Chapter 19
After we finished dinner and cleaned up, we started a fire. After it was lit, we all sat around it, enjoying the warmth of the flames and swapping stories. Dean and Sam just got done telling us about the time they went after a shapeshifter.
"Gross. So it just sheds its skin?" Elena looked totally grossed out.
"Yeah, the remains of it would turn into a jelly-like substance." Sam let out a laugh.
"Framed my ass for murder though." Dean grumbled as he took a sip of his whiskey.
"I haven't seen one in about 150 years." I said, trying hard to remember.
"And to think, the strangest thing Stefan and I have seen is a vampyer werewolf hybrid." Damon winked at Stefan.
"A… What?" Sam said, sitting straighter in his chair.
Stefan, Damon, Elena and I all started to explain the Mikaelson family and their origins of their bloodline. Also about how the only way to kill them is a tree that they ended up burning down. Sam and Dean were enamored by all of it. I was hoping that they wouldn't ask the question about how I was made. In fact, I was really just avoiding having that conversation all together. Luckily, they seemed to move on to a whole other topic. We continued to talk and drink until it was about 2 in the morning. Dean and Sam yawned and said that they were going to bed. As they got up, Dean looked at me and winked. I told him that I would be up in a minute and winked back. Stefan stoked the fire to put it out, then he said that he was going to walk around the perimeter for a while. Damon asked if he could tag along, Stefan agreed. Elena said she was going to go for a bath. Bianca said she was going to read for a while. Then all us girls got up and went inside. When we got up the stairs we all went our separate ways.
I made it to the bedroom door, I took a deep breath in and walked through the door. As I did, I saw that Dean was passed out on the bed. I smiled and went to change into my pjs. I started to walk towards the bed, that's when my eye settled on the sight that was before me. I chuckled, there he was passed out. Looks like he managed to at least take his shoes and leather jacket off. I decided that I was going to at least get his shirt off. As I did, he groaned and cracked an eye open. He smiled and quickly went back to sleep. I rolled my eyes and thought to myself 'Shit. If I wasn't a vampyer, this would be impossible.'
After I got his shirt off, I laid him back down on the bed and covered him with a blanket. Then I crawled beside him and quickly fell asleep.
When I woke up the next morning, I was alone in bed. Again. I stretched and looked at my phone. 11:30 am. Damn, slept in. I groaned and got out of bed. A wave of nausea washed over me. Oh no… I bent over the bed, just then the room started to spin fast. I looked up and saw that Dean was standing between the bedroom and bathroom. I faintly heard him call my name and walk towards me. My vision started to tunnel and felt super weak. Then I fell to the floor and it all went black.
I woke up with a feeling of uneasiness. I opened up my eyes and saw that I was in my safe haven. Only it was a little darker and there was something not quite right. The sky was gray and the trees were dying. Confused, I slowly got up and walked around. I shouted a couple of hellos. Nothing but eerie silence answered me back. That's when I heard a rustling of leaves behind me. I turned around and saw that a little girl was standing behind me. She couldn't have been older than 14 years old. She had long black hair that was in ringlets. Her skin was tanned and her eyes were the color of chocolate. She looked terrified. Like she nor I were really supposed to be here.
"Hey. Don't worry. I won't hurt you. What's your name?" I asked slowly.
"Aur… Auriel." She stuttered.
"Auriel. That's a pretty name. Are you an angel?" I made my voice sweeter.
"Yeah.." She said still unsure about me.
"Awesome. How did you get here? How did you summon me here?" I started to get more and more confused.
"Your dad told me how to. I didn't think it would work. I…I did it then you appeared. He wanted me to tell you something." Auriel said, still a little scared. I was starting to wonder what got her so scared.
"So, is he okay? I heard that he was gone? What did he want to tell me?" I asked a little too quickly.
"He wanted me to tell you that he isn't in any trouble. He is okay. You should stick with the Winchester boys. Everything will make sense in due time." Her eyes flickered side to side, searching her brain.
"Of course he's vague about it. At least he's okay. So what now? Why are the Winchester brothers so important?" I asked her like she was going to know.
She shrugged her shoulders, "I do not know. But I gotta go before someone notices I'm gone." She said looking around, worried.
"Wait? What? Who…" I started to say as she walked over. She reached up and put two dainty fingers on my forehead. Then everything went black.
Before I could open my eyes, my head started pounding. Coming in and out of these never was easy. Groaning, I slowly started to open my eyes and saw a very worried Dean looking at me. Fuck. I wondered if he went to get Bianca, and how much she had told him. He was checking me over, making sure that I wasn't hurt.
"I'm fine. I'm fine. My head is just hurting a little." I said, my voice was a little groggy.
"What the hell happened?" He looked me dead in the eyes.
"I…I had a vision. It happens every now and again." I lied.
"A… Vision?" He asked, very skeptical.
"Yeah. Some vampyers have visions, some have other powers." Bianca came bursting through the doorway.
"What is that?" Dean nodded to the glass in her hand.
"It's… ummm…" Bianca stammered.
"Blood." I said bluntly.
"Blood. As in.. Human blood?" He swallowed hard.
"Yeah, I brought some along just in case. I keep it in a cooler in my car. Don't worry, no one died for it, I got it from a blood bank." Bianca explained, "Here. This should help."
"Thanks." I said reaching for the glass, "Hey Dean. I don't think you want to be here while I drink this."
"It's fine. I want to hear about this… This vision that you had." His eyes flicked between me and the glass.
"Uhh… I think I would like to talk to Bianca alone. It's about her anyways." I lied, again.
"Okay… Well I'll be downstairs." He said and walked towards the door. He looked at me before he closed it.
"Okay, spill. That totally wasn't a vision. You don't get them. That was your dad calling. Why lie?" Bianca totally called me out.
"I know. I know. I didn't want to lie, But… I don't really know how to tell him that my maker is God." I said as I sipped the blood.
"You're going to have to explain it sooner or later." She warned.
I sighed and went on to explain what happened. Binacas' face contorted in every which way as I told her what happened. After I was done, she shrugged her shoulders not really knowing what to say. We just looked at each other for a second before deciding that we should head downstairs and get ready to leave. I threw back the rest of the blood in the glass and went to get dressed. I threw on a pair of short shorts, plain black tank top and an oversized band hoodie. I packed up my things and went downstairs. As I made it down the stairs, my dogs were waiting for me at the bottom. I bent down and gave them a big hug and some kisses. I stood back up and walked towards the living room where everyone was sitting. I told them that I was okay. "I didn't know that you got visions." Elena said. I ignored her and said that we should get going already. They all nodded and went to pack up.
After about a half hour, we were ready to go. We were a little behind schedule but it wasn't that big of a deal. I locked up the house, set the alarm and hid the keys. I started to walk towards Dean and the impala. He smiled at me and opened the car door for me.
"Such a gentleman you are." I winked and got in.
"Just for you sweetheart." Dean winked at me and closed the door.
He walked over to the drivers side and climbed in. He slid the key into the ignition and started her up. His smile got wider as the car purred to life. He put it into gear and drove off towards Kansas.
