed planetoids in the Kafrene asteroid belt. Areas such as its aft docking bay were covered in lurid, phosphorescent graffiti. Roads led out from the docking bays towards the distant rock warrens of the planetoids, and the outpost itself was a labyrinthine sprawl of shacks, prefabricated housing, and countless maze-like corridors.

Although there was some structure to the buildings around the main throughways, beyond these areas the layout of the Ring changed almost daily; shacks were made of sheet metal, and shelters utilized housing units recycled from foreign colonies. Alien housing complexes and tenements featured ventilation shafts that sent wafts of ammonia into the streets. The Ring acted as a junction between the Corellian Trade Spine—which connected it to the planets Coruscant and Anoat—and the Biox Detour, which connected it to the planets Takodana and Malastare.

"There are two people that will change the course of this world." The Watcher explained as he looked down at two people, rewinding time a bit to see this world during the Clone Wars.

In the bustling streets of the planet Kafrene, two best friends, Lena and Claire, have been surviving on their own for as long as they can remember. They have mastered the art of stealing credits to make ends meet, and their animal companion, Zradca, has been their faithful ally in their nefarious activities. The trio had been living on the streets for years, having been abandoned as children with no other choice than to fend for themselves.

Growing up during the tumultuous Clone Wars, Claire was fascinated by the tales of Yelena Belova, famously known as the Black Widow, and her incredible martial arts skills. She would read about how Yelena was capable of taking down entire squads of battle droids and leading soldiers to victory on countless occasions. Claire found her story to be incredibly inspiring, and she decided to take matters into her own hands. She made her own batons and trained herself to be just like Yelena, using footage that she managed to get her hands on.

With her newly acquired skills, Claire took it upon herself to keep the streets of Kafrene as safe as possible. Despite their criminal activities, she felt a sense of obligation to give back to the community that had become her home. She would go out of her way to protect people from harm and danger, as a way of making amends for her actions. But let's not go too far to say that she didn't enjoy doing it personally.

Claire crafted an innovative device, a weapon of her own design, which enabled her to ascend to elevated platforms or descend from them with ease, detaching at will. She engineered this versatile tool by personally modifying an ascension cable. She got that from this shop that throws away some random parts that are useless, and Claire uses this to get around and avoid the imperial patrols.

Claire descended from the top of a roof where she found Lena and Zardca, their Kowakian monkey-lizard. She drew back her line and showed the credits she stole from some Stormtroopers. The three of them would always split up whatever they found equally to keep fair between things.

"Nice haul," Lena commented. "What did you do? Rob a bank?"

"Some Troops were assaulting a shopowner. I shot her with one of my stingers. I...might have the dose wrong, because I am pretty sure I paralyzed her." Claire admitted but wasn't worried since it was an imperial officer she shot, and she was assaulting honest workers and demanding their money. "But, hey, we get paid."

"Okay..." Lena wasn't sure what to do with that knowledge. "Well, here's our cut."

"Great," Claire said as she picked up her credits. "Nice, we might be able to get a hot meal this week."

"A few marks, we might be able to finally get off of this rock," Lena said with relief.

"Finally," Claire said with relief. She was getting worried about the increasing Imperial patrols, and she wasn't going to be able to fight off all of them. "We might be able to go somewhere that we can do some good."

Then they heard blaster fire and looked out to see that there was a Wookie being chased by Imperial troopers. Claire and Lena looked at one another, confused about what was going on before deciding to help out. They knew better than to assume that this person who was being chased was indeed a real criminal, and decided to help him out.

"Do you wanna do this stealthfully, or let me do my thing?" Claire asked as she drew a baton from her belt, extending it to show the tip of it had a taser on it. "Because I have wanted to try these things out."

"Hm..." Lena shrugged. "A few troopers. Think you can handle it?"

"Child play," Claire promised.

A few streets down, the Wookie was running to try and escape the Imperials coming down on him. As he ran down a corner, he saw he was running into an alley and was now trapped. He looked around for a way out as several Stormtroopers had gained and were prepared to open fire on him.

"Hello, boys," Claire called, getting them to turn their attention to her. She tapped her two batons together, causing electricity to flow through them both, creating a small chain link between them. "Mind if I cut in on this one?"

"Blast her!"

As the troopers opened fire, Claire's quick reflexes kicked in, and she expertly dodged each of the first rounds of blaster fire. Without wasting any time, she sprang into action, taking advantage of the moment when the troopers were recharging their weapons.

With lightning-fast movements, she spun her baton, throwing one in the air, and watched as the troopers followed its trajectory with their eyes. While they were distracted, she spun her leg, tripping one of the troopers, and in one swift motion, grabbed her baton to shock him with electricity by smacking it against his head.

The other troopers quickly regained their composure and opened fire again, but Claire was too quick to be hit. She rolled out of the way and with calculated precision, threw her second baton at the trooper's head. The baton hit the trooper, disorienting him and giving her a chance to strike him in the stomach.

With her final move, she threw her baton, and it bounced off the wall, striking another trooper upside the back of his neck, taking him down in an instant. To finish off the incredible sequence, she held her hand out, and the baton landed right back in her hand as if it were nothing to her.

The last trooper was preparing to fire on her, when the Wookie grabbed him and raised him upward to then rip his arms off, causing him to scream. Claire then spun and knocked him out with her foot, keeping him quiet.

"All is clear," Lena promised as she joined them.

The Wookie then growled, giving Claire a hug as she put her batons away. "Okay, okay, you're welcome."

The Wookie then introduced himself as Chewbacca to them. "Nice to meet you, Chewbacca, I'm Lena," Lena said back. "This is Claire. Any enemy to the empire is a friend to us."

"You should lay low for a while be-" Claire was explaining when suddenly she was stunned.

Chewbacca was the next to be hit, prompting Lena to notice they were encircled by troops who had opened fire. As Lena succumbed to unconsciousness, she caught a glimpse of the troopers handing payment to Zradca.

"Thanks for the tip." The trooper tells Zradca.

Zradca then laughs as Lena faints.

Claire, Chewbacca, and Lena found themselves trapped inside a prison train compartment, stripped of their equipment. Claire was aware that their gear was stashed in an adjacent room, yet the doors were securely padlocked, leaving them no means of escape without technical assistance. Suddenly, a mechanism entered the room, dispensing plates before exuding a stream of green goo that was supposed to be food.

"What the hell is this?" Lena asked.

"Your daily food ration." The droid tells them as it moves off to give the same food to the others in the car. "It contains all of the nutrients needed for you to become a productive member of your hard labor camp."

"I don't know about you, but I am not doing that," Claire stated as she stood up. "We're getting out of here."

"And how do you plan to do that?" Lena asked.

Claire looked around and looked over towards the robot that was feeding people. "I might have an idea." She then leaned over to Chewbacca. "Alright, my hairy friend. You are the main role in this job. When you have an opening, I need you to grab that droid."

Chewbacca growled in response, seemingly getting the job.

"And me?" Lena wonders.

"You get to distract him," Claire stated as she walked around the car. "Just until Chewbacca gets into position."

Lena shrugged and decided that she would need to find a way to keep the droid distracted. "Hey."

"You already received your nutritional portion." The droid tells her.

"I sense something...the Force is strong with you." Lena was trying out the trick she used to scandalize people.

"I was unaware droids were capable of a connection with the Force." The droid replies.

Chewbacca began to sneak up behind it while Claire was making her way towards the door, preparing for the next part. "They are!" Lena tells the droid. "And I see your future. I see you serving...a greater purpose. Namely our escape."

Chewbacca sprang into action, seizing the droid and tossing it around the room with formidable strength. As alarms blared and doors flew open, two troopers rushed in to quell the turmoil. Meanwhile, Claire seized the opportunity to slip by unnoticed, locating her equipment stash. With a grin, she equipped herself with her batons and grapple hook, confident in her ability to handle the duo of troopers.

"Stand down!" The Trooper demands.

"Now!"

"I got a better option," Claire said, quickly smacking her baton from her right hand to hit the trooper on her left. Then when the trooper on her left prepared to strike, she used her left baton to smack him from her right. The electricity flowing through them made quick work of them both, taking them down. "You stay down." She then spun her batons around and placed them on the pack on her back. "Shall we?"

Exiting the vehicle, they climbed to the roof of the train car, a task that grew increasingly challenging as the train sped along. Peering over the edge, they realized the height was too great for a safe jump; it would be certain death. They had to devise an alternative escape plan that would ensure their survival.

"Well, we should have really thought the next part through," Claire stated.

"Yeah, we really should have." Lena agreed.

Suddenly, blaster fire rained down upon them, revealing their assailants: troopers equipped with magnetic boots. This explained how they could effortlessly traverse the platform without slipping off. Glancing back along their previous route, they saw the rear of the train cars swarming with additional Troopers, all converging to reclaim them.

"Well, we're in between a rock and a hard place now." Claire saw with fear.

As the train cars overturned, a gaping chasm on the side of the mountain they were crossing came into view. Dangling from the edge of the train, the troopers, their magnetic boots engaged, opened fire below. Once the train emerged from the mountain, a river became visible beneath them. With the troopers distracted, Claire appeared to hatch a plan.

"Drop!" Claire tells them.

"What?" Lena asks.

"Let go!" Claire called while the three of them released her grip.

Chewbacca then released his grip, and Lena sighed and decided to follow the two as they all fell into the river. They splashed, leaving the train behind and leaving the three of them to go free. They crawled their way to shore while taking in a deep breath, coughing up the water they inhaled.

"Come on, it isn't gonna take long for them to realize what we did," Claire said as they got up and ran, trying to find cover in the trees.

Making their way into town, Chewbacca was covered in a poncho and the other two were wearing hoods to cover their faces. They saw the word of their escape got out, and there were now troopers everywhere looking for them. They missed that Pace was currently working on a speeder with Han, Qi'ra, and Casey as that was their only transport to escape before the Hutt caught up with them.

"We gotta find a way out of here," Lena said.

"We should split," Claire said and eyed the speeder Pace was making. "See that speeder? Get there."

They were scattering as Lena backed up into an alley when she bumped into someone. "Oh, sorry." She apologized as she turned around and saw there was Graballa. "I..."

"What? You gonna say you didn't see me standing here?" Graballa asked her. "Because I am so petite?" He then looked at the Toydarian flying with him. "Does that sound plausible?"

"Nope." Toydarian agreed.

"Sorry, gotta run," Lena said as she tried to get past him when she was stopped by a bounty hunter known as Dengar.

"Not so fast." He then pulled out a hologram of Pace. "Have you seen this person?"

"The name's Pace. And he owes me big." Graballa tells her, and they end up being close enough for the group to hear him.

"Guys?" Casey got their attention, making them look to see Graballa. "We gotta hide."

"Where?" Qi'ra asks.

"Get in the speeder," Pace said as they all hid inside. "We just gotta let them pass, and we can jet out of here."

"A lot of credits being offered for whoever finds him," Graballa tells her.

"Like I said, haven't seen him," Lena said and walked over towards the speeder.

Chewbacca, Claire, and Lena then got into the speeder, only to be spooked to see the group already hiding inside. Their shrieks managed to get the sight of everyone in the area.

"It's the prisoner!"

"It's the bounty!"

"What the hell is going on?" Casey asks.

"Hang onto something!" Claire decided to go over names later.

Claire started the speeder, zipping them off and they sped down the streets while being chased by Graballa and the Empire. Casey drew a trick arrow, which when he fired it released gas and covered up an escape, causing a few of their speeders to crash.

"So, who are you guys?" Qi'ra asks.

"Name's Claire." Claire introduced. "The Wookie is Chewbacca. The girl is Lena."

"Chewbacca?" Han repeated. "Well, you are gonna need a nickname or something, because I am not calling you that every time."

"And you are...?" Lena asks.

"Name's Han." Han introduced himself. "The guy with the bow and arrows is Casey."

"Qi'ra." Qi'ra introduced herself.

"Okay, what is the plan now? We can't stay here anymore." Casey informed them.

"Yeah, and we gotta get out of here," Lena stated.

Han seemed to come up with an idea and looked at the group. "Well, if we all wanna get off this planet, then..."

"You are kidding me!" Pace cried in pain.

Sneaking into a cargo container, they hatched a plan to flee the planet again, repeating their prior escapade. Packed tightly, Chewbacca issued a roar, his distinct smell filling the tight quarters.

"Is this really what we are doing?" Lena asks.

"Don't worry, you get used to the cramped spaces," Han promises.

"Ugh, this Wookie needs a bath," Pace stated.

Chewbacca howled.

"Don't piss off a Wookie. Have you seen what they can do?" Han asks.

"Yeah, I have. They can rip your arms clean off." Casey stated.

"I would be down to see that," Clare replied.

"You scare me," Casey stated.

The Watcher, observing from a distance, could tell their journey was just beginning. "A rocky start to their alliance, indeed... but they have yet to discover what challenges lie ahead. Not every hero wears shining armor; some must tread the murky waters of justice, blurring the lines of right and wrong. They just don't realize it yet... but that's who they are destined to be."
