Back in the hangar, the Jedi were starting to gain the upper hand as the agents were starting to thin in number, though they were still fierce in their constant attacks to stop the Jedi from escaping. Anakin had managed to find the controls to the hangar doors and was trying to open them.

"Keep them off me!" Anakin said. "I need a minute!"

Anakin ran his fingers on the controls being sure not to miss a key. The agents began to rush towards him while the Clones and Ahsoka kept Anakin covered. After several more agents were killed, Anakin manages to open the door.

"Got it!"

After finally finishing off the rest of the agents and losing 3 more Clones in the struggle, the heroes load the Younglings in the gunship and prepare to fly off.

"Do you have a visual on Commander Black?" Rex called on his communicator.

"Yes, sir." A Clone answered. "We see him at the top of the tower and he's fighting Derek in what seems to be the main control room."

"Roger that." Rex responds. With that, the gunship floats out of the hangar and lands on a rooftop to let the Younglings off who were taken off in another gunship back to the Temple. Then the heroes began to head up the tower.

Meanwhile, Terry and Derek were dueling in a fierce fight. Their attacks towards each other were quick and with each attack, they would strike almost instantly with each blow as strong with as the other. They would jump over each other, would do swipes, kicks, and punches. Their battle went on for what seemed to be many minutes quickly.

"I must say, this is quite fun." Derek mused.

"Perhaps." Terry said. Then they crossed their blades. "That won't end well for one of us."

They continue their blows. Then they cross again, and Derek uses his free arm to push Terry's right arm up and tries to try to slice Terry's exposed arm off. Everything slows down and Terry barely tosses is saber up, moves his arm to dodge Derek's attack, grabs his saber, and swipes the tip across Derek's face. Derek gives a scream of anger and pain and clutches his face. Terry moves back a few feet and raises his saber in a ninja stance. Derek looks towards Terry and removes his hand from his face, revealing that Terry had carved a scar that crosses the scar Terry's father had cut into Derek's face long ago.

"Oh, youuuuuu." Derek breathes in shear frustration.

"Now the son leaves his mark." Terry declares.

Derek screams in fury and charges at Terry. He blocks a blow and throws them both out a window and they land on a balcony 40 feet below the window.

At this time, the Clones monitoring the fight notices where two land and inform Rex.

"Sir. Come in." The Clone calls.

"Go ahead." Rex responds.

"We got visual. They're on a balcony on the west side near the top."

"Copy that. We're on it."

The ship moves quicker. Terry and Derek continue their duel and their blows are much more fierce.

"I'm gonna enjoy making your death as slow and painful as ever!" Derek growls with anger. "Worse than your father!"

"It was different back then." Terry counters. "This time will end in a much different outcome."

The two strike several more blows and Derek manages to pin down Terry to the floor of the balcony. Derek pushes his full weight into his hand to push the blades onto Terry's face, but somehow, Terry manages to hold tight. Then, Terry gives a powerful head-butt, knocking Derek back, and allowing Terry to grab his master's saber out of Derek's grasp. He wields them in an akimbo style like a master swordsman, one saber pointing backward sideways and the other forward sideways.

Then the gunship reaches their level and hovers at a slightly higher altitude. Derek doesn't feel bothered.

"You think they can help you now?" Derek asks.

"You're the one who needs help right now." Terry counters.

"Indeed." Derek smears. He then pushes a button on his armor and soon, small highly advanced missiles come out of nowhere and strike the gunship, causing it to fall and crash-land on a nearby rooftop. Everyone survives the fall. Then, a highly advanced air glider rises up to the balcony and Derek hops on it. He flies off to the top of the tower with Terry in hot pursuit who uses his webs to sling up.

Meanwhile, Anakin, Ahsoka, and Rex emerge from the wreckage a little scathed.

"You two alright?" Rex asks.

"We're fine." Anakin responds.

"We're fine also." One of the pilots responds also.

"We need another gunship." Rex calls on his communicator.

"On our way, sir." One pilot answers. Two minutes later, another gunship arrives and picks them up and proceeds to the top of the tower to join Terry.

At the top of the tower, the device is nearly full of electricity from the storm. Derek arrives and disembarks the glider and it flies off. Then Terry launches up and lands about twelve feet from Derek.

"Well, I've got to hand it to you. You're a bigger pain in the neck than I ever would have though possible." Derek says.

"I expected more from you, uncle." Terry says.

"And you certainly will." Derek declares. " The device has absorbed enough electricity from the storm. All it needs is to be activated and BOOM! But I'll wait until I've gotten rid of you."

"Alright then." Terry says eagerly. "But this time, we'll settle this with our fists."

Derek smiles mischievously and the two charge at each other and exchange blows with fists and knees. After several minutes, the gunship reaches the roof, but Derek quickly activates a ray shield that covers the roof in a large bubble.

"No more distractions." Derek says.

"Agreed." Terry replies and they continue.

From the gunship, all the others can do is watch.

"Looks like this won't be settled with a lightsaber or the Force." Anakin says.

"Terry knows a good fight." Ahsoka says. "Not all can be solved with a saber or blaster."

"Agreed." Rex says.

Several more minutes pass and another gunship with Windu and Plo Koon arrive after the Younglings were safely returned to the Temple.

"I hope we're not too late." Plo Koon calls on the communicator.

"You're just in time, Master Plo." Ahsoka responds.

"Can we get through this shield?" Windu asks.

"No can do." Anakin responds. "Only the device in Derek's armor can do that.

"What do you propose we do?" Master Plo asks.

"At this point, we do nothing." Anakin says. "We have to let Terry settle this on his own and we have to trust that he will do the right thing."

As they watch, Terry begins to gain the upper hand, but not before his uncle lands a few hard blows to Terry's face and arms. Terry manages to knock Derek hard into the wall of the shield. Derek quickly recovers and throws a thermal detonator that explodes close to Terry's face, knocking him back and causing his head to bleed, though not much.

"How'd ya like that, twerp?" Derek taunts. They circle.

"That all ya got?" Terry taunts back.

They resume and again they circle each other and they talk again.

"You're nothing but a failure, Terry." Derek says.

"Once before, not again." Terry counters.

"You couldn't save your parents and you couldn't save your master." Derek taunts. "Yet after being framed by your friend and cast down by your Order, you still stay. Why?"

"They make mistakes, including Barriss." Terry says. "But she was consumed by her fears and her pain that she couldn't see what she did was wrong. I would have killed her but I didn't. It would have made me worse than she was."

"Yet Yoda was about to leave you at the mercy of the Republic." Derek says. "Yet you forgave him for turning his back on you. Why?"

"Even someone as wise as Yoda can make mistakes and failures." Terry says. "We all have to endure failure in our lives. I was too scared and young to stop you from killing my parents and I have to live with that forever. Despite all we learn, failure can still come. But with every failure, we learn to not repeat the same mistake. That's what made him wise in his old age. Sometimes, failure is the best teacher."

The others in the gunships listen to Terry's speech and are at a lost for words.

"Is it?" Derek mocks. "Well, there will be a failure you won't overcome!"

They resume fighting and this time, Terry knocks Derek into a concrete wall next to the shield and he stands back 5 feet. Unbeknownst to Terry, a large square-shaped box rises 20 feet behind him.

"It's over, uncle!" Terry declares.

"It's over alright." Derek says. "FOR YOU!"

At that, Terry's senses alert him. Then, without warning, the glider burst through the box at high speed with a large blade protruding at the front. Everything seems to slow down and Terry does a quick back flip, narrowly dodging the glider and it heads straight towards Derek. It strikes Derek in the abdomen and impales him to the concrete wall. The glider strikes at such a force, the blade goes through the wall. Terry lands and looks at his uncle in shock. The others in the gunships are horrified at what just happened. Then the shield deactivates, allowing them to land.

Derek weakly looks up at Terry. "I won't die alone. I promise you." Then he touches the center of his armor, pushing a secret large button. With that, the device activates. It rises out of the roof to where a large dome that surges with electrical energy rises halfway through the roof.

"In five minuets, we all die." Derek weakly says and he dies.

The others regroup with Terry.

"You alright, Terry?" Ahsoka asks.

"I'm fine." Terry says.

"What can we do about the device?" Anakin asks.

"It's a one off." Terry says. "Once it activates, it can't be stopped. Even manually."

"There has to be something we can do." Windu says.

"I think there is." Terry says. "The electricity is the fuel that powers the device. It needs time before it can enter the core and cause the cataclysm that will wipe out everything in the radius." Terry takes out his gloves and puts them on. "I can get it out before it does."

"Terry, you don't honestly think you can actually absorb it can you?" Obi-Wan asks concerned.

"My power can suck electricity out of anything." Terry says. "But the thing is, it will explode eventually. The more I absorb, the bigger the explosion."

"Terry's right." Ahsoka says. "I saw Terry do that from all the attacks the Black Sun agents did down below with electric rods."

"Terry." Anakin says. "This could kill you. Are you prepared for it?"

"With so many lives at stake, I'm willing." Terry declares. "Death comes for all eventually, but it should not come because of a selfish man's actions."

"Could not have said it better myself." Plo Koon says.

Terry walks up to the dome. He activates his powers and his arms glow with orange electricity and he places both of his hands on the dome and begins to absorb the electricity. As he struggles to absorb the electricity, the rays on his arms glow more fiercely and finally, he draws out the electricity from the dome. As the electricity moves down his arms into his body, the intense power disintegrates his gloves and tears his sleeves to shreds. Upon sucking out the last of the electricity, the force pushes Terry back several feet and he falls down in complete pure agony, his body radiating with pure electrical energy.

The others gather around him.

"Get. Me. In. The. Air." Terry wheezes. "Can't. Hold it. In. For long."

Anakin, Obi-Wan, Ahsoka, Windu, and Plo concentrate the Force all together to lift Terry and then they launch Terry over a mile into the sky, out of range of the buildings. Then, as he reaches the height as gravity kicks in, KABOOM! Terry explodes in a gigantic ball of electricity that covers the sky in a four mile radius. The others on the tower cover their eyes to block the light of the explosion. When the light dies down, they look up and see Terry fall from the sky, electric residue emanating from his body as he falls. He lands on the tower in a small explosion of electricity.

"Terry!" Anakin says.

They check on Terry. He gives a small cough and barely opens his eyes.

"I-i-is everything-?" Terry wheezes.

"You did it, Terry." Ahsoka says. "You deactivate the device."

"G-g-good." Terry weakly says and he goes limp.

"We need to get him back to the Temple!" Obi-Wan says.

Anakin and Obi-Wan carry Terry into their gunship with Ahsoka while Windu and Plo Koon leave in the other and they fly back to the Temple.

"Sir, his armor." Rex says.

They look and notice that Terry's clothing is slowly beginning to regenerate all that was lost to the electricity.
