Chapter 12
His lips were soft, warm, and tasted like tequila. His hands were warm against my cool skin. He was making my cells come to life. I quickly ran my hands through his short hair, then locked together around his neck. Between the passion and liquor we fell on the couch. We broke the kiss so that our shirts could come off. As soon as they were off, I ran my hands down his stomach back up chest. Slowly tracing his tattoo. I gave him a small smirk and pulled his face back to mine. He let out a low growl which made me let out a little moan.
He took one hand and held my face to his while the other slowly traced my tattoo that ran under my breasts. His breath was causing my skin to warm up in a way I never knew was possible. He left my lips and started to kiss my neck and take off my bra. He knew what he was doing, because with one hand my bra popped off and joined the crumpled up shirts. He started kissing and nipping down towards my breasts. As he made his way down, the hand that was tracing my tattoo made its way up to one of my nipples. Slowly he started to circle it. Then his mouth covered the other one. His tongue flicked it and swirled it around. My back started to arch with enjoyment. I could feel him smile. I bit my lip and was able to put my hands on his shoulders and push him back. There he was kneeling in front of me. I used my speed to switch our positions. He looked kind of shocked but that was quickly replaced with lust. His tongue slowly ran against his lower lip. I started to kiss his muscular stomach down to his pant line. As I slowly started to undo his buttons, I heard him suck in. As I started to slowly undo the zipper, there was a sudden slamming of the door opening.
I whipped around baring my fangs, and there stood Sam and Bianca blushing in the doorway. As soon as I noticed who was there, I clicked my fangs back and grabbed the blanket that was sitting on the couch.
"You know there is such a thing called knocking!?" I managed to choke out.
"Uhh.. we did. A few times actually. Bianca just told me to go in.." Sam said blushing.
"More or less. I thought you were alone." Bianca slyly said, hiding her smile.
"I see.. Well maybe.." I started to say before Sam cut me off.
"Dean.. Cas called," Sam said quickly as if he was going to forget what he came here for, " Kevin figured out what one of the tablets said. I think we should be there when he figures out what the second says."
"What? How? How long ago did he call?" Dean asked, looking torn between me and what Sam just said.
"About 15 minutes ago." Sam said.
"Okay. I'll…I'll meet ya in your room." Dean slowly mumbled.
Just as he said that I quickly interjected , "You guys could use my office. Maybe I could be of some help."
They both looked at each other. Without a word, they nodded and I told Bianca to lead Sam to my office. Dean and I would be there in a second. She nodded, smiling still and left. Dean who was still laying on the couch. Slowly got up and reached for his shirt. Except he didn't put it on himself. He passed it to me.
"Well… rain check. I guess. Sorry. But this is kind of important." Dean said in a low voice.
"Yeah, Of course. I get it.. But don't you need your shirt?" I asked slowly, raising one eyebrow.
"Nah. Besides, I think it would look better on you." He smirked and leaned down to kiss the top of my head.
I gave him a little smile while I slipped on his top. I could smell him. Made me smile a little wider. Dean stood up and zipped and buttoned his jeans back up. He offered a hand to help me up. He placed that same hand on the small on my back and we left to go to the office. As we got there, Sam and Bianca were in deep conversation about something that they have in common.
Soon Dean and Sam were filling Bianca and I in on the situation and what they have discovered so far. As they were talking about something called "the angel tablet." They started to talk about my father. My maker. But I don't think they know about him and I. I found myself getting worried when they said that he was missing. And if he was missing.. Who. The. Fuck! Gave me the message earlier.
"So… What's the plan now? What should we do now?" Bianca's voice cracked and brought me out of my thoughts.
"I think. I think we should not tell the others about this. We should tell them that we should go and investigate the murders and that we should go down to Kansas." I started to say, not really sure about my own plan.
"Alright. I really don't wanna answer the question that they would have over this." Sam and Bianca said at the same time.
"Sounds like a plan.. So when are we leaving?" Dean finally spoke in a low tone.
"We shall leave tomorrow. Around 1 o'clock. Cool?" I said with a little smile.
"Cool!" Bianca exclaimed. She really does know how to look at the good in things.
"Alright. Did you wanna go around and tell the others? Tell them to pack up and that there is a meeting tomorrow as well." I looked at Bianca. "As for you two, pack up and get some good sleep. It's going to be a long ass day tomorrow."
They both nodded and Sam was the first to leave. Dean just sat there for a minute and slowly looked me in my eyes. He wanted to say something but he looked so torn. I wanted to ask him what was up, but before I could, I didn't really know how too. I really have never felt this way before. At least for a human.. He slowly got up, still looking at me. Then he started towards the door. But before he walked out, he turned and looked me straight in the eye.
"I'm sorry for what you're about to be dragged into." He said in a low husky tone.
I just sat there. I sat there and watched him leave. How is this happening.. Why now?
When I awake. A pain went shooting from my neck down my back. When I woke up a little more I was still at my desk. Papers were everywhere and there was a little pool of drool. I stretched my limbs and yawned. I looked down and was still wearing Deans' shirt. I smiled and started to clean up my mess. As I was sorting, there was a piece of paper that stood out to me the most. When I picked it up and read it 'When the time is right, you'll know how to truly find me'
There was no name, no scent. I didn't recognize the handwriting either. A million names went through my mind but they would at least leave a name or a scent. But there was nothing. I just shook my head and walked out of my office to my bedroom for a well deserved shower. I could still smell the scent of Dean and tequila.
As I stood in the shower I could feel the tequila seep out of my pores. The memories of last night started to creep into my mind. It was a little hazy but I could remember the way Dean kissed my lips, my skin. The way his hands explored my body. I could still taste him. I bit my bottom lip with each memory. I couldn't help but smile. I shut off the water and stepped out of the shower. The room was all steamy and warm. I picked up his shirt and put it on my bed. That shirt just became my new favorite. I went to my closet and picked out my outfit. I decided to go with a black lacy bra with a silk thong. Then I chose a band tee that was cut into a muscle shirt and a pair of my favorite jeans. Then to tie it all off I chose a pair of skate shoes. I sauntered to the bathroom to do my hair and make-up. I decided on a braid that swayed to the right and some light make-up. As soon as I was done getting ready, my dogs were patiently waiting by the door. I smiled at them and opened the door to feed them and myself.
When we made it down to the kitchen, I started in the dogs area. I gave them their food. As they were eating I started to pack what they needed, some food, treats and their harnesses and leashes. As I finished up my stomach gave a growl. I went back towards the kitchen and started to make myself some food. As I was making up the coffee, I looked around and realized that no one else was up. I just shrugged my shoulders and went back to what I was doing. Then when the coffee machine was done, I made myself some coffee. I looked at my little breakfast. Some eggs, bacon and toast. I noticed that it wasn't the hunger I was feeling at the moment. It was the thirst. I sighed and grabbed the bottle of grizzly blood that was in the fridge. I poured it into a cup. I hated the fact that I was a vampyer. No matter how hard I tried to forget it. It was still there. Like a monster that was waiting in the shadows.
I grabbed my breakfast and went outside to enjoy the quiet morning. When I was done eating, I just sat there and watched the sun slowly start to warm up the summer earth. A song bird landed on the railing of my deck and sang a quick song. The dogs didn't even mind. After it's song it flew away. I just smiled and sighed. I have a feeling that this was the last quiet morning I was going to have.
After my coffee was done and my breakfast finished. I gulped down the glass of blood before heading inside. As I walked through the door and was greeted by cheerful Bianca and Sam. They were chit chatting about something and smiling at each other. They stopped for a second to wave at me and say good morning. I washed my dishes and decided to make some Iced Tea for the road. Then I sat down with them and asked them how the rest of their night went.
"Do you mean before or after the little bloop?" Bianca chuckled into her coffee.
"Before you guys rudely interpreted." I said giggling into my second cup.
"Well.. we watched a couple movies and went down to the stables and were planning on going for a quick ride." Bianca said as she twiddled her thumbs.
"Also before Kevin called. We were sipping on those Canadian beers" Sam said with a chuckle. Not really acknowledging that he walked in on his brother and me half naked.
"Could you remind me when we are leaving again?" Bianca asked, looking at her phone.
"I wanted to leave around 1 o'clock." I said, then looked at Sam. "Where's Dean at? Is he still asleep?" I instantly regretted saying that out loud.
"No.. he was packing when I went into his room. He said that he was going for a shower after he was done." He said, taking a sip of his coffee.
I just nodded and said that I was going to say my good-byes to my horses and get someone to round everyone up. Bianca and Sam nodded and ate the rest of their breakfast. On my way out of the house I saw Sookie in the garden and asked her if she could go get everyone and meet me in the dining room. She said okay and went back to what she was doing. I just rolled my eyes and went to my horses. As I was saying my goodbyes, I just stared at the mountains that surrounded my house. I took a deep breath in and I closed my eyes and stood in the yard. I listened to trees, and heard the rivers that ran not far from the house. The song birds that were singing their songs. As I opened my eyes I saw a wolf that had made its way into the field. As we stared at each other, its black eyes and white coat, I nodded. Then it disappeared as fast as it appeared. I knew right then and there that this wasn't going to be a normal trip.
When I made it through the doors and stopped at the stairs wondering if I should go up and talk to Dean. My stomach got little flutters in it and my skin started to tingle where his hands were. I shook my head and decided that maybe that wasn't a good idea. So I made my way to the dining room, trying to figure out what I was going to say to a room full of vampyers.
