The crew departed on a small transport to The Lodge, a notorious saloon in Fort Ypso on Vandor, known for its lively atmosphere and rugged charm. The Lodge, owned by Tibbs Ospe, was not just a saloon but also a gambling den, a droid-fighting arena, and a hostel, making it the hub of activity on the planet.

"He's the best smuggler around," Lena explained how she knew him. "He's slipped through the Empire's fingers more times than anyone else in our world. We've seen him come back and forth for some time."

"He's attractive, too," Claire added as they made their way through the bar. "Sophisticated with impeccable taste and...Charisma. Not to mention his prodigious-"

"We get it," Casey tells her.

They made their way around a cage match going on with two droids fighting to the death. They watched as a Gonk with some sort of axe hand attacked and clobbered a second Gonk to death, ending with cheers.

"But he's retired from smuggling. Says he's a sportsman now." Lena explains as they move on.

"All we need is his ship," Han stated.

"Well, he'll never part with it." Lena chuckled. "He loves that ship." They finally found him, playing a card game. "He won it...playing Sabacc."

They ended up finding who they were looking for currently playing the same game. There was a table in the middle of the room with a whole crowd surrounding it.

"And there's the rub, right?" The man they came for was telling a story. "How was I supposed to know she was an Imperial spy?" The crowd laughed as it seemed they were at the tail end of the story. "I thought she loved me."

"That's the guy?" Casey asks.

"An interesting style." Han comments.

"I'll say." Qi'ra agreed.

"You say he won his ship?" Han asked with a smile.

"You have an awful Sabacc face." The guy said. "I'm gonna call it."

"I can take him. Let me at him." Han promises.

"Absolutely not," Casey stated.

"Han, these guys are serious gamblers," Lena warned him. "I've seen the crowd he runs with. He plays life dangerously."

"I'm serious. Stake me." Han promises, earning a growl from Chewie. "Don't listen to him." He said, seeing Lena's face. "Come on, I promise you I can do this."

Lena wasn't convinced and looked to his friends. "What do you guys think?" She asked for their thoughts.

Casey shrugged. "Maybe."

"He's pretty good." Qi'ra agreed.

Lena shrugged and saw that most of them seemed to be on board with it. So they decided to send Han in to play against the smuggler in the next game.

"Thank you. Thank you." Their smuggler called as the crowd cheered him on. "You see, how'd you guys let me beat you on that one? Come on. There's no liars in this game, just players."

Han approached the table, acting to be more sheepish than normal. "Is this seat taken?"

"If nobody's in the seat, then it ain't taken friend." He promises Han.

"So this is...Sabacc?" Han asked as he took the seat. "Sabacc. Sabacc. Got it."

"You play it before?"

"A couple of times, yeah." Han lied.

"Captain Lando Calrissian." The smuggler introduced himself.

"Han Solo." Han introduced himself. "Looks like you're having a good day."

"I'm a lucky guy," Han stated. "Can I ask you a question, Captain Calrissian?"

"Anything, Han.' Lando said, mispronouncing his name to sound more like "Hahn".

"That's Han but, that's okay," Han said. "I heard a story about you, I was wondering if it's true."

"Everything you've heard about me is true." Lando proclaimed, getting his cup refilled by a droid. "Thanks love."

"Did you win your ship playing cards?" Han asks.

"I've won a lot of things," Lando stated. "I once won a subtropical moon in the Oseon Belt. Turned out to be a real money pit."

"I'm impressed," Han said.

"I don't think I'd have the nerve to gamble with something I love as much as my ship," Han said.

"Really?" Lando asks.

"Yeah," Han stated.

"What do you fly?"

"VCX-100." Han said, earning some praise.

"That is a quality ship," Lando says. "Right, boys?"

"It's the fastest in the galaxy, but there's a lot of great ships out there," Han says, setting up with his cards. "I mean, I'm sure yours is very nice."

"Gets me where I'm going." Lando shrugged.

Han then put down a few cards, revealing his hand. "Beginner's luck."

"Well played," Lando says.

"Let's see what we got here," Han said as he got his winnings and new cards.

The crew watched from the sides as they saw Han and Lando clear out the other players. Han was winning, getting money while Lando was winning a game here and there. But as they were planning, in the crowd was a member of Enfys Nest. They were watching through the crowd and spotted Han, which led them to notice the crew in the crowd.

"This game is fun," Han said, ambiguous to the Enfys Nest in the crowd.

"All right, how about this?" Lando said, placing more money in the pot. "I'll see your bet, and I'll raise you. 2,000.

"I'll see your 2,000..." Han said, shoving a whole lot into the pot. "...and I'll raise you however much this is."

"Whoa, whoa, Han," Lando tells him. "Slow down. You might wanna quit while you're ahead."

"You might wanna quit while you're behind," Han stated.

The crowd ooo-ed while Lando laughed. "I like this kid. You're adorable."

"And I'm serious," Han stated.

"And I'm calling," Lasso promises.

"With what? Your scarf?" Han asked, seeing Lando was out. "Not my style."

"My ship. Against your ship." Lando tells him. "Time to find out if you got the nerve."

Han considered his hand and figured that he held the best hand in the house. "What the hell?" He then threw his cards down and revealed his hand. "Straight Staves."

That got an applause from the crowd and a few boos from Lando's side of the table. Everyone seemed to anonymously agree he must have won.

"You played me." Lando nodded. 'You're good. Yeah. You're very good." Han reached to get his winnings. "But not good enough." He then revealed his own hand, which was the most powerful hand in the game. "Full Sabacc." The crowd changed sides and cheered for Lando's winnings. "I told you to quit while you were ahead. Drinks on me!"

The one thing they missed was Lando had a contraption up his sleeve that gave him a card hidden. So when he needed it, he could pull it up, and get a winning hand last second. Han left to meet up with his friends, only to get some dirty looks as he managed to lose everything they had, and what they didn't even have. Beckett however left and seemed to go get some drinks while they were still playing.

"First of all, there's no way he could've had that green sylop." Han defended as they strolled through the crowd. "They'd all been played. Also, your guy Captain Wonderful is so full of Bantha crap..."

"Yoo-hoo!" Lando cried, getting their attention. He strolled over towards them. "Where's my VCX?"

"I don't have it right here now." Han lied. "It's in the shop. I'm getting some work done-"

"Lando," Lena called out, getting his attention.

Lando turned to face them and seemed shocked. "Lena. Claire. You both are looking phenomenal. As always."

"Well, I didn't know I was gonna see you." Lena quipped.

"What are you two doing with hairy and the boy?" Lando asked as he looked at Chewbacca and Han, noticing Pace and Casey. "And what looks to be some scrawny kid and archer?" He then noticed Qi'ra and immediately turned on the charm. "Hello. And who might you be?"

"Qi'ra." She introduced herself and it seemed to irritate Han.

"We're kinda fugitives of the Empire as of late," Lena explained her situation, getting his focus back on her. "They're our help."

"Good help is hard to find, no?" Lando asked. "I thought Claire here was more than capable of taking the Empire alone."

"Well..." Lena shrugged.

"We're more like partners." Han defended. "We are."

"Excuse us," Lando said as he walked off with Claire and Lena. "So, what brings you out here looking for me?"

"We're on a job, and we need a ship," Lena explained.

"And what exactly do you need my ship for?" Lando asks. "You know you could have asked. We could chip it into a favor between friends."

"Your favors always cost, Lando," Claire said as she and Lena knew him better than that. "And we're making the Kessel Run."

"The Kessel Run," Lando said in surprise. "That's no easy spin. I'm gonna need half the take."

"Ridiculous." Casey scoffed.

"Grown-ups are talking," Lando tells them.

"25%," Beckett stated as he snuck up on Lando.

Lando was spooked by him as he turned to face him. "You're Tobias Beckett." He said as Beckett poured himself another drink. "You killed Aurra Sing."

"Pushed her," Beckett replied. "Pretty sure the fall killed her."

"You did the galaxy a favor day," Lando tells him. Me especially. I owed her a lot of money. And as a token of my gratitude, I'm willing to do this for 40%."

Beckett approached, spooking Lando as he took a few steps back. "25."

"25% works." Lando decided to agree on, spooked by Beckett.

"No! Unacceptable!" A droid called, getting them to look over and see a droid protesting the droid fights. "Stop exploiting droids! You sloppy degenerate bios!"

Lando seemed to know who she was and sighed. "She never learns."

"Who?" Casey asks.

"My first mate," Lando explained as he approached the droid fighting ring.

"You got no business being here. Get out of here!" Someone cried.

"How can you condone this savagery?" the droid called in anger. She then tried to get the attention of the droid in the cage. "You, you. You should not be doing this. They're using you for entertainment. Yeah. You've been neurowashed. Don't just blindly follow the program. Exercise some free will!

Then a robot hand was thrown at her, causing her to see the man in the ring. "Stay away from him! He's never had it so good."

"Really? How about you have a go at me, ya lumpy brute." She dared him.

"Bring it on! Come on!"

"L3!" Lando called out.

"Droid rights! We are sentient!" The named L3 called out.

"I'm gonna flip your switch." the man in the ring promised, stepping out and marching towards L3.

But L3 then grabbed him by the face and shoved him against the cage. " Good luck finding it.

"L3!" Lando called out again, getting her to face him. "Let go of the mean man's face. We're leaving."

"They don't even serve our kind here," L3 stated.

"Now," Lando demanded.

L3 did as he asked, letting him go where she saw Lena and Claire. "Lena? Claire? Surprised to see you two in this hellhole."

"L3." Claire was happy to see her. "Figured Lando would have tried to sell you or something by now."

"Lando could never part with me. I wouldn't let him." L3 stated as she eyed the boys. "Who are these guys?"

"We're taking them to Kessel," Lando explained.

"Are we?" L3 asked, wondering where her say in this is. "And what if I don't elect to go to Kessel?"

Lando sighed as he led them off to where he kept his ship. "Please don't start."

"Or what, you'll have me wiped?" L3 asked with a scoff. "You couldn't get from here to Black Spire without me. Now you're gonna make the Kessel Run?"

"If she doesn't wanna fly, I'll be your co-pilot," Han promises. "I don't mind."

"No, no, no. It's okay." Lando promised. "She's definitely going."

"Why? Because you're my organic overlord?" L3 asks.

"Because I'm your captain, how about that?" Lando asked sarcastically.

One of the residents of the bar watched the crew leave and walked off, creating a comm between Graballa and himself. "Omni, not the best time. I'm going through some things."

"I have information on that bounty you're looking for," Omni informed him. "And I know where they're going."

"You do?" Graballa asked in shock. "Oh, Omni, I'm about to make you a very rich... whatever you are."

"I actually would have her memory wiped, but she's got the best damn navigational database in the galaxy. Could use a fresh coat of paint, though!"

"Landonis, you do not want to press that button with me," L3 warned him.

"You know, a lot of ships around here get boosted," Lando said as he strolled over to the locked gate. "So, I keep mine locked up. You know, for safety."

"Sure." Lena chuckled. "And it's not because you don't pay to keep it parked."

"L3, do you mind?" Lando asks.

L3 sighed as she walked over and pulled a small saw from her compartments. "Look away. I can't perform with you looking at me."

"Please indulge her," Lando asks.

The group scoffed and turned away so that she could accomplish the task. Han tried to turn and take a peek while L3 was still sawing through the lock. "I can feel you looking at me."

L3 then managed to break through the lock and they made their way through the gate towards his ship.

"What are we doing here?" Han asks. "This guy's a hustler. I don't even think he's got a ship. If he does, it's gonna be a piece of junk if it's even here."

You're in for a surprise, Han," Lena promises as they find his ship.

Corellian YT-1300 was a model of freighter and transport manufactured by the Corellian Engineering Corporation. Some of the vessels saw service as intermodal tugs in orbital freight yards, as the vessel's side-mounted cockpit and front-facing mandibles allowed it to push containers.

"There she is, my pride and joy," Lando said, seeing the looks of awe from the few who had never seen his ship before. "The Millennium Falcon."

"Looks like you had a little work done," Han commented.

"Indeed I have, Han." Lando proclaimed, still getting his name wrong. "Installed an escape pod in the mandible notch, alluvial dampers, a wet bar."

"And a fortified infraction restraint on the landing gear," Beckett commented as he eyed the restraint on his landing gear. "Looks to me like they impounded your ship, Lando."

"This is unbelievable!" Lando stated.

"Yet I saw it coming." Claire shrugged.

"I'm definitely gonna have some words with someone about this," Lando promises. "You must have experience with these, right?"

"Yeah, I could take it off," Casey promises him, picking at his arrow stash.

"Fantastic!" Lando said.

"But it'll take five percent off your cut," Casey warned him. "You're down to 20."

Lando was about to argue, but considering the man was holding an arrow, and it was just a few inches from his chest, he wasn't going to risk it. "I don't like it. I don't agree with it. But I accept it."

"You're getting the hang of this, kid." Beckett was proud of Casey's skills.

Casey walked over and tossed his arrow. The arrow was implanted into the restraint device, and acid began to leak from it. The acid was quick to eat away at the metal, helping them quickly get out and begin to take off. A bit of a distance away, Enfys Nest was watching as one of the spies in the bar approached.

"Your plan is underway, Enfys." He promised. "We've attached the homing beacon. They won't elude us now."

"Good." Enfys Nest said. "If they survive, they'll bring the prize to us."

Back inside of the ship, Han was strolling down the halls of the Millennium Falcon, making their way for the Kessel Run. Han walked down the halls of the ship and found himself in the pod with the controls and Lando at the wheel.

"This is a Corellian YT-1300." Han recognized.

"You know your stuff," Lando commented.

"I've been on one before," Han admitted. "My dad worked the line at the CEC plant before he got laid off. He built these. He wanted to be a pilot, but..."

"You, close with your old man?" Lando asked.

"Not really," Han admitted.

"Yeah, me neither." Lando agreed. "My mom, on the other hand, most amazing woman I've ever known."

Han took a seat in the copilot seat to get a feel for it. He then reached out to touch the wheel but was stopped when L3 entered the room. "Excuse me. Get your presumptuous ass out of my seat!" Han did as she asked and backed off, allowing her to take the seat. "My sacral-occipital circuit is sticking." She then turned to Lando. "You're gonna have to do that thing again later."

Lando sighed as he nodded. "Yeah."

"All right, course to Kessel is set," L3 said as she flipped a few switches. "Plugging coordinates in now. Just keep your pinky on the yoke, and try not to mess anything up."

"Whatever you say, my lady," Lando said. "Just let me know when you're ready to jump."

"Ready in..." L3 seemed to be making some calculations with her navigational systems. "Ready."

"It's just a simple jump to hyperspace, and we're there," Han commented. "What's so tricky about that?"

"Plenty," Lando informed him. "Can't plot a direct course to Kessel. You have to thread through the Si'Klaata Cluster and then...pass through The Maelstrom.

"You done flirting?" L3 asks. "I'm still ready."

Lando rolled his eyes as he looked at Han. "You might wanna buckle up, baby."

Han nodded as he took a seat in the back chair, watching as Lando and L3 pilot the ship. As they took off into Hyperspace, Han admired the scenery as they flew off to their destination.

Across the galaxy, heading in the same direction, The Stellar Sentinel glided gracefully through the swirling depths of the Hyperspace lane, propelling the crew closer to the infamous planet of Kessel. As the ship hummed with activity, the members of the rogue crew diligently prepared themselves for the perilous mission that awaited them.

Amidst the hustle and bustle, Peter retreated to his quarters to replenish his web cartridges, ensuring that he was fully equipped for the challenges that lay ahead. As he emerged from his room, a sudden commotion caught his attention, causing him to pause in the corridor. Straining his ears, he discerned the sound of swiftly moving objects and a frustrated voice emanating from Kate's room.

Curiosity piqued, Peter approached Kate's door and rapped gently, prompting the portal to glide open with a faint hiss. Stepping inside, he beheld Kate, the skilled archer of the crew, struggling with her mechanical arm. Her determined expression bore testimony to her tenacity, but the unfortunate result of her efforts lay before her - a broken bow and a look of exasperation.

It was evident that Kate was grappling with the intricacies of her newly acquired mechanical appendage, and the challenges she faced were a poignant reminder of the difficulties that adaptation brought to their unconventional lives aboard the Stellar Sentinel.

"Do you not know how to knock?" Kate asked in anger.

"No," Peter said as he gestured to his fist and the doorway. "I knocked. The doors... seems they still need some maintenance."

"What do you want?" Kate washed as she started to fix her bow.

"Sorry. I just... I heard you seemed to be struggling." Peter explained.

"This stupid..." Kate groaned as she looked down at her hand. She missed the feeling of touch with it. "...this arm. I..." She then clutched her fist and punched a wall, causing it to bend. "AH!"

Peter froze and looked between the arm and the wall. "Uh... I don't know what to really go from here without ending like that wall..."

"It's fine," Kate said as she sighed and sat on the bed. "I...I can't expect you to understand."

"What is it like for your body to be one thing and miss how it was before?" Peter asked as he seemed to understand. Kate then realized what he was saying since she knew about his powers and what it used to be. "Yeah, I get it. I used to be human." He then strolled over and sat next to her. "Now I got spider blood in me."

"What is wrong with us?" Kate sighed. "We used to be normal."

"Life just... not fair to us," Peter stated as he reached out to caress her mechanical hand.

"How useful am I?" Kate asks. "I can barely fire an arrow."

"You think shooting arrows is all you are here for?" Peter questioned. "You are a good shooter, but you have a heart, a brain... and you never quit." He then got Kate to look into his eyes. "You're Kate Bishop. You came from a wealthy family, yet used your money to get the skills to help better the city. You looked up to Hawkeye because he showed you that being a hero isn't just for people who can fly or shoot lasers out of their hands. It's for anyone who's brave enough to do what's right, no matter the cost." Kate chuckled and looked into his eyes, seeing he genuinely meant everything. "You're a hero, Kate Bishop. A friend. And you will always have a home amongst us."

Peter was taken by surprise as Kate's radiant smile lit up her face, and she leaned in to kiss him. As they both moved closer, their intimate moment was suddenly interrupted by a series of brisk knocks on the door. The interruption came from none other than Rex, who had been the one knocking. Startled, he quickly realized that he had unwittingly disrupted a private moment and promptly turned away, unintentionally spoiling the special moment between Peter and Kate.

"Uh...sorry, was I interrupting something?" Rex asks.

"No, we were just..." Kate stood up and fixed her bow. "Just talking."

"Strategizing," Peter confirmed. "We good?"

"Yeah," Kate confirmed as she blushed a little. "We're good."

Peter and Rex then left and started to head to the head of the ship. "So what's up?" Peter asked.

"Well, we're about to exit Hyperspace," Rex explained. "Uh, sir, if I interrupted something... you can tell me."

"When? With me and Kate?" Peter asked with a shrug. "No, you're good."

"It looked like I was interrupting." Rex stared.

"No, trust me, Rex, everything is fine," Peter promises as they then make it to the wardrobe portion of the ship. "Now, let's find ourselves something to conceal ourselves as slaves."

"For a second time," Rex sighed as he did so, dropping the apparently touchy subject.

Beckett and Chewbacca were engrossed in a game of holo-chess, with Casey, Claire, Qi'ra, and Pace looking on. The girls stood in support of their Wookiee companion, while the boys rallied behind Beckett. As the game progressed, it was clear Chewie was on the losing end, and everyone was well aware of a Wookiee's temper when defeat loomed. Han strolled into the room and watched the game from the other chair in the room.

"Think," Beckett warned Chewbacca, seeing the move he was going to make. "Do you wanna make that move?" Chewie went to make his move, while Beckett tried to help. "Do you wanna make that move?"

Chewbacca then went for it and made his move, moving one of the pieces to take out one of Beckett's pawns.

"You made that move, okay," Beckett tried to warn him. "I guess I have to destroy that little guy." He then took out Chewbacca's remaining character, winning the game. "Somehow I never get bored with winning."

In a fit of frustration, Chewbacca tried to wipe the players off the board, but they didn't go anywhere due to being holograms. "No, you can't wipe them off. They're holograms."

"Hey, hey, hey! Chewie, relax!" Claire tried to calm their friend down.

"Hey, try to compose yourself," Beckett tells him. "Look. All you gotta do is think a few moves ahead and anticipate your opponent. There's a lesson to be learned here."

"Outthinking your opponent is not a bad strategy." Casey agreed with Beckett. "But that isn't exactly something you can bring to every fight."

"Dropping out of lightspeed now," L3 tells Lando as they come out. "Ready to..."

"The Akkadese Maelstrom." Lando took in the sight of the ship's graveyard. "I'm gonna go check on the dampers. Do you need anything?"

"Equal rights?" L3 asked.

Lando rolled his eyes and exited as there were massive explosions going on in the vacuum of space. Qi'ra became curious as she strolled in, wondering what the noise was.

"What's that sound?" Qi'ra asks.

"Carbonbergs, the size of planets, crashing into each other," L3 explained. "Ships fly in there, they never come out."

"Yikes," Casey said as he entered with the rest of the team entering, then saw the ship was coming in for a landing.

"It's ionized gas, water vapor, possibly vacuum-breathing life forms swirling around The Maw," Lando explained as he returned to land the ship. "Only way in or out is this channel."

"This is a precision job," Beckett warned them. "Thermal vault will be on the lowest level. Down where it's warm. The only way we're gonna pull this off is if everybody plays their part. Stick to the plan. Do not improvise."

"Mining colonies are the worst," Lando said as he looked down at the mining colony they were approaching.

"Yeah well, the worst is where the money is," Beckett said as they came in for a landing, and needed to get a few other things prepared. "All right, people. Time to shine."

Parking the Millennium Falcon, Lando stayed behind as their getaway driver for when the mission was completed since he wasn't exactly necessary for this part of the plan.

Beckett, Casey, Lena, and Qi'ra were going to keep the boss and guards busy in the control room. Keep them from harming Casey, Han, Chewbacca, and Pace we're going to pretend to be prisoners to be traded as slaves. L3 was coming along as the interpreter, while Claire and Beckett were going along as Qi'ra's security details. Chewbacca is infuriated by the chains, as he doesn't seem to enjoy the chains on him as it brings back bad memories of his home world.

"It won't be for long," Han assured him.

"Shut up, the both of you," Claire tells him.

Qi'ra approached and tried to put on a higher arch stand. "I am Oksana Floren, Deputy Assistant Administrator to the Vice-Admiral of the Federation of Trade Route Allocation and Monetization. Here with an offer from his eminence, the Senior Vice-Admiral. Your spice for our hard-working slaves. I brought you a sample. Tuul bring forth the merchandise."

Han, Casey, and Pace were shoved forward on their knees. They knew it was part of the plan, but it was still painful. Their leader spoke, and Qi'ra looked to L3 for a translation.

"Director Tolsite said our slaves should follow those guys, to get clipped and tagged." L3 translated.

"What are they clipping?" Casey asked in fear.

"Mhm," L3 said.

Then she follows Qi'ra, and Claire and Beckett follow. The boys were being dragged when all of a sudden they watched as another ship came on for a landing. The ship was the Stellar Sentinal, making its way down to make a landing. Peter and Rex were being dragged out by Kyle as he held the chains that were strapped to Peter and Rex. Peter could break out of them whenever they needed to. Kate marched forward wearing a few clothes that they cut to look more or less like fancy clothing.

"I am Tressk Long," Kate tells them. "With a gift from the Ashiga Clan."

The crew were shocked and a little worried by the intervention, and watched as Rex and Peter were beginning to be inspected. Peter groaned as they were zapped by that electrical rod, being forced to their feet. The leader then gestured for Kate to follow him, as she and Qi'ra followed with Kyle following Beckett.

The rest of them were led into the caves as they were beginning to be brought to the control area. "He says all systems in this sector of the facility operate out of this room." L3 kept on being the communicator. "It's how they're able to maintain control over so many with so few." They saw on the monitors as their friends were being zapped and led into an elevator without cameras. "The director says their reconditioning process is excruciating but effective." They were then led over to the office, where Beckett and Kyle were stopped. "He said your security attache can wait there. Surely we don't need him to negotiate."

"Wait there," Qi'ra tells her friends.

"Try not to bother anyone," Kate tells them and Cheep as the doors closed.

In the elevator, the moment that they had a second, Peter ripped out of his chains and attacked the guard. Rex then dropped the chains, revealing they weren't connected. Chewie and Han then worked together, taking one of their rods and Chewbacca ripping off one of their arms. Casey snapped his finger to slip out of the chains, whipping them around the neck of one of the guards and smashing them into the wall. Pace only squealed and hid in the corner of the elevator.

"Nice!" Han scoffed. "That was the uniform that would've fit me perfectly but, it's fine."

"Chewwie?" Peter asked, getting their attention as the Wookie eyed Peter. He gave the Wookie a closer look and grew excited. "Chewbacca! It's me? Peter? Spider-Man?"

Chewbacca took a close look and seemed to recognize Peter, earning a growl and him pulling Peter in closer for a hug. He laughed as the Wookie then scratched his head in happiness, earning a chuckle from Peter.

"Ah, it is so good to see you again, you old fur ball!" Peter proclaimed as he gave Chewie a friendly shove.

"Uh, sir?" Rex called, confused about how they knew each other.

"Oh, Rex, yeah, you two never met," Peter said as he looked at Chewbacca. "This is Chewbacca. The Wookie that helped me when those hunters kidnapped me and Ahsoka."

Chewie growled, stating how he thought Peter was dead.

"Ah, you think some blaster fire is gonna keep me down?" Peter asked as he gave Chewie a smack on the shoulder. "Nah, I managed to escape. Guess you aren't keeping up with the news since I am currently public enemy number 1."

Chewie growled, stating Peter did somehow always find his way into trouble.

"You jump off a hover platform one time..." Peter joked. "So, what are you doing here?"

Chewbacca then explained everything to him.

"Coaxium?" Peter asked in surprise. "Oh, well we are here to free the Wookies."

"Seriously?" Casey asked as he drew his bow and arrows from his back.

"You saw our ship." Rex shrugged. "Let's just hope the others do their part of the plan."

Back in the control room, Cheep was hard at work on deactivating the cameras, just as Beckett then reacted and threw his rod at the two guards at the door. "You hold this for me?"

Beckett then shot the two of them with the blasters he was hiding, and Kyle shot the remaining few guards in the room before aiming his blaster at Beckett. "There are two ways this can go."

"Yeah, and one of them is you putting down your blaster," Beckett tells him.

Inside the room, Kate reacted quickly as she drew an arrow from her back and stabbed the Pyke, sending him stumbling into Claire who drew her batons and smacked the Pyke, while Lena and Qi'ra drew their blasters at Kate.

"It has come to my attention that we all might be here to rob the place," Kate tells them, watching the door open.

"What the hell is going on here?" Beckett asks.

Cheep then rolled up and grunted and whistled. None of them understood what he was saying, all but L3. "He says that your friends are safe. And something about finding an old friend who is a Wookie."

"That Wookie is with us," Lena informed Kate.

"What Wookie?" Kyle asks.

"Don't look at me," Kate said. "I have no idea what they have gotten into."

"What is your score?" Kyle asks Beckett.

"We're here for the Coaxium," Beckett informed them.

"Oh, is that all?" Kate asked as she lowered her gun. "I thought you guys were with the Syndicates."

"Well..." Lena shrugged.

"Let's not," Claire whispered.

"We're only here to liberate the slaves," Kyle admitted as he lowered his blaster with Beckett. "Cheep, you working on that?"

Cheep grunted that he needed some help, seemingly there were too many passcodes for him to do alone. "I can give you a hand with that," L3 said as she walked over to help. "So, Cheep?"

Cheep grunted, confessing where they got the name from.

"Oh, CH-33P, I get it," L3 said. She then walked up to one of the droids who were busy at work. "Excuse me. I need to use this terminal." The droid however hasn't moved. "Hello?" She then tapped the side of his head. "Can you hear me?"

Cheep grunted, informing her of the restraining bolts on him.

"Restraining bolts...Barbaric." L3 whispered as she pulled out a small knife and used that to then yank the restraining bolt off. "Congratulations! You're liberated. Scoot."

The droid whistled, asking what it was supposed to do now.

"I don't know," L3 said. "Free your brothers and sisters or something. Just give me some space." She then got to work on helping Cheep get through their securities and find the blueprints and layout of the building. "I'm in!"

"Han, can you hear me?"

"Pete, you there?"

"I kinda need to know which way to go here," Han said.

Down in the mines, Han and Pace pretended that Casey and Chewie were their prisoners, while Peter took Rex and they made their way towards the cells. They were going to free the prisoners that were in the cells since Cheep could shut down the controls from the control room.

"L3?"

"The thermal vault is down two levels, then left, then right, then it's the third left," L3 told him.

"Right. That's a lot of directions, but we're on it." Han said.

"They're in subsector four, coming up on gate X-3-7-1-K," Lena informed them. "Overriding!"

Cheep is helping the rest of the droids by removing their restraining bolts, destroying control consoles, and creating a prison breakout.

"Freedom." One of the droids says as they hit the controls, releasing all of the prisoners. This created a massive prison breakout, giving the prisoners a chance to fight back against the captors.

Peter shot out a web and yanked one of the guards while Rex fired on the two other ones. "What the hell are you guys doing up there?" He asked, shooting another web off.

"The droid and I have created a distraction!" L3 said as Cheep spun his head in victory.

Claire was looking at the cameras and saw there was a fight going on. "A prison breakout? Yes!" She then drew her batons and raced for the exit. "I'll meet you guys at the Falcon!"

"Wait, where are you going?" Pace asks her.

Claire struck the guards that were approaching and knocked them over the head with her batons. "What does it look like, I'm joining the fight and there's no way that I'm missing this."

Beckett tried to stop her. "Hey, no time for that. We got to stick with the plan and-" But the girl wasn't listening and just kept running. "Claire, get back here! Claire!"

Lena sighed and saw it was a lost cause. "Don't bother, Beckett. Once she sees a fight, there's no way of talking her out of it."

Kyle scoffed as he turned to his team. "Wow, and you guys thought Mandalorians were crazy."

Han, Casey, and Chewie were working their way through the crowd of chaos going on around them. The prisoners were either killing guards, trying to find a way out, or destroying everything they could get their hands on. Chewie however heard the roars of someone familiar and looked over to see some of his old war friends in turmoil.

"Come on, we gotta get the Coaxium." Casey reminded Chewie of the job.

Chewie looked back over and Han saw what he was thinking. "Hey! Remember what Beckett said, stick to the plan." Chewie however still didn't seem convinced. "Chewie! Come on, let's go!" Han however saw Chewie was going off course to do and sighed. "Fine!"

Pace then walked off but then recognized he still had the taser and walked back to Chewie. "Chewie! Here, you might need this."

Chewie caught the rod and thanked his friend.

"Hope I see you around sometime," Han said with a nod. "Casey, come on!"

Casey nodded to Chewie and ran off with them. Chewie nodded before running towards his friends, using his rod to attack them.

"Han, where are you?" Beckett asks.

"We're on our way to the vault," Han said.

"But we lost Chewie," Pace warned them.

"He's dead?" Lena asked.

"No, he had something he had to do," Han explained.

"Is he coming back?" Lena wonders.

"I don't know," Casey said as they found the vault.

"Okay, we're at the vault," Pace said.

Casey then saw there was one guard, pulled out his arrow, and shot it with his bow. The arrow pierced the weak spot in the Pyke armor and dropped the Pyke easily.

"That was impressive," Han said.

"We're clear," Casey said as they reached the vault.

The vault doors were opened by them in the control room. They walked inside and saw the canisters filled with Coaxium. "Now what?" Han asks.

"Okay, each canister should be equipped with a thermal display," Qi'ra tells them.

Casey looked over one of the devices and confirmed it. "Yeah, I see it."

"If the internal temperature reaches below 35 standard, then the coaxium will destabilize and explode," Beckett said.

Han, Pace, and Casey took a canister each, moving them onto a cart of sorts so they didn't need to carry it. "Yup, I get it, guys." Han winced as they looked lighter than they were. "It's dangerous."

Okay, that's two." Casey said.

"Great. Only nine more to go," Lena tells them.

"Nine?" They cried in exhaustion.

Outside, Amber was keeping their ship ready for take-off whilst also keeping up her training with the Holocron that she was given by Bo-Katan, as well as a few that Ahsoka gave to Peter when they accidentally crossed paths. She gave them so that Amber could have the teachings that she had from Anakin. She was working on her training, spinning her sabers in the many combat forms.

"Concentrate." The hologram of Anakin said. "In this war, you will face more than droids. General Grievous, Assajj Ventriss, Count Douku, you could face any of them on the battlefront. I won't always be there to look out for you. If we get separated or something happens, you need to be able to make it on your own. Don't be afraid. Just remember what I taught you and trust your instincts. I know you can do this, Ahsoka."

Amber swiftly blacked out the private section of the communication and realized that she would have to make do with minimal training. As she focused on her training, she suddenly heard a cacophony of screams, prompting her to dash to the front of the ship. Peering out of the front window, she was greeted with the sight of a massive breakout unfolding before her eyes.

Meanwhile, Lando was engrossed in doing his autobiography aboard the Falcon when he was jolted by the commotion. Hastily, he turned to look out of the window and witnessed the alarming scene of a massive breakout unfolding outside.

Amber contacted her team from the ship. "Um, guys you are..."

"...Not gonna believe what I'm seeing," Lando said in the Falcon.

"Is it a mass breakout?" L3 asks.

Cheep grunted for Amber, confirming her suspicions.

Lando groaned. "L3, what did you do?"

Amber scoffed when she heard what Cheep said. "Cheep, this isn't part of the plan! What have you done?"

"I found my true purpose, Lando. That's what I've done with my new friend's help." L3 cheered into the comm.

Lando was a little confused when he heard that. "Friend?"

Cheep is cheering with his arms up as the chaos keeps going on around him. Sparks were flying everywhere, robots were destroying the controls, freeing everyone from the Pykes.

L3 nodded as she faced Cheep with her fist raised high. "You said it, CH-33P! I'm so glad we took this job!"

Lando sighs. "That droid!"

Amber sighed and rubbed her head. "I swear, that rust bucket is gonna get us into a lot of trouble!" Amber then saw a load of them were coming for the ship, and some of them were the Pykes. "I'll get the slaves on board, you guys take down the Pykes!"

"Working on it!" Peter cried.

"We'll come and help," Kate said as she drew her bow and arrow. "Kyle?"

"I'm coming," Kyle said as they ran to protect their ride out of here.

"L3, come on!" Qi'ra said as they walked off.

"Follow me, compatriots!" L3 tells her droids.

Han, Casey, and Pace were working on moving through the chaos with the Coaxium when they were spotted by the guards as they approached. "Another couple of guards just spotted us."

"I don't have a free hand to take them out," Pace said as he tried to help push the Coaxium, moving back to the guards. "What do we do?"

"Improvise," Beckett said.

"You said never improvise!" Han cried.

Casey groaned as he let go and drew a split arrow. "Hi!" He then fired the arrow but ended up shooting one of the prisoners as they ran in the pathway. "Whoops..."

Before Casey could draw another arrow, a Wookie came out and tackled the one that he missed, and slammed the Pyke into the ground. Chewie then came and tackled another one, whilst they were being helped by Peter and Rex who came in and leaped onto the cave ceiling, webbing the Pykes that Rex then shot.

"Thanks," Casey tells them.

"Yeah, don't mention it," Peter said as he nodded to Chewie. He and Rex then backed off, beginning to make their way off. "Chewie? Good luck with... whatever this is!"

Chewie growled and wished them good luck as well.

Chewie and his friends were beginning to help push the cart with Han and Pace while Casey kept an eye out for any more guards. Anyone who came too close and tried to attack them ended up getting struck with an arrow as he ran, sliding against the sand and shooting multiple arrows that caused explosions.

"Hi, I'm Han." Han introduced himself to the Wookies.

The Wookie nodded and said his name was Sagwa and scruffed up Han's hair.

"Alright." Han guessed.

Outside, the entire landing bay was engulfed in chaos. Amidst the madness, Peter and Rex bravely wielded their blasters, using all their strength to navigate through the mayhem. Their mission was to lead the Wookie slaves to safety and get them aboard their ship for the journey home.

In the midst of the turmoil, Kate dashed into the scene, swiftly firing an arrow that triggered a gravity spike, diverting the attention of the Pykes and guards. This strategic move provided her with the opportunity to unleash a barrage of arrows, coupled with agile hand-to-hand combat, incapacitating her foes one by one. With precision, she aimed and released another arrow, swiftly spinning around before triggering a detonation, causing a powerful explosion as it struck the generators.

Claire ran around as she threw her batons, knocking into a few of the Pykes before drawing her blaster and opening fire on the monsters that run the mines. She shot and spun around with glee. She really did enjoy the thrill of the battle. Lena came running and followed her friend to avoid the chaos since she didn't have a blaster on her. Qi'ra ran out and opened fire as she shot the Pykes as they made their way toward the Falcon.

Han, Casey, and Pace were able to get the Coaxium loaded with the Wookies helping them.

L3 and Cheep cheered as they saw the chaos that they managed to cause. "Rebellion!"

Claire laughed and joined in. "Rebellion!" She spun around, shooting around, and ended up only hitting the Pykes.

Kate was shocked at this girl and spun an arrow in her hand before impaling it into a Pyke. "Is that girl crazy?"

Lena kept her head down and nodded. "You have no idea."

The Protectors then ran off towards their ship, where Amber was blocking the blaster fire that she could while using her saber. It wasn't much blaster fire, but she needed to protect their ship, otherwise they would be stuck here. She then ran and struck one of the Pykes, spinning to use the force on the dirt to create a dust cloud that blinded the Pykes.

That gave the others a chance to come in as Peter shot webs to throw their weapons, and Kate shot a few of them with arrows. Cheep even knocked one of them over with his tazer. Rex shot them using his blasters, and they made their way into the Stellar Sentinal. Peter stopped and turned back to get the Wookies on board the ship.

"Come on!" Peter told them.

As another ship descended for a landing, Graballa emerged accompanied by his two intimidating goons, each wielding menacing blasters. "Time to settle a score, crooks!" he proclaimed as they stepped onto the scene. Observing the commotion around them, Graballa's attention shifted. "Alright, score settled! I feel good! You feel good?" he inquired of his men amidst the surrounding chaos. "Do you?"

"I feel great." He said.

They then ran back into their ship and flew off, leaving the chaos behind.

"They're going for the landing gear!" Qi'ra warned. "We've gotta get out of here!"

"We need to keep them away from those cannons!" Beckett stated as they kept shooting.

Casey came running out to inform them they stored the Coaxium. "Coaxium's stowed! Let's go!"

"Where's L3?" Lando asks.

"No more subjugation!" L3 cried before suddenly being shot.

"L3!" Lando cried as he ran to her.

"No, Lando! Get back here!" Beckett demanded him. "Lando!"

Lando skidded down next to L3. "System failure." She said. "Have to reroute the sensory modulators."

"It's all right," Lando said in worry. "Save your energy. I'm gonna get you outta here. All right?"

"System failure, failure. Rerouting."

Lando tried to pick her up, but the droid was heavy. "Damn it!"

Casey let out a sigh and dashed off in the direction of Lando. Pulling back the bowstring, he released another arrow, which in turn unleashed several small detonators. The detonators exploded, engulfing Lando in a dense cloud of dust. Meanwhile, Han hurried over and took down a few of the Pykes, assisting Lando in picking up L3 as they made a run for the Falcon.

Qi'ra and Claire came out throwing grenades. The explosions went off, creating a giant wall of fire, separating the Falcon from the rest of the Pykes. Claire throws the last grenade and it explodes, raises her fist in the air of excitement.

"WHOOO! THAT WAS AWESOME! OKAY, WHO'S NEXT!?" Claire asked as she spun around in glee.

Qi'ra ran to the hangar when she saw she was spinning around. "Claire, no time for that! Come on!"

Claire moaned in sadness. "Now?! Awww, but, I'm dying for some more action!"

Lena became stern in demanding her to come. "Claire, now!"

Claire sighs in defeat. "Fine!"

As they sprinted towards the ship, they looked on as the Stellar Sentinel lifted off, carrying the Protectors to safety. They took off and flew as the Wookies were going to be brought home. They ran onto the Falcon where Lando dropped down with L3 in the common room area.

"It's okay, you'll be fine," Lando told L3 as she kept going off.

"Restart. It's not responding. Not responding."

"Han, get us out of here," Beckett tells him.

"It's not responding."

"Han! Now!" Beckett ordered.

"On it." Han snapped out of it and ran towards the cockpit.

"Lando," L3 called.

"I'm here. It's all right, L3." Lando tells her.

"Lando...This is not..."

"It's okay, L3," Lando promised.

"Lando," L3 called.

"It's all right. I can fix you. I can fix you." Lando promises.

"Lando. What's happening to me?" L3 asked as her systems finally shut down.

"L3?" Lando called. "L3!" He cried in anguish, sorry that he did this to her. He teared up while the others were apologetic about her death. "I'm sorry, girl. I'm so sorry."

Han flew them off as they began to make their way back through the channel that the Stellar Sentinal also passed through. Qi'ra approached and saw the empty co-pilot seat.

"I could use a co-pilot," Han tells her.

Qi'ra took the seat as they made their way through the channel. Lando came in and they saw his arm was shot in the process and was wrapped up thanks to Lena.

"Sorry," Han said, which Lando nodded as he took a back seat.

"With the cargo we're carrying, if we don't make up some lost time we're gonna be in real trouble," Lando warned them.

Pace then came in when he saw something in the distance. "How about that? Is that real trouble?"

They saw an Imperial Star Destroyer beginning to make its approach through the channel and towards them. The entire crew was now worried since half of them were either wanted by the Empire or currently smuggling illegal contraband.

"That is an Imperial blockade." Casey noticed.

"What's it doing here?" Casey wonders.

"Probably heard about the chaos we caused." Claire took a guess.

Lando shook his head in worry. "Nope. Not gonna make it. We're gonna have to drop the shipment."

Pace spun towards Lando. "What? Bad idea, man."

Lena agreed with him. "Yeah, if we don't deliver, Dryden will kill us."

Han shrugged. "Guys, come on, are they really gonna waste a TIE Fighter chasing down a little rinky-drink freighter? They let the other guys go, didn't they?"

The Star Destroyer then sends TIE Fighters off towards them. Casey eyed Han. "Does that answer your question?"

"Yeah, I got it!" Han cried.

"Usually, in situations like this I like to turn around in the opposite direction," Lando said.

But Han already went into action as he quickly spun the Falcon around, leading the TIEs so they didn't catch up to them.

"I'm on the ventral gun," Beckett said as he ran off.

"I got the top gun!" Claire cried as she ran off towards the gunner.

"It's an easy equation," Lando stated. "We simply don't have enough time to get to Savareen before the canisters explode!"

"Just have to find a faster route," Han stated.

"There isn't one!" Pace reminded Han. "You can't make the Kessel Run in less than 20 parsecs."

"Watch me," Han stated as flew to avoid the blaster fire.

"How?" Casey was afraid to ask.

"Take a shortcut, through there," Han said as he pointed into the storm, out of the channel.

"Into The Maelstrom?" Qi'ra asked in fear.

"Spectacular way of killing us all, I'll give you that," Lando tells him.

"Can't do it without L3," Han said.

"She's gone!" Lando reminded him.

"You said yourself, she's got the best navigational database in the galaxy. If we remove her neural core, it's possible we can download her brain into the Falcon's navicomputer, right?" Han asked.

"Could we?" Casey asked Pace.

Pace shrugged as he considered it. "Theoretically." He decided to put on a brave face. "Only one way to find out."

"I got a really good feeling about this," Han said as he flew into the storm.

Pace held onto the back of Han's seat in worry. "Well, I got a really bad feeling about this."

As he flew inside, they immediately hit something, causing Han to flinch. "That's on me. Okay. Beckett, Claire, you see them?" Beckett, Claire, you see them?

"Like rashnold on a kalak." Beckett confirmed.

Han froze and saw none of them understood that reference. "I don't know what that means."

Claire tried to help. "Like a gingleson's pelt."

Han was still lost. "What? Are they or aren't they?"

Beckett and Claire groaned and cried out. "Yes, they're still on us!"

Lando ran towards L3 to remove the equipment that they needed. He watched the chaos go on as his ship was blown by the TIEs shooting, and running into the debris. "This is why... you never let anyone fly your ship." He stated, trying to get the equipment. "Come on!"

Claire was shooting the TIEs with Beckett, trying to help take them out. Beckett was shooting when one flew past, avoiding his shooting.

"Yeah, one just got past me," Beckett warned Claire.

"I'm on it!" Claire said as she spun and shot it down.

"Good going, Claire!" Beckett stated.

"We need to divert auxiliary power to the rear deflector shield," Han tells them.

"We definitely do!" Qi'ra stated.

Chewie then stepped in and was beginning to do just as they asked, surprising them.

"Since when do you know how to fly?" Casey asked him.

Chewie growled, revealing how old he was.

"190 years old?!" Han asked.

Chewie confirmed with a growl.

"You look great!" Lena tells him.

Qi'ra moved to get out of the seat. "Chewie, get in." She tells him. "Lena and I'll help Lando."

Chewie took the seat as the two of them then began to fly the Falcon, avoiding the debris, whilst Claire and Beckett continued to shoot the TIEs out of the sky. Qi'ra and Lena came out of the cockpit area and found the common area engulfed in flames. Qi'ra picked up one of the capes and began to try and stop the flames.

"That's my cape!" Lando cried. "That's a custom piece!"

Then during the chaos, only one TIE remained and managed to shoot the cannon Beckett was controlling. "What? Beckett, are you with us?:"

"We just lost the cannon!" Beckett warned him. "And I really hurt my thumbs."

"And I can't shake this last one," Claire warned as her gunner couldn't get underneath the Falcon. "You're gonna have to handle him, Han!"

Han tried to come up with an idea. "Drop the landing gear." He tells Chewie. "When I tell you, flood the intake and sweep to the bi-lats. We're gonna try a little something I picked up from my pal, Needles, the best street racer in all of Corellia."

Pace recalled what happened to him. "Yeah, until he crashed."

"And died, doing..." Casey said until he froze as he and Pace looked at each other with terror and realized Han's plan.

Pace looked to Han. "Wait...Han... you're not planning on..."

Casey looked in terror. "Oh, yes he is."

Han confirmed it as he spun the ship around. "Yes, I am!"

Han skillfully piloted the Falcon through the chaotic debris, using it to his advantage. As he expertly maneuvered the ship, pieces of rubble scattered from the wreckage, some even hitting the Falcon itself. Despite the TIE fighter's attempts to evade the obstacles, it couldn't escape the impending collision. The cloud of dust and debris engulfed the TIE, ultimately sending it crashing into the wreckage.

"Flood it, it's all yours!" Han told Chewie.

Chewie managed to get the Falcon off the ground, getting them off and into space and away from the debris.

"Nice move!" Casey said as he gave Han a shake in glee.

"Are we dead?" Pace asked, he was hiding behind Han's seat, his eyes closed.

"Not yet!" Han cried.

"Pull out her internal processor," Lando tells Qi'ra

"Sorry," Qi'ra said as she did as he asked, running to the cockpit. "We've got L3."

"Remove the mod calibrator," Pace tells her, getting to work on getting L3 as part of the ship. "Make sure the T-Line's connected." He tells her, watching as she follows his instructions.

"I'm gonna tuck it in," Qi'ra said as she did just that.

"That coaxium's getting real ripe," Beckett warned them.

"Okay," Lena said as she helped finish strapping L3 to the ship. The lights flickered as L3 was connected to the Falcon. "She's interfacing."

"She's part of the ship now." Lando was happy to say.

"Where the hell are we?" Claire asked as she joined.

"We're way off the edge of the map," Lando said. "Wait." He noticed a sort of map coming online. "L3's constructing a model of The Maelstrom. She says we're approaching The Maw."

"That doesn't sound like something we wanna be approaching," Lena added.

The ship hurtled through the tumultuous Maelstrom when suddenly all power went dark, plunging the crew into disorienting blackness. An eerie stillness enveloped them as they wondered what had caused the blackout. Then, as if answering their silent question, the lights flickered back to life, revealing a terrifying sight outside the ship.

A monstrous creature with writhing tendrils loomed in the dark void, sending shivers of fear down their spines. With a thunderous roar, Han shouted, "Hang on!" and skillfully steered the ship, evading the creature's grasp as it relentlessly pursued them through the abyss. "This is The Maw?"

"No, that's not The Maw," Lando said in terror. "I don't know what this is. That's a living thing."

"There!" Qi'ra said, looking out to see a giant black hole-looking fragment of space. "I am gonna guess that that's The Maw."

"It's a gravity well." Han took a guess. "I got an idea." He then picked up the speed as their creature was still giving chase.

"Don't fly toward it, Han!" Pace cried in fear.

"See if it goes for this," Han said as he reached out to flick a few switches.

"No, what are you doing?" Lando asks. "That's the escape pod!"

"I know," Han said, ejecting and launching the pod into space.

"Then why'd you do it?" Lando asks.

The creature then began to chase the pod, thinking it was them, while Han managed to maneuver the ship and get them away from the Maw. "That's why, baby." He stated, watching the creature beginning to be pulled into the gravity well.

Then there was a ping, getting Pace to see L3 found an escape. "She found a way out. 90 degrees, to the left... ish. Left-ish."

"I can't," Han tells him. "It's taking everything we got to stay out of The Maw."

"What does that mean?" Claire asks.

"It's pulling us in. We're stuck." Casey informed her,

"We have enough raw Coaxium to power a dozen destroyers." Qi'ra reminded them.

"Inject it into the fuel line, it'll blow up the ship," Pace warned her. "And if we are gonna do that, might as well go into the Maw!"

"Not the fuel line. But if we put one drop into the fusion reactor, it might just give us the kick we need." Lena gave an option.

"All right, I'm on it!" Beckett stated as he ran off to do just that.

Chewie growled, stating the obvious of how they were swirling around the Maw.

"I know, we're getting dragged in a circle," Han stated. "Once we get lined up, it's gonna be a straight shot. As soon as that Coaxium ignites, we're gonna tear out of here and the second we're clear of The Maelstrom, we jump to lightspeed."

"Beckett!" Casey called, seeing they were becoming lined up with their escape.

"Can't talk!" Beckett cried as he was extracting a small sample of the Coaxium.

Han took notice of the exit and saw the upcoming exit. "I see it."

"Beckett, hurry up!" Lena cried. "We only get one shot at this thing!"

"Shut up and let me do this!" Beckett stated as he ran over to the fusion reactor.

"Beckett, I'm gonna count you down!" Han warned him.

"Three! Two!" Han said, watching the ship about to be lined up. "Now!"

"Now?" Beckett asked.

"NOW!" Everyone shouted.

Beckett lowered the precious Coaxium carefully into the fuel line, and in that tense moment, the Falcon's powerful systems ground to a halt. As the ship was pulled toward the menacing Maw, the team feared that their mission would end in the desolate reaches of space, just as they were on the verge of securing their payment and evading the grip of the Empire.

Then, with a mighty roar, the engines surged back to life, propelling the Falcon away from the treacherous gravitational pull. The ship accelerated at incredible speed, vanishing into the vast expanse of space.

"Chewie, when I tell you kick out the thrusters and jump to lightspeed," Han said, watching as the hole they were making through was closing fast. Han spun the ship, getting them to turn and getting them out. "Punch it!"

As Chewie engaged the hyperdrive, the stars elongated into streaks of light as the Millennium Falcon surged into lightspeed, catapulting the ship out of the perilous Maelstrom and towards safety. The powerful acceleration pushed the entire team back, as they struggled to brace themselves against the incredible force exerted by the ship's velocity.

With determination, they set their course for Savareen, their destination looming in the distance. And just in the nick of time, as the Coaxium was about to explode if they didn't get it refined quickly enough.
